Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students on Digital Simulation subjects in SMK N 3 Pariaman. This study aims to determine the effect of learning outcomes by using Active Learning model Practice Rehearsal Pairs type with direct learning models on subjects Digital Simulation class X TKJ odd semester SMK N 3 Pariaman Year Teaching 2017/2018. This type of research uses the Quasi Eksperimental design. Sampling using Probability Sampling technique, The sample of research is class X TKJ B as experiment class using Active Learning model of Practice Rehearsal Pairs type and class X TKJ A as control class using direct learning model. Data collection technique from post-test in experiment and control class, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class research results obtained an average value of 86.88, while the control class gets an average value of 78.28. Result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got titung> ttable that is 3,780> 1,678, because big tcount of ttable, hil n hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Can be concluded mean at the real level, this research shows that, there is influence of student learning outcomes between the use of Active Learning model of Practice Rehearsal Pairs type with direct learning model on Digital Simulation subjects of class X TKJ in SMK N 3 Pariaman. The use of Practice Rehearsal Pairs model has a significant influence on the improvement of Digital Simulation learning outcomes.Keywords: Active Learning, Practice Rehearsal Pairs, Learning Outcomes, Digital Simulation

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan trainer mikrokontroler ATmega328 sebagai media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran ini berbentuk  trainer dan job sheet  yang digunakan sebagai penunjang praktikum pada mata pelajaran mikroprosesor dan mikrokontroler jurusan teknik elektronika industri di SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat. Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif adalah metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Objek  pada penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran mikrokontroler ATmega328 yang berbentuk trainer dan job sheet. Pengujian  kelayakan dilakukan dengan validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner. Data yang didapatkan akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah  tingkat kelayakan dari media pembelajaran trainer mikrokontroler ATmega328. Dari hasil penilaian yang dilakukan pada ahli materi dan ahli media didapatkan data tingkat kelayakan media trainer dan jobsheet . Pada validasi ahli materi memperoleh tingkat kelayakan  dengan persentase 76,20%  dengan kategori sangat layak dan validasi ahli media memperoleh tingkat kelayakan dengan persentase 86,60% dengan kategori sangat layak.Kata Kunci : Media pembelajaran, trainer, mikrokontroler

Abstract

Dalam sebuah rumah biasanya masih menekan tombol ON/OFF secara manual untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu. Biasanya keamanan pada rumah juga masih dipantau secara manual, dan hanya bisa dilakukan apabila pemilik rumah sedang barada dirumah. Tujuan dari system rumah pintar ini adalah mengurangi pemborosan energi listrik, menurunkan angka kriminalitas terutama pencurian, dan juga menyalakan dan mematikan lampu secara otomatis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode rancang bangun alat, Adapun yang dirancang adalah perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Perancangan perangkat keras meliputi rangkaian minimun mikrokontroler ATMega 328, Arduino Uno, serta sensor-sensor yang digunakan dalam system rumah pintar ini. Sedangkan untuk perancangan perangkat lunak meliputi diagram alir (Flowchart), dan Bahasa pemograman. Untuk Bahasa pemograman menggunakan aplikasi Arduino IDE (Integreted Development Environment). Dari hasil penelitian dan pengujian pada system rumah pintar ini sensor yang digunakan adalah Sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red), sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), sensor suara, dan juga sensor magnet dapat bekerja dengan baik. Namun pada system rumah pintar ini masih adanya kekurangan yaitu rumah belum dikontrol secara keseluruhan melalui android. Selain itu system keamanan rumah pintar ini sudah dapat memberikan pemberitahuan kepada pemilik rumah walaupun pemilik rumah sedang berpergian.Kata kunci : Rumah, Pintar, Arduino Uno

Abstract

Problems in this research The media used in the teaching and learning process still has a shortage of the limited physical component in SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of GNS3 on the results of learning network-based broad-based installation of students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. This type of research is experimental research. class  experimentI is class TKJ A using software simulation GNS3 and class experiment II is TKJ B using sotware simulation packet tracer. Technique of collecting data from post-test value, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class experimental I result I get the average value 78.77 and experiment II get average value 75,42. The result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got tcount> ttable (3,574> 1,688), because big tcount of ttable, null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted that there is a significant comparation to the student learning outcomes using Software GNS3 to the learning outcomes of installation of broad-based network devices on students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. Keywords: learning outcomes, GNS3, Packet Tracer.

