Abstract

This community service aims to provide training to teachers at SD Negeri 8 Bengkulu City in utilizing the CRT approach to implement learning that liberates students. The training activity was carried out on April 27 2024 at SD Negeri 8 Bengkulu City and was attended by 13 teachers. Training methods are carried out in the form of lectures, discussions and practice. In the first session, participants were provided with an understanding of the concept of CRT and the importance of integrating culture in learning. The second session discussed identifying students' cultural backgrounds and learning strategies that are appropriate to the CRT approach. The final session focused on classroom management from a CRT perspective, evaluation, and collaboration with parents and the community. The training activity was carried out at SDN 8 Bengkulu City, which was attended by 13 teachers. Through this training, it is hoped that teachers can develop the ability to create a learning environment that is culturally responsive, respects diversity, and liberates students in the learning process. Activities are carried out using training patterns. After conducting training, teachers were able to develop teaching modules using the CRT approach. From this training activity it can be concluded that the training has an impact on the ability of teachers to develop teaching modules using the CRT approach.

Abstract

This community service project focuses on enhancing students' Science Process Skills (SPS) through the implementation of ethnoscience-based physics learning. The activity was conducted on August 1, 2024, at SMA Negeri 6 Padang Pelawi, Seluma Regency. The method of implementation included presentations, discussions, and hands-on practice with students. After applying the ethnoscience-based learning concept, there was a noticeable improvement in students' science process skills, both in observation and experimentation. Additionally, the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) models was evident in improving students' science process skills through collaboration and problem-solving. Ethnoscience-based learning not only enhanced science process skills but also deepened students' appreciation of local culture. Through ethnoscience learning training at SMA Negeri 6 Padang Pelawi, Seluma Regency, it is hoped that the learning process can leverage local cultural diversity. This approach not only develops students' scientific skills but also strengthens the connection between physics concepts and local wisdom. This culturally-based learning provides relevant context, deepens students' understanding, and makes the learning process more meaningful.

Abstract

Grafik adalah suatu bentuk penyajian data yang menggambarkan hubungan atau perbandingan antara berbagai variabel data. Kemampuan untuk menginterpretasi grafik merupakan keterampilan penting yang menjadi kunci dalam memahami informasi yang tepat atas data yang ditampilkan. Pada pembelajaran fisika, sebagian besar data disajikan dalam bentuk grafik, salah satunya dalam materi gerak parabola. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang tujuannya guna mengetahui kemampuan siswa untuk menginterpretasikan grafik materi gerak parabola SMA kelas X di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang dipakai adalah survei cross-sectional. Teknik penentuan sampel dengan random sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal dan telah memenuhi kriteria valid.  Sesuai analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa rata-rata siswa yang dapat menjawab dengan benar pada indikator memahami (C2) adalah 7,14%, pada indikator mengaplikasikan (C3) 27,14%, pada indikator menganalisis (C4) 43,57% dan pada indikator mengevaluasi (C5) 32,58%. Dan secara keseluruhan rata-rata kemampuan interpretasi grafik siswa adalah sebesar 27,61% termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Analisis tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru dalam menyusun bahan rancangan pembelajaran yang tepat dalam upaha perbaikan.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran dapat memudahkan akses dalam menganalisis fenomena induksi magnet yang bersifat abstrak. Kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi perangkat lunak telah mendorong perkembangan media pembelajaran, termasuk alat peraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan penggunaan sensor efek hall magnetik linier KY-024 berbasis Arduino Uno untuk alat peraga induksi magnetik, serta respon siswa terhadap penggunaan alat peraga induksi magnet menggunakan sensor efek hall magnetik linier KY-024. Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metodologi pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode ADDIE yang merupakan singkatan dari Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar angket analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media serta angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil data penggunaan alat peraga yang dikembangkan diperoleh dengan rata-rata validator oleh ahli media untuk alat peraga sebesar 86,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, validator materi dengan persentase 84,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan respon siswa terhadap alat peraga sebesar 81% dengan kategori sangat baik, maka data penggunaan alat peraga induksi magnetik sebagai media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat valid yang berlaku. Disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga tambahan dalam bentuk alat peraga berbasis Arduino Uno yang dilengkapi dengan sensor efek hall magnetik linier KY-024 dapat digunakan oleh guru Sekolah Menengah Atas untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami topik induksi magnet. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi salah satu sumber yang berkaitan dengan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai media bantu dalam praktikum.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pengenalan dan pemahaman tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan memberikan bimbingan teknis tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para guru SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan Guru dan Kepala SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan LPPM Universitas Bengkulu sebagai Lembaga yang senantiasa melakukan berbagai program pengabdian masyarakat guna menjalin kerjasama yang baik antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat serta memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan kegiatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan Provinsi Bengkulu. Rancangan evaluasi dengan melihat partisipasi peserta (guru) yang terlibat dalam kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir program pengabdian masyarakat dan dengan melihat berapa banyak Perangkat Pembelajaran yang bisa dihasilkan. Selain itu, evaluasi juga dilakukan dengan melihat keberlanjutan kegiatan Implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning setelah program pengabdian berakhir, apakah masih berlanjut atau tidak. Pelatihan yang dilakukan di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara tentang pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning mendapatkan respon yang baik dan keberlanjutan kerjasama akan terus dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the success rate of training activities based on the results of the response analysis of training participants in making e-modules using flip pdf corporate for teachers at SD It Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City. This research was conducted in July-August 2022. The target audience for this service activity is the education community. namely SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City. The target of this service is the teachers at SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City who will benefit from this training activity. In the plan for this service activity, observations have been made and the adequacy of facilities and infrastructure for training activities and there is support from the school which states that it welcomes this service activity to be carried out at SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City. The activity began with observations and interviews with a number of teachers and principals of SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City about the needs needed to assist teachers in making electronic teaching materials, especially those that can be used in the midst of the current pandemic. To measure the success of this activity, the team conducted evaluations and surveys in the form of questionnaires distributed to teachers. These results were then analyzed descriptively. The training activity for making e-modules using a corporate flip pdf for teachers at SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City was successfully carried out, this was evidenced by the positive response from the training participants to the training activities shown through the answers selected on the response questionnaire sheet.

Abstract

Brownian motion is the random motion of nanoparticles in the fluid. The concept of Brownian motion is one of the abstract concepts of physics. Thus, it is difficult to learn. Most schools also don't teach Brownian motion in depth in high school. Including the Senior High School 5 Bengkulu City. In fact, there are a lot of Brown motion applications. For this reason, the introduction of Brownian motion in easy-to-understand language needs to be taught to students. The method used in this research is the method of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. From this research, it can be seen that students are very enthusiastic about listening and answering every question that is asked. There is also a very active participation. The competitive spirit of students is also visible. So, it can be concluded that, no matter how difficult and abstract Brown's motion is, if it is taught in simple language, students are also able to understand it well.

Abstract

The knowledge of the student about harmonic oscillators is quite limited. The purpose of this PPM is to 1) increase the knowledge of Bengkulu City 5 SMAN students about Quantum Harmonic Oscillators and their application in everyday life 2) improve the skills of Bengkulu City 5 High School students in calculating Quantum Harmonic Oscillators using the fast-forward method to accelerate quantum dynamics adiabatic. PPM was carried out at SMAN 5 Bengkulu City, especially in class 12 IPA 5 on October 24, 2022. The research method was carried out in three stages. The first stage is preparation. The second stage is the presentation of quantum harmonic oscillator material using research instruments in the form of power points, the third stage is research evaluation.
