Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini melalui permainan Bowling Kaleng. Berhitung adalah kemampuan setiap anak dalam matematika seperti menyebutkan angka-angka atau menghitung dan mengetahui angka. Mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini dapat dilakukan melalui permainan. Hal ini akan lebih efektif karena dunia anak adalah dunia bermain, di mana permainan Bowling Kaleng adalah salah satunya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan terhadap 30 anak di kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Gogorante, Kediri. Usia mereka antara 5-6 tahun, terdiri dari 16 anak laki-laki dan 14 anak perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dalam 2 putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat fase; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada awal bulan Januari 2016. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran melalui permainan Bowling Kaleng dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak. Rata-rata kemampuan anak untuk menghitung, menambah, dan mengurangi bertambah di akhir putaran. Melalui permainan ini, anak belajar untuk berhitung objek nyata yang mereka sukai dalam atmosfer yang menyenangkan dan nyaman.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations and experiences of researchers, that the ability to recognize the letters of the alphabet of students is still very low. The activeness of children in the process of learning to recognize the letters of the alphabet is also lacking. Lack of children's activity in the learning process is very influential on the development and learning outcomes of students. The learning strategies that have been used by teachers so far have not attracted children's interest, so that in the learning process children feel bored. The purpose of carrying out this research was to develop the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet using snack packs for students in group B KB Pelita Hati, Sidem Village, Gondang District, Tulungagung Regency, for the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach with 12 students in group B KB Pelita Hati, Sidem Village, Gondang District, Tulungagung Regency, for the 2022/2023 academic year, consisting of 5 boys and 7 girls. This research was conducted in two cycles, using instruments in the form of children's performance assessment sheets teacher observation sheets in learning activities. Each cycle is carried out in 1 meeting, covering the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The conclusion of the results of this study is that learning using snack pack media is proven to be able to develop the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in group B students of Pelita Hati KB Sidem Village, Gondang District, Tulungagung Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The percentage of learning completeness in Cycle I was 58.3% then rose to 75% in Cycle II.ABSTRAKLatar belakang dari penelitian ini dihasilkan dari pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad anak didik masih sangat rendah. Keaktifan anak pada proses pembelajaran mengenal huruf abjad juga masih kurang. Kurangnya keaktifan anak dalam proses pembelajaran ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan dan hasil belajar anak didik. Strategi pembelajaran yang selama ini digunakan oleh guru kurang menarik minat anak, sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran anak merasa bosan. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad menggunakan media bungkus snack pada anak didik kelompok B KB Pelita Hati Desa Sidem Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Tulungagung Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subyek penelitian 12 anak didik kelompok B KB Pelita Hati Desa Sidem Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Tulungagung Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023, yang terdiri dari 5 anak lali-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar penilaian unjuk kerja anak lembar observasi guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam 1 pertemuan, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Ikhtisar dari hasil penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran menggunakan media bungkus snack terbukti dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad pada anak didik kelompok B KB Pelita Hati Desa Sidem Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Tulungagung Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Persentase ketuntasan belajar pada Siklus I sebesar 58,3% kemudian naik menjadi 75% pada Siklus II.

Abstract

During the early age range, children experience rapid development in various aspects. Seeing the importance of this period, appropriate stimulation efforts from the environment are needed to optimize the development of all abilities of children, including the ability to begin reading. Kindergarten children have begun to be taught to read the beginning but must be in accordance with the stages of child development, without coercion, in a fun way and should be guided by the teacher because it basically provides learning to start reading in early childhood must be with a playful atmosphere pleasant and no pressure. But in reality the process of learning to begin reading in kindergarten is still rampant using reading learning strategies that are too academic and rigid like in Elementary Schools. Therefore, researchers designed an educational game called Happy Ball that uses picture word cards. Through this Happy Ball game, it is hoped that the atmosphere of early reading learning activities for young children will be interesting and fun, the ability to read the beginning of the child is expected to be directed and develop better in a happy atmosphere. It is hoped that this game can also be used by educators to develop early reading skills in early childhood.

Abstract

Menulis kreatif menekankan pada sikap aktif untuk menulis lalu menemukan proses kreatifnya agar tulisan jadi baik dan menarik. Menulis kreatif adalah menulis untuk sastra termasuk dongeng. Dongeng ialah bentuk sastra lama yang menceritakan kejadian yang penuh khayalan. Cerita dari dongeng dapat dipetik banyak manfaatnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh pemberian pelatihan menulis kreatif terhadap keterampilan menulis dongeng anak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 50 orang lagi sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik convenience sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif tipe quasi experimental yang menggunakan desain non-randomized pretest-postest control group. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner berbentuk skala likert. Analisis datanya dilakukan dengan teknik uji t-dua sampel. Nilai sig yang telah diperoleh sebesar 0,0001, kurang dari nilai alpha yang ditetapkan yaitu 0,05. Ini berarti pelatihan menulis kreatif telah terbukti secara empiris memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis dongeng anak.