Abstract

Scholarship is income for those who receive it and the purpose of thescholarship is to help ease the burden of the cost of education students receiver.Through the Directorate General of Higher Education scholarship disbursement isdone by several agencies to help someone less capable in economic terms and forthose who have achievements . and the State University of Padang is one of thecolleges that distribute scholarships to students each semester .At the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang distributedscholarships PPA and BBM annually. The selection of who is entitled to get thescholarship using the calculation of the specific criteria. These criteria, namely, thecumulative achievement index, total parental income, number of dependent parental,and semester. For the sake of the effectiveness, taking the right decision is needed.For it is necessary to develop a decision support system that can help the process,and in the development of this system is used SAW method.SAW method is a method for determining who is entitled to receivescholarships based on predetermined criteria . The process begins by finding theweights for each criterion , and then rank the ranking based on the amount of thehighest weight value obtained from each alternative . Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to design and make a real tool in the form of a drying cabinet for cocoa beans. Because this solution can relieve the farmers who previously drained the cocoa beans in the sun. This drying cabinet uses the Arduiono Uno 328P control and heater element as a heater. This cabinet is also equipped with a DC motor mechanical device to drive the cocoa drying container. This tool is also equipped with a DHT12 sensor which is a resistive sensor whose value changes depending on the water content of the cocoa beans. The sensor plays a role in detecting the temperature and humidity of the seeds in the cacao drying room. Then the output inverting amplifier voltage is read by the ADC Arduino UNO 328p microcontroller, which is then processed and displayed on the LCD. The test results showed that the measuring instrument made was able to measure the amount of water contained in cocoa beans in the range of water content measurement from 60% to 7.5%. Keyword: Cocoa Beans, Temperature, Arduino, DC Motor, DHT Sensor

Abstract

Pembuatan alat ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan alat yang dapat membaca suhu, kelembaban serta kecepatan angin pada suatu daerah. Dimana dengan menggunakan sistem pengukuran alat ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai referensi penentu dalam melakukan suatu pekerjaan. Alat ini dikendalikan oleh sebuah Wemos D1 ESP8266 yang merupakan keluarga dari arduino yang dirancang dan dikembangkan untuk keperluan Internet of Things (IoT). Dimana Wemos D1 ESP8266 akan mengontrol sensor DHT11, anemometer dan Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Hasil dari pembaca suhu, kelembaban serta kecepataan angin akan di informasikan melalui Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) untuk masyarakat sekitar. Selain di Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), informasi cuaca tersebut bisa di akses melalui web thinger.io, sehingga memudahkan orang yang membutuhkan informasi cuaca walaupun tidak sedang berada di dekat alat tersebut.Kata kunci : Station Informasi Cuaca, Internet of Things (IoT), Wemos D1 ESP8266, Sensor DHT11, Sensor Anemometer, Suhu dan Kelembaban.The design of this tool aims to produce a tool that can read temperature, humidity and wind speed in an area. Where by using the measurement system this tool can be used as a determining reference in doing a job. This tool is controlled by a Wemos D1 ESP8266 which is a family of Arduino designed and developed for the purposes of the Internet of Things (IoT). Where the Wemos D1 ESP8266 will control the DHT11 sensor, anemometer and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The results of the reading of temperature, humidity and wind speed will be informed via the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) to the surrounding community. Apart from the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), the weather information can be accessed via the web thinger.io, making it easier for people who need weather information even though they are not near the device.Keywords: Weather Information Station, Internet of Things (IoT), Wemos D1 ESP8266, DHT11 Sensor, Anemometer Sensor, Temperature and Humidity.

