Abstract

Abstract. Financial Distress is the stage of decreasing the financial condition of a company before going bankrupt. The strategy to anticipate it is by identifying the financial distress condition of the company. This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios, namely liquidity ratios, activity ratios, profitability ratios, leverage ratios to predict financial distress in infrastructure, utilities and transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The population used is the infrastructure, utilities and transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019, totaling 75 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. company research sample amounted to 24 companies. The analytical tool used is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the projected profitability ratio with Returns on Assets had a significant effect in predicting financial distress with a significance value of 0.040x0.05. The liquidity ratio projected by the Current Ratio has no significant effect in predicting financial distress with a significance value of 0.831»0.05. The projected activity ratio with Total Assets Turn Over has no significant effect in predicting financial distress with a significance value of 0.59720.05. The projected leverage ratio with the Debt to Eguity Ratio has no significant effect in predicting financial distress with a significance value of 0.647-0.05. For further research, it is better to use other variables to proxy for financial distress such as growth ratios, sales growth and so on, research can also be added from other sector companies for samples so that they can be used as comparisons with other sectors. For management, it can be used as a basis for taking corrective action if there is an indication that the company is experiencing financial distress. Abstrak. Financial Distress merupakan tahap penurunan kondisi keuangan suatu perusahaan sebelum mengalami kebangkrutan. Strategi untuk mengantisipasinya dengan mengidentifikasi kondisi financial distress pada perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio keuangan yaitu rasio likuiditas, rasio aktivitas, rasio profitabilitas, rasio leverage untuk memprediksi financial distress pada perusahaan subsektor infrastructure, utilities and transportation yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015-2019. Populasi yang digunakan adalah perusahaan subsektor infrastructure, utilities and transportation yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015-2019 yang berjumlah 75 perusahaan. Tehnik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. sampel penelitian perusahaan berjumlah 24 perusahaan. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio profitabilitas yang diproyeksikan dengan Retur On Assets berpengaruh signifikan dalam memprediksi financial distress dengan nilai signifikasinya 0,040x0,05. Rasio likuiditas yang diproyeksikan dengan Current Ratio tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam memprediksi financial distress dengan nilai signifikasinya 0,831»0,05. Rasio aktivitas yang diproyeksikan dengan Total Assets Turn Over tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam memprediksi financial distress dengan nilai signifikasinya 0,59720,05. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya ebaiknya menggunakan variabel-variabel yang lain untuk memproksikan financial distess misalnya rasio pertumbuhan, sales growth dan lain sebagainya,penelitian juga dapat di tambahkan dari perusahaan sektor yang lain untuk sampel agar dapat dijadikan perbandingan dengan sektor lain. Bagi manajemen dapat digunakan sebagai dasar melakukan tindakan perbaikan jika telah terjadi indikasi bahwa perusahaan mengalami financial distress.

Abstract

The territory of Indonesia is a country that has the fourth longest coastline in the world. This vast sea should be able to produce salt abundantly. This natural resource has not been processed optimally so that until now salt has become an imported commodity. This problem has not been able to find the right solution so that Indonesia does not need to import salt. Man's role is a very decisive thing in every production activity that he does. This research will explain salt productivity in terms of human resources. This research method is quantitative research, data analysis using multiple regression analysis. Age and skill have a positive and significant effect on the productivity of salt farmers. Experience has a negative and significant effect on the productivity of salt farmers. Age is related to the energy possessed to work on salt fields, to be able to increase salt production it takes strong energy and physical strength. Skills are needed in making technical steps about environmental situations and weather changes that occur. so with a strong physique and good skills it is expected that salt productivity will increase.

Abstract

In the increasingly fierce competition, a business must have a strong enough competitiveness to be able to continue to compete with other businesses, especially similar businesses. It is very important for a business to make strategic steps to be able to continue to compete with competitors. This study aims to determine the effect of innovation, creativity and product quality on competitive advantage at Vibar Catering in Gunungpati. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire by distributing questionnaires to 110 respondents. The sample in this study was some visitors who bought food and beverage products at Vibar Catering. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, hypothesis test: t test, f test, and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this research found that product innovation variable (X1) t-count 4.742 > t-table 1.6592 and significant probability 0.000 <0.05, so that partially there is a positive and significant effect between Product Innovation (X1) on Competitive Advantage (Y). Product Creativity (X2) has a t-count of 2.536 > t-table 1.6592 and a significant probability of 0.000 <0.05, so that partially there is a positive and significant effect between Product Creativity (X2) on Competitive Advantage (Y). Product Quality (X3) has t-count 2.982> t-table 1.6592 significant probability 0.000 <0.05, so that partially there is a positive and significant effect between Product Quality (X3) on Competitive Advantage (Y). Vibar Catering in Gunungpati, it is expected to improve Product Quality by providing reliable catering services in food and beverage products, because the Product Quality variable has the lowest regression coefficient among other variables. If product quality is improved, consumer confidence in the product will also increase.

Abstract

The objectives of this research to analyze the influence of BI Rate, Exchange Rate of mutual effect between Return of stock and trading volume (Study on Stock of Mining Sector that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 – 2015 periods). Population in this research is the mining sector in Indonesia during the observation period January 2007 until December 2015 (data from BEI and Indonesian Bank monthly published on BEI). Totality of the sample which has been used in this study was 108 samples which consists of 52 issuers. In this study, the research method is by using descriptive analysis, stationary test, VAR analysis, Granger causality test, Impulse response anlysis, and variance decomposition analysis. Hypothesis test, and R2 test.The result of this research shows that BI Rate variable has a negative and significant to stock return, exchange rate variable has a positive and not significant to stock return, BI Rate variable has a negative and significant to Trading volume, Exchange rate variable has a negative and not significant to Trading volume, Stock return(-1)& Stock return(-2) variable has a positive and significant to Trading volume, Trading volume(-1)& Trading volume(-2) variable has a negative and not significant to stock return.

