Abstract

         Abstract           The purpose of this research was to describe the structure of the dance presentation which has its own characteristics, in terms of motion, music, costumes, and lyrics of songs contained in Ladun dance music, the art of Mendu Penggal Raja Muda, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands Province. The method used in this research was descriptive method in the form of qualitative. The approach used by researchers was a choreography approach. To complement the research data, researchers used observation, interviews, and documentation. Techniques to test the validity of data was source triangulation. Researcher used data reduction, data presentation, as well as inference and verification as the data analysis techniques. The result of the research is the analysis of the main elements of the structure, top design, floor design, music accompaniment and the Islamic nuance which full of advice and prayer. The theme is related to life events in the kingdom. The dressing used is the character of a firm person of Antapura kingdom. Ladun dance is performed at the inauguration ceremony and marriage. The dance serves as an entertainment. The results of this research is expected to be implemented in the arts and culture grade X, semester I in high school, so that students better understand the existence of traditional dance in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands Province.                      Keywords: presentation structure, Ladun dance, the art of Mendu Penggal Raja Muda.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was backgrounded by the lack of documentation for a cultural reservation. The formulation of this study is (1) the history of Mak Yong Music in Salako Dayak society of Bagak Sahwa Village, Singkawang Timur District of Singkawang City, and (2) the elements of cultural acculturation between Dayak and Melayu in Mak Yong music. This study was conducted with the descriptive method in the form of qualitative, using a historical approach. The data collection was done using observation, interview,and documentation techniques. The data were validated using the triangulation technique.Mak Yong music was created since the 1950s by both the people of Dayak Salako Tribe and Malay tribes in Selakau. The music was officially recognized in 1967s a Gawai Padi event which was held at the Bagak Sahwa village. The music was performed as a part of the events led by Nek Jogong. In 1952, the system has changed, that is, people had to use tickets in the form of handkerchiefs. This study is hoped to be contributive by implementing the materials into the Arts and Cultures subject in Class VIII in the first semester.Keywords: Development and Acculturation History, Mak Yong Music

Abstract

                                                 AbstractThis research analyzed about the form of Koncong Dance performance inBabane Village, Samalantan District, Bengkayang Regency. The purpose of this research were, Describing the elements of the persentation in composition Koncong Dance performance and describing the contribution of the results of the Koncong Dance as a learning media in Art and Culture subject on Eighth Grade Students at Junior High School. Method with using qualitative research as the research design and used choreographic approach as the research approach. The data collecting techniques of this research were using observation, interview and documentation. The researcher applied an extension of observation and triangulations. Technique to test the validity of the data. Koncong Dance had a form of performance that consists of initial motion, middle, and closing. Other elements contained in other forms of performance were,Floor design, group composition, the theme, accompaniment, make up and clothing, place of performance. Abstract

AbstractThe Jepin Kembang Manggar dance that has never been shown in the Batu Layang village of Pontianak Utara District has been the concern in this Study. This study was aimed at revitalizing the Jepin Kembang Manggar dance in Batu Layang village, manifested in discussions about the form, process, and results of the revitalization. The descriptive method with the form of qualitative and choreography approach was used in this study. The results of the research were several efforts completed to revitalize the Jepin Kembang Manggar dance in order to preserve and develop it in the community, especially in Batu Layang village, Pontianak Utara district. Firstly, the researcher met the first and second informants, followed by a meeting with the head of the dance studio along with dancers and musicians from the local community. Then, the dancers did the practices 6 times, as well as the musicians, did the practices 5 times along with the dancers. The Jepin Kembang Manggar dance was performed on Saturday, 9th of February 2019 at 19.30, accompanied by the music and equipped with dance properties and costumes. Finally, this dance performance received a lot of appreciation and support from the community in order to revitalize one of the cultures in the Batu Layang village, Pontianak Utara District.Keywords: Revitalization, Jepin Kembang Manggar dance, Batu Layang Village