Abstract

The child's attitude of not wanting to cooperate with friends to play together and the lack of group activities causes the child's cooperative character values less developed, resulting in an attitude of not caring about friends. Instilling the value of character education plays a vital role in supporting the Pancasila student profile program. This research explores the role of the Dolananku box game in strengthening the character values of cooperation and creativity based on the Pancasila student profile in early childhood. The type of research used is quasi-experimental. The research subjects were 62 children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques use tests and observations, while data analysis techniques use the Wilcoxon and Independent t-test. The research results show that applying the Dolananku box game has significantly strengthened children's cooperative and creative character values. The research concludes that there is an increase in the strengthening of cooperation and creative character values after being taught using the Dolananku box game compared to the abilities of children who were not given the Dolananku box game. The research implies a change in the value of cooperation, shown in the behavior of working together to assemble blocks into a work, and children can string beads.

Abstract

Children who have difficulty expressing their wants and needs are more likely to be helped and fail to gain independence. Providing stimulation to foster communication skills starting from an early age through play and media activities. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Hello Book media on early childhood language skills. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment (quasi-experiment). The population in this study were students of group B of two Kindergarten Institutions. The data collection technique uses observation to determine the level of development of language skills. The hypothesis test used is the Independent t-test parametric statistical test. According to the calculation results obtained t = -4,303 with a sig value. = 0.0001. The difference in the mean value between the experimental group and the control group was 2,150. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Hello Book media in learning has a positive and significant effect on children's language skills in Kindergarten.

Abstract

As the core environment most familiar to children, the family contributes to the awareness, cultivation, and development of children's character. The internalization of family character values ​​in children will tend to be more inherent than the results of character cultivation at school. This research aims to describe character education for children based on the family environment. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods. The necessary data was collected through literature study and then interpreted to describe character education for children carried out by parents in the family environment. Character education for children based on the family environment is an effort made by parents in the family to educate children to have a character that is in line with ethical values. Character education must start from the family to form a noble personality. The parenting style in the family is closely related to forming the child's character. This character will be carried over until the child becomes an adult and married. The family does have a vital role in building a child's character, but children also have the right to choose their world. If a child's actions are wrong, the family must provide guidance, direction, example, and practice instilling good moral values ​​in the child. Every family must understand and be aware that the child's character is very dependent on the character education process in the family.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of the Healthy School Movement (Gerakan Sekolah Sehat, GSS) in Early Childhood Education (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, PAUD) in Kediri Regency. The primary issue is the low awareness of healthy lifestyle practices in PAUD settings, impacting children’s health and development. The approach included educational material delivery, hygiene practice demonstrations, and interactive discussions involving 90 educators, supervisors, and PAUD inspectors. Conducted in partnership with the Kediri Regency Education Office, the program ensured relevance and sustainability. Results showed a 94.4% increase in understanding of the five GSS pillars (nutrition, physical health, immunization, mental health, and environment), 88% readiness to implement healthy practices, and the formation of PAUD Healthy School Teams in 72 schools. The program is expected to foster a healthy educational environment supporting optimal early childhood development. Follow-up actions include advanced training and school facility improvements.

Abstract

Social media addiction is a behavior that always accesses social media while ignoring other activities so that many bad things can be detrimental. The increasing use of gadgets among students to adults indicates that this behavior is rampant. If this continues to increase, communication with other people or the surrounding environment will be directly disrupted. This research procedure uses classroom action research where the stages carried out are 4, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The social media addiction instrument used is adopted from the "Social Media Scale Addiction Scale-Student Form (SMAS-SF)" instrument. The results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with students experiencing a decrease in social media addiction from the high category to the medium and low categories. The average score in the pre-cycle was 93, cycle I was 73, and cycle II was 65. So it can be concluded that the implementation of group guidance services with the educational game technique "My Social Media Journey" is effective in reducing the level of social media addiction in class X-6 students of SMAN 3 Kediri.

Abstract

This classroom action research in guidance and counseling aims to improve students’ social relationship skills through group counseling services using the educational game technique Toples Rahasia Pertemanan (The Secret Friendship Jar). The study was conducted in class X-9 of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri over two cycles, which included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The pre-cycle results showed that most students had low levels of social relationship skills. In the post-test of Cycle I, 4 out of 6 students (66.7%) were in the medium category, while 2 students (33.3%) were still in the low category. After improving the strategy in Cycle II, the post-test results showed that all students (100%) reached the medium category. This means there was a 33.3% improvement, proving that group counseling using the Secret Friendship Jar game can create a fun and interactive atmosphere, increase student participation, and effectively improve their social relationship skills with peers.
