Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi manfaat, kepercayaan, dan ulasan pengguna terhadap loyalitas konsumen pada platform e-commerce Tokopedia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner kepada 96 responden yang merupakan pengguna Tokopedia. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi manfaat, kepercayaan, dan ulasan pengguna berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Kepercayaan dan persepsi manfaat menjadi faktor dominan dalam meningkatkan loyalitas karena berkaitan dengan rasa aman, kenyamanan, serta nilai guna yang dirasakan konsumen saat bertransaksi. Sementara itu, ulasan pengguna berperan dalam memperkuat keyakinan konsumen sebelum melakukan pembelian. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa peningkatan loyalitas konsumen dapat dilakukan melalui penguatan sistem keamanan, optimalisasi fitur layanan, serta pengelolaan ulasan yang transparan dan kredibel guna menjaga hubungan jangka panjang dengan konsumen.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of brand trust and perceived risk on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction as a mediator, for Daviena Skincare products distributed by TikTok Shop. The issue of product overclaims present in the marketing of skincare products, specifically for Indonesia generally and for Daviena Skincare in particular, contributed to consumer uncertainty, which can hamper brand trust, perceived risk, and customer loyalty. Method: The approach and strategy for this study are quantitative, specifically represented by surveys, with 150 respondents who are customers of Daviena Skincare, having transacted at least twice at TikTok Shop. Results: The findings from this study show that brand trust and perceived risk affected customer satisfaction on TikTok Shop, customer satisfaction affected customer loyalty, and brand trust and perceived risk directly affected customer loyalty. The findings show that customer satisfaction can mediate the relationship between Brand Trust, Perceived Risk, and Customer Loyalty for Daviena Skincare on TikTok Shop. Novelty: The development of social media and e-commerce, specifically TikTok Shop, has fueled competition in the local skincare industry in Indonesia, highlighting the role of customer satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between brand trust, perceived risk, and customer loyalty for Daviena Skincare products distributed through TikTok Shop.

Abstract

Objective: The development of e-commerce has encouraged changes in consumer shopping behavior that was previously offline and is now done online, especially in Generation Z who tend to do Impulsive Buying. This study aims to analyze the influence of Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Promotion on Online Impulsive Buying with Shopping Enjoyment as a mediating variable. Method: The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 150 Generation Z respondents who actively shop through e-commerce platforms. The data was analyzed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) method. Results: The results of the study show that Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Promotion have a positive and significant effect on Online Impulsive Buying. In addition, Shopping Enjoyment has been shown to have a significant effect on Online Impulsive Buying and is able to mediate the influence of Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Promotion on this behavior. Novelty: These findings confirm that emotional aspects, engaging promotions and shopping experiences have an important role in shaping Generation Z's impulsive buying behavior.

Abstract

Objective: The development of digital technology and the rapid growth of e-commerce have changed people's consumption patterns, especially among Generation Z, who are known as active users of the Shopee platform. The phenomenon of consumptive shopping behavior is increasing along with low self-control, a practical digital lifestyle, and the strong influence of influencer reviews on social media. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-control, lifestyle, and influencer reviews on the shopping behavior of Shopee consumers in Gen Z. Method: The research approach uses a quantitative method with a questionnaire distributed to 153 respondents who meet the criteria: Gen Z aged 17–28 years, active Shopee users, and have seen influencer reviews. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS 3.0 application. Results: The results showed that all independent variables, namely Self-Control, Lifestyle, and Influencer Reviews, had a positive and significant effect on Shopping Behavior. Novelty: This study contributes to understanding Gen Z consumption behavior and supports efforts to achieve SDG point 12 on sustainable consumption patterns.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Trust, Brand Image, and Emotional Branding on Customer Satisfaction in IKEA Indonesia customers. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique. Primary data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 108 respondents who had purchased and used IKEA furniture products, using purposive sampling techniques. Results: The results of the study show that all independent variables, namely Brand Trust, Brand Image, and Emotional Branding, have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. These findings indicate that trust in the brand, strong brand image perception, and emotional engagement of customers in the shopping experience have an important role in increasing customer satisfaction levels. In practical terms, this study provides implications for IKEA to strengthen its marketing strategy oriented towards emotional experience as well as consistency of product and service quality. Novelty: The value of this research's contribution lies in affirming the role of emotional aspects and brand perception in shaping customer satisfaction in the modern furniture industry.

