Abstract

Pembuatan tempe yang memerlukan banyak air menyebabkan banyaknya limbah cair yang dihasilkan, salah satunya yaitu rebusan kedua kedelai. Limbah cair tersebut masih mengandung banyak senyawa-senyawa organik seperti protein, karbohidrat, lemak, dan minyak., sehingga masih dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dasar minuman seperti yoghurt kedelai atau soyghurt. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh konsentrasi susu dan waktu fermentasi terhadap kadar total asam laktat, jumlah bakteri asam laktat soyghut, dan tingkat kesukaan masyarakat. Konsentrasi susu sapi yang digunakan yaitu 10%, 20%, dan 30%. Sedangkan waktu fermentasinya yaitu 4, 6, 8, dan 10 jam. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar asam laktat tertinggi terdapat pada soyghurt dengan penambahan susu sapi sebanyak 30% dengan waktu fermentasi 10 jam. Jumlah bakteri asam laktat (BAL) dari tiap perlakuan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Hasil uji organoleptik didapatkan soyghurt dengan penambahan susu sapi 30% dengan waktu fermentasi 10 jam  paling disukai oleh panelis.Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan konsentrasi susu sapi dan waktu fermentasi berpengaruh terhadap kadar asam laktat dan tingkat kesukaan masyarakat tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah bakteri asam laktat Making tempe that require a lot of water caused many wastewater produced, one of which is both soybean stew. The liquid waste still contains a lot of organic compounds such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and oils., So that they can be used as a basic ingredient of beverages such as soy yogurt or soyghurt. This study aims to determine how the effect of milk concentration and time of fermentation on total levels of lactic acid, the amount of lactic acid bacteria soyghut, and the level of community preferences. Concentration of cow's milk used are 10%, 20%, and 30%. While the fermentation time is 4, 6, 8, and 10 hours. The method used in this research is experimental research with 12 treatments and 3 repetitions. The results showed that the highest levels of lactic acid found in cow's milk soyghurt with the addition of as much as 30% with a fermentation time of 10 hours. Moderate to BAL number of every treatment there is no significant difference. From the results obtained soyghurt organoleptic test by the addition of 30% cow's milk fermentation time of 10 hours panelis. Abstract

Transfluthrin is substance contained in mosquito repellent. Transfluthrin can cause free radical establishment. Bean sprout extract contains antioxidants that have a potential to fight free radical. This research aimed to examine the protective power of bean sprout extract on the quality of spermatozoa and mice SOD levels exposed by transfluthrin. Mice were divided into five groups, namely K was the normal control group, K- was a negative control group, K+ was a positive treatment group. KP1 was a group of mice that were given bean sprout extract dose of 25 mg/20gBB, KP 2 was a group of mice which were given bean sprout extract dose of 50 mg/20gBB. The data obtained were analyzed by oneway Anova confidence followed by the LSD test. Spermatozoa motility test results and SOD levels showed that the negative control group was significantly different from the treatment group. The viability, concentration, morphology tests of spermatozoa were not significantly different between the negative control group and the treatment group. It can be concluded that the addition of bean sprouts extracts in mice exposed to transfluthrin was able to protect the motility of spermatozoa and increase the levels of SOD but were less effective at protecting the concentration, viability and morphology in spermatozoa. Keywords: ekstrak tauge, kualitas spermatozoa, SOD transfluthrin Transfluthrin merupakan salah satu bahan aktif yang terkandung di dalam obat nyamuk. Transfluthrin dalam obat nyamuk dapat menyebabkan pembentukan radikal bebas. Ekstrak tauge memiliki kandungan antioksidan yang berpotensi melawan radikal bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji daya proteksi ekstrak tauge kacang hijau terhadap kualitas spermatozoa dan kadar SOD mencit yang terpapar Transfluthrin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap. Sebanyak 25 ekor mencit jantan galur Balb/c dibagi 5 kelompok, yaitu K: kelompok kontrol normal, K-: kelompok kontrol negatif, mencit di paparan obat nyamuk, K+: kelompok perlakuan positif mencit diberi vitamin E, KP1: kelompok mencit yang diberi ekstrak tauge dosis 25mg/20gBB, KP2: kelompok mencit yang diberi ekstrak tauge dosis 50mg/20gBB. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Anova satu jalan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD. Hasil uji statistik motilitas spermatozoa dan kadar SOD menunjukkan kelompok kontrol negatif berbeda nyata dengan kelompok perlakuan dan uji statistik viabilitas, konsentrasi dan morfologi spermatozoa tidak berbeda nyata antara kelompok kontrol negatif dan kelompok perlakuan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian ekstrak tauge pada mencit yang dipapar transfluthrin mampu memproteksi motilitas spermatozoa dan meningkatkan kadar SOD tetapi kurang efektif memproteksi konsentrasi, viabilitas dan morfologi spermatozoa. Abstract

