Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of communication as a basis in the world of work, which plays a vital role in achieving individual and organizational goals. The inability to communicate effectively can hinder organizational performance, causing coordination difficulties, misunderstandings between colleagues, and decreased productivity. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The primary and secondary data used were obtained through purposive sampling. Observation and interview techniques were used to collect data, while data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. The results and discussion here convey that by using the SPAN LAPOR application and the results of interviews with employees armed with this application, communication can run effectively between reporters and officials, making communication easier.

Abstract

Indonesian workers are the second largest contributor of foreign exchange after oil and gas. Therefore, it is important to empower the group of Indonesian workers working abroad. This is needed to address the issue of Indonesian workers working abroad. Empowerment of workers can be done through training programs that can provide education to workers according to their respective interests and needs, one of which is public speaking. Through public speaking, it will train self-confidence to appear in the public realm or to the wider community. Public speaking training was held in Selangor, Malaysia, which was attended by 26 participants from AOMI (Aliansi Organisasi Masyarakat Indonesia) and lecturers who are members of the PKM group from the Office Administration Education Study Program, Surabaya State University. This community service activity was carried out in the form of training with lecture methods and public speaking practices for workers who are members of AOMI Malaysia. The implementation of community service activities by the PKM Team received a very good response, which can be seen from the questionnaire response data of 46.2% stating good and 34.6% stating very good, as well as testimonials from Indonesian workers in Malaysia regarding public speaking training which were responded positively. So that the training participants were very enthusiastic to follow this PKM activity until it was finished and the training participants wanted to be able to carry out similar workshop activities in the future, in order to support the development of their communication skills in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran Manajemen Perkantoran pada fase F elemen Komunikasi di Tempat Kerja kelas XI berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan bantuan aplikasi Sigil Software guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) untuk menghasilkan e-modul yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan e-modul sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Respon siswa juga menunjukkan ketertarikan tinggi terhadap e-modul yang dikembangkan. Selain itu, kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setelah penggunaan e-modul ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh manajemen waktu dan pengalaman organisasi terhadap employability skills mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran UNESA. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda software berbantuan SPSS 25. Populasi penelitian menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 78 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran angkatan 2022, 2023 dan 2024 yang mengikuri organisasi kemahasiswaan lingkup fakultas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa manajemen waktu dan pengalaman organisasi berpengaruh sebesar 76% secara positif dan signifikan terhadap employability skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh user experience dan quality content terhadap penggunaan AI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ialah mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Angkatan 2023 dan 2024 dengan jumlah sampel 245 orang dari populasi 640 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner secara online. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear bergandan berbantuan SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial user experience tidak berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan AI dan quality content berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan AI. Secara simultan, user experience dan quality content berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan AI. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wawasan bagi mahasiswa agar lebih bijak menggunakan AI dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a case method-based office communication e-book that meets the requirements of validity and usability. Novelty in research emphasizes a unique, contemporary, and specific approach to training students to communicate effectively in the office, utilizing books integrated with technology and a case-based learning approach. This research is a development study utilizing a 4-D model. The instruments used to measure the feasibility and practicality of this textbook include validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of data analysis show that, according to the expert's assessment, both in terms of material, language, and graphics, it is highly feasible, with an average feasibility of 92.10% and an average score of 90.2% among student responses. Based on these results, this case method-based office communication e-book is feasible and can be used in classroom learning. Therefore, the implications of developing e-books in office communication emphasize the possibility for lecturers and students to learn more quickly, flexibly, and contextually, so that students can apply concepts from office communication to face the demands of a very dynamic work environment.

Abstract

Perubahan dunia kerja di era digital menghadirkan tantangan besar bagi lulusan perguruan tinggi untuk memiliki keterampilan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Penguasaan employability skills memiliki peranan krusial bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran dalam menghadapi dinamika serta kompetisi dunia kerja yang semakin kompleks. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana kecerdasan emosional dan self-efficacy memengaruhi employability skills. Pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas mahasiswa angkatan 2021 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total, menghasilkan 82 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis melalui perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Analisis dilakukan melalui uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, serta pengujian hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap employability skills, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,875. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, kedua variabel terbukti menjadi komponen penting dalam meningkatkan employability skills mahasiswa, sehingga pengembangannya perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan yang kompeten dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Abstract

The 2013 revised 2017 curriculum is student-centered and emphasizes students' ability to learn independently, and can communicate information related to the material being studied through a scientific approach as the focus of activities during learning. However, the problem with independent learning is the lack of digital-based teaching materials that can help increase students' understanding, interest, and motivation. The competence of teachers in developing teaching materials that utilize the application of technology is also lacking, so it is necessary to conduct training in the development of codular-interactive teaching materials. The target of this Community Service activity is 20 teachers of the Office Administration and Automation Expertise Program at SMK Tunas Wijaya Surabaya. The results of the codular-based interactive teaching materials training showed that 87% of participants stated that they would apply what they had studied during the training activities into their learning. Abstract

Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) telah melaksanakan pelatihan manajemen dokumen bagi pegawai desa di Kecamatan Sukodono dalam rangka meningkatkan pelayanan publik dan mewujudkan tertib administrasi di pemerintahan desa. Dalam kegiatan tertib administrasi terdapat beberapa kelurahan di bawah naungan Kecamatan Sukodono yang memiliki kinerja minimal terkait dengan tata kelola administrasi. Pengelolaan dokumen khususnya pada kegiatan penataan yang dilakukan tidak sesuai dengan prosedur kearsipan yang baik dan benar. Terdapat pula beberapa kelurahan yang masih minim pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan dokumen, dikarenakan kurangnya pelatihan serta adanya pegawai baru yang masih perlu pemahaaman lebih lanjut terkait dengan prosedur pengelolaan dokumen yang benar. Untuk itu tim PKM memberikan pelatihan terkait pengelolaan arsip khususnya kepada pegawai yang menangani arsip di kelurahan-kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Sukodono. Pelatihan ini difokuskan pada konsep tertib administrasi yang menekankan pada kelengkapan dan kerapian dokumen administrasi. Pengelolaan arsip yang baik merupakan hal yang krusial bagi pemerintah desa, dan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pegawai dalam mengelola dokumen dengan baik. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan secara offline dan diikuti oleh 36 peserta, termasuk 1 orang narasumber dari ANRI, 4 orang narasumber dari anggota PKM, dan 5 orang mahasiswa. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama 4 jam dan mencakup materi arsip aset. Pelatihan ini mendapatkan umpan balik yang positif, dengan 87,2% peserta menyatakan akan menerapkan apa yang telah mereka pelajari dalam kegiatan administrasi mereka. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan manajemen dokumen berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan ketertiban administrasi di tingkat desa.

Abstract

The teaching profession is central to the development of human resources and the advancement of national progress. However, a declining interest among Generation Z in pursuing teaching careers raises concerns about the future availability of qualified educators. This study investigates the influence of social media and motivation on students’ interest in becoming teachers, with teaching experience serving as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative methodology and an explanatory research design, the study surveyed 166 students from the 2021 and 2022 cohorts of the Office Administration Education Program at Surabaya State University. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that social media does not have a significant direct effect on students’ interest in becoming teachers, while motivation shows a positive and significant influence. Individuals with higher motivation are more likely to express interest in a teaching career. Both social media and motivation significantly influence teaching experience, which in turn strongly affects interest in the teaching profession. Furthermore, the study confirms that social media and motivation indirectly influence career interest through teaching experience, highlighting the critical role of hands-on teaching practice in shaping students’ aspirations toward educational careers.
