Abstract

Kelurahan Tugurejo memperoleh Program Kampung Tematik didasarkan atas potensi sumber daya alam (SDM) maupun sumber daya alam (SDA) setempat. Hasil koordinasi, masyarakat Kelurahan Tugurejo bersepakat untuk mengembangkan ekonomi masyarakat yang berbasis pada potensi lokal Kelurahan Tugurejo untuk terwujudnya ekonomi lokal yang mandiri dan memiliki nilai jual yang kompetitif. Untuk mendukung program tersebut perlu dilakukan pendampingan dan bantuan fasilitasi pemasaran UMKM Kelurahan Tugurejo dalam mendukung Program Gerbang Elok. Pemecahan permasalahan optimalisasi UMKM Kelurahan Tugurejo dilakukan dengan beberapa metode pendekatan yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama, yaitu: berbasis kelompok, komprehensif, dan berbasis potensi local. Untuk mendukung branding UMKM anggota Gerbang Elok, tim pengabdian mendamipingi UMKM ke Pusat Layanan UMKM/Kerajinan Pemerintah Kota Semarang. Pada pendampingan di P3DN tersebut UMKM mitra pengabdian diberikan kesempatan konsultasi terkait produk, legalitas ijin usaha, hingga kemasan. Pada pendampingan di layanan public P3DN Pemkota Semarang, salah satu mitra UMKM, telah mendapatkan ijin usaha, berupa Ijin Usaha Berbasis Resiko, dengan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB. Untuk mendukung branding UMKM yang ada di Kelurahan Tugurejo, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat juga telah memberikan bantuan berupa plang UMKM Gerbang Elok. Adanya plang nama ini sebagai identitas keberadaan UMKM yang ada di Kelurahan Tugurejo. Terdapatnya branding produk UMKM anggota Gerbang Elok, menjadikan produk UMKM lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat secara luas dan meningkatkan pemasran produk-produk yang dihasilkan. Branding UMKM juga didukung adanya program P3DN Pemerintah Kota Semarang.

Abstract

Science learning associated with Socio Scientific Issues has the potential to increase scientific and environmental literacy. This research is a qualitative study with a survey method to analyze the impact of socio-scientific issues on the peat environment through the frequency of its implementation in science learning, students' initial knowledge and opinions about peat, and the types of media for peat recognition. This research is a preliminary study to develop science learning media that can improve scientific and environmental literacy about peat in Central Kalimantan.[U1] Subyek of this research were 83 junior high school students at SMPN 5 Palangka Raya and SMPN 7 Cempaga, Central Kalimantan. The results showed that as many as 29.8% of students had never studied peat. Their knowledge was limited to a general knowledge of peat from the internet. The needs analysis results show that almost all students (99%) need peat introduction media, 65% choose video media, 23% choose educational games, and the rest choose electronic books. The type of media needed by these students is a reference for developing interactive learning media to introduce peatland.

Abstract

Pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 9 Semarang menunjukkan bahwa guru masih menerapkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru yaitu ceramah dengan menunjukkan hasil belajar yang cukup rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis model pembelajaran SOLE dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Semarang tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sampel terpilih 36 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 36 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample T-test. Hasil analisis data dengan uji paired sample T-test menunjukkan hasil sebesar 0,000 dengan itu hasil uji T test lebih kecil dari <0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran self- organized learing environment. Hasil belajar aspek kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen meningkat dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,50 yang menunjukan kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,22 yang dikategorikan rendah. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa Model pembelajaran Self-organized learning environment (SOLE) pada materi perubahan lingkungan meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Bantarbolang Nature Reserve as a conservation area has not been widely recognized, and has not been utilized in learning. Students also need learning that can train critical thinking skills. The aim of the research is to analyze the diversity of pteridophyta in the Bantarbolang Nature Reserve, to analyze the characteristics, validity and effectiveness of the E-peteridophyta teaching materials in training students' thinking skills. This research is Research and Development (R&D) using 4D model swhich includes four stages, that is Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study showed (1) Diversity of Pteridophyta in the Bantarbolang Nature Reserve, whichfound 14 species of ferns, from 6 different families. The diversity of ecosystems in the Bantarbolang Nature Reserve, there are River Ecosystems, Forests and Teak Forests. (2) The characteristics of the Pteridophyta E-Materials in the Bantarbolang Nature Reserve have advantages, such as providing contextual examples of images, presented by collaborating between scientific approaches and process skills, and displayed in electronic form which makes it easy to use. (3) The validity of the Pteridophyta E-teaching materials in the Bantarbolang Nature Reserve, obtained an assessment score from material experts of 94.38% so that it is included in the very valid category, and an assessment score from media experts of 98.30% so that it is included in the very valid category. (4) The effectiveness of E-teaching materials on students' critical thinking skills obtains an N-gain score of 0.70, which means the high category, and obtained an Effect size score of 0.49, which means the medium category, thus showing effective results on critical thinking skills with the application of E - Teaching materials.

