Abstract

Abstrak: One of the ethnic groups in Indonesia is the Mandailing tribe. The Mandailing Tribe is a tribe originating from the South Tapanuli region. The Mandailing tribe is one of the Batak sub-ethnic groups who live along the Bukit Barisan Utara Sumater province. The Mandailing tribal community also has a custom that regulates life that is preserved for generations which makes it a way of life and has norms or rules that must be obeyed by each individual. The purpose of my research is 1) To find out the history of the Mandailing system of kinship, 2) To find out the role of the Mandailing system of kinship in the Rumbai Coastal District of Pekanbaru City. 3) To find out the norms in the kinship system of the Mandailing Tribe in the Rumbai Coastal District of Pekanbaru City. 4) To find out the shift in the kinship system of the Mandailing Tribe in the Rumbai Coastal District of Pekanbaru City. The method used is the historical method by exploring and data collection techniques through observation techniques, interview techniques, and literature study techniques. The results of this study are the shifting of tasks from the Mandailing system of kinship in the Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City.Key Words: Kinship, Mandailing, Rumbai Pesisir

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to increase the activity and motivation to learn the history of students of class XI IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan in the 2018/2019 school year by utilizing the Movie Learning learning media. This type of research is classroom action research using 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings covering four stages of implementation, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation. Data analysis is explained descriptively. The results showed that the percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle was 52.76% with the moderate category increasing in the 79.58% cycle with the high category. Student learning motivation can be seen from the results of increased observation of the questionnaire, the percentage of students' learning motivation in the first cycle was 70.39% an increase in the second cycle to 88.85%. Based on the research results obtained, the use of Movie Learning media can increase student learning activities and motivation.Key Words : Movie Learning

Abstract

Abstract: Malamang tradition is a tradition of cooking lamang or lemang together or mutual cooperation to commemorate traditional ceremonies and religious ceremonies and is still carried out until now by the people of the province of West Sumatra, especially in District V Koto Timur, Limau Puruik village. The purpose of this research is 1) to find out what is the meaning of Malamang, 2) to find out the procedure of implementing the nighttime tradition, 3) to find out at any time the nighttime tradition, 4) to find out the benefits of the nightang tradition in the lamang for the people of Limau Puruik Village, V Koto Timur District Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province, 5) To find out what values are contained in the nighttime tradition. Research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis. The results of this study the nighttime tradition is still carried out by the Limau Puruik community, V Koto Timur District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This tradition is also part of the entry of Islam in the West Sumatra Coast. This tradition is usually carried out in religious ceremonies such as commemorating the Maulid Nabi Muhamaad AS, welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan, welcoming Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, commemorating the death ceremony which is usually 40 days of death and this tradition is also held in the month of lamang on the month of Sa'ban.Keyword : Malamang Tradition , Limau Puruik Village

Abstract

Abstract: Sintong Village is a village where the majority of the people are Malay tribe besides the Malay tribe, there are also other tribes such as Javanese, Batak, Minang and so on. Although there are many tribes in Sintong, the community still uses Malay cultural customs both in daily life, marriage and other customary events. Communities in Sintong Village recognize the tradition of entering tribes as a series of customary processes that will be traversed by non-Malay people who will carry out inter-tribal marriages by entering a tribe in Sintong Village. The tradition of entering tribes in Sintong Village is still applied in inter-tribal marriages and its implementation is carried out in accordance with the stages of the prevailing customs in Sintong. The ethnic entry tradition is inseparable from the kinship system used by the Melayu Sintong community, the Sintong community kinship system can be seen from the legal form in the marriage system that they apply, where the Sintong community marriage law is of the lineage and is closely related to the Malay tribe used. The purpose of this study was to find out the background of the non-Malay community following the tradition of tribal entry, to find out the entry requirements of the tribe in Sintong Village Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency, to find out the procedures for implementing tribal traditions in the marriage customs of Malay communities in Sintong Village and to find out the values contained in the implementation of the tradition of entering tribes in the marriage customs of Malay communities in Sintong Village. The method used in this research is descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The results of this study are that entering tribes as a tradition has long been applied in Sintong, entering the tribal implementation starting from looking for foster parents, meeting the top of the tribe of foster parents, after which new tribal entry is carried out.Key Words: Tradition, Tribal entering, Sintong Malay Community

