Abstract

Learning media is a tool for teachers to convey information during the learning process. However, many schools still use learning media that are less varied and less engaging, causing students to tend to lose focus during the explanation process in learning. With the presence of technology, it can be used as an engaging learning medium in the form of the cheerful game in the subject of Science. This research aims to produce a valid and practical cheerful game media for the 8th-grade junior high school Science subject. The type of research is development research known as Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model. The development procedure in this research consists of 4 stages. (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The product validity test was conducted by 3 validators, namely 1 material validator and 2 media validators. The practicality test was trialed on eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. Based on the assessment results from the material and media validators, the material validation obtained an average score of 4.60 with the category "Very Valid." Meanwhile, the media validation results from validator I obtained an average score of 4.00 with the category "Valid," and the media validation results from validator II obtained an average score of 4.86 with the category "Very Valid." After the media was deemed valid and feasible, it was tested on eighth-grade students at SMP, with the practicality test results obtaining an average score of 4.42 with the category "Very Practical." Based on the validity and practicality test results, it can be concluded that the developed Si Ceria game media is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning, the content will be more optimal so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. The purpose of this study was to determine teacher perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Negeri 3 Padang, namely planning, implementation and evaluation processes. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using population research. Sampling using the total sampling technique with 65 respondents who implemented the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Negeri 3 Padang. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The validity test of the research instrument is based on logical validity and emipirs while the reliability test uses the Cronbach's Alpha technique with a reliability coefficient value> 0.7. The results of this study indicate that: (1) teachers' perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum in SMA Negeri 3 Padang are in the well implemented category (97%); (2) teachers' perceptions of the preparation of the Merdeka Curriculum in SMA Negeri 3 Padang are in the very well implemented category (97%); (3) teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum learning in SMA Negeri 3 Padang are in the well implemented category (95.4%); (4) teachers' perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum assessment process in SMA Negeri 3 Padang are in the very well implemented category (84.6%).

Abstract

Learning is a very important part of the educational process and needs attention. One lesson that can be used to simplify the educational process or teaching and learning activities is through audio-visual media. Audio visual media is media that combines audio and visuals by stimulating hearing and sight in the process of conveying messages or information. One of the audio-visual learning media is video tutorial media. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing video tutorial media in the Hair and Bun Styling course at the Department of Makeup and Beauty, FPP UNP. The results obtained in this research are the results of a hypothesis using the Test formulaℎit was found that tcount = 2.202 was greater than ttable = 2.021. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of Video Tutorial Media in the Hair and Bun Styling course in the Department of Makeup and Beauty, FPP UNP

Abstract

This study aims to assess the significant impact of the use of Android-assisted interactive learning media on student learning outcomes in social studies grade VIII at MTs Al Huda Pekanbaru. The research method used is the quasi-experimental method. The instrument used is a test to see student learning outcomes. The resulting data is statistically tested and analyzed descriptively. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the use of interactive learning media assisted by Android had a positive impact on students' academic achievement. The average score in the experimental class was proven to be higher compared to the average score in the control class, with the experimental class achieving an average score of 74.54, while the control class had an average score of 63.63. Based on the t-test results, the calculated t-value was 2.31, while the t-tabel value at a significance level of 0.05 was 2.018. Since the calculated t-value (2.31) is greater than the t-tabel value (2.018), it can be concluded that H1 is accepted. In conclusion, the use of interactive learning media assisted by Android has a significant impact on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade social studies students at MTs Al Huda Pekanbaru