Abstract

Teknologi sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh memiliki beragam manfaat, sehingga dunia pendidikan dalam bidang geografi juga berupaya mengenalkan pengetahuan terkait teknologi tersebut kepada para peserta didik, terutama pada jenjang SMA dan perguruan tinggi, khususnya pada jurusan atau program studi yang konsentrasinya pada sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh. Namun demikian, kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa materi sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh faktanya merupakan salah satu materi yang belum dapat diajarkan dengan optimal karena berbagai kendala. Kendala yang dialami oleh kelompok guru geografi di Kabupaten Cilacap diantaranya adalah masih terbatasnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh. Teknologi sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh yang terus berkembang baik dari segi data, software dan hardware yang tentunya harus diikuti perkembanganya oleh bapak ibu guru pendidik untuk disampaikan kepada peserta didik. Jarak yang jauh dari ibukota provinsi jawa tengah karena kabupaten cilacap merupakan kabupaten yang terletak paling barat, sehingga sangat jarang kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan pada kabupaten ini. Serta masih terbatasnya keterampilan guru dalam pengolahan data sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh untuk disampaikan kepada peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan praktek dan juga update perkembangan teknologi sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh pada kelompok guru geografi di Kabupaten Cilacap. Kegiatan akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi guru-guru geografi terkait update perkembangan teknologi sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh, serta kegiatan workshop dan pelatihan praktek pengolahan data dan pembuatan peta menggunakan teknologi sistem informasi geografis dan penginderaan jauh.

Abstract

Several 21st century skills such as students’ communication and collaboration skills are also not well honed during the pandemic learning. Another problem that arises in learning, especially Biology, is the characteristics of each Biology material that has complex concepts and problems. This causes students to often find it difficult to understand Biology material. The immune system material that discusses the working mechanisms in the body makes it more difficult for students to learn and causes students to experience misconceptions. This study aims to measure students’ communication and collaboration skills on the Immune System material assisted by the Padlet website. Padlet is commonly referred as an online whiteboard that allows educators and students to convey and share ideas/concepts and thoughts in the form of text, photos or videos in real time. This study is a pre-experimental study with a one-shot case study research design. The sample was taken using the purposive sampling method, so that 36 respondents were taken from high school students in grade XI (Phase F). The data collection techniques for this study were observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the analysis of students’ communication skills obtained an average of 81.24%, and collaboration skills obtained an average of 76.69%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Padlet effective improving students’ communication skills and collaboration in learning Biology on the Immune System material which is included in the high category.

Abstract

The character of caring for the environment and environmental awareness in children occurs from school culture, cultivation and learning in the classroom. This makes a positive habit in children or students. The strengthening of the character of caring for the environment in students will make it a habit for children to become responsible human beings and care about the environment at school. This study aims to describe the environmental awareness profile and environmental care attitude in State Junior High School 2 Kaliori. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with questionnaire data collection techniques. The analysis techniques used are validity tests, reliability tests and descriptive statistics. The results of the study obtained information that the level of environmental awareness at State Junior High School 2 Kaliori received an average score of 78.03 including the category of high environmental awareness. Meanwhile, the profile of the level of environmental care attitude at State Junior High School 2 Kaliori received an average score of 62.84 including the high category. The level of environmental concern attitude in State Junior High School 2 Kaliori in respondents with a high category of environmental concern attitude was 31 people or 68.9 percent and there were 14 respondents with a moderate level of environmental awareness or 31.1 percent. From the results of this research, there are several limitations of the research, namely only focusing on the profile of environmental care attitudes and environmental awareness of students of State Junior High School 2 Kaliori. As for the suggestions for the next researcher, it is hoped to add several other factors that affect environmental awareness and environmental awareness in schools. If there are other factors that affect environmental awareness and environmental awareness, of course, the results are also different, especially with different subjects.

Abstract

The learning process in the classroom is centered on the teacher and uses the lecture method, causing students to be less interested in following the learning process, and making students less active during learning. And students have difficulty understanding the material on the human reproductive system. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of e-modules based on problem-based learning on mushroom material to improve the learning outcomes of high school students. This study uses a Research and Development (RnD) approach that has been modified into 8 steps of development and research consisting of, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials, product revisions, final products. The subjects of this study were students of X7 MA Riyadlotut Thalabah. The results of the validation of the Material Expert on the product were 81.71% (very feasible), and 95% (very feasible) from the Media Expert. The teacher's assessment obtained a percentage of 95.04% (very feasible). The results of the responses from 35 students of class X7 MA Riyadlotut Thalabah obtained an average of 93.68% (very feasible). The percentage of classical completion of MA Riyadlotut Thalabah students from the pretest was 25.71% and the posttest was 85.71%. And 71.42% of students got a range of medium to high N-gain values. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the PBL-based mushroom E-module is feasible and effective in improving the learning outcomes of high school students.

Abstract

Science learning aims to deepen students’ understanding of scientific concepts and equip them with the necessary scientific literacy skills for everyday life. How ever, the 2022 PISA survey results show that Indonesian students’ science literacy is still low. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of a science textbook based on the local potential of Grenden Village to improve the science literacy of junior high school students. The research method used is the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were seventh-grade students at Junior High School 1 Puger. The research data consisted of effectiveness sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the developed textbook obtained effectiveness with an N-gain score of 0.58. The student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 82%. This study concludes that the developed textbook is valid, practical, and effective in improving the science literacy of junior high school students. The developed science textbook can be utilized to the fullest by students, teachers, and schools to effectively improve the science literacy of junior high school students, while further research can enhance the textbook by incorporating additional varied exercises and student activities tailored to their needs.

Abstract

Learning media is very important in help stimulate think critical students, research results about literacy science like effectiveness of Learning Booklets not yet applied in a way maximum in school. The purpose of study is to know effectiveness of booklet content conservation of Bryophyta material for increase ability literacy science students. The method used in this study is quantitative method. Quantitative methods is method research based on positivism, the method used to researching population or sample certain. Technique taking sample usually done with calculation technique appropriate sample. Quantitative data collection aiming for test hypothesis that has been set data literacy science based on the average value N-gain. Based on results can explained that, the effectiveness of the booklet contains conservation to increase literacy science class experiment more tall compared with class control. Learning using booklet learning media on Bryophyta material get strong response and got response positive from student.
