Abstract

This study investigates the application of Ki Hajar Dewantara's ideas in the development of future learning models through a bibliometric approach. By analyzing 500 publications from Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science spanning the period 2014-2024, the study identifies key trends, highlights the contributions of leading researchers, and explores central themes in the related academic discourse. The findings reveal a significant increase in publications related to Dewantara's ideas, with a notable peak in 2023. Key topics identified include character education, independent curricula, and value-based learning. Additionally, the research underscores the global relevance of Dewantara's educational philosophy, aligning with the humanistic principles espoused by John Dewey and Paulo Freire. The implications for Indonesian education involve reinforcing the role of the Tri Center of Education and enhancing the integration of character values within the national curriculum. The study further recommends the development of technology-driven research and the adoption of hybrid learning models. Abstrak: Penelitian ini menyelidiki penerapan gagasan Ki Hajar Dewantara dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran masa depan melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Dengan menganalisis 500 publikasi dari Google Scholar, Scopus, dan Web of Science yang mencakup periode 2014-2024, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tren utama, menyoroti kontribusi peneliti terkemuka, dan mengeksplorasi tema-tema sentral dalam diskursus akademik terkait. Temuan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam publikasi yang berkaitan dengan gagasan Dewantara, dengan puncak yang mencolok pada tahun 2023. Topik-topik utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi pendidikan karakter, kurikulum mandiri, dan pembelajaran berbasis nilai. Selain itu, penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi global dari filosofi pendidikan Dewantara, yang sejalan dengan prinsip humanistik yang diajarkan oleh John Dewey dan Paulo Freire. Implikasi untuk pendidikan Indonesia mencakup penguatan peran Tri Center of Education dan peningkatan integrasi nilai karakter dalam kurikulum nasional. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan pengembangan riset berbasis teknologi dan adopsi model pembelajaran hybrid.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of non-formal education in strengthening students' moral character through programs at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Karimah. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that curriculum optimization and the implementation of programs like Thursday Berinfaq, Friday Berkah, and gender-based activities significantly contribute to character development among students. Additionally, teachers serve as essential role models, facilitating the internalization of moral values in students' everyday lives. These findings underscore the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and teachers to support effective and sustainable moral education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Budi Pekerti in the Merdeka Curriculum related to the development of national character. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis techniques on Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti textbooks from primary to secondary education levels. Data were collected through documentation techniques which included identifying, recording, and classifying relevant information. Data analysis was conducted by following six phases of content analysis which include unitizing, sampling, recording, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The main findings of the study show that each phase in the Merdeka Curriculum progressively teaches national character values, such as respect for human dignity, love for the country, democracy, social solidarity, and a just and prosperous society. The PAI and Budi Pekerti teaching materials successfully integrate these values in the context of character education, which is expected to form a generation that is noble, responsible, and sensitive to differences. This research makes an important contribution to the development of more effective teaching materials to instill the spirit of nationalism among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran “Tarbiyah” di SD Saqu Mutiara Bandung untuk mewujudkan generasi berakhlak Qur’ani, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya pada siswa. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Pembelajaran “Tarbiyah” di sekolah ini dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tahapan perencanaan berbasis kurikulum khusus yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam mata pelajaran seperti aqidah, hadis, do’a, dan adab. Pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode hafalan, talqin, ceramah, dan pembiasaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dengan evaluasi berkala secara lisan dan tertulis. Faktor pendukung pembelajaran ini adalah pembiasaan perilaku baik, dukungan keluarga, dan komunikasi yang efektif melalui buku penghubung antara guru dan orang tua. Adapun tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keberagaman karakter siswa dan motivasi rendah dalam menghafal di rumah, yang diatasi melalui pendekatan yang kreatif untuk menjaga antusiasme siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dampak positif pembelajaran “Tarbiyah” dalam membentuk karakter Islami, di mana siswa mampu memahami dan menerapkan nilai-nilai Qur’ani dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan berbasis nilai Qur’ani, menjadi panduan bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam membentuk generasi yang cerdas akademis dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This study investigates a comprehensive approach to strengthening character education by integrating governance, Islamic values, and school culture in primary education. Conducted over one year in nine public elementary schools in West Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia, this study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative descriptive and descriptive quantitative designs. Qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, while quantitative data were obtained via questionnaires to evaluate the implementation of governance programs in character education. The study involved nine principals and 135 teachers as participants, with students observed during program implementation. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis for qualitative data, identifying recurring themes and patterns related to governance and school culture. Descriptive statistics, including scoring and average calculations, were used to assess the implementation of governance programs for quantitative data. The findings reveal that well-structured governance, characterized by clear policies and coherent program designs, is pivotal in fostering a school culture conducive to character development. The integration of Islamic values, including Shiddiq (truthfulness), Amanah (trustworthiness), Tabligh (effective communication), and Fathonah (wisdom), significantly enhances these efforts. Active community engagement and continuous evaluation were also identified as critical factors. This study underscores the necessity of a holistic governance framework that involves all stakeholders, providing actionable insights to enhance character education in elementary schools and develop students who excel academically while upholding strong moral integrity.

