Abstract

Fokus utama penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki serta memahami perempuan yang ikut berdagang di pasar nagari. Bagaimana keterkaitannya dengan lahirnya jiwa enterprenuership masyarakat Minangkabau serta keterkaitan enterprenuership dengan pemberdayaan ekonomi wilayah Sumatera Barat dan Nasional. Ada beberapa alasan perempuan pedagang terjun ke perdagangan eksport yaitu; (1) ingin melanjutkan kehidupan keluarga, (2) ketimpangan kepemilikan lahan pertanian yang dikuasai, (3) tingkat pendidikan yang rendah, (4) asal suku (sosial budaya).Keberadaan perempuan pedagang di pasar nagari merupakan incubator lahirnya dan terlanggengnya jiwa enterpreneurship untuk generasi selanjutnya di Minangkabau sekaligus telah memberikan sumbangan terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi wilayah Sumatera Barat secara khusus dan ekonomi Nasional secara umum.

Abstract

The learning of Social Research Method subject has always had difficulties since the low of student’s creativity in seeking and finding the problem. The students prefer to cooperate in finding the problem of the subject. It is one of the reasons for the Lecturer to do a Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR is conducted by using a Discovery Learning method. This method is a learning model developed based on the constructivism. It emphasizes the necessity of the important structures or ideas to a discipline by having an active student involvement in the learning process. On this subject, a student is required to seek and find out the problems. CAR is a reflected research of the actions taken by the Lecturers to improve the learning process as one of their responsibilities

Abstract

Conflicts of land confiscationis one of the land tenure problem in urban and rural areas of Indonesia. Conflicts that occurred came from the capitalism that has entered in various regions with the aim to gain benefits both individually and in groups. This study is to looks at the chronology of the conflict, the actors and the type of people political movements of their lands that have been excluded from theydaily livelihood resources. Partnership system built by PT. BBS (PT.BukitBintangSawit) resulted in changes to the access of land or agrarian resources. Land that originally as a source of community life  andexperienced a process of power transfer from community to company PT. Bukit BintangSawit.The research method is a comparative with expost facto approach. The data analysis was done in the form of literature study, resume result from Antoni and field result of year 2016 in order to understand the theory related to phenomenon. Data analysis is the view of experts who are studying the conflict on access theory purposed by Jess C. Ribot and Nancy Lee Peluso, while the conflict theory was using Fisher et.al. and theory of property rights from Schlager and Ostrom (1992). The results of the study indicate that the type of political movement performed the type of official politics and the conflict between local communities with PT BBS. Their movement is aim to reclaim their natural resources. Then the type of everyday politics related to the opposition openly to reject the operation of oil palm plantation companies in the area of Sago Village and ask for compensation related to the land they have seized. In addition, the actor in the case consists of three people who have economic capital, holders and makers and recognize property rights and government policy makers.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on data analysis of social capital owned by mobile vegetable traders who are able to survive in household social security. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social capital and social resilience of mobile vegetable merchant households in Mahakarya Kampung 2, Luhak Nan Duo District, West Pasaman Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting observational data, in-depth interviews and document studies. The results of this study indicate that the dynamics of mobile vegetable traders are 1) The network built between traders and customers has 2) The trust of mobile vegetable traders is to allow customers to borrow. 3) Norms or rules for paying debts which were initially only allowed 2 days, now customers are allowed to pay for 1 week. The social resilience of the mobile vegetable merchant household is the fulfillment of daily.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze life survival strategy, social networks, and social capital measured from the networks, faith, and norms of Minangkabau Woman Street Vendor during the COVID-19 pandemic in the tourism destination area of West Sumatra. This research uses a mixed method. This research had a post-positivistic paradigm with the research locations in the tourist destination areas such as Padang City, Bukittinggi City, Sawahlunto City, and Tanah Datar Regency. The results showed that women street vendors performed life survival in tourism destination areas by strengthening social capital and human capital for a better economy.

Abstract

Perkembangan makro ekonomi Indonesia saat ini mengalami penurunan hal ini dapat dilihat dari pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia pada April 2020. Penurunan pertumbuhan ekonomi tersebut berada sektor informal. Kegiatan sektor informal ini adalah salah satunya pedagang sayur keliling. Dengan memanfaatkan modal sosial yang ia miliki pedagang sayur keliling mampu bertahan dalam ketahanan sosial rumah tangganya dengan pendapatan dibawah UMR. Tujuan Penelitian adalah menganalisis manfaat modal sosial dan ketahanan rumah tangga pedagang sayur keliling. Penelitian ini menggunkan pendekatan kualitaif, dengan metode pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara mendalam dan pengumpulan data dokumen. Analisis data menggunkan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa manfaat modal sosial pedagang sayur keliling yaitu: 1) terbangunya kepercayaan anatar pedagang sayaur keliling dan pelangan untuk memberikan pinjaman serta memperkuatkan hubungan sosial antara pedagang dan pembeli. 2). Mampu memperlus jaringan, sebagai jembatan mendapatkan pelanggan baru dan terbentuknay kelompok arisan sesama pedagang. 3) terbangunya kesepakatan antara pedagang dan pembeli dalam tindakan ekonomi serta pedagang mampu bertahan dalam ketahanan rumah tangga dengan tidak membiarkan modal mereka berhenti karena pelanggan telat berhutang.

Abstract

Lempur Village is located in Gunung Raya District which has the potential of abundant natural resources and a beautiful atmosphere, on the other hand, the majority of Lempur Village people work as farmers. In 2014 Lempur Village was an ordinary village just like other villages, the community was still not aware that the potential possessed by the village could be developed and become a tourist attraction so that it could create jobs for the local community. With abundant natural potential and complete with hills, mountains, waterfalls, lakes, flora, and fauna, it should be able to attract tourists to come. Research Objectives To describe the development of the Lekuk 50 Tumbi Lempur Tourism Village in Kerinci Regency 2015-2020, especially in the physical field and to describe the socio-economic impact of the development of the Lekuk 50 Tumbi Lempur Tourism Village on the Lempur community before and after the establishment of the tourist village. The method used in this historical research consists of 4 stages, namely: Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. The research results of Development Lekuk 50 Tumbi Lempur Tourism Village have made many good contributions to the community. One of them is the formation of job vacancies such as Travel Agent, Porter, Cafe. Most of the people who feel the economic impact of the development of the Lekuk 50 Tumbi Lempur Tourism Village are traders, including meatball, satay, chicken noodle, and even cafe traders. The social impacts of the development of tourist villages on the community are: The majority of people are starting to become aware of the cleanliness of the surrounding environment, the re-activation of art studios in the community, the culture of the Lempur Village community is starting to be known to people outside the area such as Tauh Dance.

Abstract

The Pasar Raya Padang suffered various dynamics and changes since the West Sumatera earthquake 2009. Many studies had been conducted by academicians and researchers, but no study offering the model of economic space govern at Pasar Raya Padang according to traders’ needs. This paper was conducted by qualitative approach offers the models of traditional economic space govern in the city of Padang. This research had been conducted since 2015 in Pasar Raya Padang. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), observation and document study. The result is that the traders as the primary market stakeholders want to have the model of economic space govern integrated over the system, the infrastructures, and market layout. The traders intend to have Pasar Raya Padang that still uses traditional system but the physical buildings that are set up as a modern market with complete facilities.
