Abstract

The practice of language crimes has become a rampant phenomenon amid current information technology developments. The impact that can be caused by language crimes on social media may not be felt physically, but directly affect the victim's mentality. This research aims to investigate the form and pattern of cyberbullying as a practice of language crimes committed by Tiktok residents to one of the young tiktokers, namely Fujianti Utami on the Tiktok @fujiiian account. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, forensic linguistic review. Documentation techniques were used to collect and analyze data based on the Milles & Huberman analysis model of speech, which indicated the presence of language crime practices. The results of this study show that the number of harassment bullying speeches collected (387), it is known that the most common bullying pattern carried out by TikTok residents on @fujiiian accounts is head act (219) and the least pattern is supportive move (mitigating) – head act- supportive move (mitigating), which is as many as (5). Although language crimes are criminal acts, they cannot be processed legally. This is because bullying on social media is a complaint that will only be processed if the party who feels aggrieved files a report to the police.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tentang ujaran kebencian terhadap ketiga capres dan cawapres pada pemilu 2024 di media sosial X dengan menggunakan kajian linguistik forensik. Adapun jenis jenis ujaran kebencian yang telah ditemukan oleh peneliti adalah ujaran kebencian yang bersifat penghinaan, penistaan, pencemaran nama baik, perbuatan tidak menyenangkan, hoaks atau penyebaran berita bohong dan provokasi atau menghasut. Setelah ditemukan jenis-jenis ujaran kebencian selanjutnya ujaran kebencian tersebut secars kajian linguistik forensik telah melanggar Undang Undang Republik Indonesia tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan catat kemudian data yang telah dikumpulkan lalu dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan ujaran kebencian yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah ujaran kebencian yang bersifat penghinaan yaitu sebanyak 372 ujaran yang dilakukan oleh netizen pada ketiga akun resmi capres dan cawapres 2024 di media sosial X.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu bahan ajar cerita anak. Cerita-cerita yang ada di dalam bahan ajar adalah cerita dongeng yang berkaitan dengan dunia anak. Adapun karakter-karakter yang ditampilkan dalam bahan ajar ini yakni kejujuran, rendah hati, hormat dan patuh kepada orang tua, penyayang, saling memaafkan, kesabaran, rajin, bertanggung jawab, dan disiplin. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model menurut Borg dan Gal dengan sejumlah modifikasi. Model penelitian pengembangan yang mencakup enam tahap yaitu (1) mencari informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) mengembangkan format produk, (4) desain produk, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian yang dilakukan oleh para validator terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Keempat komponen yang dinilai terdiri dari (1) isi materi, (2) keterbacaan dan kepraktisan, (3) keterterapan, dan (4) kemenarikan. Keempat komponen yang telah dinilai memperoleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 86,9%. Hal ini menandakan bahwa bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikatakan sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Begitu juga dengan hasil persentase dari setiap komponen dapat dikatakan bahwa bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan. Selain itu, respon anak-anak terhadap cerita yang terdapat dalam bahan ajar tersebut menunjukan respon yang posistif. Terdapat 87% anak memahami isi cerita dengan dengan baik serta karakter yang terdapat dalam cerita dalam bahan aja

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan penilaian pada aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP Negeri Gudang Arang Merauke dengan total jumlah peserta12 orang guru bidang studi. Adapun guru bidang studi yang terlibat yakni guru Bahasa Indonesia, guru matematika, guru Pendidikan agama, guru olahraga, guru IPA. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini para guru dapat memahami teknik penilaian dan dapat melakukan penilaian secara tepat. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi pada semua pelajaran karena setiap pelajaran tentunya melakukan penilaian kepada siswa. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop yang meliputi sosialisasi dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan serta diakhiri dengan diskusi bersama. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para guru dapat memahami dengan baik pentingnya sebuah penilain jika dilakukan secara objektif pada ketiga aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

The present study aims to bridge the gaps between limited Web-based Learning English (WBLE) focused on speaking ability enhancement and sophomore multilevel speaking students' perceptions and to design a qualitative narrative study using seven sophomore university students aged 20-24 years old. Students were chosen through purposive sampling and used mobile phones and personal computers for learning purposes. The results demonstrated the use of web-based language learning to encourage students to speak English as a Foreign Language. The students used two WBLE techniques, online and offline, both on- and off-campus. They accessed five recommended WBLE: British Broadcasting Corporation, PhraseMix, VOA Learning English, British Council, and TalkEnglish. Students used online WBLE to attend blended lectures agreed upon by their teachers. This study highlights the potential of WBLE to improve speaking skills among sophomore-level students, emphasizing the need for further research and development in this field.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan public speaking pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Musamus. Pelatihan public speaking ini berguna untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara mahasiswa di depan umum dan dapat meningkatkan nilai akademik mahasiswa. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan di Universitas Musamus yang terletak di Kota Merauke. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah dalam memaparkan materi kepada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sesi praktik. Pada sesi praktik mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan atau mengaplikasikan materi yang telah diberikan di awal kegiatan. Pada kegiatan ini, mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia antusias mengikuti pelatihan mulai dari awal hingga kegiatan selesai.

Abstract

The implementation of this community service activity was carried out in class VII SMP Negeri Gudang Arang Merauke with a total of 20 participants. It is hoped that these students can understand and know English as a foreign language and as an effort to increase interest, motivation, will, and interest. Students in learning English in the field of education. This service contributes to learning English, especially for beginners (Young Learners) as an effort to increase students’ interest in learning English. In addition, this activity contributes to realizing education in Junior High School (SMP) to foster students’ interests and talents and motivation in learning English and as an effort to provide an introduction to English for the beginner level (Young Learners). This service is carried out in the form of a workshop which includes socialization in the form of training/introduction and mentoring. The material for the service activities is divided into two, namely exposure to motivational material interest in learning English and introduction to English vocabulary and grammar to be able to read texts in English. The expected goals of this service are: 1) increasing students’ knowledge and understanding of how to learn English is easy; 2) increasing students’ skills in English and students being able to understand reading material well. From the whole series of community service activities, the main hope is an improvement. Improving conditions from not knowing, not understanding to very understanding, and from low be high in terms of interest, motivation, willingnesss and interest of sudents in learning English especially English vocabulary and grammar

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability of Indonesian language teachers in compiling assessment tools for descriptive writing skills. This community service activity was carried out at Gudang Arang Merauke State Middle School with 6 Indonesian language teachers participating. With this service activity, teachers can understand how to prepare assessment tools for descriptive writing skills in the form of teacher guidelines and student assignments. This service contributes to Indonesian language subjects. This service is carried out in the form of a workshop which includes socialization in the form of training and mentoring and ends with a joint discussion.

Abstract

Assessment is a process to obtain and collect student learning outcomes during learning. Based on the facts in the field it was found that the teacher was unable to compile assessment tools for writing explanatory text skills and short story texts. The purpose of this study was to develop assessment tools for explanatory text writing skills and short story texts consisting of teacher guides and student assignments. The research and development model used in this study is the R2D2 development model. The results showed that the assessment skills of explanatory text writing skills and short story texts developed were appropriate to be implemented in the 2013 curriculum. The teacher's guide to explanatory texts reached 91% and the teacher's guide to short story texts reached 86%. While the student assignment for the explanatory text reached 87% and the student assignment for the short story text reached 82%. Based on the results of the validity and reliability test, it shows that all the items of work that have been developed are valid and reliable.
