Abstract

Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah dapat membuat alat ukir layout rangkaian elektronika pada papan PCB (Printed Circuit Board) atau yang disebut dengan mesin CNC (Computer Numerical Control) sehingga dapat mempermudah pekerjaan manusia dalam pembuatan layout dan mengurangi proses dari pembuatan layout biasa yang menggunakan bahan pelarut tembaga Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) dan proses lainnya. Metode perancangan dan pembuatan sistem alat ada beberapa tahapan yaitu  perancangan alat, perancangan perangkat keras perancangan perangkat lunak, dan rancangan fisik alat. Hasil perancangan dan pembuatan alat mesin CNC untuk mengukir layout pada PCB bekerja dengan menggunakan mikrokontroller Arduino UNO sebagai pengirim firmware GRBL dan menggunakan aplikasi CNCjs untuk mengontrol mesin CNC. Alat ini menggunakan tiga (3) motor stepper nema17 sebagai penggerak mesin dengan tiga axis yaitu X, Y dan Z, selanjutnya mesin CNC menggunakan bor sebagai alat ukir pada PCB yang terletak pada Axis Z. Layout akan diukir pada PCB setelah file layout diubah dalam bentuk file .ngc menggunakan aplikasi inkscape dan diupload pada aplikasi CNCjs sehingga pengontrolan mesin CNC pada proses baik sebelum dan akan dioperasikan. Dari hasil penelitian tugas akhir ini menghasilkan alat yang dapat mengukir layout pada papan PCB.Kata kunci : CNC, PCB, Motor Stepper, GRBL, Mikrokontroller

Abstract

The problem in this study is the existence of learning outcomes under the KKM standard of competence in the Electrical Fundamental students of class X Aiframe Powerplant of Nusantara Ketaping Flight Academy. The purpose of this study was to reveal how much the students' motivation and learning facilities contributed individually or together to the learning outcomes of Electrical Fundamental students of class X. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The study population amounted to 137 and a sample of 58 students in class X Aiframe. The sampling technique is done by proportional random sampling. Data on student learning outcomes are obtained from the curriculum section. While data on student motivation and learning facilities were obtained through questionnaires using a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that (1) Motivation of students and learning facilities together contribute significantly to learning outcomes 27.88%, (2) Motivation of students contributing significantly to student learning outcomes of class X Electrical Fundamental expertise programs of 13, 91%, (3) Learning facilities contribute significantly to the learning outcomes of class X students. Electrical Fundamental skills program at Nusantara Nusantara Ketaping Vocational High School is 8.64%. So it can be concluded that Motivation of Students and Facilities Learning together or partially contributes to class X student learning outcomes Electrical Fundamental competency standard skills program class X Aiframe Powerplant SMK Nusantara Ketaping Flight.Keywords: Student Motivation, Learning Facilities, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes in the Basic Electricity and Electronics subject at SMK Negeri 1 Sumbar. The purpose of the study was to reveal how much the contribution of the family environment and how to learn about learning outcomes. The research method used in this study is descriptive correlational. The study population 96 people and the sample 49 people. The research sample was determined using simple random sampling technique. The results of data analysis showed that (1) the family environment and the way of learning of students together contributed significantly to student learning outcomes by 37.99%. (2) family environment significantly contributes to student learning outcomes by 23.88%, (3) student learning methods contribute significantly to student learning outcomes by 26.39%. So it can be concluded that he better the family environment and effective and efficient ways of student learning, the higher the learning outcomes. Keywords: Student team achievent division, learning models, learning outcomes, experiment, control