Abstract

General Background: Traditional Indonesian culinary culture faces challenges as modern food products increasingly dominate consumer preferences. To preserve and promote traditional cuisine, some entrepreneurs and influencers have introduced strategies to enhance brand image, maintain product quality, and offer competitive prices. Specific Background: One such example is Bebek Carok Restaurant, owned by influencer Tretan Muslim in Sidoarjo, which aims to attract more consumers by highlighting traditional Indonesian dishes. Knowledge Gap: However, limited research exists on the impact of brand image, product quality, and price perception on consumer purchasing decisions in traditional food restaurants. Aims: This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, product quality, and price perception on purchasing decisions at Bebek Carok Restaurant in Sidoarjo. Results: Using a quantitative approach and a sample of 96 respondents, the findings reveal that brand image, product quality, and price perception each have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at the restaurant. Novelty: This research provides insights into the role of brand image and quality perceptions in driving consumer behavior in traditional culinary markets, a relatively underexplored area in Indonesia. Implications: The results offer valuable guidance for traditional food entrepreneurs, demonstrating the importance of maintaining strong brand image and product quality, alongside competitive pricing, to enhance consumer engagement and boost sales.

Abstract

Background: The increasing role of e-promotion, product quality, and innovation in influencing consumer purchasing decisions has become paramount in the digital marketplace, particularly for brands like Somethinc targeting younger generations on social media platforms. Specific Background: Despite the growing relevance of Instagram as a promotional tool, there is a limited understanding of how these factors specifically impact purchasing decisions among Somethinc’s Instagram followers. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have inadequately explored the interplay between e-promotion, product quality, and product innovation in the context of consumer behavior on social media, particularly for beauty products among Generation Z and Millennials. Aims: This research aims to examine the effects of e-promotion, product quality, and product innovation on purchasing decisions for Somethinc products, using a sample of 103 followers of the @somethincofficial Instagram account. Results: Utilizing a quantitative approach and the Partial Least Square (PLS) method for data analysis, the findings reveal that e-promotion, product quality, and product innovation all have significant positive effects on purchasing decisions. Novelty: The study contributes new insights into the specific impact of digital marketing strategies on consumer behavior within the beauty industry, particularly among younger demographics. Implications: The results suggest that Somethinc should enhance its electronic promotion efforts, maintain high product quality, and focus on continuous product innovation to foster consumer satisfaction and drive purchasing decisions. The research also highlights the need for further investigation into additional platforms like TikTok and Shopee to broaden understanding of consumer behavior across various social media channels.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and service quality on customer loyalty through customer engagement in cafe businesses in the Kavling DPR Sidoarjo area. Method: The study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique on 114 respondents who had visited and interacted with digital cafe media in the area. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Results: The results showed that digital marketing and service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer engagement, while customer engagement had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Service quality was also proven to have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, while digital marketing had a significant negative effect on customer loyalty. In addition, customer engagement was able to significantly mediate the effect of digital marketing on customer loyalty, but was not able to mediate the effect of service quality on customer loyalty. Novelty: The research findings indicate that consistent service quality and interactive, relevant, and moderate digital marketing strategies are important factors in increasing customer engagement and loyalty in cafe businesses. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of cafe businesses to optimize service quality, strengthen creative and personalized digital communication, and build long-term relationships with customers through increased customer engagement to face increasingly competitive F&B businesses.

Abstract

General Background Human resources represent a critical component determining organizational survival and operational success within a highly competitive global business environment. Specific Background Within the sugar industry, companies such as PT PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo face significant workforce challenges, including suboptimal hiring processes and insufficient skills development, which hinder operational efficiency. Knowledge Gap Despite the recognized importance of human capital, there is a lack of qualitative exploration regarding how the precise integration of targeted hiring and ongoing competency development functions within the specific technological transitions of the sugar manufacturing sector. Aims This study explores the application and outcomes of integrated talent acquisition and ongoing skill development strategies on worker performance at PT PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo. Results Descriptive qualitative analysis utilizing interviews and observations reveals that combining internal and external hiring with project-centric learning and mentoring significantly accelerates task completion, minimizes errors, and reduces staff turnover. Novelty This research provides empirical qualitative evidence on the synergistic mechanism of combining precise talent acquisition with modern, project-centric learning to specifically address technological adaptation needs in the sugar industry. Implications Organizations must synergize their human resource practices by aligning targeted candidate selection with ongoing capability development and mentoring to secure long-term operational sustainability and competitiveness. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan, kelengkapan, dan label halal terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Retail Basmalah. Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh semakin ketatnya persaingan usaha ritel serta meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat Muslim terhadap pentingnya kualitas pelayanan, ketersediaan produk, dan jaminan kehalalan produk yang dikonsumsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 120 responden yang pernah melakukan pembelian di Toko Basmalah. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS 3.0. Temuan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kualitas pelayanan yang optimal, kelengkapan produk, serta adanya label halal yang jelas dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen sehingga mendorong keputusan pembelian pada Retail Basmalah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengelola ritel dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan berbasis syariah
