Abstract

This study aims to portray the academic procrastination behavior experienced by the 11th grade students of SMA N 11 Semarang. The results of the identification are expected to describe the level of academic procrastination of students in class XI SMA N 11 Semarang. This research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative type that will produce a complete description of the research results. This research approach aims to describe the level of academic procrastination of students, the population of the study is the XI grade students of SMA N 11 Semarang totaling 96 students. The sample collection technique in this study is simple random sampling technique. "Simple random sampling technique" is a simple technique because taking sample members from the population is done randomly without seeing and paying attention to the equality or strata that exist in the population". The results of calculating the academic procrastination scale score with a study subject of 96 students in class XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. Researchers found that students who entered the very low classification amounted to 0 with a percentage of 0%, in the low classification there were 14 students with a percentage of 38.5%, in the medium classification there were 45 students with a percentage of 46.9%, in the high classification there were 37 students with a percentage of 14.6%.

Abstract

Learning Burnout Behavior is a condition where a person mentally experiences learning saturation, resulting in students experiencing a loss of motivation to learn. This background is done by the author because of the existence of learning burnout behavior. Researchers conducted this study to determine the level of learning burnout behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri Semarang. The research method used descriptive quantitative research with observational descriptive research conducted on class XI students with a simple random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that students from 108 students of class XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang are in a high position with a percentage of 55% with 59 students and a low percentage of 45% with 49%. This result shows that the students of class XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang are in a high position

Abstract

English: This research aims to find out the role of guidance and counseling teachers in increasing student discipline in the teaching and learning process at Semarang Pharmacy Vocational School. This type of research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Then the data analysis technique used is data reduction to require depth of insight. After that, the data is described or called data presentation. Next, the data is processed properly so that researchers can draw conclusions. The subjects in this research were 33 students in class X Hospitality at the Semarang Pharmacy Foundation Vocational School. The technique for testing the validity of the data in this research uses triangulation by asking the same thing from different sources. The results of this research conclude that the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important for students in improving discipline. This is in line with the function of guidance and counseling, namely helping students to develop optimally in accordance with developments and demands that occur in the environment. Suggestions that researches can convey. Indonesia: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan kedisilinan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di SMK Pharmasi Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Kemudian teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data untuk memerlukan kedalaman wawasan. Setelah itu, data tersebut diuraikan atau disebut penyajian data. Selanjutnya data tersebut diolah dengan baik agar peneliti dapat menarik kesimpulan. Subjek dalam peenelitian ini adalah 33 siswa di kelas X Perhotelan SMK yayasan Pharmasi Semarang. Teknik uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi dengan menanyakan hal yang sama dengan sumber yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Peran Guru bimbingan dan konseling sangat penting bagi siswa dalam meningkatkan kedisilinan. Hal ini senada dengan fungsi bimbingan dan konseling yaitu membantu peserta didik agar dapat berkembang secara optimal sesuai dengan perkembangan dan tuntutan yang terjadi di lingkungan. Saran yang dapat peneliti sampaikan.

Abstract

In the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, teachers are required to be closer and understand students in depth, this is because learning focuses on the needs of students. Through differentiated learning, teachers are expected to have good social-emotional skills (KSE), not only when teaching but also when interacting outside the classroom. This also applies to education staff, who are expected to be able to show empathy, manage emotions, and build positive relationships. Thus, in the educational process not only develops academic abilities but also students' social and emotional skills (KSE), which include; emotional management, empathy, and the ability to collaborate, which are important for the future success of students. Unfortunately, there are still many challenges in school, such as a lack of ability to recognize emotions, establish healthy relationships, and make wise decisions. Therefore, KSE training for educators and education personnel is important. With the methods of discussion, lectures, questions and answers, and brainstorming, this training aims to improve the understanding and skills of educators and education staff. As a result, there is an increase in teachers' perception of understanding and social-emotional skills, which is characterized by educators being able to develop ideas in order to be inspirational role models and develop ideas in creating an environment that supports positive development, as well as building the future of students by always implementing social-emotional skills.

Abstract

This study focuses on the factors that affect the cheating behavior of students at SMKN 10 Semarang with the number of subjects in this study as many as 15 people, including 11 students and 4 teachers. This study uses a qualitative approach to case studies. Toobtain data in this study, interviews were used. The results of the research obtained are factors that affect the cheating behavior of SMKN 10 Semarang students, including parental demands, procrastination, lack of understanding of the material, opportunities, peers. To guidance and counseling teachers to be more serious about overcoming and guiding students who behave in cheating behavior by using various services and approaches. It also provides more educational and appropriate punishments/sanctions to students, which aims to show student awareness. It is recommended to guidance and counseling teachers to coordinate and cooperate with school principals, homeroom teachers, subject matter teachers and parents/guardians to deal with students who behave cheating.

