Abstract

This research aims to discuss the hadith of the Prophet Muhamammad SAW. about flies if land on a beverage. This research method is qualitative through the approach of takhrij and syarah hadith with chemical analysis. The results and discussion of this research are hadith about the flies land on the vessel becomes controversy among the public, however a research can prove that submerging flies into vessels can produce positive results. The conclusion of this research is that the hadith has shahih quality and can be proven the truth of the contents of the hadith, that with chemical analysis the flies have right and left wings with different functions.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadiths about Muslims and other Muslims with a philosophical approach to carbon chemistry. The study of Islamic character values ​​contained in carbon chemistry has been carried out by exploring the philosophical charges in the material, the specificity of carbon atoms, bonds in carbon compounds, classification, and reactions in carbon compounds. This study integrates Islamic character values ​​to reinforce and reinforce the main ideas raised in carbon chemistry. The methods used are takhrij and sharah hadith which use content analysis techniques, analysis with a philosophical approach, analysis with a triadic model, and analysis with confirmation patterns. The results obtained from this study are: (1) remembrance of Allah SWT in the specificity of the carbon atom with 4 valence electrons; (2) maintaining the relationship of the patentable properties of the carbon atom; (3) happy to give charity and help from carbon chemical bonds; (4) be wise and fair when encountering differences in the classification of carbon compounds; (5) improve themselves and leave things that are not useful from the substitution reaction; (6) sincere in helping others from addiction reactions; and (7) patience and surrender to Allah SWT from the reaction of elimination. This study concludes that the concepts that apply in carbon compounds can be related to the values ​​of Islamic character education based on takhrij and sharah hadith with a carbon chemistry approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the hadith of the Prophet about the prohibition of blowing hot drinks and food. This research method is qualitative through the approach of takhrij and sharah hadith with chemical analysis. The results and discussion of this research is that if water vapor ( ) reacts with it will form a compound (carbonic acid). The conclusion of this research is takhrij and syarah hadith of the Prophet about the prohibition of blowing hot drinks and food by chemical analysis has the opportunity to reveal the hazards that occur when blowing hot drinks or food.

Abstract

Tempeh is a fermented food product that has the potential as a source of antioxidants and contains several nutrients needed by the body. The existence of innovation in terms of raw materials, namely the addition of other types of beans such as lima beans (Phaseolus lunatus L) has the potential to minimize soybean imports from outside. There are two factors that can affect the quality of tempeh during the fermentation process, namely the concentration of added yeast and also the length of fermentation time, so it is necessary to do research on the effect of these two factors. The method used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors and 2 repetitions. The first factor is yeast concentration with 3 variations (1.5%, 2% and 2.5%) and the second factor is fermentation time with 3 variations (42 hours, 48 hours and 54 hours). Furthermore, the analysis of the influence of these two factors on nutritional value using the proximate method (including water content, ash content, fat content, protein content and carbohydrate content), antioxidant activity using the DPPH method and organoleptic tests. The results showed that the addition of yeast concentration and fermentation time had a significant effect on the nutritional value, antioxidant activity and organoleptic. The best treatment was obtained in soybean tempeh combination of lima beans with the addition of 2.5% yeast concentration and 42 hours fermentation time, namely water content 60.92%, ash content 0.76%, fat content 1.33%, protein content 31.45%. and carbohydrate content of 5.54%, antioxidant activity of 34.23% and based on organoleptic tests are preferred and acceptable among the public.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the hadith of the Prophet. about the use of alcohol in medicine. This research method is qualitative through the takhrij and sharah hadith approaches with chemical analysis. The results and discussion of this study is about the law of the use of alcohol in medicine which is often used in the medical field. The conclusion of this research is takhrij and syarah hadith of the Prophet. about alcohol in drugs is allowed but does not contain addiction and intoxication, but only as a cure. The author recommends developing non-alcoholic drugs through chemistry.

Abstract

Gelatin merupakan protein yang banyak digunakan di berbagai industri, salah satunya industri pangan dalam pembuatan marshmallow. Namun, gelatin komersil yang beredar berasal dari hewan babi atau hewan halal lain yang diragukan kehalalannya sehingga tidak dapat diterima umat muslim. Sebagai alternatif, hewan air seperti ikan mujair dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan gelatin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gugus fungsi gelatin sisik dan tulang ikan mujair serta karakteristik marshmallow buah kecapi berbahan gelatin ikan mujair yang mengacu pada SNI 3547.2-2008. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu variabel yaitu konsentrasi gelatin ikan mujair dengan rentang 4, 5, dan 6%. Adapun tahap dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan degreasing, demineralisasi, ekstraksi, pengeringan, pembuatan marshmallow, dan karakterisasi. Hasil rendemen gelatin ikan mujair yaitu 10,20% dan identifikasi gugus fungsi menunjukkan gelatin ikan mujair memiliki spektrum yang sama dengan gelatin komersil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang nyata antara konsentrasi gelatin dengan karakteristik marshmallow dimana hasil terbaik didapat pada konsentrasi 5% dengan kadar air 13,70%, kadar abu 2,14%, kadar gula reduksi 10,78%, cemaran logam 0,29 mg/kg, organoleptik 3,59, dan aktivitas antioksidan 76,56%.

Abstract

Kanker merupakan ancaman serius bagi manusia karena sel-sel tubuh yang tumbuh secara abnormal menyerang organ tertentu dan berkembang biak dengan cepat, merusak sel-sel tubuh. Tanaman bintaro (Cerbera Odollam G) diketahui mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti alkaloid, terpenoid, dan tanin, yang dilaporkan memiliki sifat antimikroba, analgesik dan menunjukkan aktivitas sitotoksik terhadap berbagai jenis kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa mrtabolit sekunder yang terkandung pada ekstrak n-heksana, etil asetat, dan metanol daun bintaro (Cerbera Odollam G) serta mengetahui tingkat toksisitas ekstrak ekstrak n-heksana, etil asetat, dan metanol daun bintaro (Cerbera Odollam G) terhadap larva Artemia salina L dengan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) dengan nilai LC50. Penelitian ini menggunakan 450 ekor larva udang (Artemia salina L) yang terbagi menjadi tiga kelompok ekstrak, lima konsentrasi yaitu 10, 15, 20, 25, dan 30 ppm serta tiga kali pengulangan dengan perlakuan masing-masing 10 ekor larva udang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ekstrak n-heksana, etil asetat dan metanol daun bintaro menunjukan positif mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, dan steroid. Hasil mortalitas pada larva didapatkan nilai probit untuk mengetahui nilai LC50 yang ditunjukan pada ekstrak n-heksana sebesar 1,00033 ppm sedangkan pada ekstrak etil asetat dan metanol adalah sebesar 40,66053 ppm dan 74,15075 ppm yang menunjukan ekstrak daun bintaro berpotensi sebagai antikanker.
