Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the jigsaw-assisted cooperative learning model of the scrapbook-assisted type on the motivation and learning outcomes of students at SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo. This research method is a Quasi Experimental Design with the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design experiment. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted in class XI MPLB 1 as the experimental class and class XI MPLB 3 as the control class. Data analysis techniques in this study used prerequisite tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test (t-test). The results of this study indicate that the application of the jigsaw-assisted cooperative learning model with the help of scrapbooks has an effect on learning motivation as indicated by an increase in students' motivation scores before and after treatment. In addition, the results of the study also showed that the jigsaw-assisted cooperative learning model with the help of scrapbooks had an effect on student learning outcomes which were known to increase the learning outcomes of the experimental class which were higher than the control class. Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan ditujukan mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel status perekonomian orang tua, efikasi diri, dan motivasi belajar untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keinginan studi lanjut pada jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi siswa OTKP di SMKN 10 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji analisis regresi berganda menggunakan SPSS. Dengan pengambilan sampel memakai metode Simple Random Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini bahwa: 1). Tidak adanya akibat secara parsial pada variabel status perekonomian orang tua pada ketertarikan siswa dalam lanjut pendidikan pada jenjang universitas yang ditunjukkan pada hasil persentase 17,6%. 2). Adanya pengaruh secara parsial pada variabel efikasi diri pada keinginan lanjut pendidikan pada perguruan tinggi atau universitas di siswa yang ditunjukkan pada hasil persentase 77,1%. 3). Pengaruh parsial yang ada di variabel motivasi belajar memiliki ketertarikan dalam kelanjutan pendidikan di siswa dengan hasil persentase 28,6%. Kemudian 4). Adanya pengaruh secara keseluruhan/simultan variabel antara status perekonomian orang tua, efikasi diri dan motivasi belajar pada ketertarikan dalam lanjutnya jenjang pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa dengan nilai R Square sebesar 12,3%

Abstract

Objective: This research refers to the purpose of student organizations that function as a means for students to develop intellectual abilities and skills, so student interest talent development activities as part of the educational process can be carried out through student organizations. This is important because honing skills through self-habituation and fulfilling the needs of life can form a balance between knowledge and skills as the basis of quality human resources in the development of the time. Method: It was carried out by analyzing the research model of the influence between student leadership training, including Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM on CLEI (measurement of higher education learning effectiveness inventory) in this measurement method. This procedure was used to test multiple regression research models. Results: It was stated that the participation of students in the leadership training of Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM students had a partial and simultaneous effect on student learning ability through the measurement of student learning ability effectiveness inventory (CLEI).  Novelty: in this study is to measure the impact of participation in the level of student leadership training on students' learning abilities by using a variety of six learning abilities, including self-efficacy, organization and attention to learning, stress control due to time and environmental pressures, involvement in college activities, emotional satisfaction, and communication in learning adapted from a research questionnaire called inventory higher learning effectiveness (CLEI).

Abstract

Penelitian mengangkat masalah tingkat pengangguran per Agustus 2023, sekolah menengah kejuruan masih berada pada posisi tertinggi 9,31% diakibatkan kesiapan kerja siswa yang kurang optimal, pengimplementasian program WBL yang belum sesuai dengan bidang yang ditekuni, dan employability skills siswa yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengamnalisis bagaimana kesiapan kerja, WBL, dan employability skills mampu menuntun siswa sukses dengan karir yang dipilihnya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas XII OTKP SMKN 10 Surabaya yang berjumlah 138 siswa dengan melibatkan 103 sampel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan berbantuan software SPSS 29. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasi bahwa dalam kesiapan kerja, siswa cenderung memiliki kemampuan berorganisasi yaitu mampu bertanggung jawab dengan keputusan yang diambil dilihat dari nilai mean sebesar 4,44. Temuan lainnya dalam WBL, siswa lebih unggul dalam work-process dilihat dari nilai mean sebesar 4,56, dimana bimbingan mentor sangat diperlukan dalam kesuksesan karir. Dalam penguasaan employability skills siswa, kemampuan tertinggi ada pada kemampuan self-management dengan nilai mean sebesar 4,43 yang berarti siswa dapat mengelola waktu dengan baik saat pelaksanaan WBL. Dengan meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa melalui implementasi WBL yang optimal dan mengembangkan employability skills, siswa akan mencapai kesuks eskan karir yang dipilihnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh sarana prasarana, lingkungan sekolah dan motivasi belajar terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas X MPK dan XI MPK di SMK Yasmu Gresik dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini berasal dari seluruh siswa kelas X dan XI MPK dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Metode analisis dilakukan dengan analisis linier berganda berbantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel sarana prasarana, lingkungan sekolah dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work integrated learning (WIL) dan employability skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII OTKP SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya, dengan populasi sebanyak 138 siswa dan sampel 103 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner secara online. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda berbantuan software SPSS versi 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial WIL tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa, dan employability skills berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Secara simultan, WIL dan employability skills berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa dengan besar pengaruhnya 51,4%. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja, siswa perlu menguasai employability skills yang relevan dengan dunia kerja saat ini.

