Abstract

The development of digital technology provides great opportunities for MSMEs to expand market reach and increase competitiveness through effective branding and promotion strategies. However, there are still many MSMEs that have not optimally utilized digital platforms. This study aims to examine the process and impact of MSME assistance in utilizing digital platforms for branding and product promotion purposes. Assistance activities are carried out through training, technical guidance, and intensive assistance that includes the use of social media, marketplaces, and the creation of digital content that is relevant to product characteristics. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative method with direct observation and interviews with the MSME actors involved. The results of the study showed that after receiving assistance, MSME actors experienced a significant increase in understanding digital marketing strategies, consistency in building brand identity, and increased interaction with consumers online. In addition, there was an increase in the number of sales and a wider range of promotions. Thus, targeted and sustainable assistance can encourage the digital transformation of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic literacy, advertising, self-control, and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on impulse buying in Generation Z in Bengkulu City. The research method used is quantitative with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach with the SmartPLS 4 application, involving 86 Generation Z respondents aged 12-27 years in Bengkulu City who were selected through probability sampling techniques. The variables analyzed include economic literacy, advertising, self-control, and FOMO as independent variables, and impulse buying as the dependent variable. The results showed that economic literacy (t-statistic = 1.548; p-value = 0.122), advertising (t-statistic = 1.764; p-value = 0.078), and self-control (t-statistic = 1.897; p-value = 0.059) had no significant influence on impulse buying. This shows that although respondents have a good level of economic literacy, their consumption behavior is still influenced by emotional impulses. In contrast, FOMO has a significant positive influence (t-statistic = 3.872; p-value = 0.000), indicating that social pressure and the desire not to fall behind trends are the main drivers of impulse buying in Generation Z. From an Islamic perspective, this impulsive behavior contradicts the principles of consumption taught by Imam Al-Ghazali, namely balanced, beneficial, and non-excessive consumption. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that FOMO is a factor in impulse buying.

Abstract

This article examines the Islamization and the Islamic values, in the context of the spread of Islam through the case of Sunan Kalijaga. In relation to the Islamization by Sunan Kalijaga, the author considers it is necessary to reconstruct his Islamization, not only within the scope of Java, but also related to regional and even international connections. The word “regional” in this context is the archipelago as the “scope” of Islamization through the maritime route in 15th   and 16th century. The international connection is the relationships and networks that occurred during these centuries. To elaborate this material, I use the context and diffusion of culture as a theoretical framework. Theories related to the “context” related to the socio-economic and political conditions in the archipelago in these centuries. The cultural diffusion theory used to explain the Islamization of West Java and Central Java, the major places where Sunan Kalijaga spread Islam. The approach applied in this research is biography, history, and socio-cultural. The results show that although the major spot of Sunan Kalijaga’s Islamization was in Java land, the center of the Islamization process actually located in Aceh through the kingdom of Samudera Pasai and the Islamic kingdom of Aceh Darussalam. In addition, the process of dissemination of Islam conducted by Sunan Kalijaga has produced “the vernacularized Islam” in the archipelago, more specifically in Java, which is characterized by convergence, assimilation, acculturation and syncretism between Islam and local culture.

Abstract

Ibn Khaldun is an Islamic scholar with various works, especially in the muqaddimah book which explains the principles of taxation. According to Ibn Khaldun, the imposition of low taxes on the people will make the people more incentivized to do business and develop the business world. On the other hand, the imposition of high taxes on the people will be reluctant to pay taxes so that the production done by the people will decrease and affect the tax revenue itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Ibn Khaldun's theory and the current downturn in economic growth. This research method is library research research with a descriptive qualitative approach with the data source used is secondary data consisting of the book "muqaddimah" and other theories derived from books, journals, and official websites that are relevant to the research. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reason, form and meaning of arabization regent regulation (perbup) in Tasikmalaya and its implications for the national legal system. This departs from the arabization of Tasikmalaya regency that tends to be unilateral and less concerned about Sundanese writing. Using the approach of political linguistics and the theory of Mythology from Roland Barthes, it shows that Perbup arabization in Tasikmalaya district was underlied by history and sociological majority of Santri with Islam ideology since 19th centuries until now. In addition, the emergence of Arabization is legally inspired by the vision and mission of Tasikmalaya Regency itself as it wants to become an Islamic religious district. The implementation of Perbup arabization uses Pegon Arabic-Sundanese with three forms called the name of the Regional Work Unit, the official manuscript and the monument. Connotatively or mythologically, the Arabization shows that the regent of Tasikmalaya seeks to spread the ideology of Islamic Nusantara or Islamic Santri to Tasikmalaya society specifically and Indonesian people in general. While the implication to the national legal system is the incoherence of the legal system components in Indonesia.
