Abstract

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy and risk perception on entrepreneurial decision-making among young entrepreneurs in Indonesia. As youth entrepreneurship continues to expand and contribute to national economic development, understanding the cognitive and behavioral factors that drive entrepreneurial decisions becomes essential. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 150 young entrepreneurs aged 18–35, data were collected through a structured online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that both financial literacy and risk perception significantly and positively influence entrepreneurial decision-making. Financial literacy is identified as the strongest predictor, highlighting the importance of financial capability in shaping rational and strategic business decisions. Moreover, risk perception not only directly affects decision-making but also indirectly influences it through financial literacy, indicating partial mediation. These findings underscore the critical role of strengthening financial knowledge and risk awareness among young entrepreneurs to enhance their decision-making effectiveness and business sustainability. This study provides important implications for policymakers, educational institutions, and entrepreneurship development programs aiming to support the growth and resilience of youth-led enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia yang kaya akan sumber daya alam mendorong pertumbuhan UMKM, termasuk industri kecantikan dan barbershop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan di Blackwhite Barbershop Makassar. Pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, dengan path coefficient sebesar 0,541 dan p-value kurang dari 0.05. Selain itu, kepuasan pelanggan juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, dengan path coefficient sebesar 0,255 dan p-value kurang dari 0,05. Penelitian ini memberikan kualitas layanan melalui pelatihan staff, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, serta menawarkan layanan tambahan yang dapat meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Keberhasilan perusahaan dalam menjalankan usahanya sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas karyawan yang ada didalamnya. Untuk memperoleh karyawan-karyawan yang berkualitas yang dibutuhkan, perusahaan mengadakan proses seleksi dalam pemilihan kriteria-kriteria yang harus dipenuhi guna mendukung peran karyawan baru tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kriteria-kriteria karyawan baru dan kriteria yang paling penting diantaranya. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses analisis yaitu Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara serta pembagian kuisioner terhadap karyawan PT.Aman Global Pacific Cabang Makassar dengan populasi sebanyak 5 orang. Adapun hasil dari penelitian yaitu berdasarkan hasil wawancara didapatkan 3 kriteria pemilihan karyawan baru yaitu, pengetahuan dan keterampilan, konsep diri, motif dan sifat. Kriteria yang paling prioritas yaitu kriteria pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan bobot 0,49 prioritas kedua yaitu kriteria motif dan sifat dengan bobot 0,32. Dan yang terakhir yaitu kriteria konsep diri dengan bobot 0,18.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and optimize local economic potential to strengthen regional food security through the empowerment of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Cilacap Regency. Using a mixed-method explanatory sequential design, quantitative analysis was conducted through Klassen Typology, Static and Dynamic Location Quotient (LQ–DLQ) to identify base and prospective agricultural commodities across sub-districts. The results were further elaborated using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) involving key stakeholders. The findings indicate that rice remains a permanent base commodity, while cassava, soybeans, and sweet potatoes show strong potential for future development. Strategic priorities emphasize food diversification, institutional strengthening of BUMDes, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to support regional food security and the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to empower Risoles Maycake MSMEs, managed by housewives in Berua Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City. The partners faced various challenges, including inconsistent and unhygienic production, simple packaging without brand identity, and conventional marketing strategies. The program activities consisted of training on risoles production based on food hygiene SOPs, product diversification, professional packaging design workshops, and training on digital marketing strategies using social media and marketplaces. The implementation method was participatory, involving socialization, training, application of appropriate technology, mentoring, and evaluation. The results indicated an increase in production capacity from 20–50 risoles per day to 100–150 risoles per day, the creation of three new attractive and informative packaging designs, and the adoption of digital marketing strategies that expanded the market reach to three city regions. Positive impacts were also evident, with an average sales growth of 40% within three months after the program's implementation. Therefore, this community service program proved effective in enhancing the competitiveness of risoles MSMEs and strengthening the economic independence of housewives.ABSTRAKProgram pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk memberdayakan UMKM Risoles Maycake yang dikelola oleh ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Berua, Kecamatan Biringkanaya, Kota Makassar. Mitra menghadapi berbagai kendala, mulai dari produksi yang belum higienis dan konsisten, kemasan sederhana tanpa identitas merek, hingga pemasaran yang masih konvensional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan produksi risoles berbasis SOP higienitas pangan, diversifikasi varian rasa, workshop desain kemasan profesional, serta pelatihan strategi pemasaran digital menggunakan media sosial dan marketplace. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas produksi dari 20–50 risoles per hari menjadi 100–150 risoles per hari, munculnya tiga desain kemasan baru yang lebih menarik dan informatif, serta penerapan strategi digital marketing yang mampu memperluas pasar hingga tiga wilayah kota. Dampak positif juga terlihat dari peningkatan omzet rata-rata sebesar 40% dalam tiga bulan setelah program berjalan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM risoles sekaligus memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi ibu rumah tangga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh innovation capability dan blue ocean strategy terhadap competitive advantage pada UMKM sektor kuliner di Kecamatan Cilacap Selatan. Persaingan usaha kuliner yang semakin ketat menuntut pelaku UMKM untuk memiliki kemampuan inovasi yang berkelanjutan serta strategi penciptaan pasar baru guna meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner kepada pelaku UMKM kuliner. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa innovation capability dan blue ocean strategy secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap competitive advantage serta hasil R2 variabel X1, X2 mempengaruhi competitive advantage sebesar 55,3%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan UMKM dalam menciptakan inovasi produk, proses, dan pemasaran, serta penerapan strategi diferensiasi yang unik, mampu meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pelaku UMKM dan pemangku kebijakan dalam merumuskan strategi pengembangan UMKM sektor kuliner.   This study aims to analyze the effect of innovation capability and blue ocean strategy on competitive advantage among culinary sector MSMEs in South Cilacap District. Increasingly intense competition in the culinary business requires MSME actors to possess sustainable innovation capabilities and market-creating strategies in order to enhance competitive advantage. This research employs a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to culinary MSME owners. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that innovation capability and blue ocean strategy have a positive effect on competitive advantage, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 55.3% of the variation in competitive advantage is explained by the independent variables (X1 and X2), while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that the ability of MSMEs to develop product, process, and marketing innovations, along with the implementation of unique differentiation strategies, can enhance business competitiveness and sustainability. This study is expected to serve as a reference for MSME practitioners and policymakers in formulating development strategies for the culinary sector MSMEs

