Abstract

Chongraksat Wittaya School Pattani, Thailand, is one of the most prominent Islamic schools in Pattani, Southern Thailand. This school has a dualism of management, including the applied curriculum, namely the religious and academic curriculum. Although the Thai kingdom regulates these two curricula, schools can adapt to their needs for religious curricula. This article examines the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum at Chongraksat Wittaya School Pattani, Thailand. It uses a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach with data collecting from interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Then, data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, model data, and conclusions. The results showed that the Chongraksat Wittaya school implemented an integrated curriculum, namely the religious curriculum (Sassanah), which contained Dirasah Islamiyah, and the academic curriculum (Saman) included general subject matter. This school has regular classes and special classes. Curriculum planning is carried out together with Village Experts at the beginning of each semester. The curriculum is implemented with 40% of the religious curriculum (Sassanah) and 60% of the academic curriculum (Saman). Evaluation is carried out by briefings, daily meetings, early semester meetings, and annual meetings. Student learning is in the form of numeric and descriptive. The evaluation of the model uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model.

Abstract

Students' difficulty in understanding English language as a subject usually leads to poor learning outcomes. The problem is, however, observed to be getting worse due to the unavailability of suitable learning media for educators and students. This research was, therefore, conducted to develop an English for Beginner pocketbook media to improve student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, pocketbook media is an alternative packaging of information through the use of user efficiency elements. This research was developed based on the Borg & Gall model with the data collected using questionnaires, tests, and documentation and analyzed through Independent Sample T-test. The results showed the sig. (2-tailed) < sig. level (0,000 < 0.05), therefore, Ha was accepted while H0 was rejected. It was discovered that average students learning outcomes increased to 83,4 and learning completeness by 83.33% after receiving the treatment in the form of the English for Beginner pocketbook media. This shows this material is feasible to be implemented as a learning medium due to its effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of MI Masaran 1 Trenggalek.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the management of optimizing services to the community at nonformal education institutions and provide a role model for managers of community learning centers. This research was conducted at Tunas Pratama Community Learning Center in Blitar with a descriptive qualitative method using a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that the management of optimizing services to the community at nonformal education institution at Tunas Pratama Community Learning Center includes four strategies; 1) systematic planning with various activities that promote courage in making decisions; 2) organizing by division of labor based on the responsibilities of each section wrapped in a family culture and organizational climate; 3) implementation of programs with various initiatives that are adaptive to policies, technological advances, integrated psychology, and mental health education and establish many relationships; 4) program supervision is carried out massively, both directly and indirectly, which requires the direct involvement of a leader.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of online learning and teacher strategies in improving students' critical thinking skills in PAI subjects at SMPN 1 Sumbergempol Tulungagung and SMPN 3 Tulungagung. The research method is qualitative. The research approach is phenomenological. The type of research is field research. The research design was a multi-site study. Data were obtained by in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The research data is then organized into categories, described into units, synthesized, arranged into patterns, selected priority data, and made conclusions so that they are easy to understand. The results showed that WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet, One Drive, Google Form, and Microsoft Office 365 teachers were integrated. The strategy used by the teacher is to design learning and implementation of learning that directs critical thinking. The teacher sharpens thinking levels from C1, C2,3 to C4, C5, C6. The task given is to find material from the internet and analyze it. Students will use critical, analytical, comparative, selective and creative reasoning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis religious culture di SD IIS PSM Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada lembaga pendidikan di SD IIS PSM Kediri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan keabsahan data yang digunakan melalui ketekunan pengamatan, diskusi dengan teman sejawat, trianggulasi sumber, metode dan waktu. Adapun hasil penelitin dari pengembangan kurikulum berbasis religious culture di SD IIS PSM Kediri adalah terwujudnya nilai karakter islami yang membudaya di lingkungan sekolah melalui pembiasaan sehari-hari. Pengadaan rapor Syafawi untuk mengontrol pelaksanaan religious culture menjadi penguat bagi siswa untuk melaksanakan religious culture berupa pelaksanaan adab-adab di seluruh ruangan di sekolah. Religious culture juga menjadi salah satu prioritas sekolah yang membuat sekolah tersebut berbeda dengan sekolah lainnya hingga menarik minat pasar pendidikan yang dapat dibuktikan dari hasil survey menunjukkan 90% walimurid memilih sekolah tersebut karena memiliki pengembangan kurikulum relious culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum K13 untuk SD/MI. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus yang berusaha untuk menggambarkan suatu keadaan saat ini dalam implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum K13 yang ditunjukan untuk SD/MI sebagai tombaknya pendidikan utama disatuan lembaga pendidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan keabsahan data yang digunakan melalui ketekunan pengamatan, diskusi, trianggulasi sumber, metode dan waktu. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah tentang implementasi PPK dalam program yang terdapat di kurikulum K13 berbasis pendidikan karakter, dimana tujuan dari kurikulum K13 berbasis karakter ini adalah untuk dapat mengembangkan pendidikan karakter tersebut pada diri setiap peserta didik, selain itu dapat mempertinggi mental, moral budi pekerti dan memperkuat keyakinan beragama, mempertinggi kecerdasan dan keterampilan, serta dapat membina dan mengembangkan fisik yang kuat dan sehat pada diri peserta didik, dan nantinya dapat terwujudnya nilai karakter sesuai dengan yang diharapkan oleh lembaga pendidikan dan para orang tua wali. Peendidikan karakter yang islami dan ber-moral.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan di abad 21 mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat seiring perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju. Salah satunya terlihat dari sistem penilaian yang sebelumnya bersifat tradisional berubah menjadi penilaian yang autentik. Penilaian autentik bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan peserta didik baik dari aspek afektif, kognitif, maupun psikomotorik. Pada pelaksanaannya masih banyak yang mengalami kendala. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penilaian autentik pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV MI Unggulan Al Falah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV MI unggulan Al Falah guru telah melaksanakan penilaian autentik. Penilaian autentik yang dilakukan dapat ditinjau dari 3 aspek, yaitu perencanaan penilaian, pelaksanaan penilaian, dan pengolahan hasil penilaian. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan menyusun RPP yang di dalamnya terlampir instrumen penilaian. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes tulis, proyek, dan unjuk kerja. Pada tahap pelaksanan, sebagian penilaian belum sesuai dengan rancangan yang dibuat. Adapun pengolahan penilaian autentik dilakukan setiap akhir semester.Abstract: Education in the 21st-century has developed rapidly in this advanced era. One of them is the assessment system that was previously traditional, turning into an authentic assessment. Authentic assessment aims to determine the students’ ability from the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects. However, there are still many obstacles in its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of authentic assessment in thematic learning of class IV, Islamic Elementary (MI) Superior Al Falah. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data were analysed using Miles and Huberman’s analysis technique. The results showed that the teacher implemented an authentic assessment in the thematic learning. Such assessment could be viewed from three aspects, namely the planning, the implementation, and the processing of the assessment results. The planning stage was done by compiling the lesson plans with the assessment instruments. The assessment instruments included an observation sheet, a written test, a project, and performances. In the implementation stage, some of the assessments were not in accordance with the design made. The processing of the results of the authentic assessment was carried out at the end of each semester.

