Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of: (1) study habits on learning achievement in the subject of financial administration, (2) parents 'attention to learning achievement (3) study habits and parents' attention to learning achievement. This research uses quantitative methods. The population was all 44 students of class XI AP SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The data collection technique uses the documentation method and a questionnaire. Test the validity of the instrument usingcorrelation Product Moment, and reliability testing usingformula Cronbach's Alpha. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with SPSS 17. The prerequisite test uses the normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The results show there was a positive and significant influence between: (1) study habits on learning achievement tcount = 4.285> ttable 2.021, (2) parents' attention to learning achievement tcount = 2.193> ttable 2.021, (3) habits learning and parental attention to learning achievement Fcount = 243,388> Ftable = 3,928. With the effective contribution of learning habits (X1) of 44.90%, the effective contribution of parents' attention (X2) of 18.0% and the relative contribution of learning habits (X1) 77.15%, the relative contribution of parental attention (X2) 28, 53%.

Abstract

The competence of educational staff in information technology is essential to finishing a job at a university. Good information technology competence can help them complete the work faster and more effectively. This study investigates the influence of communication competence and education level on work productivity at Sebelas Maret University. Two hundred ten respondents were involved, consisting of 125 male and 85 female staff. Pearson correlation is used for validation, and Cronbach's alpha is used for reliability tests. All items are valid and reliable (α =.05.) The data were analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The result shows that simultaneously, the two independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable (F = 9.63, p <.05). Information technology competence has a significant effect on work productivity (t = 4.64, p <.05). Education level has a significant effect on work productivity (t = 2.48, p <.05). Generally, it can be concluded that the information technology competence and educational level of staff affect work productivity.

Abstract

Program Pojok Literasi di Rusunawa Mangkubumen bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan keterampilan literasi dasar anak-anak melalui penataan ruang baca dan pelaksanaan berbagai kegiatan literasi. Kegiatan ini tidak melibatkan mitra eksternal, dengan seluruh aktivitas dikoordinasikan oleh kelompok KKN UNS 250 yang merenovasi pojok literasi yang sudah ada. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyediaan buku yang menarik, penataan ruang baca, serta penyelenggaraan kegiatan literasi interaktif seperti membaca bersama, menulis, berkreasi, dan diskusi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan anak-anak PAUD hingga SMP, dengan penyesuaian aktivitas berdasarkan usia dan minat mereka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan minat baca dan keterampilan literasi dasar anak-anak, yang ditandai dengan antusiasme mereka dalam membaca dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang berkembang. Selain itu, kegiatan ini membantu menciptakan fondasi yang kuat dalam pendidikan anak melalui lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Kesimpulannya, Program Pojok Literasi memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan literasi anak-anak di Rusunawa Mangkubumen, meskipun terdapat beberapa hambatan yang perlu diatasi untuk keberlanjutan program ini.

Abstract

Despite the abundance of literature discussing Kuhnian views, it is rare to find studies that comprehensively compare the arguments of Kuhnian supporters and skeptics. This study aims to fill the gap by providing a comparative review and synthesis between the two groups of views using the systematic literature review (SLR) analysis technique. The researcher found 1,413 articles reduced with the standard prism protocol to 32 articles that examined Kuhn's views. Proponents support the existence of Kuhn's scientific paradigm where they not only strengthen and consider the importance of Kuhn's theory, but also expand its application to various fields, showing the flexibility and relevance of the theory in understanding the scientific revolution that occurred in various disciplines. Skeptics criticize Kuhn's views such as the ambiguity of the term "paradigm", the non-recognition of scientific revolutions that lead to scientific evolution, and the doubt of the concept of incommensurability in various disciplines. This shows that Thomas Kuhn made a great contribution to the world of scientific education because it can provoke experts to study his thoughts for the benefit of science. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to policy makers and other researchers in applying and studying Kuhn's paradigm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and family support variables, partially and simultaneously, on student’s career planning. This research is quantitative with correlational method. The population of this research is class XII students of SMK N 6 Surakarta totaling 516 students. This study used proportionate random sampling technique. This study used questionnaire for data collection and data analysis techniques using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression techniques supported by IBM SPSS 26. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant effect of self-efficacy on career planning, as evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the tcount value of 7.765 > t table 1.970 and; (2) there was a positive and significant effect of family support on career planning, as evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the t value of 7.287 > t table 1.970; and (3) there was a positive and significant effect of self-efficacy and family support simultaneously on career planning, as evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a F value of 82.970> F table 3.04. The results of this study indicate that the effective contribution simultaneously amounted to 42.8% and the remaining 57.2% was influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

