Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a technology developed to support one of the smart cities whose the aim is to monitor the environmental conditions CO2, especially regarding data collection to display information on environmental conditions continuously. However, the limitations of this application, it should be noted that the network meets the stringent requirements of the service quality, confidence and high reliability. The goal is strongly influenced by several factors such as environmental characteristics, throughput, and network topology. In this paper, we implementation using real hardware where Arduino as microcontroller and for the monitoring environmental surrounding we use temperature, humidity and CO2 sensors. The data from sensor node will be send to server use IEEE 802.15.4 protocol to data collect and it will be saved to database MySQL. By use IoT technology, the data in the local database will be synchronized to the cloud by using internet access, the aim is so that users can be monitor environment condition by real-time using website or smartphone. In this context, we also provide information on Quality of Service (QoS) management to assist proficiently for monitoring environmental conditions that oversee network performance. The proposed solution proved to be a very useful tool, to detect and clarify potentially throughput and packet lost.

Abstract

Cassava starch industry is a byproduct solids derived from the extraction unit still contains a lot of carbohydrates to allow the tape to be made. Fermentation time required in the process of fermentation is 2-3 days, the appropriate time we will get a sense of tape that tastes a little sour and sweet with the scent of alcohol. The research objective was to determine levels of glucose, alcohol and flavour based on tape cassava fermentation time (0 days, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, and 4 days). The results: significantly effect of fermentation duration on glucose, alcohol and organoleptic properties (fragrance, flavor, texture), whereas not significantly for color. Glucose and alcohol consentration on 3 days fermentation are 3.83 g% and 3.40% w/w, respectively. The best hedonic value on 3 days fermentation duration is 4.24 hedonic scale with criteria liked.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPosyandu  merupakan  salah  satu  pelayanan  kesehatan  di  desa  untuk memudahkan masyarakat mengetahui atau memeriksakan kesehatan terutama ibu hamil dan anak balita. Peran aktif ibu pada setiap kegiatan posyandu tentu akan berpengaruh pada keadaan status gizi anak balitanya. Tujuan Penelitian : mengetahui Hubungan peran aktif ibu dalam kegiatan posyandu dengan status gizi balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. Metode Penelitian : Bersifat Analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Tehnik pengambilan sampel  menggunakan tehnik  proporsional random sampling dengan populasi 167  orang dan didapatkan 93 responden. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 7 s/d 12-7-2014. Pengumpulan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, selanjutnya dilakukan uji statistik dengan menggunakan Chi-Square testmemakai  program  SPSS  versi  13  for  windows  dengan  tingkat  kepercayaan  95%  dan  batas kemaknaan (α=0,05) Ho ditolak jika p value > 0,05 dan Ha diterima jika p value < 0,05. Hasil Penelitian:   terdapat pengetahuan yang baik sebanyak 48 responden (72,7%) memiliki status gizi baik dengan p-value = 0,001. Dan informasi baik sebanyak 34 responden (87,2%) memiliki status gizi baik dengan p-value = 0,000. Serta mayoritas ibu berperan aktif dengan status gizi baik sebanyak 41 responden (74,5%) dengan p-value = 0,003. Kesimpulan : Hasil analisa statistik menyatakan bahwa Ada hubungan pengetahuan, informasi dan peran aktif ibu dengan status gizi balita dalam kegiatan posyandu di desa dalam wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. Diharapkan kepada ibu agar dapat mengetahui dan paham tentang status gizi balita Diharapkan juga kepada tenaga kesehatan agar dapat memberikan konseling dan informasi kepada ibu balita agar memerhatikan status gizi balitanya dengan datang ke posyandu setiap bulannya.   Kata Kunci          : status gizi balita, pengetahuan, informasi dan peran aktif ibu