Abstract

This article examines the issue of dialectical Islam with local culture in Indonesia, which eventually forms a distinctive and unique variant of Islam, as well as the acculturation of Aswaja values and Javanese Islam. Indonesian Islamic State Universities (UIN) are part of the component that forms a nationalist and religious generation. Undeniably, it is free from the Islamic variant of the times. The variant of Islam is not Islam which is separated from its purity, but Islam, which is acculturated with local culture. The study's mixed-method results showed that 72.4% of Aswaja's values influenced the formation of moderate thinking. Meanwhile, 42% of Javanese Islam also contributes to Moderate Islamic thought. As a variant of cultural Islam in Indonesia, Javanese Islam tends to be syncretic with its distinctive traditions. It can be seen in the dialectic of religion and culture, such as the “Grebek Pancasila”, the early Genduri of a sermon, and Wayang performances. Its substance is to transform the prophetic spirit of the teachings of monotheism while preserving local culture. Javanese Aswaja and Islamic values struggle with the realities of modernity and globalization. In this context, it can be seen how the response of groups of Islamic organizations, particularly the moderate Islam Rahmatan Lil Alamin. Artikel ini mengkaji persoalan dialektika Islam dengan budaya lokal di Indonesia yang pada akhirnya membentuk varian Islam yang khas dan unik, serta akulturasi nilai-nilai Aswaja dan Islam Jawa. Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) di Indonesia merupakan bagian dari komponen yang membentuk generasi nasionalis dan agamis, yang tidak bisa dipungkiri terbebas dari varian Islam zaman. Varian Islam bukanlah Islam yang lepas dari kemurniannya, melainkan Islam yang berakulturasi dengan budaya lokal. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode campuran menunjukkan bahwa 72,4% nilai Aswaja mempengaruhi pembentukan berpikir moderat. Sementara itu, 42% Islam Jawa juga berkontribusi pada pemikiran Islam Moderat. Sebagai varian Islam budaya di Indonesia, Islam Jawa cenderung sinkretis dengan tradisi khasnya. Hal ini terlihat dalam dialektika agama dan budaya, seperti “Grebek Pancasila”, Genduri awal ceramah, dan pertunjukan wayang. Substansinya adalah mentransformasikan semangat profetik dari ajaran tauhid sekaligus melestarikan budaya lokal. Aswaja Jawa dan nilai-nilai Islam berjuang dengan realitas modernitas dan globalisasi. Dalam konteks ini, terlihat bagaimana respon kelompok ormas Islam, khususnya Islam moderat, Rahmatan Lil Alamin.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the views of policymakers, the concept of integration in scientific development, and the strategy of integrating da’wah spirit of Walisongo with science in the Indonesian National Qualification Frameworks (KKNI) based curriculum. The results of this study indicate that: (1) stakeholders states that spirit of Walisongo’s dakwah has been used as values in science development by some academics, although it has not been fully understood because some academics still see it as a myth. The spirit of institutional management should match with the institution name itself, otherwise, there will be management error; (2) the concept of integration in KKNI-based curriculum in three institutions has similarities in general. However, there are distinctive characteristics in developing scientific knowledge based on the vision and core values of each institution; (3) the strategy of integrating the spirit of Walisongo is reflected in evaluating aspects: (a) institutions, by building interconnections, tag line or owner’s quote, piety bureaucracy (clean and clear), (b) human resources development, and (c) academic integration through Islamic subject with science and technology, halal laboratories, and Islamic law.Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pandangan pengambil kebijakan, konsep integrasi dalam pengembangan ilmiah, dan strategi mengintegrasikan semangat dakwah Walisongo dengan ilmu pengetahuan dalam kurikulum berbasis Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) pemangku kepentingan berpendapat bahwa semangat dakwah Walisongo telah digunakan sebagai nilai dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan beberapa akademisi, tetapi belum sepenuhnya dipahami karena masih ada beberapa warga akademik yang menganggapnya sebagai mitos. Semangat manajemen kelembagaan harus sesuai dengan nama lembaga tersebut, jika tidak maka ada kesalahan manajemen, (2) konsep integrasi dalam kurikulum berbasis KKNI di tiga lembaga memiliki kesamaan pada umumnya tetapi memiliki karakteristik khusus dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan ilmiah berdasarkan visi dan nilai-nilai inti lembaga. (3) Strategi memadukan semangat Walisongo tercermin dari mengevaluasi aspek-aspek yaitu: a) institusi dengan cara membangun interkoneksi, slogan atau falsafah pendirinya, birokrasi kesalehan (bersih dan jelas), b) pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dan c) integrasi akademik melalui mata pelajaran Islam dengan sains dan teknologi, laboratorium halal, dan hukum Islam.