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merevitalisasi tari Koncong yang hampir punah kepada masyarakat adat Dayak Salako Garantukng Sakawokng dan masyarakat luas bahwa terdapat kesenian seperti tarian Koncong yang ada di Kelurahan Bagak Sahwa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi analisis dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah sosiologi. Sumber data yang diambil ialah hasil wawancara, saat peneliti sedang melakukan observasi langsung di Kelurahan Bagak Sahwa dan hasil dokumentasi pada saat penampilan tari Koncong berlangsung serta hasil selebaran angket yang dibagikan kepada siswa SMP kelas VIII. Data yang diperoleh dari upaya yang dilakukan dalam merevitalisasi tari Koncong di Kelurahan Bagak Sahwa, struktur penyajian tari Koncong di Kelurahan Bagak Sahwa dan implementasi pada pembelajaran Seni Budaya di SMP kelas VIII. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menampilkan kembali tari Koncong kepada masyarakat adat Dayak Salako Garanntukng Sakawokng, kemudian dokumentasi berupa foto dan video dijadikansebagai media pembelajaran di SMP N 8 Singkawang Utara pada pelajaran Seni Budaya di kelas VIII semester 1. Kata kunci: revitalisasi, tari Koncong, tari ritual, Dayak.     Abstract: This study aims to introduce endangered Koncong dance to indigenous Dayak Salako Garantukng Sakawokng and the wider public that there are arts such as dance Koncong that exist in the Village Bagak Sahwa. The method used is a description method of analysis with qualitative terms. The approach used is sociology. Sources of data taken is the result of the interview, when researchers are conducting direct observation in the Bagak Sahwa Village and result documentation during Koncong dance performances take place and the results of a questionnaire distributed flyers to SMP students of class VIII. Data obtained from the efforts made to revitalize Koncong dance in the Bagak Sahwa Village, the structure of the presentation of Koncong dance in the Bagak Sahwa Village and the implementation of learning of Art and Culture in the junior class VIII. The results of this study is to show Koncong dance back to the indigenous Dayak Salako Garanntukng Sakawokng, then photographs and video documentation used as a medium of learning in SMP N 8 North Singkawang on Cultural Art lessons in class VIII Semester 1.  Keyword: revitalization, Koncong dance, ritual dance, Dayak.