The spread of the COVID-19 virus that has occurred recently is fast the antiviral drugs are not yet available. The spread has to reduce the virus for mild sufferers, self-isolation is requested and for severe sufferers to be isolated in the hospital. One of the efforts to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 is to increase endurance through the use of family medicinal plants (Toga). The potential of medicinal plants as immunomodulators is widely spread in Bangkong village. Bangkong is one of the sub-districts in Semarang City that is also affected by Covid-19, each resident has enough yard to make Toga park. This service activity aims to: (1) provide skills to PKK RW 7 women in designing Toga gardens by making Toga plant racks to decorate their home gardens which can serve as the basic ingredients for making ethnoscience-based Toga recipes; (2) providing knowledge and skills in cultivating Toga; (3) providing knowledge and skills in making ethnoscience-based herbal recipes; (4) providing skills in compiling ethnoscience-based cookbooks about the benefits and ways of presenting them. The approach methods used in the implementation are workshops, lectures/outreach, and training / mentoring. The workshop, given to convey theoretical knowledge about landscape architecture based on land area. In this activity the community service team explained how to make Toga's garden suitable for the land, looking beautiful and free from being damaged by chickens. The results of the training were agreed by the PKK mothers to make Toga in the form of a shelf. It is hoped that the training at the first meeting will produce Toga garden designs that can ensure that each Toga plant can live freely without being disturbed by one another. The lecture method is carried out to explain the benefits of medicinal plants, types of medicinal plants, how to reproduce, and how to treat them. The training method is carried out to provide skills to mothers in making recipes and herbal medicine that can be used to prevent Covid-19 infection. Mothers are very responsive in participating in extension activities on various kinds of plants that can increase endur. After participating in this activity, mothers have understood well the benefits of Toga to increase endurance and prevent being infected with the Corona - 19 viruses Keywords: Bangkong Semarang, Eetnoscience, Taman toga, Bangkong Semarang, Eetnoscience, Taman toga Penyebaran virus covid-19 yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini sangat cepat, obat antivirus belum tersedia. Untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus bagi penderita ringan diminta isolasi diri dan bagi penderita berat diisolasi di rumah sakit. Salah satu upaya pencegahan penularan covid-19 adalah dengan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh melalui pemanfaatan tanaman obat keluarga (Toga). Potensi tanaman obat sebagai imunomodulator sangat banyak tersebar di lingkungan desa Bangkong. Bangkong merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kota Semarang juga terdampak covid-19, tiap warga mampunyai halaman yang cukup untk membuat taman Toga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan keterampilan kepada ibu-ibu PKK RW 7 mendesain taman Toga dengan membuat rak tanaman Toga sebagai penghias halaman rumah yang dapat berfungsi sebagai bahan dasar membuat resep Toga berbasis etnoscience; (2) memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membudidayakan Toga; (3) memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat membuat resep jamu berbasis etnoscience; (4) memberikan keterampilan menyusun buku resep berbasis etnoscience tentang manfaat dan cara penyajiannya. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan adalah workshop, ceramah/penyuluhan, dan pelatihan/pembimbingan. Workshop, diberikan untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan teoritis tentang arsitektur lanskap berdasarkan luas lahan. Pada kegiatan ini team pengabdian menjelaskan bagaimana membuat taman Toga yang sesuai dengan lahan, terlihat indah dan terbebas dirusak oleh ayam. Hasil pelatihan disepakati para ibu PKK membuat Toga dalam bentuk Rak. Pelatihan di pertemuan pertama diharapkan dihasilkan disain taman Toga yang dapat menjamin masing-masing tanaman Toga bisa hidup bebas tidak saling terganggu. Metode ceramah dilakukan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang manfaat tanaman obat, jenis-jenis tanaman obat, cara memperbanyak dan cara perawatannya. Metode pelatihan dilakukan untuk memberikan keterampilan kepada ibu-ibu dalam membuat resep dan jamu yang dapat digunakan mencegah terkena Covid - 19Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, ibu-ibu sudah memahami dengan baik manfaat Toga untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dan mencegah terinfeksi virus Corona – 19 Keywords: Bangkong Semarang, Eetnoscience, Taman toga, Bangkong Semarang, Eetnoscience, Taman toga