Abstract

The charges with covered mission in terms of local wisdom such as mysticism, sacralization, Javanese and ancestor gods are exaggerated perspective. Through Anthropological studies of sacred, mythology and local wisdom is elaborated on the meaning and relevance to the public ritual actions in Pasuruan Regency with the attempt to build harmony and interaction between local culture and Islam. This study focused on the dynamical of relationship between religion and social religious culture interactions among groups in society through religious symbols system. Every religious tradition includes sacred symbols with which the person conducting a series of measures to shed beliefs in the form of ritual, reverence and servitude. Hindu communities in the mountains Pasuruan region have been driven to assimilate with Muslim population. But the religion which is embraced by the majority of the population are nominal Muslims, but confounds the Tengger and Javanese-style ritual, because the vast majority of Muslims there refused to form a more strict Islamic piety is identified with a culture that does not fit to the culture of Java, in contrast to Muslims Pasuruan in the lowlands because much dominated by the descendants of Madura, the Islamization can continue to do without having to harm the local culture, which in turn would foster against-Islam movement. Tuduhan terhadap misi terselubung dalam istilah kearifan lokal seperti mistisisme, sakralisasi, kejawen, dan sesembahan lelulur merupakan cara pandang yang berlebihan. Melalui studi Antropologi tentang sakralisasi, mitologi, dan kearifan lokal ini dipaparkan makna dan relevansinya terhadap tindakan ritual masyarakat kabupaten Pasuruan dengan upaya membangun wajah dalam harmoni dan interaksi antara budaya lokal dan Islam. Kajian ini menitikberatkan pada dinamika hubungan antara agama dan berbagai kelompok sosio religio kultural melalui interaksi antar kelompok di dalam masyarakat melalui simbol-simbol religius. Setiap tradisi keagamaan memuat simbol-simbol suci yang dengannya orang melakukan serangkaian tindakan untuk menumpahkan keyakinan dalam bentuk melakukan ritual, penghormatan dan penghambaan. Masyarakat Hindu di wilayah Pasuruan pegunungan telah terdorong untuk berasimilasi dengan penduduk muslim. Namun agama Islam yang dipeluk oleh sebagian besar penduduk adalah Islam nominal namun mencampur adukkan gaya ritual Tengger dan Kejawen, karena mayoritas Muslim di sana menolak bentuk kesalehan Islam yang lebih ketat yang diidentifikasi dengan kebudayaan yang tidak njawani, berbeda dengan muslim pasuruan di dataran rendah karena banyak didominasi oleh keturunan Madura, maka Islamisasi dapat terus dilakukan tanpa harus mencederai kebudayaan lokal yang pada akhirnya justru menyuburkan gerakan anti-Islam.
