Abstract

The people of Poktan Beriuk Maju, Jagaraga Village, are mostly farmers who own land with varying amounts of land, and have a minimum of 2 acres of yard land and many of them are empty, so they need to be used for home farming to help provide food independently. The existence of water sources from springs around settlements and water from shallow wells can also be used to support agricultural activities in the residential area of ​​each potential house. Apart from that, by utilizing limited water sources, such as water from shallow wells and springs around housing, it is an opportunity for the community to farm vegetables and the like to help with the community's daily kitchen needs. This service aims to train people to make multilevel drip irrigation so that they can later be used as a farming method in their home gardens. Before being trained, residents need to be given knowledge about efficient drip irrigation so that participants gain sufficient knowledge about irrigation because its application is very different from traditional irrigation. The service was carried out in the initial stages of survey, the stage of strengthening efficient irrigation, the training stage of making multi-level drip irrigation networks using PVC pipes with emitters, the land was filled with polybags filled with soil as a planting medium. Activities consist of outreach on irrigation and drip irrigation as well as training. This service has succeeded in providing knowledge about irrigation and drip water efficient irrigation at the Beriuk Maju Poktan. It has succeeded in building a multi-level drip irrigation network and is ready for farming use, and can be continued by applying it to horticultural crops as a medium for learning about residential farming.

Abstract

The people of Tibu Lilin Hamlet are a hamlet located in the hills south of Gumise Hamlet and located just to the north of Selamat Harbor. Along the village road are steep hillsides that have been used as villages, so the topography of this hamlet is very irregular. The community's water source during the rainy season comes from springs around the village in the form of water from springs, well water and seepage water from rock fragments on existing hillside cliffs. Meanwhile, during the dry season, most of the water sources dry up and only one or two locations have water with very minimal potential. Water shortages during the dry season are met by buying water from collectors who transport it by truck or tanker to Tibu Lilin Hamlet. Therefore, this service aims to educate the community about how to utilize limited water sources around the hills to help provide community water. The service was carried out in the stages of location coordination, location survey, outreach activities, discussion and question and answer as well as evaluation. Counseling was provided in the form of water storage methods, water storage tank methods and ways of managing water sources in mutual cooperation. This service has succeeded in providing the Tibu Lilin community with knowledge about water sources, how to collect water and manage water sources together. The community has been shown how to make water reservoirs and how to make pipe networks to channel water to the hamlet.

Abstract

Belanting Village is a settlement spanning 6,030 hectares located at the base of Mount Rinjani and situated at the easternmost tip of Lombok Island. The village boasts a picturesque landscape with rice fields and hills surrounding it. However, beneath this beauty, Belanting Village faces various challenges, one of which is natural disasters. This village falls within an area identified as prone to landslides according to Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2012 regarding the Spatial Plan of East Lombok Regency for the period 2012-2032. This is substantiated by a history of disasters covered by the mass media and testimonies from Belanting residents, ranging from flash floods, earthquakes, droughts, fires, and more. Given that a significant portion of the village's population consists of newcomers not accustomed to mountainous regions, there is a need to enhance the community's knowledge and understanding in facing disasters. It's crucial for them to know what actions to take, avoid, and how to ensure their safety in case of any unforeseen calamities. To address these challenges, the UNRAM PMD Community Service team has undertaken non-structural disaster mitigation measures. These activities are encompassed within a community service program known as "Kuliah Kerja Nyata" which spans 54 days from June 20th to August 12th, 2023, with 45 effective working days in Belanting Village, Sambelia Subdistrict, East Lombok Regency. The focus of this non-structural disaster mitigation is Belanting Village, identified as a disaster-prone area. The methodology utilized in this endeavor is divided into two phases: preparation and implementation, involving survei and field observation methods, as well as interviews, lectures, and discussions (question-and-answer sessions). The primary target audience for these activities is the general population of Belanting Village. The outcomes of these efforts include the creation of disaster-prone area maps and the determination of evacuation routes, the installation of evacuation signage, as well as the socialization and education on disaster mitigation for the residents of Belanting Village.

