Abstract

Istilah Etnomatemarika diartikan sebagai matematika dalam kebudayaan. Terdapat kebudayaan pada masyarakat Indonesia dengan konseptual matematis. Salah satu kebudayaan hasil karya masyarakat Indonesia adalah Batik. Batik yaitu hasil karya menulis menggunakan lilin diatas kain. Batik terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu batik cap dan batik tulis. Daerah Trusmi Kota Cirebon merupakan salah satu penghasil Batik terkenal di Jawa Barat. Dalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengungkapkan konseptual matematis yang terdapat pada proses pembuatan dan motif pada kain batik, selain itu dalam dunia Pendidikan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yag berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan dalam kebudayaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat beberapa konseptual matematis seperti geometri transformasi, motif yang dimodifikasi dengan applikasi geogebra dan photoshop serta proses pengukuran dan perbandingan dalam proses pembuatan batik. Dengan adanya penelitian ini siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami konseptual matematis yang terdapat pada batik, khususnya bagi masyarakat batik tidak hanya memiliki keindahan estetika namun terdapat konseptual matematis yang bisa digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

AbstrakDi era society 5.0, perkembangan teknologi membuka peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif pada materi persamaan kuadrat menggunakan Scratch sekaligus menguji kelayakan. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengembangan media ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (RnD) menggunakan model 4D, yang terdiri dari define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Produk yang dihasilkan melalui penelitian pengembangan ini adalah multimedia interaktif yang dapat diakses secara online melalui laman Scratch. Berdasarkan penilaian dari lima orang pakar di bidang pendidikan matematika, multimedia berbasis ICT, dan evaluasi pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan menggunakan Scratch tersebut sangat layak untuk digunakan, baik dari aspek desain pembelajaran, aspek rekayasa, maupun komunikasi visual. Scratch yang memiliki fungsi utama untuk membuat game dan animasi, ternyata juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membuat multimedia pembelajaran yang interaktif. Sejalan dengan itu, tulisan ini menyarankan pemanfaatan Scratch untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada materi lainnya sekaligus menguji efektivitas penggunaan media tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan matematika dan computational thinking siswa.AbstractIn the era of society 5.0, technological developments open up great opportunities to improve the quality of learning. One way is to develop interactive learning multimedia. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning on quadratic equation material using Scratch and its testing feasibility. The method used for the development of this media is development research (RnD) using the Four-D Model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The product produced through this development research is interactive multimedia which can be accessed online via the Scratch page. The assessment of five mathematics education experts, ICT-based multimedia, and learning evaluation shows that the media developed using Scratch is very suitable for learning design, engineering aspects, and visual communication. Scratch, which has the primary function of making games and animations, can also be used to create interactive multimedia learning. In line with that, this paper suggests using Scratch to develop learning media on other materials and test the effectiveness of using these media in improving students' mathematical and computational thinking skills.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara yang ada dalam regional MEA, harus mempersiapkan diri, agar tenaga kerja Indonesia tidak kalah bersaing dengan tenaga kerja asing. Berdasarkan hasil survey Hasil survei PISA 2018 menempatkan Indonesia di urutan ke 74 atau peringkat keenam dari bawah. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, sebuah kerangka teoritis yang muncul saat ini dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi oleh guru adalah Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). TPACK merupakan sebuah kerangka untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam mengajar. Salah satu model pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat digunakan adalah model pembelajaran STEM dan Digital Learning. STEM dan Digital Learning dikembangkan sebagai fasilitas belajar dan mengajar matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan dari mulai sekolah dasar sampai tingkat universitas. Sebagai salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang mengusung program Kabupaten Pendidikan. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan judul “Pelatihan Pembelajaran Inovatif berbasis STEM dan Digital Learning untuk Guru SD di Desa Cipondok, Kecamatan Cibingbin Kabupaten Kuningan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran TPACK bagi guru matematika SD di Kabupaten Kuningan dalam menerapkan STEM dan Digital Learning pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode pelaksanaan program ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu: perijinan dan analisis situasi, persiapan program (penyususunan modul dan instrumen), pelaksanaan pelatihan STEM dan Digital Learning, penerapan hasil pelatihan (menerapkan STEM dan Digital Learning dalam pembelajaran matematika), monitoring dan evaluasi, pengolahan data, pembuatan laporan, serta publikasi. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah adanya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Guru SD di desa Cipondok setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject closely related to everyday problems; the low PISA scores from all fields have made the government make breakthroughs to improve literacy and numeracy skills through the AKM. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of numeracy skills in solving AKM problems. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological design. The subjects of this study used one mathematics teacher and three eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura Sukoharjo for the 2021/2022 academic year. Using a purposive sampling technique in taking the subject, this study used three students of class VIII as the main subject of the study. In addition to the researcher as the key instrument, the researcher also used AKM questions, interview texts, and observation texts for data acquisition. The validity used is the triangulation of sources and techniques. The inductive technique is the process of data analysis used in this research. The results of the study stated that students' numeracy skills were not perfect, indicator three on giving conclusions was not given for all subjects used. Habituation in solving AKM problems in classroom learning is needed to train students' numeracy skills.

