Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis penyebab kecacatan dan usulan perbaikan pada produk sopak dengan menggunakan metode Failure mode and efect analysis (FMEA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghindari segala bentuk kegagalan dalam produksi dan proses pengembangan, juga memperkirakan masalah dan menemukan cara yang paling ekonomis untuk menghentikan kegagalan tersebut, digunakan metode Failure mode and effect analysis sebagai strategi pencegahan. Metode Failure mode and effect analysis diterapkan untuk menganalisis kemungkinan terjadinya kegagalan, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan faktor keamanan dan pada akhirnya tercapai kepuasan pelanggan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan kegagalan yang dominan pada bagian pengelasan antara lain waktu mengelas kurang antara lapis ke lapis berikutnya, penyebab kegagalan yang dominan pada proses bentuk tidak simetris antara lain penempatan plat tidak sesuai, Penyebab kegagalan yang dominan pada proses painting antara lain waktu flash off kurang antara lapis ke lapis berikutnya. Untuk menghindari kegagalan dalam membuat produk maka disarankan untuk perusahaan sebagai tempat atau obyek penelitian, diharapkan agar dapat menerapkan kebijakan yang sesuai pengamatan ini, dengan tujuan akan bermanfaat bagi perusahaan dimasa yang akan datang. Kata Kunci : Failure mode and effect analysis, kegagalan, kebijakan, ekonomis. Abstract: Analyzing the causes of defects and proposed improvements to the sopak product using the Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method. This study aims to avoid all forms of failure in the production and development process, also predict problems and find the most economical way to stop these failures, using the FMEA method as a prevention strategy. The FMEA method is applied to analyze the possibility of failure, with the aim of increasing the safety factor and ultimately achieving customer satisfaction. Based on research that has been done, the dominant failures in the welding section include less welding time between layers to the next layer, the dominant causes of failure in the asymmetrical shape process include inappropriate plate placement, the dominant causes of failure in the painting process include flash off time is not enough bertween one layer to another. To avoid failure in making the product, it is recommended that the company as a place or object of research is expected to be able to implement policies that are in accordance with this observation, with the aim that it will be useful for the company in the future. Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis Kualitas Kemasan Minyak Goreng Dengan Metode Seven Tools Guna Mengurangi Kegiatan Repack di PT.WINA Gresik. PT WINA Gresik ialah satu diantara perusahaan dengan berfokus pada industri agroindustri. Pada dunia bisnis, kualitas adalah faktor yang sangat penting terhadap minat beli dari konsumen. Banyaknya kompetitor pada bisnis ini, PT WINA Gresik harus selalu menjaga bahkan meningkatkan kualitas produknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini antara lain : (1) Mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui faktor penyebab defect yang paling berpengaruh terhadap proses pengemasan kemasan minyak goreng. (2) Memberikan sejumlah alternatif solusi untuk perbaikan terhadap proses pengemasan produk kemasan minyak goreng. Metode yang hendak dipergunakan dalam menganalisa kualitas ialah metode seven tools. Berbagai instrumen statistik yang dipergunakan pada metode ini guna pengendalian kualitas ialah, Control Chart, Histogram, Flow Chart, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Diagram, Stratification, Check Sheet. Hasil pengolahan data dari tabel peta kendali p-chart, didapat nilai p (proporsi cacat) dengan rata-rata senilai 0.000317, Upper Control Limit (UCL) adalah 0.00032, Lower Control Limit (LCL) adalah 0.00011 dan Central Line (CL) adalah 0.00021. Diharapkan aksi cepat tanggap dari mekanik agar jika ada terjadi kerusakan atau trouble pada mesin bisa cepat teratasi, sehingga dapat meminimalisir jumlah cacat dan dapat memaksimalkan hasil produksi. Kata kunci: Analisis Kualitas; Minyak Goreng; Metode Seven Tools Abstract: Quality Analysis of Cooking Oil Packaging Using the Seven Tools Method to Reduce Repack Activities at PT.WINA Gresik. PT WINA Gresik is a company engaged in the agroindustry. In the business world, quality is a very important factor in buying interest from consumers. With the large number of competitors in this business, PT WINA Gresik must always maintain and even improve the quality of its products. The aims of this study include: (1) Identifying and knowing the factors that cause defects that most influence the cooking oil packaging process. (2) Provide a number of alternative solutions to improve the packaging process for cooking oil packaging products. The method that will be used to analyze quality is the seven tools method. The statistical tools used in this method for quality control are Control Chart, Histogram, Flow Chart, Pareto Chart, Fihsbone Diagram, Stratification, Check Sheet. The results of data processing from the p-chart control chart table, the p-value (proportion of defects) is obtained with an average of 0.000317, the Upper Control Limit (UCL) is 0.00032, the Lower Control Limit (LCL) is 0.00011 and the central line or Central Line (CL) is 0.00021. It is hoped that the mechanics will respond quickly so that if there is damage or trouble with the machine can be quickly resolved, so as to minimize the number of defects and maximize production results. Abstract