Abstract

Adanya latar belakang pendidikan yang mana tidak semua siswa pernah mempelajari bahasa Arab menjadikan suat permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Mts Sunan Drajat Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan  kurang diminati oleh siswa karena bahasa Arab adalah bahasa asing bagi mereka. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah siswa masih kesulitan dalam berbicara bahasa Arab dan kurang aktifnya pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas. Permainan cerita berantai adalah salah satu metode yang bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Maka dari itu peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan metode tersebut dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan permainan cerita ini sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan maharah kalam siswa dan memberikan dampak yang positif dakam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yaitu dapat meningkatkan antusias dan semangat siswa dalam belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus uji t dengan hasil hitung t lebih besar daripada tabel t pada taraf signifikan 0,05/5% (10,68 > 1,697) atau 0,01/1% (10,68 > 2,457), dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dikarenakan pengaruh positif yang signifikan dengan adanya penerapan permainan cerita berantai dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas 8J Mts Sunan Drajat Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop valid, effective, and practical student worksheets based on scientific literacy. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development (R & D) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects used in this study were fourth-grade students, totaling 31 students. The instruments used in this study were learning instruments, student worksheets, and data collection instruments, namely validation questionnaires and teacher and student response questionnaires. The analysis of validity based on data filling in the instrument by expert and practitioner tests both in terms of design and material shows that the scientific literacy-based student worksheets are considered very valid. The practicality of student responses to the module includes several aspects. Namely, the instructions for using the module are obtained in an efficient category, and based on their effectiveness, they are obtained in a very effective category with effective category. Based on the results of data analysis shows that student learning outcomes in class IV.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Method to improve students' learning motivation in the Mutholaah subject. The background is the low learning motivation and students' dependence on memorizing textbook texts. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Cooperative Learning Method in improving the learning motivation of class VIII B Putri students at MTs Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. The methodology used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study involved 37 class VIII B Putri students. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using percentage calculations. The results showed an increase in students' learning motivation. In the first cycle, 30 students (81%) achieved very good criteria, 6 students (16%) good criteria, and 1 student (3%) poor criteria. The second cycle showed a significant increase with all 37 students (100%) achieving very good criteria. The conclusion is that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Method has proven effective in improving students' learning motivation in the Mutholaah subject, with an increase in performance from the first cycle to the second cycle

Abstract

This community service program strives to make Arabic language learning more effective and successful by utilizing Arabic sentence puzzle media. This activity employs the notion of Participatory Action Research (PAR), specifically combining research, education, and action with people who actively participate in the service activity process. This service activity involved 51 students from Thamavitya Mulniti School's Smart Arabic classes VIII and IX in Thailand. This service activity will be carried out from August to September 2024. As a result of this activity, students demonstrated excellent participation in Arabic learning, with an average evaluation score of 93.90, a median score of 95 and a frequently occurring score (mode) of 100. There were six students received a score between 80 and 85.6. eleven students who had scores ranging from 85.6 to 91.2. fourteen students received scores ranging from 91.2 to 96.8, while 23 received scores between 96.8 and 100. This is due to the fact that puzzle media requires students to learn both visually and tactically. Additionally, group learning enables students to collaborate and share knowledge with one another. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang efektif dan berhasil dengan menggunakan bantuan media puzzle kalimat bahasa Arab. Kegiatan ini menggunakan konsep Participatory Action Research (PAR) yaitu sebuah Penelitian Tindakan Partisipatif dengan menggabungkan penelitian, pendidikan, dan aksi dengan subjek yang berpartisipasi aktif selama proses kegiatan pengabdian. Subjek dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 51 siswa kelas VIII dan IX kelas Smart Arabic di Thamavitya Mulniti School, Thailand. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus hingga bulan September 2024. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, para siswa mampu mengikuti pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan sangat baik dengan hasil evaluasi nilai rata-rata sebesar 93,90 dengan nilai tengah 95 dan nilai yang sering muncul (modus) sebesar 100. Siswa yang mendapatkan nilai 80 sampai 85,6 sejumlah 6 orang, siswa yang mendapatkan nilai 85,6 sampai 91,2 sebanyak 11 siswa. 14 orang siswa mendapatkan nilai 91,2 sampai 96,8 dan 23 siswa mendapatkan nilai 96,8 sampai 100. Hal ini dikarenakan media puzzle memfasilitasi siswa bukan hanya belajar melalui visual namun juga taktis. Selain itu, pembelajaran berkelompok juga memungkinkan siswa untuk berkolaborasi dan berbagi pengetahuan satu sama lain.