Abstract

Masih banyak ditemukan peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematis pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik pada jenjang SMP kelas VIII. subjek penelitian dipilih peserta didik kelas VIII pada satu SMP di kabupaten Subang sebanyak 30 Peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu berbentuk soal uraian sebanyak tiga soal kemudian di analisis dan di deskripsikan sesuai dengan kemampuannya utnuk pengkategorian peserta didik (kategori sedang, rendah, dan tinggi).  Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji rata-rata dan standar deviasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 4 peserta didik berada di kategori tinggi dengan persentase 13,34%, 19 peserta didik pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 63,33%, dan 7 peserta didik pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 23,33%. Sehingga, diperoleh kesimpulan mayoritas peserta didik memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang sedang sehingga belum memenuhi indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. There are still many students who have difficulty understanding mathematical concepts in linear equation in two variables (LETV). Therefore, this study aims to describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students at the junior high school level of class VIII. The research subjects were selected by class VIII students at one junior high school in Subang district as many as 30 students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was in the form of a description of five questions, then analyzed and described according to their ability to categorize students (medium, low and high categories). The research data were then analyzed using the mean and standard deviation test. The results showed that 4 students were in the high category with a percentage of 13.34%, 19 students were in the medium category with a percentage of 63.33%, and 7 students were in the low category with a percentage of 23.33%. So, the conclusion is the majority of students have moderate ability to understand mathematical concepts so they do not meet the indicators of ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Student errors in solving Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) category math problems can be caused by the learning process experienced by them. In the learning process, there are three interrelated components, namely students, teachers, and materials which can be described in a didactic triangle, namely Didactic Relationship, Pedagogical Relationship, and Didactic-Pedagogical Anticipation Relationship. This study aims to describe students' error in solving HOTS-category math problems and the causes of these errors viewed from the didactical triangle. This study used a case study method with a qualitative approach conducted at one of the senior high schools in Bengkulu Province, involving three 10th-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected by using test, interview, and document study techniques. The results of this research show that errors appeared in the completion of each HOTS-category math problem, consisting of errors in using concepts, calculations, and failing to solve the problem. Viewed from the didactic triangle, these errors occur when students do not learn through the resources provided, learning activities tend to be monotonous, passive-student responses during the learning process, and teacher only focuses on conventional learning. Thus, the learning process experienced by students is unable to encourage them to think at the HOTS level.

Abstract

Many studies measure self-regulated learning in some fields but still a few studies in the education field or related fields. This study aimed to analyze performance analysis and science mapping related to the research trend in self-regulated learning over the past three decades. Therefore, it was conducted using the bibliometric analysis method on 2106 documents related to self-regulated learning published in the period 1990-2022 from the Scopus database. Those documents are limited in the final stage, English, journal source type, and article document type. The chosen subject areas were art and humanities, psychology, and social sciences which have a relation with the education field. The data analysis process was assisted by Publish or Perish and VOSviewer software to examine the publication and citation-related metric, publication, and citation trend analysis, citation analysis, co-authorship analysis, and co-word analysis. The results of this study are the trend and development of research regarding self-regulated learning over the past three decades presented that: 1) the publication-and-related metric in this study showed that there were 2,106 papers related to self-regulated learning which distributed in range 1990-2022 that has 20,752 citations and the h-index value is lower than g-index value, 2) the publication-and-citation trend analysis showed relatively fluctuative in periods and constant in particular year, 3) the citation analysis showed that the most influential document is written by B. J. Zimmerman in 2008 that has been cited around 1664 times, 4) the author who has collaborated the most with other authors is Järvelä, S., 5) the United Stated is the most productive and influential country who make studies in self-regulated learning, 6) the most productive organization is University of Oulu, Finland and the the most influential organization is the Department of Educational Psychology, Graduate Center, City University of New York, and 7) the ‘self-regulated learning’ keyword has the most occurrence amount 1766 times. These findings provide an overview of the evolution of self-regulated learning research papers during the last three decades. This study examines a period of time that was longer than previous studies. As a consequence, its resulting contribution is also larger, providing an overview of the field's evolution over the last 30 years and providing other researchers with a comprehensive resource for performing self-regulated learning research.

