Abstract

This paper aimed at determining the principal’s supervision and school committee participation on the primary school’s performance in Pulau Rimau, Indonesia. The sample of this research is 40 elementary school teachers. Data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The results showed 1) there was positive influence of principal’s supervision on the primary school’s performance; 2) there was positive influence of school committee participation on the primary school’s performance; 3) there was positive influence of principal’s supervision and school committee participation together on the primary school’s performance in Pulau Rimau, Indonesia. This paper contributed to principal on improving supervision and committee on participation in order to have very good primary school’s performance. Where the school wishes to have good performance they should have good principal’s supervision and committee’s participation.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mempunyai misi membuktikan apakah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning adalah model pembelajaran yang efektif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia teks ulasan. Jenis pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa kegiatan  menulis teks ulasan tentang film “Dua Garis Biru” diawal dan diakhir proses penelitian. Data dianalisis dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, analisis deskriptif, uji hipotesis, dan uji -(t). Hasil nilai signifikasi uji normalitas 0,000 <0,005 dengan std.Error Mean kelas eksperimen lebih dari std.Error Mean kelas kontrol. Kemudian untuk uji homogenitas hasil menunjukkan nilai sig< 0,05 sehingga data homogen. Kemudian untuk uji -t nilai sig yakni 0,000. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai hasil belajar setelah menggunakan model Discovery Learning. maka H1 yang diterima artinya model pembelajaran Discovery Learning memberikan perbedaan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih meningkat dibandingkan kelas kontrol.  Kata Kunci : Discovery Learning, Teks Ulasan, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the types of student delinquency and preventive, repressive and curative actions in dealing with delinquency in SD Negeri 6 Pulau Rimau, Banyuasin. The data source of this study from 6 people, principal, 3 teachers and 2 student organizations. The method used descriptive qualitative and applied observation, documentation and interviews. The results showed that 1) the teacher's strategy in solving students' misbehavior is through struggles and countermeasures such as making school rules and penalties for students who do misbehavior; 2) the preventive action taken by the teacher is to always advise and remind the students of delinquency in school in advance. After that the teacher tries to motivate students not to do mischief again; 3) repressive actions taken by the teacher are by conducting guidance and direction as well as punishment with the aim of being able to discourage students; 4) curative action taken by both the teacher and the school as a healing attempt is to provide severe penalties to cooperate with the guardian's parents by calling to come to schoo; 5) the forms of juvenile delinquency in SD Negeri 6 Pulau Rimau were saying rude and dirty sentences, scribbling on school walls with inappropriate writing, not doing assignments, not keeping the school clean, conflicting with friends and damaging facilities school.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the planning and accountability as well as the benefits and impacts of the BOS funding program in SD Negeri 01 Pulau Rimau, Banyuasin. The data sources of this research were the principal, teachers and students of SD Negeri 01 Pulau Rimau. The method used qualitative and applied interviews, documentation and observation as instruments. The results showed that 1) BOS program planning was realized in the RAPBS; 2) the use of BOS funds has been carried out in accordance with the 2015 National Technical Guidelines used by schools; 3) accountability of BOS funds in the form of memorandum of purchase and maintenance of equipment as well as for payment of teacher honoraria at schools; 4) and the benefits and impacts of the BOS program for schools is that the learning process runs effectively by always improving the quality of facilities.

Abstract

this study aims to determine human resource management in improving the quality of education. The formulation of the problems in this research are: (1) how is human resource management in improving the quality of education?, (2) what are the obstacles faced in the implementation of human resource management in improving quality?, (3) what are the factors in the implementation of human resource management in improving the quality of education?, (4) how is the quality of education?. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that human resource management at SD Negeri 170 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), both in quality improvement, implementation, supporting factors and the quality of education had been running optimally