Abstract

In 2020-2023. The issue of high school dropouts at SMA Negeri 2 Sigi increased, causing impacts such as declining school accreditation, a decrease in the number of students, and operational aid. This research aims to build an early prediction system for student dropouts using Machine Learning (ML). In this study, data from 200 students were used. With 16 students labeled as dropout. The results showed a model accuracy of 0.942 and an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.948. the factors most influencing student droppout are average grades, meeting targets, and father’s education leve.

Abstract

Pendidikan berasrama merupakan sistem pendidikan yang didasarkan atas pertimbangan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang lebih utuh, yang mencakup cipta, rasa, karsa, dan karya sehingga menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya unggul dalam berpikir tetapi juga berkepribadian mulia. Pendidikan berasrama dapat menerapkan program pendidikan yang komprehensif-holistik mencakup keagamaan, pengembangan akademik, life skills (soft skills dan hard skills), wawasan kebangsaan dan membangun wawasan global. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ada untuk mengetahui Penerapan Kurikulum Pendidikan Berasrama untuk meningkatkan Karakter Mahasiswa PPG khususnya kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki praktik pendidikan melalui siklus tindakan yang berulang melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan dalam program kehidupan berasrama bagi mahasiswa PPG efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter mahasiswa mulai dari kedisiplinan, keterampilan sosial, hingga keseimbangan hidup. Hal ini diperkuat dengan data siklus II diperoleh hasil peningkatan karakter mahasiswa pada aspek: kedisipinan 85%, tanggung jawab 87%, dan kemandirian 90%. Pentingnya dukungan berkelanjutan melalui bimbingan, konseling, serta manajemen waktu dan kegiatan asrama sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan personal dan profesional mahasiswa. Keterbatasa dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya resistensi awal mahasiswa terhadap program Pendidikan berasrama dan kesulitan manajemen waktu dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Abstract. Academic procrastination behavior is the behavior of procrastinating to do academic tasks that is done intentionally and repeatedly. Academic procrastination behavior can also adversely affect student achievement. This study aims to determine the level of academic procrastination behavior of class X Mipa students at SMAN 1 Bae Kudus. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study consisted of 250 students and the samples taken were 214 students. Data analysis in this study was obtained through a student academic procrastination questionnaire consisting of 35 closed statement items with 4 alternative answers. The results obtained in this study indicate that the level of academic procrastination behavior of class X Mipa students at SMAN 1 Bae Kudus is "low" with an average of 74.39.Keywords: Academic Behavior Level Procrastination Abstrak. Perilaku prokrastinasi akademik merupakan perilaku menunda-nunda untuk mengerjakan tugas akademik yang dilakukan secara sengaja dan berulang-ulang. Perilaku prokrastinasi akademik juga dapat berpengaruh buruk terhadap prestasi siswa.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat perilaku prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas X Mipa SMAN 1 Bae Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 250 siswa dan sampel yang diambil yaitu sebanyak 214 siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui kuesioner prokrastinasi akademik siswa yang terdiri dari 35 butir pernyataan tertutup dengan 4 alternatif jawaban. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perilaku prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas X Mipa SMAN 1 Bae Kudus adalah “rendah” dengan rata-rata 74,39.Kata kunci: Akademik Perilaku Prokrastinasi Tingkat

Abstract

The background of this study is the many problems of Class IX students in Public Middle School 42 Semarang who experience phubbing behavior. There are students who listen less and tend to hurt and ignore their interlocutors, because students focus more on their smartphonenas. The aim of this study is to know the effectiveness of the sociodrama engineering group guidance service for phubbing behavior. This research uses quantitative experimental research methods with the type of True-Experimental Design research. The population in this study was Semarang's 42th grade IX Middle School students except IX B which was used to do tryouts, so the population in this study was 5 classes totaling 164 students. Samples taken 1 class were 32 students divided into two groups namely the control group and the experimental group. The sampling technique in this study is the random sampling cluster. Data collection techniques use the likert scale, which is the scale of phubbing behavior. Based on the results of the paired sample t-Test test which shows that the signification value (2-tailed) of 0.010 < 0.05 means that there is the effectiveness of the sociodrama engineering group guidance on the phubbing behavior of Class IX students in Public Middle School 42 Semarang.

Abstract

Research on the relationship between peer social support and academic resilience in students who are compiling a thesis in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Education, PGRI Semarang University is motivated by the number of individuals who experience problems with the process of working on a thesis caused by various things.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer social support and academic resilience. In this study, the method used was quantitative with the type of correlation research. The sample of this study amounted to 58 students who were working on a thesis in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Education, PGRI Semarang University, which was taken using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire scale of self-confidence and emotional intelligence. The results of the Pearson Product Moment test found the sig value. (2-tailed) obtained 0.000<0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between peer social support and academic resilience. It is known that the correlation coefficient value r calculated 0.936 with a positive level. This shows that Ha “is accepted and Ho ‘is rejected’. Thus the researcher's hypothesis which states “there is a relationship between peer social support” can be accepted empirically. This means that the higher the peer social support an individual has, the higher the academic resilience will be.
