Abstract

Abstract: SMA Negeri 8 Mandau is one of the largest schools in Mandau sub-district, was established in the 2011/2012 school year and is A accredited according to SK: 404/BAP-SM/KP-09/X/2015. This thesis aims to determine the analysis of the distractor function in the multiple choice odd semester exam in class XI students of SMA N 8 Mandau. This type of research is descriptive. The data sources of this study are multiple choice questions and answer sheets from a total of 196 students to be analyzed quantitatively. Quantitative analysis requires a formula that is used to determine the distractor function of the number of students choosing each option from the distractors. No less than 6 students with good criteria, choice A was chosen by 3 with bad criteria and C was selected no less than 2 students with bad criteria. Other choices in all questions also have good and very good criteria, but some choices also need to be corrected because they have bad criteria, and interchanged because they have bad and very bad criteria.Key Words: Distractor analysis, Multiple Choice Questions, History, SMA Negeri 8 Mandau

Abstract: The purpose of this research is (1) to know the history of the origin of the tradition of Pacu Jawi in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (2) to know how the implementation of Pacu Jawi tradition in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (3) to know the function of Pacu Jawi tradition for the community in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (4) to know the values that are contained in the tradition of Pacu Jawi in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (5)to know the shifts that occur in the tradisional of Pacu Jawi in Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience. This research use descriptive method with qualitative approaches which will give complete information that can useful to science. The result of this research show that the Pacu Jawi is a tradition which had already been passed down from ancestor since hundreds of years ago that is still maintained until now. Abstract

Abstract: Friedrich Silaban is a famous Indonesian architect from Batak land precisely in Bonandolok district of North Tapanuli (now Humbang Hasundutan) North Sumatra. Friedrich Silaban is increasingly recognized in Indonesia after winning the construction contest Istiqlal Mosque. The purpose of this research is to know Friedrich Silaban and its role in the construction of the largest mosque in Indonesia, the Istiqlal Mosque. To find out the life of Friedrich Silaban, to find out the career path of Friedrich Silaban architect, to know how Friedrich Silaban won the Istiqlal Mosque contest, to know the obstacles faced by Friedrich Silaban in the construction of Istiqlal Mosque, to find out the Istiqlal Mosque Settlement by Friedrich Silaban and to know the old age Friedrich Silaban. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data obtained from literature study results from various sources such as books, magazines, and internet media. The location of research from this thesis is in the city of Pekanbaru. This research has been conducted since the seminar exams The proposal is accepted until this thesis is completed. The results of this study found that Friedrich Silaban was born from the couple Jonas Silaban and Noria Simamora. Friedrich Silaban was born on December 16, 1912 and died on May 14, 1984. Friedrich Silaban was known as a Monumental Architect, because his architectural career career Friedrich Silaban handled many major projects and became a historic icon in Indonesia. And on July 5, 1955 the jury of Istiqlal Mosque construction established Friedrich Silaban as the first winner and performed at the Merdeka Palace, as well as conferring a gold medal weighing 75 grams and Rp. 25,000. Istiqlal Mosque was built on August 24, 1961 and inaugurated its use on February 22, 1978 by President Soeharto. Abstract

Abstrack: The purpose of this research is to find out the origin of the “oguang” rarak godang tradition, to find out the finctions and benefits, to find out the shift in the “oguang” godang rarak tradition in Malay at a wedding ceremony in Benai District. The “oguang” rarak godang tradition is a procession carried out jointly between 2 tribes and customary stakeholders, to parade the bride and from the bride’s hause to the bridal hause. The method that I use in this research is qualitative. From the research results it is known that the picture of the “oguang” rarak godang tradition has several functions. The first function is, 1. Tighten siluturrahmi rope. 2. Means of Communication. 3. Means of entertainment. 4. Means of sel-expression. 5. Symbol and parts of legality. 6. Enforcement of Community social norms. 7. To enliven a wedding. The significance of the “oguang” rarak godang tradition is part of the legality as well as the symbol or legitimate symbol of the only event for a wedding ceremony. In the “oguang” rarak godang tradition, 2 gongs and 1 drum are used which are played with beating with coconut and rattan midribs. This shift from tradition due to the lack of traditional musical instruments and the advencement of the times.Key Words: “Oguang” Rarak Godang

Abstract

Abstrack: This research method uses the classroom action research (PTK) method. Cyclical reseach procedures. Each cycle consists of four stages including: planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques through observation and tests. This data collection uses instruments in the form of student observation sheets and teacher performance observation sheets in the learning process, while to determine the quality of student learning outcomes used evaluation sheets or tests. Based on observation in SMP Dwi Sejahtera Pekanbaru student learning outcomes grade VIII is still low and many aims to improve the learning outcomes of social studies, through e learning models Exampl Non Example In result showed that the use of the Example non Example learning models could improve student learning outcomes in social studies subject. From the average pre cycle value of 68,86 in cycle I to 78,33 and in cycle II 82,66.Key Word: Example non Example