The progression of technology could lead to online risks, such as accidental exposure to harmful content by undergraduates. Investigating how this exposure affects their mental health, particularly academic stress, and in turn, their academic performance, is critically important. This study aims to examine the impact and predictability of online risks on undergraduates’ academic stress and performance, using logistic regression as the main method of analysis. The findings show that online risks have a significant effect on academic stress (p<0.05), but there is no significant impact on academic performance (p>0.05). Students who frequently encounter scam or bullying content are 2.317 and 2.400 times more likely, respectively, to suffer from academic stress compared to those who encounter it less. Additionally, demographic factors, especially gender, are significant (p<0.05) in terms of academic stress and performance. The analysis predicts that females are 4.210 times more likely to experience academic stress than males, while males are 2.768 times (in model 4) and 2.601 times (model 5) more likely to achieve cum laude honors than females. This research provides valuable insights for academic policy makers to improve education quality and offers a basis for further studies in this area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh dispilin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja Pegawai DUKCAPIL Kota Surakarta, (2) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja Pegawai DUKCAPIL Kota Surakarta, (3) mengetahui pengaruh dispilin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja Pegawai DUKCAPIL Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 82 pegawai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner penelitian dengan teknik Sampel Jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai DUKCAPIL Kota Surakarta dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung (3,426) > ttabel (1,993) dan nilai signifikansi 0,006 < 0,05; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai DUKCAPIL Kota Surakarta dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung (10,750) > ttabel (1,993) dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05; (3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja DUKCAPIL Kota Surakarta dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung (78,789) > Ftabel (3,11). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai sumbangan efektif secara bersama-sama sebesar 0,666 atau 67%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 33% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengelolaan, laboratorium Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran di Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran, (2) Faktor penghambat pengelolaan laboratorium Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran , (3) Upaya/strategi dalam pengelolaan laboratorium Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data yang digunakan yakni menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pemeliharaan, inventarisasi (pengadministrasian), dan pengawasan laboratorium Administrasi Perkantoran (a) perencanaan dibagi menjadi dua yaitu, perencanaan tata ruang laboratorium yang meliputi tata ruang, pencahayaan, dan suhu/udara. Perencanaan pengadaan perlengkapan dan peralatan bahan praktik (2) Hambatan dalam pengelolaan laboratorium (a) belum tersedianya teknisi ahli laboratorium, (b) kurangnya sarana dan prasarana (c) kurangnya komunikasi dan koordinasi, serta terbatasnya waktu praktik (3) Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi hambatan (a) disediakan teknisi ahli laboratorium, (b) meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana, meningkatkan komunikasi dan koordinasi, serta (d) membagi mahasiswa per-klaster.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the utilization of local history study of Soeracarta Heritage Society forum in enriching the insight of SMA Regina Pacis Surakarta students. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques applied were interviews and direct observation. Data analysis in this study used interactive model analysis. The results showed that: 1) the identification of local history studies in the history learning process at SMA Regina Pacis Surakarta is still not optimal due to the lack of breadth of insight. 2) the utilization of local history studies of Soeracarta Heritage Society forum is very effective in enriching the insight of SMA Regina Pacis Surakarta students.