Abstract

The capital market is one of investment alternative that able to yield optimal advantage for investor. This is very important to be made in consideration in compiling strategy and decision making of investment in capital market. The objectives of this research to analyze Stock Return, Trading Volume, and BI Rate in Stock of Mining Sector This research using time series data from BEI and Indonesian Bank. The result of this research shows that Stock return(-1)& Stock return(-2) variable has a positive and significant to Trading volume, Trading volume(-1)& Trading volume(-2) variable has a negative and not significant to stock return, BI Rate variable has a negative and significant to stock return, BI Rate variable has a negative and significant to Trading volume.

Abstract

In the 4.0 industry revolution, there are many entrepreneurial opportunities for those who can identify the existing business opportunities.  However, the interest in entrepreneurship in Indonesia is still very low, this has led to the rise of unemployment.  The cause of the increasing unemployment rate in Indonesia is the imbalance in the number of jobs with the number of graduates increasing every year. This research is proposed to determine the contribution of students' interest in entrepreneurship and self-efficacy to the readiness of students to become entrepreneurs towards the industrial revolution 4.0. The population in this study were university students in Semarang, especially the economics faculty who had taken entrepreneurship courses. This study took 97 samples of respondents. The analytical tool used is Structure Equation Models with Partial Least Square approach.  The results showed that the students' interest in entrepreneurship had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial readiness with a coefficient value of 0.309.  It means that the effect of interest in entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial readiness is 30.9%.  Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial readiness with a coefficient value of 0.655 which means the effect of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial readiness is 65.5%.

Abstract

Abstract Aqua is a Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) brand that has always been a Top Brand for 5 consecutive years, 2016 - 2019. However, in 2020 it only experienced an increase of 0.5% compared to newcomer products, which rose around 1.1% -1.8%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image, brand trust and brand awareness on the brand loyalty of Aqua consumers at Ibu Sendangdawung Store. In this study, researchers used a non-probability sampling technique using a sample of 99 respondents. The data analysis technique used classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test. From the results of data processing, the brand image has a significance value of 0.001 < 0.050. For the brand trust variable, the significance value is 0.047 < 0.050. And the brand awareness variable has a significance value of 0.040 < 0.050. All variables X1, X2, and X3 have a positive and significant effect on variable Y. It is hoped that Toko Ibu will increase brand trust by providing quality products and good service so that customers have a positive value for Aqua products because brand trust has the lowest regression coefficient among other variables.

Abstract

Tax is a state levy on individuals or entities that is obligatory and coercive in nature which will be used by the state for the prosperity of the people but does not receive direct reciprocity. Tax avoidance is an arrangement to minimize or eliminate the tax burden by considering the tax consequences it generates, and not as a tax violation because the taxpayer's efforts to reduce, avoid, minimize or alleviate the tax burden are carried out in a way that allows for tax laws. This study aims to determine the effect of audit committees, audit quality, and sales growth on tax evasion. This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling in order to obtain a sample of 135 companies. Methods of data collection using documentation. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. z Based on the results of hypothesis testing shows that the significance of the auditor's committee is 0.000 <0.05, so that the auditor's committee has a significant effect on tax evasion. The significance of auditor quality is 0.288> 0.05, so that auditor quality has no significant effect on tax evasion. The significance of sales growth is 0.000 <0.05, so sales growth has a significant effect on tax evasion. The coefficient of determination shows a result of 0.281 or 28.1%. For future researchers, it is hoped that they can add research samples to other sectors in order to be able to describe the condition of the company as a whole regarding tax avoidance

Abstract

The first case of the covid-19 in Indonesia was announced on March 2nd 2020, The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic eventually brought very bad risks to the world economy, including Indonesia, especially in trade, and investment. This research aims to find outthe significant difference between Trading Volume activity (Case Study on LQ-45 issuers listed on the IDX). These data have been taken for 31 days before and 31 days after the first announcement of covid-19 corona virus in Indonesia. In this study has been used 43 sample of LQ45 companies that provide complete data on a daily basis and have published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research uses Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The data processing results showed that there is a significant difference trading volume activity between before and after the first announcement of the covid-19 case in Indonesia. This is indicated by the significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, which the trading volume activity has decreased compared to before the covid-19 case.

Abstract

Fenomena rendahnya minat dan motivasi pemuda Indonesia untuk berwirausaha menjadi pemikiran serius berbagai pihak, baik pemerintah, dunia pendidikan, dunia industri, maupun masyarakat. Tantangan lain dari dampak era informasi global, peran manusia sudah tergeserkan oleh teknologi, ini merupakan permasalahan juga dari revolusi industri yang secara fundamental akan mengubah cara kerja, bekerja dan berhubungan satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kontribusi minat berwirausaha dan self efficacy terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha di era revolusi industri 4.0 mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi di Semarang. Populasi yang akan digunakan sebagai penelitian adalah mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi perguruan tinggi di Semarang yang sudah menempuh matakuliah kewirausahaan.Dalam penelitian ini peneliti akan mengambil 97 sampel responden dari mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi perguruan tinggi di Semarang. Daam penelitian ini alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu Structure Equation Models (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat berwirausaha berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,309 dan nilai t- value sebesar 4,049. Artinya, pengaruh minat berwirausaha terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha sebesar 30,9%. Indikator sociological adalah indikator yang paling besar mencerminkan minat berwirausaha. Self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,655 dan nilai t-value sebesar 9,360. Artinya, pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha 65,5%. Indikator yakin dapat menyelesaikan tugas yang memiliki range yang luas ataupun sempit (spesifik) adalah indikator yang paling besar mencerminkan self efficacy.