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Online Customer Review and Online Customer Rating on Consumer Trust among Shopee users, particularly students of the Faculty of Economics, Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University, Cilacap. The increasing trend of online shopping among students demands a deeper understanding of the factors that shape consumer trust in e-commerce platforms. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach, and the data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis along with several classical assumption tests, including the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and coefficient of determination (R²) test. The results indicate that Online Customer Review and Online Customer Rating have a positive and significant effect on Consumer Trust, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.514 shows that 51.4% of the variation in Consumer Trust can be explained by the two variables, while the remaining 48.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, the better the reviews and the higher the ratings given by consumers, the greater their trust in the Shopee platform

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influencedigital marketing, product innovation, and entrepreneurial orientation on the marketing performance of MSMEs fostered by Rumah BUMN Cilacap, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this research is based on the marketing performance of MSMEs fostered by Rumah BUMN Cilacap, which is not yet fully optimal despite having received various related training.digital marketing, product innovation, and entrepreneurship. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population in this study were all MSMEs fostered by Rumah BUMN Cilacap. Sampling was determined using the Slovin formula with a total of 81 respondents. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate thatdigital marketinghas a positive effect on marketing performance, product innovation has a positive effect and is the most dominant variable influencing marketing performance, while entrepreneurial orientation does not have a significant effect on marketing performance. Simultaneously,digital marketing, product innovation, and entrepreneurial orientation influence marketing performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.628, indicating that the independent variables are able to explain 62.8% of the variation in marketing performance. The results of this study indicate the importance of developing sustainable product innovation and optimizing marketing performance.digital marketingto improve the marketing performance of MSMEs and the need for the implementation of a more applicable entrepreneurial orientation in marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Leadership and Motivation on the Performance of Board Members at the Branch Executive Board of Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa in Cilacap. Leadership and motivation are important factors in improving organizational effectiveness and productivity, particularly in political organizations that rely on the commitment and active participation of their board members. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to board members of the Branch Executive Board of PKB Cilacap. The data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that partially, Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Board Members’ Performance, and Motivation also has a positive and significant effect on Board Members’ Performance. The coefficient of determination indicates that Leadership and Motivation explain 50.7% of the variation in Board Members’ Performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.The study concludes that the better the quality of leadership and the higher the motivation of board members, the better their performance will be at the Branch Executive Board of PKB Cilacap. Therefore, improving leadership capacity and strengthening board members’ motivation should be prioritized to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Human Resource Competence, Financial Literacy, and Social Media Technology on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Rawa Bendungan, Cilacap. The background of this research is based on the importance of improving MSME performance as one of the driving sectors of the community's economy, which is influenced by the quality of human resources, financial management capabilities, and the utilization of digital technology in business activities.This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of MSME actors in Rawa Bendungan, Cilacap, with a sample of 85 respondents determined using a specific sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis, including t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²).The results show that partially and simultaneously, Human Resource Competence (X1), Financial Literacy (X2), and Social Media Technology (X3) have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 76%, indicating that the independent variables explain 76% of the variation in MSME performance. The research model demonstrates that the three independent variables adequately explain the performance of MSMEs. Based on these findings, it is recommended that MSME actors continuously improve their competencies, enhance financial management practices, and optimize the use of social media technology to increase competitiveness and business sustainability. The government and related stakeholders are also expected to provide support through training programs, mentoring, and facilitation of access to financing.
