Abstract

For organizations whose members are predominantly Muslim, the appropriate leaders are leaders who have Islamic values or what is usually called spiritual leadership. Based on the spiritual leadership approach, encouraging employees to participate in ta'awun behavior enhances human resources efficiency within a business organization. Researchers have studied many leadership models, but only a few have explored spiritual leadership models and OCBI and OCBO on human resource performance. The study aims to contribute to the growth of research into spiritual leadership models, OCBI, and OCBO behavior about HR performance. This study investigates the mediating role of ta'awun behavior in the relationship between spiritual leadership and HR performance. This study emphasizes 190 employees from PT Arkatama Solusindo and PT Digi Partner Studio and a quantitative research paradigm using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis tool. According to this research, the spiritual leadership model is the most effective factor for improving human resource performance. Its influence can be effectively reduced by OCBI and OCBO behavior. OCBI behavior serves as a mediator for the impact of spiritual leadership on HR performance. Meanwhile, the mediating variable OCBO does not have a mediating role.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) refers to supplementary actions performed by individuals to enhance organizational efficiency. This study investigates the correlation between personality traits and organizational citizenship behavior influenced by transformational leadership. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is crucial in enhancing corporate success. This research employs a quantitative methodology inside an exploratory framework. The study population comprised 92 employees of the Tourism Services Company in Malang. The employed sample technique is saturation sampling. The data collection approach employs a questionnaire. The data analysis process employs SmartPLS 4.0 software, integrating external model assessment, internal model evaluation, and hypothesis testing. The study's results indicated a significant and positive connection between personality and organizational citizenship behavior, evidenced by a T-table value of 1.96 and a P-value of 0.000 below 0.05. The moderation test results demonstrate that transformational leadership adversely moderates the link between personality and OCB, indicated by a statistical value of -0.219, less than the T-table value of 1.96, and a P-value of 0.827, exceeding 0.05. This study demonstrates that organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) evolves through employee knowledge, independent of leadership direction. This study investigates the relationship between personality and organizational citizenship behavior, mediated by transformational leadership.  Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is crucial for enhancing organizational effectiveness. This research employs a quantitative approach utilizing exploratory techniques. The study's population comprised 92 employees of the Tourism Services Company in Malang. The employed methodology is extensive sampling. The employed data collection method is a questionnaire. The employed data analysis approach is SmartPLS 4.0 software, encompassing an outer model, an inner model, and hypothesis testing. The research findings indicate a considerable and significant impact of personality on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), demonstrated by a T-table value of 1.96 and a P-value of 0.000, below 0.05. The moderation test results demonstrate that transformational leadership negatively moderates the relationship between personality and organizational citizenship behavior, as indicated by a statistical value of -0.219, below the T-table threshold of 1.96, and a P-value of 0.827, which exceeds 0.05. This study demonstrates that organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) evolves through employee knowledge, irrespective of the leader's guidance. Transformational leadership does not enhance organizational citizenship behavior, as employees possess a comprehensive awareness of assisting colleagues and the organization independently of the leader's directives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of paternalistic leadership and compensation on employee performance, as well as to examine the role of motivation as an intervening variable at CV Langgeng Dumadi, a company engaged in construction services and wooden pallet production. A quantitative approach was employed using an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires from 66 respondents, and analyzed using SmartPLS software with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The analysis involved construct validity and reliability testing (outer model), evaluation of relationships among variables (inner model), and direct and indirect hypothesis testing. The results indicate that both paternalistic leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, motivation was not found to be a significant intervening variable in these relationships. The implications of these findings suggest that organizations should focus directly on strengthening supportive leadership styles and implementing fair and structured compensation systems to effectively enhance employee performance. This study provides practical insights for companies in developing more effective and human-centered managerial policies.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of spiritual leadership and job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and spirituality at work as a mediating variable in millennial employees at an electronic assembly company in Batam. Methodology: This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 261 employees and data analysis is carried out statistically to test the relationship between variables. Results: This study shows that spiritual leadership has no significant effect on OCB (T-Statistics 1.059, P-Value 0.290). In contrast, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on OCB (T-Statistics 4.090, P-Value 0.000). Spirituality at work did not mediate the effect of spiritual leadership on OCB, but did significantly mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and OCB. Findings: Job satisfaction influenced OCB more than spiritual leadership, with workplace spirituality mediating the relationship and driving employee motivation. Novelty: The study found that spiritual leadership indirectly influenced OCB, but job satisfaction was a significant mediator, particularly among millennial employees in the electronics manufacturing industry. Originality: This study highlights that spiritual leadership indirectly affects OCB, but job satisfaction is a significant mediator, offering a new perspective on the importance of focusing on job satisfaction among millennial employees in the electronics manufacturing industry. Conclusion: The study concluded that spiritual leadership does not directly influence OCB, but job satisfaction is a significant mediator. Organizations need to improve job satisfaction to encourage OCB among millennial employees. Type of Paper: This type of article is a research article that presents empirical findings on the effect of spiritual leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with a focus on the role of job satisfaction as a mediator.Â