Abstract

The Teacher Mobilization Program (PGP) is one of the strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to produce learning leaders who are able to create a quality learning environment. However, in Riau Province, the graduation rate for participants in this program shows significant variations between different classes. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the interests and competencies of Driving Teachers and their graduation rates in the Driving Teacher Program in Riau Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data was obtained through a questionnaire distributed to PGP participants from class 9 to class 11 in Riau Province. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson correlation test and multiple linear regression to measure the influence of interest and competency on graduation rates. The research results show that both interest and competency have a significant relationship with graduation rates. Teachers with high interest and competence have a greater opportunity to complete the program with optimal results. Simultaneously, the combination of interest and competence showed a greater influence on participant success than each factor individually. These findings can be used as a reference for policy makers in designing strategies to increase the readiness and competence of PGP participants in the future.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the application of differentiated learning consisting of content differentiation, process differentiation, product differentiation, and learning environment differentiation carried out at SMAN 7 Padang. The method used is Mixed Method with the Concurrent Embedded Strategy model. This model uses quantitative methods and qualitative methods. In this model, there are those who act as quantitative data, namely subject teachers of grade XI phase F of SMAN 7 Padang and students of phase F with a sample size of 15 teachers and 56 students and qualitative data using the Miles and Huberman Model. The results of the study showed that the application of differentiated learning carried out at SMAN 7 Padang on content differentiation was in the "Very Good" category with an average percentage of teachers of 82.50% and students of 81.25%, process differentiation was in the "Good" category with an average percentage of teachers of 80.93% and students of 76.64%, product differentiation was in the "Good" category with an average percentage of teachers of 86.67% and students of 80.63%. and the differentiation of the learning environment is in the "Good" category with an average percentage of teachers of 82.78% and students of 78.13%. Based on these results, it is concluded that overall the implementation of differentiated learning has been going well. However, obstacles were encountered including limited facilities in several classes and there were still teachers who were in the stage of understanding and learning the concept of differentiated learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the flipped classroom model on student learning outcomes in Sociology class X at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. This study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this study is the 10th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. The sample consists of class XE.6 as the experimental class and XE.7 as the control class, each comprising 36 students. Data collection techniques use objective tests with 40 questions, and the obtained data are analyzed using the t-test. The results show that the average score of the experimental class is 76,38, while the average score of the control class is 65,13. Based on the t-test calculation, the t-count value is greater than the t-table value, which is 4.250 > 1.994, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes at a significance level of α = 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the flipped classroom learning model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the Sociology subject for 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of using video learning media on students' learning outcomes in the subject of PAI in grade V at SDN 07 Padang Leban. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type to compare the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The sample of this research consists of students from class V.A and V.B with a total of 17 students per class. The data collection technique used objective test questions totaling 50 items. The obtained data were analyzed using homogeneity tests, normality tests, and difference tests (t-tests). The research results show that the average score of the experimental class, which is 90.82, is higher than the average score of the control class, which is 74.94. From the t-test analysis, it was obtained that t_calculated > t_table, which is 2.89 > 2.03 at a significance level of α 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of learning videos has a significant effect on students' learning outcomes in the PAI subject for grade V at SDN 07 Padang Leban Tapa.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu guru merupakan kebutuhan strategis dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21, terlebih dalam konteks kebijakan Merdeka Belajar yang menempatkan guru sebagai penggerak perubahan. Salah satu program unggulan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi adalah Program Guru Penggerak, yang bertujuan menciptakan pemimpin pembelajaran berdaya ubah dan kolaboratif. Namun demikian, sejauh mana program ini benar-benar menjawab kebutuhan peningkatan mutu guru di tingkat satuan pendidikan belum banyak dikaji secara mendalam. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kebijakan Program Guru Penggerak di SMPN 42 Pekanbaru melalui pendekatan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas satu kepala sekolah, enam guru penggerak, dan tiga guru non penggerak. Model evaluasi CIPP digunakan untuk menilai secara sistematis empat aspek utama: kebutuhan dan latar belakang program (context), kesiapan sumber daya dan perencanaan (input), pelaksanaan kegiatan dan dinamika proses (process), serta hasil dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan mutu guru (product). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Guru Penggerak di SMPN 42 Pekanbaru telah menjawab kebutuhan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Secara kontekstual, program ini selaras dengan visi sekolah dan kebutuhan profesionalisme guru. Sumber daya manusia cukup mendukung meskipun sarana prasarana digital masih terbatas. Pelaksanaan program berjalan efektif dengan partisipasi aktif guru, meskipun monitoring eksternal belum maksimal. Dampak program terlihat pada perubahan strategi mengajar, meningkatnya refleksi guru, dan mulai terbentuknya budaya kolaboratif. Namun demikian, pengimbasan masih belum sepenuhnya sistematis. Oleh karena itu, perlu strategi lanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan pelembagaan dampak program secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian dengan judul "Mindset Juara: Strategi Psikologis untuk Meningkatkan Performa Siswa dalam Olahraga di Kepulauan Mentawai" bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan teknik psikologis yang dapat meningkatkan performa siswa di SMA N 2 Sipora. Fokus utama dari pengabdian ini adalah pengembangan mentalitas positif, dengan pendekatan teori dan praktik langsung. Siswa diajarkan untuk mengembangkan mindset juara, yang berfokus pada proses, bukan hanya hasil akhir. Teknik manajemen emosi, seperti latihan pernapasan dalam dan visualisasi, diterapkan untuk membantu siswa tetap tenang di bawah tekanan. Selain itu, peningkatan fokus dilakukan melalui latihan konsentrasi dalam skenario kompetisi. Penguatan kerjasama tim juga menjadi bagian penting dari pelatihan ini, di mana siswa dilibatkan dalam simulasi pertandingan untuk menerapkan strategi psikologis yang telah diajarkan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan mentalitas positif, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan mengelola emosi. Selain itu, kemampuan kerjasama dan kepemimpinan siswa juga meningkat. Pengabdian ini menunjukkan pentingnya penerapan strategi psikologis dalam pengembangan karakter siswa, yang tidak hanya bermanfaat dalam olahraga, tetapi juga dalam kehidupan sosial dan situasi kompetitif lainnya di masa depan.