Abstract

Kuta Lombok, a tourism village located on the southern coast of Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara, has become a favorite destination for both domestic and international tourists due to its stunning natural beauty. However, this beauty is challenged by environmental issues such as waste pollution and damage to marine ecosystems. This article discusses efforts to build the local economy through beach clean-up actions and coral reef restoration in Kuta Tourism Village. The activities included surveys, observations, promotion, practice, and documentation. Beach clean-up and coral transplantation are part of environmental conservation efforts involving local partners, the local community, and school children. The beach clean-up focused on waste collection, while coral transplantation used web spider -type coral frames to facilitate coral growth. This community service activity is expected to have a sustainable positive impact on the environment and the local community.

Abstract

Model Mock adalah salah satu cara perhitungan aliran sungai dengan menggunakan curah hujan, evapotranspirasi, dan karakteristik hidrologi daerah pengaliran untuk menaksir besarnya debit sungai jika data yang tersedia tidak lengkap. Model Mock merupakan model simulasi yang relatif sederhana dan cukup baik dalam penaksiran debit sungai dengan interval waktu setengah bulanan. Dalam pengembangannya model ini banyak digunakan untuk aplikasi pengembangan sumberdaya air seperti irigasi dan penyediaan air baku. Perlu adanya studi untuk mengetahui parameter - parameter apa saja yang mempengaruhi besarnya aliran. Untuk menentukan berapa nilai parameter- parameter tersebut sebelumnya dilakukan analisis rerata curah hujan dengan menggunakan metode Polygon Thiessen karena data curah hujan tersebut digunakan sebagai data masukan pada Model Mock. Data-data tersebut diolah dengan cara coba - coba hingga didapatkan hasil parameter yang realistis yaitu nilai R dan VE. Kemudian hasil yang didapat tersebut diregresi dengan regresi linier berganda dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas pada microsof excel 2007 untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh parameter-parameter Model Mock terhadap besaran debit ketersediaan air di Wilayah Sungai Lombok. Hasil analisis dengan Model Mock dari tahun 2002 sampai dengan 2016 pada pos AWLR di Wilayah Sungai Lombok diperoleh besaran debit ketersediaan air yang dihasilkan oleh Model Mock lebih besar dibandingkan dengan besaran debit ketersediaan air yang diperoleh dari BISDA. Dari hasil analisis regresi linier berganda diperoleh persamaan BF = - (8,678E+14) + (1,283E+13)A – (3,38E+12)Eto + 0,097P - (2,746E+13)L dan DRO = - (6,699E+13) + (9,904E+11)A - (2,609E+11)Eto + 0,130P - (2,12E+12)L. Hal ini dapat menjelaskan bahwa variabel yang terdiri dari luas, evapotranspirasi, curah hujan, dan panjang sungai sangat berpengaruh terhadap besaran debit ketersediaan air. Dari analisis dengan Model Mock dapat diketahui bahwa parameter-parameter Model Mock seperti i, ISM, SMC, SS, dan k sangat berpengaruh terhadap besar maupun kecilnya debit ketersediaan air di Wilayah Sungai Lombok.

Abstract

Desa Setanggor dilewati oleh sebuah sungai yaitu Sungai Berampes yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai penyediaan air di musim kering melalui pengolahan kualitas air. Sebagian besar masyarakat di Desa Setanggor Kecamatan Praya Barat belum memanfaatkan dan terlayani oleh jaringan air bersih PDAM sehingga memanfaatkan air dari sumur bor komunal sebagai penghasil air baku sehari-hari. Namun, karena beberapa keterbatasan teknis dan non-teknis menyebabkan ketidakcukupan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari masyarakat sekitar. Akibatnya sebagian masyarakat mengalami kekurangan air bersih terutama di masa kemarau panjang. Hasil instalasi dan uji fungsi alat menggunakan sampel air dari sungai Berampes menghasilkan 4 dari 5 nilai parameter kualitas air yang sesuai dengan standar dari Permenkes 32/2017, kecuali temperatur. Oleh karena itu, disarankan lokasi dan waktu pengambilan sampel air serta perlakuan pra-pengujian mendapatkan perhatian dan porsi khusus dalam proses pengujian, selain jenis material gradasi partikel penyaringnya.

