Abstract

Hypertension is a global health problem and is recognized as a major contributor to the burden of cardiovascular disease. The prevalence of hypertension continues to increase due to lifestyle changes such as smoking, obesity and psychosocial stress. It is important to educate people with hypertension to self-manage themselves at home. This community service activity aimed to provide health information about hypertension and self-management in the form of exercise and massage. This activity was attended by 30 Prolanis (Chronic Disease Management Program) participants at Johar Baru Health Center in Jakarta. There were 5 sessions in this activity: Session 1&2 for registration and measurement of physiological parameters, followed by cardiovascular exercises. Session 3 for health education about hypertension in general, then followed by next session on isometric exercises with a tennis ball and final session on of self-massage exercise. The evaluation done on this activity showed that the participants demonstrated isometric exercises and back massage techniques that can be carried out independently. Hypertensive patients are expected to be actively involved in Prolanis activities and conduct self-management intervention to maintain their blood pressure and prevent the complications.

Abstract

The increasing environmental impact of the cosmetics industry has led to a growing consumer interest in eco-friendly products. This study examines the purchase intentions of Indonesian millennials for green beauty products, focusing on the role of perceived values, which are functional, social, and emotional. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 190 millennials through an online survey and analyzed using SPSS 24. The results reveal that functional value, social value, and emotional value positively and significantly influence purchase intention. These findings underscore the importance of emphasizing product functionality, social contributions, and emotional engagement in marketing strategies. This research provides valuable insights for businesses seeking to align with sustainability goals and cater to environmentally conscious consumers. Future studies are encouraged to explore additional factors influencing green purchase behavior across diverse demographics and regions.

It can be said there are two actors of judicial power, namely the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court. The problem in this article is what is the position and authority of the Constitutional Court in the Indonesian constitutional law system. The Constitutional Court here has an equal and high position with the Supreme Court, which means that no one has a position below it. The authority of the Constituional Court is regulated in Article 24C paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution, among others, to decide on the dissolution of political parties, to give a decision on the opinion of the House of Representatives that the President and Vice President because they have violated the law in the form of bribery, betrayal of the state, commit corruption, other serious crimes or disgraceful acts, examine laws against the 1945 Constitution, decide disputes regarding election results, and decide on disputes over the authority of state institutions whose authority is granted by the 1945 Constitution.

Abstract

Usability testing plays a pivotal role in assessing user experience on websites, providing businesses with invaluable insights into customer perspectives. Eye-tracking, a widely accepted methodology, zeroes in on visual engagement by analyzing specific Areas of Interest (AOI). This study embarked on an exploration of the impact of AOI on dwell time for the latest iteration of the Waters website and further delineated the sections that captivated the most and least user attention. Adopting a quantitative stance, a two-way ANOVA was deployed on a sample comprising 15 master’s students from two distinct academic institutions. Preliminary findings underscore significant disparities in dwell times across different AOIs, implying that specific AOIs retain user attention more robustly. Notably, the research has its constraints, encompassing potential deviations in webcam-based eye-tracking accuracy, the modest sample size, and post-hoc AOI categorization. As an extension, subsequent studies could probe the nuanced factors swaying dwell time within Waters' website AOIs, integrating methodologies such as the WSD thnique and proactive AOI classification.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of background music in improving students' learning concentration through a literature review study. The results of previous studies show that background music can improve concentration. The first article used the Pretest Posttest Control Group Design method and found a significant difference with a calculated t value (3.100) greater than the t table (2.145). The fourth article used Quasi Experimental and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, showing a significant difference (p = 0.000). The seventh article, using qualitative methods, reported 83.3% of students agreed that music helps focus. However, the eighth article noted background music can improve mood but also increase cognitive load. In conclusion, background music, especially slow-tempo and instrumental, is effective in improving study concentration. Variations in effectiveness are due to music preference and learning context. Students and educators are advised to use background music that suits individual needs.