Abstract

 Abstract  This research background is to know about txhe meaning and symbol of dance movement Raddat Koko. The purpose of this research are 1) to describe the symbol in dance movement Raddat Koko in Sekuduk Village Sejangkung District Sambas Regency, 2) to describe the meaning in dance movement Raddat Koko in Sekudduk Village SejangkungSubdistrict Sambas District, 3) to describe the implementation of symbols and meaning of dance movement Raddat Koko in grade X SMA Negeri 1 Selakau on the subjects of Art Culture. The motion is, among others, the hormat motion, ancang-ancang 1, ancang-ancang 2, ancang-ancang 3, the menyerang motion 1 and menyerang 2. Motivation presents a symbol of respect that has meaning of homage to the audience who has been present. Ancang-ancang 1 presents a stalking symbol that has the meaning of stalking the place where the Dutch weapons hide. Ancang-ancang 2 presents a ready-to-play symbol that has the meaning of making a square off to move to a Dutch-owned hideout. Ancang-ancang 3 presents a preparatory symbol for an attack that has the meaning of performing the planned motion against the enemy. Menyerang 1 presents a symbol ready to fight against an opponent who has a ready-to-war meaning. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan upaya meningkatkan kreativitas siswa menggunakan model Quantum Learning dalam proses pembelajaran seni budaya dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas gerak tari siswa dengan model Quantum Learning dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di kelas X MIA 1 SMAN 2 Pontianak.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dan pendekatan kualitatif.  Sampel penelitian 39 siswa.  Penelitian melewati tahapan pra siklus yakni tes uji praktek keterampilan awal, sebaran angket siswa dan 2 siklus dimana di akhir siklus menampilkan tarian. Indikator kreativitas meliputi kreativitas gerak tari siswa (kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian, elaborasi) dan hasil kreativitas gerak (menemukan gerak, mengembangkan, menciptakan gerak).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan kreativitas siswa.  Setelah semua siklus dilaksanakan siswa lebih kreatif mempraktekkan gerak tari, bahkan saat presentasi di siklus 2 sebagian besar melakukan persiapan matang dan lebih kompak. Setelah proses pembelajaran, nilai kreativitas gerak tari siswa dari 1,35 di siklus I meningkat menjadi 3,00 di siklus II dan nilai hasil kreativitas gerak siswa dari 1,42 di siklus I meningkat menjadi 3,12 di siklus II. Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran, Quantum Learning, kreativitas siswa, gerak tari. Abstract : This studi aimed to describe effort to improve student’s creativity by using Quantum Learning model in the learning process of art and culture and describe the increase creativity dance students with Quantum Learning model in the learning process of art and culture in class X MIA SMAN 2 Pontianak.  This research is action research by using descriptive analysis and qualitative approach.  Sample 39 students.  This research passing through the stage in the form of pre cycle test early skill practice, the distribution of quistionnaires and 2 cycles where at the end of each cycle will be presenting dance.  The results there was an increase in the creativity on the students.  After all cycles out of students look more creatively to practice dance movement, even when appearance at cycle 2 most students do preparation and more compact.  After learning of cycle 1 to cycle 2 and stage dance creativity of students increased from 1,35 to 3,00 and the creativity of students increased from 1,41 becomes 3,12. AbstractThe background of this research is to know the uniqueness that exist in Jepin Tembung Short Dance in Pontianak city of West Kalimantan. The purpose of this study is to describe the background of the creation of dance and the structure of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance with images to be clear and analyze the motion in each presentation of dance in order to be clearly understood about the presentation of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance.The method used is descriptive analysis with qualitative form. The approach used is Etnokoreologi. Research data in the form of observation, direct communication and documentary study of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance in Pontianak City. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya dokumentasi yang akurat berupa tulisan struktur gerak dalam tari oleh seniman terdahulu satu diantaranya Tari Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin yang berkembang di Kota Pontianak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis bentuk penyajian dan mendeskripsikan struktur gerak tari, disertai dengan rancangan implementasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif analisis dengan bentuk kualitatif, melalui pendekatan etnokoreologi. Sumber data dengan teknik snowball sampling didapat dari teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan datanya. Awalnya berfungsi untuk menghibur di acara pernikahan, tetapi sekarang boleh ditampilkan pada acara lain, penyajinya harus menyiapkan sepasang pengantin dan dayang-dayangnya yang membawa kipas sebagai properti. Musik pengiring dominan alat perkusi, dan melodi dari gambus dan biola serta syair yang berjudul “Pantun Pengantin”. Tari Tradisional ini bertemakan non literer yang penarinya menggunkan busana tradisi khas Melayu. Terdapat tujuh gugus sehingga menjadi satu tari yang utuh dilakukan dengan menganalisis melalui media gambar dan notasi Laban.   Kata kunci: Struktur gerak tari, Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin. Abstract: Background of this research is the lack of accurate documentation like writing about the structure of movement in dancing by the earlier artists, one of them is tari Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin which is grown in Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to analyze the form of performance and to describe the movement of dance, accompanied by the implementation plan of the structure of the dance movements jepin Bride Entertainers Step in High School junior. The method used descriptive analysis with qualitative form, through etnokoreologi approach. The data source with technic snowball sampling obtained from the technic observation, interview, and documentation to collect data. initially function to entertain in wedding party, but now can shown at the other occasion, but the performer must prepare a pair of bride and some ladies who brought fan as property. The dominant musical accompaniment is percussion instruments, and the melody is harp, violin dan poem entitled “Pantun Pengantin”. This Traditional dance theme is non literar and the dancers use the traditional outfit typical Malay. There are seven groups so that it becomes an integral dance performed by analyzing media images dan Laban Notation.   Keywords: Dancing movements structure, Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research to describe the function of traditional arts of Kuda Lumping in Sinar Tebudak village. The problem of this research were how the function of traditional Art of Kuda Lumping in Sinar Tebudak village. How to designe the implementation of research results the function of traditional Art of Kuda Lumping in Sinar Tebudak village.The method used in this research was descriptive method, with qualitative form and uses an anthropological approach. The source of data in this research was Suparmin, Paimun, and Bohiran. The data in this research were the results of interfiws and observations in the form of sound recordings, photographs and videos. The data collection techniques in this research were the form of observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Validity check of data in the form of extention of observation and triangulation. The data analysis techniques use interactive data analysis, wich is divided into four stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and power verification.The results of this research were entertainment functions, ritual functions, comunication functions, economic functions and  the results of this research were expected to be implemented in dance learing for cultural arts subjects and skills, junior high school class VIII semester one. Keywords: Java community in Bengkayang regency, Kuda Lumping, The function of traditional art.