Abstrak: Metode Double Exponential Smoothing dan Arima untuk Meramalkan Kebutuhan Air Pelanggan PT Petro Karya Niaga Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan metode peramalan terbaik dalam memprediksi kebutuhan air pelanggan PT PKN dengan membandingkan metode double exponential smoothing dan metode ARIMA. Data yang digunakan permintaan air PT Petro karya Niaga dengan periode Juni 2020 hingga September 2023. Berdasarkan penelitian ini. Hasil prediksi permintaan Penjualan PT PKN menggunakan metode Double Exponential Smoothing dari periode Oktober 2023 - Maret 2024 berturut – turut pada bulan Oktober 2023 sebesar 833.596, November 2023 sebesar 825.279, Desember 2023 sebesar 816.961, Januari 2024 sebesar 808.643, Februari 2024 sebesar 800.326, Maret 2024 sebesar 792.008. Nilai error yang diperoleh yaitu MSE 44405.82. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi model ARIMA hanya terdapat 1 model saja yang layak untuk dijadikan model persamaan peramalan yaitu ARIMA (0,2,1), Model ARIMA (0,2,1) mempunyai nilai MSE sebesar 50168. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model yang paling baik digunakan adalah model ARIMA (0,2,1) untuk model peramalan permintaan air PT Petro Karya Niaga. Hasil prediksi yang diperoleh dari bulan 2023 - Maret 2024 berturut – turut secara berurutan adalah 810.57; 796.78, 783.65, 771.17, 759.33 dan 748.15. Metode double exponential smoothing lebih unggul dibandingkan metode ARIMA dalam memprediksi kebutuhan air di PT PKN karena menghasilkan nilai MSE yang lebih kecil dan waktu komputasi yang lebih cepat dibandingkan ARIMA. Kata kunci: ARIMA, Double Exponential Smoothing, MSE Abstract: Double Exponential Smoothing and Arima Methods for Predicting Water Needs of PT Petro Karya Niaga Customers The aim of this research is to obtain the best forecasting method in predicting the water needs of PT PKN customers by comparing the double exponential smoothing method and the ARIMA method. The data used is PT Petro Karya Niaga's water demand for the period June 2020 to September 2023. Based on this research. PT PKN Sales demand prediction results using the Double Exponential Smoothing method from the period October 2023 - March 2024 respectively in October 2023 amounted to 833,596, November 2023 amounted to 825,279, December 2023 amounted to 816,961, January 2024 amounted to 808,643, February 2024 amounted to 800,326, March 2024 amounting to 792,008. The error value obtained is MSE 44405.82. Based on the results of identifying the ARIMA model, there is only 1 model that is suitable to be used as a forecasting equation model, namely ARIMA (0,2,1). The ARIMA (0,2,1) model has an MSE value of 50168. So it can be concluded that the model is the best used is the ARIMA model (0,2,1) for PT Petro Karya Niaga's water demand forecasting model. The prediction results obtained from 2023 - March 2024 respectively are 810.57; 796.78, 783.65, 771.17, 759.33 and 748.15. The double exponential smoothing method is superior to the ARIMA method in predicting water needs at PT PKN because it produces a smaller MSE value and faster computing time than ARIMA. Abstract

PT. ABC is a manufacturing company that produces agricultural and plantation tools, with one of its superior products being sickles. The main problem faced by the company lies in the high number of defective products in sickle, so this study was conducted with the aim of minimizing defects in these products. This study applied the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method as a quality management approach to control product quality through the integration of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and SQC methods. Primary data was obtained through interviews to identify the causes of product defects, while secondary data was obtained from production reports and the company's defect count. Based on the results of the analysis using a pareto diagram, it was found that 88% of quality problems were caused by cracks in the sickle blades. Furthermore, through Risk Priority Number (RPN) analysis, it was found that the main contributing factor was human error, namely operators who did not understand the applicable standard operating procedures (SOP), with an RPN value of 315. This finding indicates that crack defects are a dominant factor affecting product quality.

Abstract

PT. XYZ produces fertilizers and chemicals for agro-industrial solutions. To maintain product quality, quality control is carried out in the water treatment laboratory. The increasing complexity of laboratory activities increases the risk of workplace accidents, such as inhaling reactive chemicals that can irritate the respiratory system and cause poisoning, or slipping while taking samples, which can cause injury. This study aims to analyze potential hazards and design control recommendations using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) methods. Data were collected through interviews with employees and questionnaires assessing the likelihood and severity of hazards. The results of the study identified 12 potential hazards spread across 4 work activities. There were 2 very high-level hazards, 9 high-level hazards, and 1 moderate-level hazard. This study provides control recommendations to reduce risks, such as controls including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) etc., thereby supporting improved workplace safety at the PT. XYZ laboratory.