Abstract

Religious tolerance is a fundamental value that sustains social harmony in a diverse society like Indonesia. Pesantren, particularly the Salafiyyah Al-Muthmainnah Islamic boarding school, as an educational institution emphasizing traditional Islamic teachings through the kitab kuning (classical Islamic texts), plays a strategic role in instilling the value of religious tolerance among its students to face the challenges of pluralism in society. Despite the absence of specific subjects on religious tolerance in the pesantren curriculum, students encounter the challenge of understanding how to implement tolerance in daily life. This issue makes it intriguing to explore how religious tolerance values are applied in this pesantren. This research examines the implementation of religious tolerance values in Pesantren Salafiyyah Al-Muthmainnah. Employing a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with informants at the pesantren, using a triangulation approach. The analysis involved comparing observations and interviews, focusing on the learning processes, and applying religious tolerance values at Pesantren Salafiyyah Al-Muthmainnah. The findings reveal that Pesantren Al-Muthmainnah successfully implements religious tolerance values through the teaching of kitab kuning, wise instruction on differences in Islamic schools of thought (madhab), and community activities that reflect respect for diversity, both within the Muslim community and among followers of different religions. Therefore, despite its foundation in classical Islamic traditions, Pesantren Al-Muthmainnah serves as a solid platform for fostering religious tolerance values and significantly contributes to creating a harmonious society.   Keywords: Religius Tolerance, Pesantren Salafiyyah, Kitab Kuning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman siswa tentang pernikahan dan seks bebas dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) serta mengeksplorasi strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan seks dalam pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan dua orang guru PAI dan enam siswa kelas XII dari salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa tentang pernikahan didasarkan pada nilai-nilai agama, tanggung jawab spiritual, dan komitmen jangka panjang, sementara seks bebas dipandang sebagai risiko moral, sosial, dan kesehatan. Guru PAI memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk pemahaman ini melalui penggunaan pendekatan kreatif seperti Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan teknologi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan beragama dalam ekstrakurikuler remaja masjid dengan pendekatan mixed methods. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sebelumnya belum terfokus pada pengembangan kecerdasan beragama. Evaluasi menunjukkan siswa mencapai tingkat "Cerdas Beragama," yang mengindikasikan bahwa program ini efektif dalam membentuk akhlak mulia. Keberhasilan pembelajaran didukung oleh dua faktor utama, yaitu materi yang substantif dan analisis kebutuhan siswa melalui jurnal harian mereka.Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan beragama dapat membantu siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai agama dan mempraktikkan akhlak mulia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui program ini, siswa diajarkan nilai-nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, empati, dan interaksi sosial yang santun. Dengan demikian, program ini berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter religius dan bermoral serta mendukung institusi pendidikan dalam mencetak generasi yang berintegritas dan mampu menghadapi tantangan di era modern

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the concept of Manajemen Qolbu at Pondok Pesantren Daarut Tauhiid Bandung to enhance the inner peace of elderly students in the Golden Age Pesantren Program. This research employs a mixed method, involving 20 elderly students from PMK Batch 67, aged between 45 and 80 years. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and open-ended questionnaires. Based on the analysis of the obtained data, it was found that the implementation of Manajemen Qolbu at PMK Daarut Tauhiid has a significant positive impact on the inner peace of elderly students. As many as 74% of the students reported improved emotional management, 85-90% experienced better inner peace, and 57.1% felt stronger in facing life's challenges. This program also contributed to the enhancement of the quality of worship and spiritual closeness to Allah, with 78% of participants feeling closer to God after participating in the program. This research concludes that Manajemen Qolbu not only helps the elderly overcome anxiety and fear but also empowers them to lead a more meaningful life. Recommendations from this study include the application of the concept of Manajemen Qolbu in Islamic educational institutions to expand its benefits, particularly for the elderly in society, as well as developing more systematic and sustainable programs to support the inner well-being of the elderly.