Abstract

This study aims to see the role of principals and teachers in improving the quality of learning at SMA Negeri 5 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of principal leadership and teacher professionalism in an effort to improve the quality of learning. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is 50 teachers. The data technique is done by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study illustrate that the role of principal ownership and teacher professionalism in an effort to improve the quality of learning in schools has been done as well as possible. This is with the shared role of the teacher in planning the Learning Implementation Plan that has been made and approved by the principal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian  ini untuk mendeskripsikan Struktur, Makna, Fungsi, Dan Nilai Budaya Dalam  Mantra Aji Pemikat. Dalam  mencapai validitasi, penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Melalui metode pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, rekam, pencatatatan, dan dokumentasi. Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian  ini adalah mantra Aji Pemikat yang dimiliki oleh dukun atau paranormal yang terdapat di Desa Margotani II Kecamatan Madang Suku II Kabupaten Oku Timur. Sumber data dalam  penelitian  ini adalah  penutur mantra yang terdapat yang terdapat di Desa Margotani II Kecamatan Madang Suku II Kabupaten Oku Timur. Makna yang muncul dari mantra Aji Pemikat yaitu penggunaan  mantra sebagai ilmu keluhuran. Fungsi mantra Aji Pemikat yaitu sesuai kegunaan mantra.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the preservation of Balinese spoken language in the Ngaben and Potong Gigi events in Nusa Raya Village, Belitang III District, East OKU Regency. The method used in this research was a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and recording techniques. The results showed that the preservation of Balinese spoken language at the Ngaben event consisting of (1) the family domain, (2) the work background domain, (3) the religion domain, (4) the customs domain, while the retention of Balinese spoken language at the Potong Gigi event consisted of (1) Sangkep activity / Traditional meeting, (2) the core activities of Metatah/Potong Gigi remained very well. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the preservation of Balinese spoken language in the Ngaben and Potong Gigi event in Nusa Raya Village, Belitang III District still survives well.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the structure and function of healing and charm spells in Makarti Jaya village, Banyuasin District. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data was 22 healing and charm spells which are taken from three informants. The data analysis used was content analysis. The results of this study indicated that not all spells mention a name component because some spells do not have a name element but still do not reduce the magical value of the spell, for a name is not a measure of whether the spell is effective. In the component of the opening greeting, The suggestions received in the analyzed spell are aimed at making the spell look pleasing. In the objective component, all spells have the same goal, which is to captivate the opposite sex. Whereas the closing element of all spells uses words from Arabic such as laillahailallah muhamadarasulullah. From the analysis of the seven healing spells and fifteen charm spells, it showed that the spell has a different structure and function according to the verse contained in the spell.

Abstract

AbstrakWabah virus corona menimbulkan akibat yang buruk bagi manusia. Berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia terganggu. Tak lepas juga di bidang pendidikan, dampaknya siswa mengikuti pembelajaran dari rumah. Dalam pembelajaran di rumah mempunyai hal yang positif dalam pendidikan karakter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yang pertama untuk mengetahui apakah proses pembelajaran di rumah mampu mengembangkan pendidikan karakter pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Kedua, nilai-nilai apa saja yang dikembangkan dari proses pembelajaran di rumah. Adanya dampak dari pembelajaran dirumah diantaranya terjalin komunikasi yang baik antara anak dan orang tua. Hal ini memberikan peluang untuk pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter seperti nilai religius, nilai disiplin, nilai kreatif, nilai mandiri, nilai tanggung jawab. Dengan tercapainya pengembangan nilai karakter ini merupakan keberhasilan guru, orang tua dan masyarakat dalam bekerjasama dalam mendidik anak dalam pandemi COVID-19.Kata kunci: belajar jarak jauh, pendidikan keluarga, nilai karakter AbstractThe corona virus outbreak has had dire consequences for humans. Various areas of human life are disturbed. In addition, in the field of education, the impact is that students take lessons from home. In learning at home it has positive things in character education. The purpose of this research is first to find out whether the learning process at home is able to develop character education in elementary school students. Second, what values are developed from the learning process at home. The impact of learning at home includes good communication between children and parents. This provides opportunities for the development of character values such as religious values, disciplinary values, creative values, independent values, and responsibility values. The achievement of this character value development is the success of teachers, parents and the community in working together in educatingchildren in the COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: distance learning, family education, character values