Abstract

Perusahaan ini bergerak dalam bidang industri garment (retail hijab) yang mengikuti era modernisasi dengan melakukan sistem penjualan offline maupun online. Sehingga menimbulkan jumlah pemintaan hijab semakin tinggi dan perusahaan harus meningkatkan produktivitas karyawannya. Salah satu cara meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan yaitu dengan menganalisis postur kerja karyawan agar tidak mudah kelelahan saat melakukan pekerjaan. Karyawan yang mengalami nyeri pada sendi maupun merasa sering kelelahan mengakibatkan pengerjaan produk dengan lambat sehingga menyebabkan menurunya poduktivitas pekerja. Dengan adanya kuisoner nordic body map (NBM) membatu dalam proses analisis keluhan rasa sakit yang sering terjadi pada tubuh responden (karyawan bagian finishing). Dari hasil data yang telah diperoleh maka dilakukan penelitian menggunakan metode rapid entire body assesment (REBA) dengan harapan dapat dilakukannya identifikasi faktor risiko ergonomi sehingga dapat dilakukan penanganan dengan efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, karyawan pada proses finishing ini sangat memerlukan perubahan posisi postur tubuh ketika bekerja.

Abstract

Assessing service quality is one effective strategy for staying ahead of competitors in the field of service, especially customer satisfaction. Consumers who are pleased with the services provided by a business are more inclined to return and use the services of other companies. In this study, the service quality technique is used to examine the goals or gaps that exist between consumer expectations and customer satisfaction. This service quality analysis may be used to assess the value of interest or the gap between expectations and customer satisfaction for each feature. This survey comprised 100 people who used company services between January and November of 2022. According to the study results, all attributes on each dimension have a positive gap value, suggesting that the company's services are satisfactory. According to the dimensions, responsiveness with a gap value of 0.5475, reliability with a gap value of 0.5220, tangibles with a gap value of 0.4960, assurance with a gap value of 0.4920, and empathy with a gap value of 0.4833 have the best gap to the initial rejection. The responsiveness dimension of characteristic C4, which is the availability of people necessary to execute repairs, is the most impacting part of service quality at PT. Destini Maritime Safety.

Abstract

The industry is growing rapidly, indirectly forcing business actors to pay attention to the quality of the goods they produce during the production process. Companies must maintain the quality of their products because quality affects how satisfied customers are with a product. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in steel construction and fabrication. The problems that often occur are defects such as Overlap welding defects, Porosity welding defects, and unavoidable Cutting process defects. This study aims to determine the level of damage, identify the factors that cause damage and recommend corrective actions. Statistical quality control methods are used to identify the causes of defects in the production process, with statistical tools including: check sheets, histograms, Pareto charts, Control Chart diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. The results showed that product damage or defects were within reasonable limits but corrective action was needed to reduce defects. It can be seen from the Pareto diagram that the Overlap welding defects are 37.5% more than all product defects. Proposed improvements that need to be implemented by the company are cleaning the material before welding, performing treatment on the welding wire according to the Quality Control department's recommendations, checking the machine's stability before use and carrying out machine maintenance once a week.

Abstract

AbstactPT Petrokimia Gresik is a fertilizer manufacturer assigned by the Government to produce and distribute subsidized and non-subsidized fertilizers. The NPK 3 unit is the place where production be held. However, within March - June 2019 there was significant amount of decreasing fertilizer production caused by Rotary equipment malfunction. This occurrence caused unscheduled shutdown. PT Petrokimia Gresik experienced loss in many breakdown units. The objection of this study is to determine the factors causing the breakdown of 18C3101-2 blower engine in NPK 3 unit and to create the most effective solution to be applied while overcoming the 18C3101-2 blower engine breakdown in the NPK 3 unit. Problem of this study is what caused a breakdown of the 18C3101-2 blower engine in the NPK unit. This research applies the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method. The result shows that using the Fishbone Diagram approach figuring out the main problem caused troubleshooting of 18C3101-2 blower engine due to a clogged spray nozzle, the main cause of a clogged spray nozzle was the initial setting of spray nozzle pipe installation inefficient. Keywords: Rotary equipment, unschedule shutdown, Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Abstract

Introduction: Bronchial asthma is a disease that occurs frequently in Indonesia and is reversible and can cause death. The problem that is felt is bouts of shortness of breath when a recurrence occurs. Stress is one of the causes of recurrence. So a positive coping mechanism is needed to prevent relapse. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the coping mechanisms used and the frequency of recurrence in bronchial asthma patients at M. Noer Pamekasan Hospital, 2018. Methods: This research design uses Non-Experimental Analytic Correlation method with a sample of 39 people and uses Probability Simple Random Sampling technique. The research data were taken using a questionnaire. After the tabulation, the data were analyzed using the Rank Spearman test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The results showed that almost half (45.7% or 16 people) had maladaptive coping mechanisms and relapses> 5X / month, and a small proportion (11.4% or 4 people) had adaptive coping mechanisms and relapsed 1-4X / month. From the results of statistical testing, it was found that there was a correlation between coping mechanisms and the frequency of recurrence with a correlation coefficient of 0.430 with a significance level of 0.010. Conclusion: We know that the coping mechanism is closely related to the occurrence of stress and anxiety in a person. Meanwhile, anxiety is one of the causes of recurrence in bronchial asthma patients. So in providing nursing care, you should not forget about health education about coping mechanisms so that patients can manage the stress experienced so that recurrence of bronchial asthma can be avoided.