Abstract

One of the essential mathematical abilities possessed by students is problem-solving ability. So that students can solve problems effectively, they need self-efficacy to help actualize and optimize their problem-solving ability. This research aims to describe the students' mathematical problem-solving ability based on self-efficacy differences. The method used in this research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects were three students in grade VII at one of the junior high schools in Serang City, Banten. The indicator of problem-solving ability used in this research is related to students' success in solving various mathematical problems. The results of this research showed that student with high self-efficacy was able to solve closed mathematical problems inside and outside the mathematical context and open-ended mathematical problems outside the mathematical context. The student with moderate self-efficacy was able to solve closed mathematical problems inside mathematical context. The student with low self-efficacy was not able to solve all the mathematical problems given.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Perkembangan teknologi perlu dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan tidak terkecuali dalam dunia pendidikan. Teknologi perlu dimanfaatkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya adalah permasalahan dalam penyusunan jadwal pelajaran pada beberapa sekolah atau madrasah yang ada di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah program pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan pendekatan service learning dalam bentuk pelatihan penyusunan jadwal menggunakan software Asc TimeTable. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program menggunakan model CIPP, yang terdiri dari empat komponen evaluasi, yaitu evaluasi context, evaluasi input, evaluasi process, dan evaluasi product. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek context, program yang ditawarkan sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh sasaran program, yaitu para guru/ustadz dan pengelola sekolah/madrasah. Pada aspek input, strategi program yang ditawarkan juga sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan dari sasaran program. Evaluasi proses pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa program telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Demikian halnya dari aspek evaluasi produk diketahui bahwa pemahaman subjek sasaran program sudah baik. Secara umum program yang dilaksanakan sudah berjalan dengan baik dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan hasil studi ini menginspirasi pelaksanaan program serupa dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi di era Society 5.0 ini untuk kemajuan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Asc TimeTable; CIPP; evaluasi program; penyusunan jadwal, society 5.0  [English]: Technology development should be utilized optimally in various fields of life, including education. Technology needs to be used to overcome problems in education, including the problem of preparing lesson schedules in several schools or madrasahs in Ponorogo Regency. The proposed solution is a community service program utilizing the service learning approach through training sessions on schedule planning using the Asc TimeTable software. This study aims to evaluate the program using the CIPP model, which consists of four components: context, input, process, and product. The evaluation results show that from the context aspect, the programs offered are under the problems the program targets face: teachers/ustadz and school/madrasah administrators. In the input aspect, the program offered is also highly relevant to the needs and expectations of the target. Evaluation of the program implementation process shows that the program has been carried out very well. Likewise, from the aspect of product evaluation, it is known that understanding the program target's subject is good. In general, the program implemented has been running well and effectively. As a result, it is hoped that the findings of this study may inspire similar projects aimed at optimizing the use of technology in the period of Society 5.0 for community advancement and welfare. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi semakin canggih. Keterampilan literasi digital menjadi sesuatu yang dibutuhkan di masa yang akan datang termasuk dalam pembelajaran matematika. Urgensi keterampilan literasi digital dapat meningkatkan pemahaman apabila dipergunakan secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa terhadap literasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Islam Riau yang pernah belajar matematika. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 152 orang dari beberapa program studi di Universitas Islam Riau. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner literasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika dan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Kuesioner dibagikan melalui google form yang terdiri dari lima aspek literasi digital dengan 20 pernyataan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif deskriptif persepsi siswa terhadap literasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika. Secara keseluruhan literasi digital siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika tergolong baik; siswa dapat mengakses internet untuk belajar matematika, mencari dan memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan untuk belajar matematika, namun mereka perlu meningkatkan  literasi media dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penggunaan literasi digital sangat dianjurkan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika saat ini karena siswa yang hidup di era digital dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman.Technological developments are increasingly sophisticated. Digital literacy skills are something that will be needed in the future, including in learning mathematics. The urgency of digital literacy skills can increase understanding if used appropriately. This study aims to examine student perceptions of digital literacy in learning mathematics. This study aims to discuss students' perceptions of digital literacy skills in learning mathematics. The type of research conducted is survey research. The population in this study were all students at the Universitas Islam Riau who had studied mathematics. The sample of this study was 152 people from several study programs at the Universitas Islam Riau. The sampling technique is the purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were a Digital Literacy Skills Questionnaire in Mathematics Learning and interviews. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire was distributed via Google Forms and consists of five aspects of digital literacy with 20 statements. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive quantitative analysis of students' perceptions of digital literacy in learning mathematics. Overall, students' digital literacy skills in learning mathematics are good; students can access the internet to learn mathematics, find and obtain information needed to learn mathematics, but they need to be improved in media literacy skills in learning mathematics. The use of digital literacy is highly recommended in the current mathematics learning process because students who live in the digital era can keep up with the times.