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-learning based modules to increase student motivation in Simulation and Digital Communication subjects at SMK N 1 Padang. The research method used is research and development using the Borg and Gall model which is limited to five research steps namely the data collection stage, the planning stage, the product development stage, the initial field trial stage, and dissemination. The object of the trial in this study was students of class X Machining C Engineering at SMK N 1 Padang, amounting to 33 people. The research instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, professional teacher response questionnaire, student response questionnaire, multiple-choice question instrument, and student motivation questionnaire. The results of the material expert validation showed 82.81% (very good). The results of the validation of the media experts showed 79.13% (very good). The results of professional teacher simulation and digital communication responses covered all aspects of the material and media at 86.71% (very good) and the results of student responses were obtained 80.20% (very good). The results of the student learning motivation questionnaire showed 85.13% (very good). To find out the increase in the achievement of knowledge competence is done by giving pre-test, treatment, post-test (Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design) through the T-test, the results of the assessment on digital citizenship material obtained N-Gain 0.85 high category. Based on the data above, this study shows that the development of e-learning modules in Simulation and Digital Communication subjects can increase student motivation.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that e-learning has not been fully implemented by all lecturers of FT UNP, the low participation of lecturers in uploading lecture material using e-learning at FT UNP, the low participation of students in downloading lecture material using e-learning at FT UNP, there is a gap in take advantage of e-learning between students and other students at FT UNP and there has never been an evaluation of the implementation of e-learning at FT UNP. The purpose of this research is to explain the implementation of e-learning in terms of context, input, process and product components. The results obtained from this study can be concluded that the context, input, process, and results component on the implementation of e-learning in the Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University are in good category. Process and outcome components need to be improved, so that the implementation of e-learning can be carried out optimally. Based on the findings of this study, it can be recommended that the implementation of e-learning can be continued by making improvements to each of its components.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is crossed by a world ring of fire that has the potential for earthquakes and tsunamis. An earthquake is an occurrence of shaking the ground due to the sudden release of energy into the earth. Since earthquakes occur within an undetermined period, we need a device to detect earthquake vibrations as early as possible within few seconds and announce real-time warning information on the website. The monitor screen displays a flat, a slightly increasing, the alarm displays a sound "weak earthquake”, "moderate earthquake", "strong earthquake", "very strong earthquake”. When there are no earthquake waves, very small shaking, PGA more than 200 gals, PGA more than 400 gals, PGA more than 600 gals and PGA more than 800 gals respectively. The alarm announces watch out (hati-hati) for moderate earthquake PGA more than 200 gals, caution (waspada) PGA more than 400 gals and ask to evacuate for PGA more than 600 gals. The earthquakes detecting devices are useful in reducing their negative impacts, for instance, fatalities and material losses. The development of this system is to provide faster and more accurate information, and we can access the information on the internet network with broad coverage. The system can send the information within 5 second to user.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) Cooperative Learning Model on ICT Guidance Learning Outcomes at UPT SMP N 2 Painan. The type of research used is experimental research. This research uses numerical research procedures and the analysis uses statistics and uses quantitative methods. For the research results, the experimental class data is 78.933 with the control class average score is 69.76. The final test analysis where the tcount is 9.484 and ttable is 1.68 with a 95% significance level so that tcount > ttable, the research hypothesis is accepted. For student activity and response, the average result is 4,301 with a percentage of 86,037 with a very good classification and for the average student response result is 4,343 with a percentage of 86,871 with a very good classification. The effectiveness of the TGT learning model in the effectiveness trial, it was found that 87% of students got a score of 70 which was classically effective and for the control class, 43.33% of students got a score of <70 which was not classically effective. In terms of Gain Score, it gets a value of 37.31% (medium). In conclusion, there is an effect of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The study was to test the learning effectiveness of program simulation method by using the trainer kit in Microcontroller System courses. The study was conducted to the students who took the microcontroller system courses in the academic year of 2013/2014. The students who took the course were divided into three groups and each of the group served as: (1) the experimental group; (2) control group; and (3) test instrument group. The learning outcome variables (Y2) and the awareness of thinkings (Y1) served as the dependent variable; on the other hand, the motivation (X1) and the creativity (X2) served as independent variables. The data analysis was done by performing the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) in order to see the differences in the learning outcomes and the level of students thinking. The results of the study showed that there have been significant differences in the level of metacognition and the level of learning outcomes competence on the program simulation method by using the trainer kit on microcontroller systems course  in comparison to those who were not using it.

Abstract

This research introduces ways of preparing the community to play a direct role in reducing the risk of earthquake and tsunami disasters. Nagari Matobe is a village located in South Sipora. This location is in an earthquake tsunami-prone area. The regional government has prepared Matobe village to be a disaster-resilient village. A previous survey from 2019-2020 showed that the community of Matobe village lacked knowledge of earthquakes, tsunamis, and disaster mitigation systems. This research aimed to improve preparation for earthquake and tsunami disasters by making the people of Matobe village resilient to disasters. The steps taken to improve community preparedness were: 1. An initial survey on community conditions, buildings, soil characteristics, and the community’s preparedness to face earthquakes and tsunamis; 2. The creation of a topographic map; 3. Education and training for elementary school students, with simulations, on the mechanism of earthquakes and tsunamis, on how to evacuate and prepare for evacuation, through stories using Doraemon, Nobita, and Dorami, comic characters from Japan; 4. Providing education and training on building materials under the 2002 Indonesian building planning standards and plans for earthquake-safe buildings following the 2016 earthquake-safe building structure standards; 5. Education and training to strengthen existing buildings; and 6. A proposal for a tsunami evacuation map and the location of evacuation signs. The community in Nagari Matobe was very cooperative and took an active role during the implementation of this research. The evaluation questionnaire distributed to elementary school students showed that the students were delighted and, on average, thought that the education and training in preparedness were beneficial. This education and training became an important reference for the community and government in developing Matobe village to become a disaster-resilient village.

Abstract

Peningkatan Keterampilan Mikroprosesor dan Mikrokontroler bagi guru-guru SMKN 2 Solok dan SMKN 2 Gunung Talang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru-guru SMK dalam perancangan rangkaian dan pemrograman. Mikroprosesor dan Mikrokontroler. Keterampilan guru-guru SMK dalam bidang mikroprosesor dan mikrokontroler sangat dibutuhkan untuk dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman pada era revolusi industri 4.0, terutama guru-guru SMK bidang listrik dan elekronika. Untuk dapat merancang sebuah sistem pengontrolan dengan Mikroprosesor dan Mikrokontroler membutuhkan minimal dua keterampilan utama yaitu: (1) perancangan dan perakitan hardware; (2) perancangan dan perakitan software. Metode peningkatan keterampilan yang digunakan adalah metode pebelajaran saintifik dengan dimana, setiap peserta harus melalui 5 tahapan seperti: mengamati, menanya, mencobakan, mendiskusikan dan mempresentasikan. Dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan di kota Solok memberikan keterampilan Mikroprosesor dan Mikrokontroler kepada guru-guru SMKN 2 kota Solok dan SMKN 2 Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok, agar guru-guru SMK tersebut dapat mengajar dengan baik dan lancar. Hasil kegiatan adalah berupa peningkatan keterampilan mikroprosesor dan mikrokontroler bagi guru-guru SMK, publikasi pada media masa dan publikasi pada jurnal ber-ISSN.
