Learning mathematics in depth has implications for the quality of achievement. However, students do not apply their best, or even the habit has not formed a consistent. This study aims to interpret how the correspondence between students' learning habits and their mathematics achievement. This observational research was conducted using the correlation technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires and tests from 30 students in one school in Karawang district. One subgroup is selected from a specified vocational school. The data distribution was analyzed, followed by analyzing the regression equation, and correlation analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, stated that the data is normally distributed, the regression is linear with a positive coefficient, and the correlation is significant. The results concluded that there was a relationship between learning habits and students' achievement. Research findings are also discussed. Changes in learning habits on mathematics achievement are estimated at 10%. This number can be said to be an indication of a relatively slow change. Therefore, if new pattern learning habits are implemented to students, for example through changes to the education curriculum, and with relatively slow approximated, then it is ideal when the impact on students' achievement is not yet very significant.

The cognitive level between teachers and students is clearly different in problem-solving. In the mathematics context, especially the function problem was only in geometric expression form, for knowledge construction and student's learning should use their cognitive level capacity. Not only the solving process is based on that, but also learning should be efficient for all students, and analyzing those processes is the purpose of identification inefficient issues in this study. This investigative study was held on three respondents purposively selected from a science program of senior high school in West Jakarta, Indonesia. This study found that in the solving process, all students chose to construct an algebraic representation of the function by organizing concepts relevant to fragmented conceptualization. The process has held to apply each concept procedurally. There has been a resource and that is one concept of the domain of function, so the completion is an inefficient process because all three students were ignoring it to use. All three process for solving to the student’s academic culture, most common for emphasizing in learning related to the problem and their cognitive capacity.

The acquisition of knowledge assists students in navigating life, but their skill configuration is unstable when confronted with contextual problems. The fact that they make problem-solving errors is a stability problem that stems from existential situations. This study examined students' errors in solving contextual math word problems. The respondents were 36 Jakarta junior high school students. This work employs an existential design informed by phenomenology to lessen the connection between the model and error-causing. Newman's strategy found various types of errors. The researchers then investigated the error model and the root causes of the detected errors through interviews. According to the ontological investigation, seven correspondences were discovered between the error models and the causative factors, namely comprehension, transformation, and process skills, so that the origin of occurrences remained unchanged. Deficiencies in process skills cause the majority of correspondence. The phenomenological reduction of the correspondence demonstrates that students are not always engaged in higher-order thinking and tend to concentrate on the procedural knowledge learning process. It can be concluded that the learning process must encourage students' higher-order thinking. When students learn and gain experience through misunderstandings and transformations, they will demonstrate constructive efforts and computational thinking by troubleshooting the problem-solving strategy.

During the pandemic, education faces the problem of learning loss, however online academic activities can assist. This research addresses cognitive and affective online-academic engagement. This quantitative research of 208 students at private universities in Jakarta uses an observational technique and an explanatory design. This study analyzes the measurement and structural model of the relationship between factors from the emotional intelligence aspects and self-regulated learning in the flipped classroom context. The research findings indicate that students' cognitive and affective engagement is on track, as determined by their task persistence which can be established through effort and performance evaluation when completing the assignment. Effort and evaluation begin with self-awareness as a foundation for orientation and commitment. This study paves the way for further investigation of other findings that indicate the need to allocate and optimize time during pre-class activities while educating and encouraging students' persistence. Without tremendous effort and evaluation on the part of students, time on task for work can result in low-quality performance. These findings could drive teachers to construct engaging lesson plans by incorporating emotional intelligence and self-regulated learning prior class.

Functional analysis has been of interest and the thinking of students should be prepared. Analyzing the process of conceptualizing geometric function problem solving based on the dimensions of cognitive processes and knowledge was the purpose of this study. The subjects of this study were three students selected purposively from one of the secondary schools in Indonesia. Exploration of these studies with constant comparative techniques. The results of the data analysis show that the cognitive processes that operate and the knowledge applied by students focus on the conceptualization of algebraic representations. Based on the conceptualization process, students' conceptual systems are still fragmented because of the problem of the relationship between the concept and the basis of its relationship. As a result, procedural knowledge is more dominant.