Abstract

Crowdfunding has emerged as an innovative method to support small business expansion, providing an alternative for entrepreneurs to access financial resources. This study aims to evaluate the impact of community participation in resource mobilization through crowdfunding. By analyzing data from various successful crowdfunding campaigns, the study identified the factors that influence the success of fundraising and how community engagement contributes to those outcomes. The findings show that community participation not only increases project trust and credibility, but also creates important emotional and social support for entrepreneurs. In addition, crowdfunding serves as an educational platform that increases public awareness of social and economic issues. This research provides insights for entrepreneurs and policymakers on the importance of community involvement in crowdfunding strategies, as well as broader implications for economic development. Through the evaluation of the impact of community participation, this study highlights the potential of crowdfunding as an effective tool for resource mobilization in the context of small businesses.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies used in digitalization to improve the image of East Java Bappeda. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The informants in this research were employees of the multimedia division who also have public relations roles and already have experience in this field. The indicators used in this research are fact-finding, planning, action and communication, and evaluation. The research results show that public relations at East Java Bappeda is more active in utilizing digital media, such as Instagram and websites, to improve the agency's image. The strategies implemented by prioritizing aspects of information disclosure according to facts packaged using post designs that are attractive, contemporary and have philosophical value are actually quite effective. However, in terms of engagement statistics, Instagram is considered to be less effective in attracting people's activity, and the same goes for the website. Nevertheless, a comprehensive evaluation can help the Public Relations of East Java Bappeda to improve, reorganize, and innovate in creating more optimal strategies in an effort to maintain a positive reputation, improve the image, and strengthen public trust in East Java Bappeda.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of developing digital teaching materials for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on Case Study and student responses to the development of digital teaching materials for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on Case Study. The development of digital textbooks for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on case study was developed using the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan, which includes four stages, namely the definition, design, development, and dissemination stages. However, this dissemination stage was not carried out because this study did not measure the effectiveness of the product or student learning outcomes. The feasibility of the developed textbook was determined based on an assessment by material, language, and graphic validation experts. From the overall assessment of the validation experts, the average result of the textbook's feasibility was 87.33% with a very feasible category. Based on this percentage, it can be stated that the digital textbook for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on case study is feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process of the Introduction to Administrative and Management Science course. Student responses were carried out with a limited trial on 20 students of the Office Administration Education Study Program. The student response sheet consists of 6 components of eligibility, namely the format, relevance, attention, satisfaction, understanding of the material, and confidence in learning outcomes, where the overall assessment of students obtained an average eligibility result of 86.66% which can be interpreted that the digital textbook Introduction to Administrative Science and Management based on case studies is feasible and interesting to use in the learning process of the Introduction to Administrative Science and Management course.

Abstract

Teaching Factory (TEFA) is a production-based learning model that aims to align student skills with industry needs. This study analyzes the readiness and implementation of TEFA in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Surabaya State University to improve 21st-century skills in the digital era. Using a simple random sampling method with 44 respondents, the data were analyzed using Rasch modeling because of its accurate measurement in identifying the level of response suitability. The results show that the educational aspect of TEFA received a very positive response, reflecting the contribution of this program in supporting the development of 21st-century competencies, including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, character, and civic engagement. Students are trained to think critically and solve real problems so that they are ready to face industry challenges. However, the marketing aspect needs to be improved so that information about TEFA is better known and this program gets more comprehensive support from the community. With a more effective promotion strategy, opportunities for collaboration with external parties can increase, and more students can be involved, strengthening the collaboration and communication aspects of 21st-century competencies. Overall, TEFA not only helps students master technical skills but also strengthens 21st-century competencies that are relevant and applicable in the professional world