Abstract

Abstract: The learning model Picture And Picture is a model that uses an image in the form of pieces to then paired and sorted into a complete picture, this model can motivate students to study the subjects of history is easy to observe, as well as enhancing memory so that the absorption material more quickly overpowered and at the time of the evaluation results would be better. By applying this model can help to more active involvement of the student so that students more easily understand the material they receive and to help improve the mastery of the subject matter so that can improve result student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is 1) to determine the level of activity of teachers with penerpan learning model Picture And Picture, 2) to determine the activity of learners with the application of Picture And Picture, 3) to determine how much an increase in the study of students with learning model Picture And pictur. This study was conducted 2 cycles. Subjects in this study were all students of class X SMA N 1 XIII Koto Kampar totaling 34 technical analysis of the data in this study using quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the activity of a teacher for two cycles has risen 17 with enough categories and 21 in both categories in the first cycle and 23 with very good categories and 24 very well in the second cycle. Activities of students has increased by a score of 335 with less category and 444 with enough categories in the first cycle, a score of 674 with both categories and 907 with excellent category on the second cycle. While learning the test results of students has increased during two cycles of the first cycle with an average value of 72.35 increased to 86.47 in the second cycle, it can be disimpulakan that using models Picture And Pictur can increase the activity of teachers, student activities and results test subjects learn the history of class X SMA N 1 XIII Koto Kampar.Keywords: Learning Model Picture And Picture, Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: In the traditional view, women are identical as weak, delicate and emotional. Along with the emancipation movement more and more women can appear at the forefront as leaders who were previously dominated by men. Many efforts have been made by Riau women leaders to promote their fellow human beings. One of them is Hj. Roslaini who seeks to advance women through various women's organizations in Riau. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the life history of Hj. Roslaini, 2) to find out the role of Hj. Roslaini in empowering woman at Riau, 3) to find out the challenges faced by Hj. Roslaini in empowering women at Riau, 4) to find out the existence of Hj. Roslaini at empowering woman right now. The research uses the historical method and data obtained from the interviews plus data obtained from books and archives. The results of this study Hj. Roslaini was born on September 27, 1938 in Pasir Pengaraian from the couple Djadin bin Pinang and Baiyah binti M. Karim. Hj. Roslaini became active in women's organizations in 1970, through these organizations Hj. Roslaini seeks to empower women. The organization that had been followed by Hj. Roslaini is PERTIWI, Dharma Wanita, PKK, BKOW, BKKKS, BKMT, Pusdatin Puanri and PRBF. In an effort to empower women Hj. Roslaini has the challenge of managing members of her organization, lack of understanding and concern for women in education and health, lack of women's self-confidence and people's perspectives on abilities. Abstract: 1998 is a new milestone for the growth of the struggle Indonesian press, along with opening of the door of reform to establish a new political partai, the print media emerged and grow very rapidly. Developments in Riau newspaper can thrive well in compasison the new orde only one daily newspaper (Riau Pos) and one weekly newspaper (Genta) are active today orde of print media to survive until now. In 2004 Riau own 60 poblications includding approximately is daily, 35 weekly and tabloid magazine and newspaper as well as a number of camps. This study aims to determine (1) the development of newspaper before the reform period in riau. (2) to asess progress of newpaper reform period in riau. (3) The character of Riau press figure. (4) the impact of press freedom in Riau. As for this research uses qualitative research method to approach history and data collection techniques in the form of literature, observation, documentation and interview. This study has shown that development of newspaper in Riau reform period has developed very well which is caused because the press get legal recognition 40 of 1999 of the press.Key Words: Reform, Newspaper

Abstract

Abstract: Surau is one of the institutions that play an important role in the development of religious moral values as well as the cultural customs of Minangkabau, the success in educational process of Minangkabau children in surau is characterized by cleverness of recitation, obedience to worship, morals, and noble personality. The purpose of this research is to know (1) the role of surau in the life of Minangkabau society before the turn of the surau role in Lima kaum District. (2) the role of the surau in the life of the Minangkabau community after the role of surau in the district of Lima kaum. (3) factors influencing the role of surau to the life of the Minangkabau in Lima kaum District. (4) the role of a teacher in the surau before and after the overarching role of the surau in Lima kaum District. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data obtained from the interviews are then analyzed in their own language. The location of the research is the Lima kaum District Tanah DatarRegency. This research started from the beginning of the title of this researcher submitted until this thesis is completed. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, documentation techniques, interview techniques and literature study techniques. The result of the research shows that surau as agent of cangeh has undergone a switching role which is caused by factors, namely, change of family system in Minangkabau society, change of pattern of merantau in Minangkabau society, existence of better education institution and absence of teacher.Keywords: Transition, Role, Surau

Abstract

Abstract: The kingdom of Siak is a Malay-style kingdom that was established in 1723 in Buantan with its first king, Raja Kecik who was the son of Mahmud Syah II and his mother Cik Pung. Throughout the establishment of this kingdom there were twelve sultans who led, in this scientific work discussing the Officials of the Sultan during the reign of Sultan Syarif Hasyim in Siak Sri Indrapura. The objectives of this research are (1) To find out the structure of the government of Siak Kingdom in the government of Sultan Syarif Hasyim (2) To find out the role of officials in the reign of Sultan Syarif Hasyim in carrying out their duties. (3) To find out the condition of the Siak Kingdom when officials carry out their roles and duties. (4) To find out the position of the officials when the death of Sultan Syarif Hasyim. The research method used in this study is the interview method and literature. The results of the research on the role of officials who assisted the Sultan in the Sultan Syarif Hasyim's government have been listed and explained in Babul Qawaid based on the Chapters and the articles contained therein. Glory. The kingdom of Siak occurred during the reign of Sultan Syarif Hasyim. During the reign of Sultan Syarif Hasyim, he was also assisted and supported by the Officials of the Siak Kingdom. The position of Kingdom officials after the death / death of Sultan Syarif Hasyim until the appointment of Sultan Syarif Qasyim II, his position has not changed. Abstract

Abstract: The Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center was built based on the idea of the Regent at that time, Mr. Drs. H. Achmad, M.Si, that the mosque was founded because in the Rokan Hulu Regency area there was no representative mosque to serve as a place of prayer and religious activities at the district level. In 2015 the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center was awarded as the best mosque in Riau Province. The purposes of this study are 1) To find out the background of the establishment of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center in Pasir Pengaraian Rokan Hulu Regency 2) To find out the function and role of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center on community life in Rokan Hulu Regency 3) To determine the impact of the existence of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center towar life in Rokan Hulu Regency 4) To find out tourists' perceptions of the existence of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center in Rokan Hulu Regency. The method of this research is qualitative and quantitative.