Abstract

Masyarakat Poktan Beriuk Maju Desa Jagaraga sebagian besar memiliki lahan pekarangan dengan luasan rata-rata sekitar 2- 4 are dan banyak lahan yang kosong. Sumber air dari sumur dangkal dan air saluran irigasi sering dimanfaatkan masyarakat, dan dengan adanya kemarau panjang kondisi sumber air semuanya menurun dan kritis. Memperhatikan potensi lahan pekarangan yang ada, maka warga perlu dibantu untuk meningkatkan manfaat pekarangan untuk usahatani disekitar rumah agar dapat merurunkan dampak ekonomi akibat kekeringan ini. Masyarakat peri diberi penyuluhan tentang irigasi yang efisien agar dapat mendukung usahatani di lingkungan perumahan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan irigasi yang efisien yaitu irigasi tetes untuk kegiatan pertanian di pekarangan rumah. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan tahapan survey lokasi, penyuluhan, diskusi dan tanya jawab serta evaluasi. Pengabdian ini telah menyuluhkan18 perwakilan Poktan Beriuk Maju, penyuluhan telah memberi wawasan penggunaan irigasi tetes dan cara irigasinya,memberikan contoh-contoh irigasi tetes dan bahan yang digunakan.Dengan demikian diharapkan Masyarakat nantinya dapat memilih system irigasi yang diperlukan dengan pertimbangan sumber air yang tersdia.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Segala Anyar merupakan masyarakat yang berada di perbukitan sebelah selatan Pelabuhan Lembar, dengan kondisi medan berlereng. Sebagian besar Masyarakat memiliki lahan pekarangan dan kebun walaupun tidak begitu luas dengan kondisi berterasering. Sumber air Masyarakat berasal dari Sumur bor di lahan pribadi. Memperhatikan potensi lahan usahatani warga dengan kondisi rata-rata datar dan musim kemarau kesulitan akan air irigasi, maka perlu diberikan pengetahuan bagaimana caranya memanfaatkan air terbatas untuk usahatani dengan sistem irigasi yang efisien seperti dengan pemanfaatan irigasi tetes. Masyarakat perlu diberi pengenalan cara irigasi tetes memberikan air pada tanaman dengan media tanam polybag yang sederhana , sehingga nantinya dapat dipilih sebagai alteratif dalam mendukung usahatani di musim kemarau pada sawah tadah hujan yang ada. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengenalan cara irigasi yang efisien dengan sistem tetes sehingga dapat mendukung kegiatan pertanian masyarakat sawah tadah hujan di desa Segala Anyar dan mendukung penyediaan bahan pangan kebutuhan KEK Mandalika. Tahapan pengabdian dilakukan terdiri dari survey lokasi, tinjauan lahan pertanian, pengenalan irigasi tetes, diskusi dan tanya jawab serta evaluasi. Pengabdian ini telah berhasil memberi pengetahuan penggunaan irigasi tetes pada 15 kelompok tani di Desa Segala Anyar, penyuluhan telah memberi wawasan dan pengenalan cara irigasi tetes memberikan air pada titik tanaman pada peserta. Dengan demikian diharapkan Masyarakat nantinya dapat memilih sistem irigasi yang mungkin dipilih disesuaikan dengan potensi sumber air yang tersedia.

Abstract

Selengen Village is one of the villages in North Lombok Regency that always experiences drought and lack of clean water every year. The problem of clean water availability is caused by limited water sources on the surface. The frequency of rainwater in Selengen Village is very small and with very low intensity. In order to meet the need for clean water, the community has to pay additional costs to buy clean water or wait for a drop from the government. The Selengan Village community has limited information regarding simple methods that can be used to collect clean water sourced from rainwater. The method used to introduce rainwater capture as a source of clean water is to provide direct outreach to the Selengen Village community about rainwater storage in the form of ABSAH (Artificial Aquifer for Rainwater Savings). The ABSAH method can be done individually or in groups. The socialization was carried out at the Panggung Barat Hamlet office involving the community consisting of farmer groups, community leaders, youth organizations and housewives. The result of the socialization regarding the introduction of artificial rainwater aquifers is the high desire of the community to create rainwater storage, either independently/individually or in groups. In the process of making it, the community hopes to get assistance from the implementation team so that the calculation of the storage volume is in accordance with the volume of water used. Apart from that, the community also hopes to be given drawings of storage designs, installations for collecting water from the roofs of houses and designs of distribution networks to people's homes.