Abstract

Proses penyiraman tanaman menjadi aspek penting dalam tumbuh kembang tanaman. Agar tumbuh kembang tanaman lebih baik perlu dilakukan monitoring dan pengontrolan menggunakan perangkat mobile. Monitoring dan pengontrolan dilakukan dalam proses penyiraman agar penyiraman berjalan dengan optimal. Untuk factor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam monitoring serta melakukan pengontrolan terhadap penyiraman tanaman, diantaranya adalah kelembaban tanah dan suhu udara.  Menggunakan media tanaman cabe merah, kelembaban tanah yang dibutuhkan adalah berkisar 60%-80% dan suhu udara 18ᵒ-30ᵒC untuk dapat tumbuh dengan optimal. Memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi saat ini khususnya dibidang Internet of Things, maka dibuat suatu alat berupa teknologi dengan pemodelan sistem monitoring dan pengontrolan penyiram tanaman cabe merah berdasarkan kelembaban tanah yang dihasilkan dan suhu udara menggunakan perangkat mobile. Untuk nilai kelembaban dari pembacaan sensor dikirimkan melalui kepemilik tanaman melalui koneksi internet dengan menggunakan server Blynk sebagai media platform IoT.Kata kunci : Tanaman Cabe Merah, Soil Moisture, Blynk, Internet of Things Watering plants is one aspect that plays an important role for the growth and development of a plant, so it is necessary to do a system in the form of monitoring and controlling remotely using a mobile device to carry out the watering process and keep watering running efficiently. There are several factors that must be considered in monitoring and controlling the watering of plants, including soil moisture and air temperature. By using red pepper plant media, the required soil moisture is in the range of 60%-80% and an air temperature of 18°-30°C for optimal growth. By utilizing current technological developments, especially in the field of the Internet of Things, so that makes a tool in the form of technology by modeling a monitoring and controlling system for red chilli plant sprinklers based on the resulting soil moisture and air temperature using a mobile device. Monitoring soil moisture using Soil Moisture Sensor FC-28 for watering red chili plants. The moisture obtained will be sent to the plant owner via an internet connection using the Blynk server as the IoT platform media.Keywords: Red Chili Plant, Soil Moisture, Blynk, Internet of Things

Abstract

This research was focusing on the low of student’s learning outcome, specially on Basic Electronics subject at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh. The subjective is to reveal the effect of applying Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model to the subject. By using Quasi experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the model was enducted in experiment class. A control class where Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was measured by structured  test (Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t>t0 (2,48 > 2.01). This proves that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) with Scientific approach of Problem Based Learning type in subjects of Basic Electronics Technique class X Audio Technique Video at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh.Keywords : Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD, Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model,  learning outcomes, learning model.

Abstract

Padang State University is a state university that was established in West Sumatra with various faculties including engineering faculties in charge of various departments, one of which is electronics engineering majors consisting of electronics engineering study programs, electronic engineering education programs and informatics and computer engineering education courses . Various assumptions emerged with student admissions from both the regular and independent lane. To answer these assumptions, a study was conducted aimed at looking at a comparison of learning outcomes between regular entry students and regular independent entry pathways through a cumulative grade point average (GPA) which was carried out through hypothesis testing and research prerequisites for data sources obtained from descriptive data on students of educational study programs informatics and computer engineering so that it is known between semester credit (X) with the Grade Point Average (GPA) of significance value 0.409 for regular students and a significance value of 0.258 for independent regular students. It was concluded that there was a Positive and Significant Relationship between Regular students and Independent Selection students Informatics and Computer Engineering Education in 2014-2017 and there were no significant differences in learning outcomes in the January-June 2017 semester, in the form of GPA.Keywords: Student, learning outcomes, comparison, population and sample, hypothesis testing.