Abstract

Abstract: The attitude of nationalism among students today is classified as apprehensive, such as student brawls, not being solemn in attending ceremonies, not memorizing nationalist songs. This study aims to determine the role of teachers in improving attitudes of nationalism in learning history for students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. This study used a qualitative method by taking research at SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. The informants in this study were history teachers and students. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The results of this study are as follows: the attitude of nationalism among the XI IPS grade students of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru in terms of being proud to be an Indonesian nation, willing to sacrifice for the nation, love the country and the nation, accept diversity, pride in diverse cultures, appreciate heroic services. the whole is already growing among students. The role of the teacher in increasing the attitude of nationalism in the history learning of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru is to always guide and provide moral messages to students, provide nationalism values by telling stories of heroes in the teaching and learning process, using various methods so that students not easily bored, and this method is considered effective. Teachers 'obstacles in improving students' attitudes of nationalism are factors of different family backgrounds, school environmental factors and factors of globalization or the use of the internet that have a negative impact. The effort made by the teacher is to approach students so that they always leave actions that can damage student morals and provide religious values in between learning.Key Words: Teachers, Nationalism Attitudes, History, Students

Abstract

Abstract: Reog Ponorogo is a barongan art originating from Ponorogo, East Java, which is spread throughout Indonesia, one of which is in Titian Resak Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Riau. The research objectives are as follows: (1) To determine the early history of the formation of the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari Art in Titian Resak Village. (2) To determine the development of the Art of Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari in 1985-2019. (3) To find out the procession of the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari performing arts. (4) To find out the values contained in the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo art performance. (5) To find out the efforts of the community and local government in preserving the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Art. The method used is the historical method: (1) Heuristic. (2) Verification. (3) Interpretation. (4) Historiography. With the results of the research: The history of the formation of the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari Art Association began with the arrival of the transmigration community in 1981 to Titian Resak Village, and the association was formed in 1985 on behalf of the community. Until now, it continues to develop until now, although it has stopped performing performances for 14 years due to social deviations and the entry of keyboard music. In 2009 a new management was formed with many changes in terms of music, clothing, songs and dances and included many moral values, educational values, cultural values and religious values in each appearance. Smoothness in appearance cannot be separated from the exercises that are carried out regularly and supporting musical instruments and properties. The community and government play an important role in preserving Reog Ponorogo art by making Reog Ponorogo art a regular performer in Village events. Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is very rich in culture that encompasses different aspects of life. One of the cultures that the Indonesian people possess is traditional art. Each region certainly has different traditional arts that become its own characteristics. One form of culture is art. Javanese art owned by our land is the art of the braided jaran. In East Java, jaran braids were originally not a performing art, but part of a ritual. This dance is very popular in the community, especially the people of the Rengat District. Lots of people rave about watching this braid jaran show. The purpose of writing in this study is to determine the background of the entry of Jaran Kepang art into Rengat, its performance process, its function, and its differences from Jaran Kepang art in East Java. The research methodology used in this research is the historical method. Jaran Kepang art started to appear in Rengat district in 1960. Explain about the development of jaran kepang art in the Rengat district from 2001-2019. In the implementation part of the show, before the show starts, the players first prepare the items and tools that will be used during the show. When the preparations are complete, proceed to the opening. One type of dance is performed in one phase. The dances that are usually performed include flashlight, bendrong, buto barong, hanoman, buto lawas, sintren and badutan. The art of jaran braiding has a function as a means of cultural preservation, but also as a means of ritual, as a personal entertainment and as an aesthetic presentation. The differences that exist in the art of jaran wickerwork in Rengat district and that in East Java can be seen in the rituals performed by the pawang at the opening of the performance event, from the aspect of the dance stage to the final part.Key Words: History, Jaran Kepang Art, Rengat District

Abstract: Indigenous Peoples of the Sea Tribe (Mantang) is one of the tribes in Riau Islands Province which is categorized as an isolated society. These isolated or sea tribes are often identified as fools, backward, poor and always use magical powers (in their supernatural powers) in their lives. Indigenous Peoples of the Sea Tribe (Mantang) is a group of people who lack awareness and motivation about the importance of education for their lives are more advanced. The research aims to find out (1) to find out the history of the entry of primary school education to the children of Indigenous Peoples of the Sea tribe (Mantang) on Lipan Island Penuba Village (2) to find out how the role of parents in motivating Indigenous Peoples of the Sea Tribe (Mantang) children in Lipan Island Penuba Village to attend school (3) to find out the inhibiting factors for Indigenous Peoples of the Sea Tribe (Mantang) in providing educational support for their children. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this reaserch indicate that (1) the history of the inclusion of education in Lipan Island begins with the construction of a formal school that is SDN 006 Selayar (2) Indigenous Peoples of the Sea Tribe (Mantang) has been running the role of parents as a motivator and facilitator well in terms of paying attention to the education of his son (3) factors that become obstacles of children in carrying out the educational process that is the family's economic factors, the influence of environmental factors such as distance and time to school and low public mindset about education.Key Words: The Role of Parents, Education Motivation

Abstract: Pekanbaru Ressort HKBP Church is the first church in Pekanbaru that was established on January 21, 1952. The church was originally founded on Jl. Church (now Jl. Wolter Mangonsidi), then moved to another location on Jl. Hang Tuah No. 36 Pekanbaru, Sukmahilang Sub-District, Pekanbaru City District and was inaugurated on August 23, 1970. This study aims to (1) trace the history of the Pekanbaru HKBP Ressort Church, (2) to develop the Pekanbaru HKBP Ressort Church to be determined from 1952-2018, (3) to identify the contribution of the Pekanbaru Ressort HKBP Church to the surrounding community and (4) to identify the role of local government in the development of the Pekanbaru Ressort HKBP Church. determine.
