Abstract

The study aims to find out the impact of the Predict Observe Explain (POE) learning model on the understanding of concepts. This type of research is quasi-experimental design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is all the students of SD Negeri Jepat Lor 01. Sampling technique uses non-probability sampling techniques taken purposively. The sample of the research is class IVA and IVB SD State Jepat Lor 01. The data collection techniques in this research are test and non-test techniques. Test techniques use pretest and posttest while non test techniques use observation, lifting and documentation. Data analysis techniques with normality tests, homogenity tests, one way anova tests, simple linear regression tests, and independent sample t tests. The results of the study showed: (1) There was a difference in student's understanding of concepts versus the use of POE assisted media Gerugi, demonstrated with a degree of significance of 0,006 and 0,001 < 0,05 using the independent sample t test and one way anova test (2) There was an influence of the usage of the POE Assisted Media Gerugi model on the ability to understand concepts, proven with the degree of importance of 0,000<0,05 using simple linear regression test.

Abstract

The study addresses the issue of students' low conceptual understanding. It aims to examine the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model supported by Smart Quartet media on enhancing students' conceptual comprehension. This quantitative research employs a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. Purposive sampling was used to select the participants, comprising grade 4 students from SDN Gondoriyo 02 and SDN Gondoriyo 03. Data collection techniques included both tests (pretest and posttest) and non-tests (observations, questionnaires, unstructured interviews, and documentation). The data analysis involved normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and simple regression tests. The findings revealed two key results: (1) A significant difference was observed in students' conceptual understanding when the TGT model with Smart Quartet media was applied. This was supported by an independent sample t-test significance value of 0.030 < 0.05. (2) The TGT model with Smart Quartet media positively influenced students' conceptual understanding, as indicated by a linear regression test significance value of 0.027 < 0.05. In conclusion, the Teams Games Tournament model assisted by Smart Quartet media significantly enhances the conceptual understanding of grade 4 students, highlighting its effectiveness in improving educational outcomes.

Abstract

Karakter disiplin siswa mencerminkan bahwa siswa tersebut tahu akan aturan yang sudah ditetapkan. Namun permasalahan yang sering terjadi yaitu siswa belum sepenuhnya melakukan unsur kedisiplinan yang seharusnya sudah menjadi kewajibannya di sekolah. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi terkait pentingnya karakter disiplin di SD Hj. Isriadi Moenadi dengan sasaran pesertanya adalah siswa. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu agar karakter disiplin tumbuh dalam diri siswa. Selain itu siswa menyadari bahwa dengan mereka disiplin dalam pembelajaran matematika yang selama ini dianggap sulit akan memperoleh hasil yang optimal. Kegiatan yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, memperoleh hasil sesuai yang ingin capai dari tim. Data yang diperoleh didapatkan melalui hasil observasi siswa saat pembelajaran matematika berlangsung. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan karakter disiplin siswa yang semula memeperoleh rata-rata 49% menjadi 91,25%. Dari hasil tersebut merupakan akumulasi dari rata-rata pada masing-masing indikator karakter disiplin. Melalui kegiatan ini guru senantiasa dapat menghimbau siswa dalam menanamkan karakter disiplin dengan berbagai cara sehingga berdampak pada berjalannya proses pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the problem-solving learning model assisted by the Pabala learning media in improving problem-solving skills among third-grade students at MI Gedanganak. The main issue identified is the low problem-solving abilities among students. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the population consisting of all students at MI Gedanganak, and the sample taken from class IIIB with 26 students as the experimental group and class IIIC with 26 students as the control group. Data were collected through testing techniques, namely pretest and posttest, as well as non-testing techniques, including observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using various statistical tests, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, regression tests, independent sample t-tests, and paired sample t-tests. The research findings indicate that: (1) there is a significant effect of the problem-solving learning model assisted by Pabala learning media on improving problem-solving skills, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) there is a significant difference in problem-solving abilities between students in the experimental and control classes, with a significance level of 0.014 < 0.05; (3) this learning model effectively enhances students' problem-solving skills, evidenced by a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, the problem-solving learning model assisted by Pabala learning media is proven effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keefektifan model pembelajaran problem solving dengan media belajar Pabala dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas III MI Gedanganak. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi seluruh siswa di MI Gedanganak dan sampel diambil dari kelas IIIB sebanyak 26 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IIIC sebanyak 26 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes yaitu pretest dan posttest serta teknik non tes yaitu observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui beberapa uji statistik, seperti uji normalitas, homogenitas, regresi, independent sample t-test, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran problem solving berbantuan media Pabala terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05; (2) terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,014 < 0,05; (3) model pembelajaran ini secara efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, terbukti dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran problem solving berbantuan media belajar Pabala terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

