Abstract

The low level of fulfillment of learning needs is an obstacle for students; besides that, the use of a curriculum that is still based on a rote system and the lack of diverse values result in students being passive in the teaching and learning process. As students have a variety of characteristics that must be met, one way of learning diversity is Indonesian. This research aims to see the results of differentiated learning in the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language subjects held in class IX-A at MAS As'adiyah Putri Sengkang as the subject of research. Then the approach taken is qualitative with a descriptive analysis method, which is carried out in two parts, namely activity analysis and other files. The results obtained show that differentiated learning is suitable for practice in the classroom environment at school as part of the learning requirements in Indonesian language lessons. So the hope is that students can develop their learning activities optimally. This can be seen in the evaluation section, which shows the diversity that exists within each student.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on improving arithmetic operation skills among students with intellectual disabilities. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the One-Group Pretest Posttest Design, was employed, involving a pretest, an intervention, and a posttest. The participants consisted of 10 students at Bengalon 4 Junior High School who were identified as having intellectual disabilities. Data were collected through observations and standardised tests that experts had validated. The reliability scores were 0.731 for the pretest and 0.826 for the posttest. The data were analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality testing and paired sample t-tests. The results show that the Realistic Mathematics Education approach significantly improves students’ arithmetic abilities. The average score increases from 46.00 to 72.50. Additionally, improvements are observed across numeracy indicators, although not evenly distributed. Full mastery is demonstrated on questions 1 and 2 (100% for all three indicators), while questions 3 and 4 show complete mastery of two indicators (100%).

Abstract

The globalization process occurring in various countries demands cultural acculturation and leadership models and styles at the global workplace or at the company level. Various cultures that have significantly entered Indonesia include Chinese and South Korean cultures, mainly because these companies have invested in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the leadership styles of Korean-Chinese expatriates and local managers in multinational companies PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z when facing issues related to individual culture, personality, behavior, and differing beliefs, as well as when understanding the problems faced by Korean-Chinese expatriate leaders and local managers within multinational companies PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z in Indonesia. Based on the data analysis presented, it can be concluded that the cross-cultural leadership style of expatriates in PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z is employee-centered (democratic). The leadership style applied by expatriates in PT. X and local managers from PT. Y is seen in decision-making, leader roles, and delegation of authority. The role of expatriate leaders is performed by providing control in completing employee tasks, directing and controlling employees, and constantly monitoring the progress of assigned tasks to ensure they are completed quickly to achieve the company's targets, which are common goals at PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z.

Abstract

Abstract

Public trust is widely recognized as a cornerstone of democratic governance and effective public administration. In recent years, however, public trust in government institutions has faced significant challenges due to political controversies, policy failures, and the proliferation of misinformation in digital spaces. Social media has emerged as a critical arena where governments communicate policies, citizens respond, and public perceptions are shaped. This study explores the role of social media in shaping public trust in local government policies, focusing on Minahasa Regency, Indonesia. Using a qualitative research design, the study employs document analysis, content analysis of official government social media accounts, and secondary literature review to assess the dynamics of trust-building in digital governance. Findings suggest that social media functions as both a facilitator and a potential threat to public trust. On the positive side, social media enhances transparency, accelerates information dissemination, fosters two-way communication, and enables citizens’ active participation in policy discourse. These dynamics contribute to performance-based trust and strengthen social capital, consistent with theoretical frameworks by Mishler and Rose (2001) and Putnam (2000). Conversely, challenges such as inconsistent government responses, limited digital literacy, and exposure to misinformation undermine trust and exacerbate public skepticism. The study contributes to scholarly debates on digital governance by demonstrating how social media operates as a participatory democratic tool at the local level in Indonesia. Practical implications highlight the need for governments to institutionalize social media as a governance instrument, ensure consistency and creativity in content delivery, strengthen digital literacy among citizens, and collaborate strategically with community influencers to broaden legitimacy. By situating Minahasa within global debates on governance and communication, this study underscores the dual role of social media as both a vehicle of trust and a source of contestation in contemporary public policy.