Abstract

Metode eklektik dalam bahasa Arab memiliki nama “Thariqah Al-Intiqaiyyah” yang pada penerapannya, metode ini banyak menekankan pada keterampilan mendengar (maharat istima’), ketrampilan berbicara (maharat kalam), keterampilan membaca (maharat qiroah) dan keterampilan menulis (maharat kitabah). Metode eklektik muncul akibat ketidakpuasan para pemelajar terdahulu terhadap metode-metode lain yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Munculnya metode baru menggabungkan kekuatan dan menambal kelemahan metode lama. Sejarah mengenai metode pembelajaran bahasa asing terus berkembang dari tahun ke tahun. Kemunculan metode baru merupakan bentuk upaya dari para peneliti untuk melengkapi metode pembelajaran yang telah ada sebelumnya. Hal itu terus menerus dilakukan agar terciptanya pembelajaran bahasa yang sesuai dengan target dan tujuan pembelajaran bahasa tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan secara holistik dan mendalam terkait penerapan metode eklektik pada mata kuliah Al-Arabiyyah lil Muyassarah pada mahasiswa baru Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan di Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. Kesimpulannya Permasalahan pembelajaran yang dialami dan yang dirasakan partisipan adalah kurangnya kosakata bahasa Arab yang diketahui partisipan (41%), kurangnya motivasi belajar (24%), kesulitan menulis bahasa Arab dengan benar (22%), kesulitan menghafal kosakata bahasa Arab (9%) dan tulisan di papan tulis yang kurang jelas sebanyak 4%. Terakhir, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode eklektik cukup efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang variatif sehingga pembelajaran berjalan menyenangkan dan jauh dari rasa bosan.

Abstract

The research is quasi experiments that aim to know the influence of pre-quiz giving using NHT type cooperative learning model towards motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar. The independent variable are NHT type cooperative learning model with pre-quiz and without pre-quiz giving in cooperative learning model, and dependent variable are students’ motivation and achievement in chemical bonding main subject of learning. The population is whole student of X Grade SMAN 11 Makassar. The samples include two classes such as X2 as an experiment class with 36 students and X1 class as a control class with 34 students. The result of the research is obtained by giving motivation questionnaire and learning achievement test in chemical bonding subject which from as post-test and analyzed by using t-test. The result of inferential statistic analysis for learning motivation shows tcount (1,48) > ttable (1,828) at α= 0,05. And the result of inferential statistic for achievement test shows tcount (2,625) > ttable (1,674) at α= 0,05. According to the result of data analysis shows that pre-quiz in NHT type of cooperative learning model influences motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar in main subject of chemical bonding.

Abstract

This study investigates using a multimodal learning technique in teaching Arabic vocabulary to sixth-grade primary school pupils at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathlaul Anwar. Researchers employed a qualitative technique to understand better how a multimodal learning strategy is utilized to acquire Arabic. This study used both primary and secondary data. Primary data, collected directly from the source, consisted of classroom observations and in-depth interviews with the teacher and 36 sixth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathlaul Anwar. Secondary data is gathered from existing sources, including relevant literature, teaching materials, and student textbooks. The data analysis in this research uses Stevick's phenomenological method, focusing on understanding participants' subjective experiences. It involves collecting data through interviews, observations, and documents, then analyzing themes to interpret the meanings of participants' experiences. Observations and studies indicate that using multimodal learning to teach Arabic vocabulary at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathlaul Anwar offers significant benefits, notably improved student interest, memory, and language competency. Presenting information through multiple modalities, rather than just text, increases student engagement and motivation. Therefore, multimodal learning can effectively enhance Arabic language instruction in elementary schools. The study recommends that teachers incorporate diverse media, especially stimulating student senses, more frequently during lessons to achieve better language teaching outcomes.