Bullying in the school environment has become one of the prominent social problems and has a major impact on the psychological development and mental health of students. Based on statistical data, in 2023, 21,241 children became victims of bullying and the highest bullying rate of 25% occurred in elementary school children. Children who experience bullying are at higher risk of experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, social isolation, and decreased academic achievement. In the long term, these negative impacts can persist into adulthood, affecting the quality of life and mental well-being of children. Students who experience bullying at school, whether physical, verbal, or through social media (cyberbullying), often do not have access to psychological support or a safe complaint mechanism. This causes many cases of bullying to go unreported or handled properly. In addition, the involvement of parties in schools, such as teachers, other students, and parents, in preventing and handling bullying cases is often less than optimal. Bullying prevention education needs to be provided to students in elementary schools to prevent bullying in the school environment. The involvement of teachers and parents is needed to prevent bullying in the school environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase children's knowledge about anti-bullying and children can prevent bullying by playing games, so that they can prevent mental health disorders in school-age children.   ABSTRAK Bullying di lingkungan sekolah telah menjadi salah satu masalah sosial yang menonjol dan berdampak besar pada perkembangan psikologis serta kesehatan mental siswa. Berdasarkan data statistik, pada tahun 2023, 21241 anak menjadi korban bullying dan angka bullying tertinggi 25% terjadi pada anak sekolah dasar. Anak-anak yang mengalami bullying berisiko lebih tinggi mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental seperti kecemasan, depresi, isolasi sosial, hingga menurunnya prestasi akademik. Dalam jangka panjang, dampak negatif ini dapat bertahan hingga dewasa, memengaruhi kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan mental anak. Siswa yang mengalami bullying di sekolah, baik fisik, verbal, maupun melalui media sosial (cyberbullying), sering kali tidak memiliki akses terhadap dukungan psikologis atau mekanisme pengaduan yang aman. Hal ini menyebabkan banyak kasus bullying yang tidak dilaporkan atau ditangani dengan baik. Selain itu, keterlibatan pihak-pihak di sekolah, seperti guru, siswa lain, dan orang tua, dalam pencegahan dan penanganan kasus bullying sering kali kurang optimal. Edukasi pencegahan bullying perlu diberikan kepada siswa di sekolah dasar perlu dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya bullying di lingkungan sekolah. Perlu peran serta antara guru dan orangtua untuk mencegah terjadinya bullying di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak tentang anti bullying dan anak dapat melakukan pencegahan bullying dengan melakukan permainan, sehingga dapat mencegah gangguan kesehatan mental pada anak usia sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Concept Attainment learning model assisted by the "Kotak Pintar" (Smart Box) media on students' problem-solving abilities. The research method used is quantitative with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was all students of MI Sabilul Huda. The research sample consisted of class IVB as the experimental group and class IVA as the control group. Data collection techniques included tests (pretest and posttest) and non-test techniques such as observation questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed a significant difference in the use of the Concept Attainment model assisted by Smart Box media on students’ problem-solving abilities. This is evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 in the independent sample t-test, indicating a difference in learning quality between the experimental and control classes. The average score of the experimental class was 94.07, which was significantly higher than the control class average of 67.27.

Abstract

Community service activities can be seen from the analysis of teacher needs in learning that can instill the creative thingking of elementary school students by using the Geogebra Media. The use of Geogebra on students can improve their skills and get better results. Activities carried out at SDN Jubelan 01 use the community development method which functions of preparation, introduction, socialization, training on the use of Geogebra and compiling creative thingking assessments, monitoring, and evaluation. The results of this activity that students' creative characters have been embedded by using Geogebra obtained an average of 85.08% very good category with an indicator of 91.20% of students trying new ways to resolve a problem, 94.30% of students using various media/sources to solve a problem, 83.30% of students ask about related material to get their ideas or ideas, 77.50% of students have a problem solving that is different from others, and 79.10% of students have many ideas and suggestions for a problem.. Therefore, the results of service activities in using Android-based Geogebra provide a visual experience for students to understand geometry material so that they can instill students' creative thingking in elementary schools.

This study used a quantitative method of experimental type with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Gedanganak 02 and SDN Gedanganak 03. In collecting data, this research used test techniques, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, simple linear regression test. The results showed that there was an influence of the TGT learning model using board diagram media on students' problem solving abilities as evidenced by tcount = 5,805 > ttable = 2,110 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and influencing the problem solving ability variable by 49.8%. So it can be concluded that the team games tournament (TGT) learning model using board diagram media can affect students' problem solving abilities. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair and Share Learning Model on Critical Thinking Ability. The type of research used is quantitative research using experimental methods in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of SD Negeri Gondoriyo, then the research sample was class VA dan VB SD Negeri Gondoriyo. The data collection technique used is the t test while data analysis techniques with normality test, homogeneity test, simple linear regression test and independent sample t test. The results showed: There is an effect of using the think pair and share model assisted snake and ladder bar chart on students' critical thinking skills, as evidenced by the level of tcount = 7.684 > ttable = 2.155 and a significance value <0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05 using a simple linear regression test.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of non-example learning models assisted by flat puzzle media on students' conceptual understanding of flat shape material. The study used a quantitative experimental type method with a form of nonequivalent control group design. population in this study were fourth grade students at SDN Langensari 02. While for the sample in this study were class IVA and class IVB. Data collection techniques used are test and no-test (observation, questionnaires, and documentation) Data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and simple linear regression test. The results of the study show: (1) There are differences in the application of the example non example learning model to the ability to understand the concept of fourth grade students. This is proven by the significant level which shows the sig count value of 0.000 and 0.000 <0.05. (2) there is an influance of the example non example learning mofdel using flat puzzle on improving students’conceptual understanding skills as evidenced by tcount = 5.436 > t table = 2.069 and a significance value of 0.000<0.05 and influencing the concept understanding ability variable by 56,2 %. So that it can be concluded that the example non-example learning model assisted by flat puzzle media affects students’ concept understanding abilities.
