Abstract

When Islamic educational institutions have low student achievement scores, teachers become the main target because they are considered ineffective, unimaginative, and boring. Therefore, it is widely believed that in order to meet this problem, Islamic educational institutions need access to higher quality human resources. This research is qualitative, in the form of a literature review. The main purpose of this study is to explain the basics, objectives, and phases of growth and training in Islamic educational institutions, as well as the criticality of practicing them. The human resources of Islamic educational institutions can be made more competent and professional through training, while development can motivate those already on staff to focus their ingenuity and initiative in new directions. Knowledge, problem solving skills, ability to foster morale, reduce stress and frustration, increase job satisfaction, independence and hard work, and ability to face modern challenges are all enhanced through planning, design, training, development and evaluation stages. Islamic educational institutions must conduct coaching and training efficiently if they want to produce superior educators and education.

Abstract

This research investigates strategic management implementation in enhancing student learning motivation within Islamic higher education institutions through a phenomenological qualitative approach. An in-depth study explores motivation enhancement complexity by identifying three critical dimensions: structural, pedagogical, and spiritual. Research findings reveal that institutional transformation toward flexible and participatory models, student-centered learning method innovations, and systematic Islamic value internalization significantly influence learning motivation dynamics. Key success factors include transformative leadership, comprehensive mentoring systems, continuous faculty capacity development, and supportive technological infrastructure. The resulting strategic management model offers an integrative framework synergizing academic, spiritual, and managerial aspects within the Islamic higher education context, providing a holistic approach to stimulating student learning motivation

Abstract

In the digital era, Islamic educational management plays a fundamental role in developing human resources (HR) who are not only technologically competent but also uphold Islamic values. The digital transformation in education requires HR management that can integrate Islamic principles with digital skills suited to today’s educators. This study aims to analyze the fundamental role of Islamic educational management in planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising HR management in the digital era, as well as to identify relevant strategies for achieving a balance between technology and Islamic values. The methodology used is a qualitative approach through a literature review that includes examining Islamic educational management theories and analyzing the application of modern management approaches, such as the hierarchy of needs, contingency theory, and transformational leadership. The results indicate that integrating management functions with Islamic principles effectively supports the development of educators who possess both technological competencies and Islamic character. Flexible organization, technology-based training planning, and ethics-based supervision have proven effective in shaping HR that is adaptable to digital changes. The implications of this study suggest that Islamic educational institutions can strengthen HR quality through management strategies that balance technological skill development with character-building. This approach not only enhances educational effectiveness in the digital era but also reinforces the Islamic values embedded in every aspect of HR management.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Ilmu Kalam material in the Aqidah Akhlak subject and its influence on improving the academic achievement of Grade XI MIA 1 students at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, South Lampung, in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using a qualitative approach. Descriptive research aims to systematically present factual and accurate information regarding specific facts and characteristics of a given population. Qualitative research is used to explore natural conditions of the research object, where the researcher serves as the key instrument.The results of the study indicate that the teaching of Ilmu Kalam was carried out in a structured manner and emphasized an active learning approach. Teachers did not only deliver the material verbally but also directly involved students through discussions, question-and-answer sessions, reflections, and the use of digital media. This learning model aligns with the constructivist approach, which encourages students to build understanding through active engagement. Test results showed a significant improvement in student academic performance after the application of contextual and dialogical Ilmu Kalam learning. The success of the learning process was supported by several factors, such as teacher competence, availability of adequate facilities, and a religious school environment. Meanwhile, obstacles such as limited time and complex terminology were addressed through innovative learning strategies and motivational efforts. Overall, the implementation of Ilmu Kalam learning proved to be effective in enhancing students’ cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pengurus pondok pesantren dalam membina karakter disiplin santri putri di Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengurus pondok memiliki peran penting sebagai pembimbing, pengawas, sekaligus teladan dalam membina kedisiplinan santri putri. Pembinaan dilakukan melalui pembiasaan kedisiplinan waktu, penerapan aturan, dan pemberian keteladanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti perbedaan karakter santri dan pengaruh lingkungan luar, pembinaan yang dilakukan telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan karakter santri, khususnya dalam membentuk sikap disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran pengurus pondok pesantren sangat efektif dalam membentuk karakter disiplin santri putri di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) learning model to the mathematical problem-solving abilities and the mathematical reflective thinking skills. This research is a type of Quasi Experimental Design research. Data collection techniques in this study in the form of documentation and tests at the public school in Bandar Lampung with 30 students of experiment classes and 30 students of control classes. Data analysis techniques used are the normality and homogeneity test. Testing hypothesis in this study using the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test. Based on the result of this study, the calculation of the MANOVA test, it was concluded that there was an influence of the Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) to the mathematical problem-solving abilities and the mathematical reflective thinking skills. The application of the Model Eliciting Activities to the mathematical problem-solving abilities and the mathematical reflective thinking skills has a relatively  high level of effectiveness.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving ability is one thing that must be possessed by students in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine students' problem solving abilities with auditory, intellectual and repetition (AIR) and problem bassed learning (PBL) learning models in mathematics learning. This research is a quasy experimental study consisting of two independent variables namely the learning model AIR and PBL and the dependent variable namely problem solving. The results of the T test hypothesis indicate that the AIR model has a different impact / influence in influencing students' mathematical problem solving abilities compared to the PBL model. In the test of students 'mathematical problem solving abilities obtained AIR models are better at influencing students' mathematical problem solving abilities compared to PBL models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan implementasi gaya kepemimpinan kharismatik kepala madrasah berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru di MTs Nurul Iman Banumas OKU Timur. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan kharismatik yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam, seperti keteladanan, tanggung jawab, dan musyawarah. Implementasi gaya ini berhasil meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru melalui pendekatan pembinaan yang humanis dan keteladanan pemimpin. Nilai-nilai Islam yang tercermin dalam gaya kepemimpinan kharismatik berperan penting dalam menciptakan budaya kerja yang disiplin dan harmonis di lingkungan madrasah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas program pembinaan akhlak di sekolah-sekolah Islam Terpadu. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini dilakukan di beberapa sekolah Islam Terpadu di wilayah [sebutkan wilayah penelitian], dengan subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pembinaan akhlak di sekolah-sekolah Islam Terpadu telah direncanakan dan dilaksanakan dengan baik, mencakup berbagai kegiatan seperti pengajian, hafalan Al-Qur'an, ceramah agama, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis nilai-nilai Islami. Program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku positif dan nilai-nilai moral di kalangan siswa, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan rasa hormat terhadap guru dan orang tua. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan program meliputi komitmen kuat dari pihak sekolah, dukungan aktif dari orang tua, lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif, serta kurikulum yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islami. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat seperti keterbatasan waktu untuk kegiatan pembinaan akhlak di tengah padatnya kurikulum akademik, variasi dalam komitmen dan kompetensi guru, serta kurangnya fasilitas dan sumber daya yang memadai. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi peningkatan pelatihan bagi guru, pengembangan program yang lebih fleksibel dan inovatif, serta peningkatan kerjasama dengan orang tua dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai efektivitas program pembinaan akhlak di sekolah-sekolah Islam Terpadu dan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan karakter di Indonesia.
