Abstract

This study aims to describe the initial mathematical abilities of students of the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Fisheries, University of 45 Mataram. This type of research is a survey with a quantitative descriptive approach. This research was conducted at University 45 Mataram in odd semesters in October 2022. The samples in this study were 31 students of the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Fisheries, University of 45 Mataram. Retrieval of data in this study using test instruments and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis.The results showed that 9 students or 29.03% of students were included in the category of low initial mathematical ability and 70.97% or 22 students were included in the category of very low initial mathematical ability. The average student score of 46.67 is included in the category of very low initial mathematical ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the bending discharge of the Jurang Batu, to calculate the availability and demand for primary irrigation water in the Jurang Batu, and to calculate the discharge in the primary channel of the Jurang Batu irrigation. This type of research is case study research. This research was started with the first step, namely a field survey, in addition to conducting field surveys, primary data collection was also carried out by interviewing branch heads and secondary data collection from the Pompengan Balai Besar, followed by analyzing weir discharge data, evapotranspiration data and effective rainfall. The results of this study indicate that the availability of water in the primary irrigation of Jurang Batu for the 1st planting season starting from the preparation of land preparation until the growth period for rice plants is still sufficient where the required water discharge is 272.74 l/sec/ha while the availability is 1699.75 l/sec/ Ha. The discharge in the Jurang Batu primary channel is 569,613 l/s.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the productivity of the excavator and to know the operational and maintenance costs and to know the cost of renting an excavator. This type of research is a case study using a quantitative descriptive statistical approach. This study took the location/area in Kediri Village, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. This research was conducted in July 2022. Data processing and analysis included costs of heavy equipment productivity, heavy equipment rental costs, heavy equipment maintenance and operational costs. The results showed that the productivity of the heavy equipment excavator Hyundai Robex 220-9SH in sand mining work in the village of Kediri for digging 1,336 ????3 / ????????????, digging 167 m3 of sand for 8 hours 1,336 m3, 9,352 m3 for 7 days. The productivity of the excavator to move sand to the dump truck is 95.52 ????3 / ???????????? as much as 191.04/day. Mobility and demobilization of IDR 3,000.00. The price for renting an excavator for 7 days is IDR 9,800,000. Fuel/diesel for 7 days as much as IDR 3,472,000. The operator's salary for 7 days is IDR 1,225,000. The total productivity cost of the excavator heavy equipment per week is Rp. 17,497,000. Based on the results of heavy equipment calculations in the original (existing) field conditions using 2 units of excavators, the total rental fee for each is IDR 34,994,000/week.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the use of mathematics in the field of fisheries. This literature review research examines scientific articles or research journals consisting of 7 national journals and 5 international journals. The study is limited to taking the results of previous research which includes results related to the use of mathematics in the field of fisheries. The results of the study show that mathematics in the field of fisheries is proven to be widely used, both in the use of mathematics on basic matters or entrenched habits (ethnomathematics) such as counting the number of fish, calculating feed, calculating the area of ponds, calculating buying and selling, weighing seeds and feed and predicting schedules. harvest and others. The use of more specific mathematics, for example ethnomathematics in the cultivation process by Indramayu shrimp cultivators, application of mathematical modeling to determine the growth in weight of a fish species, construction and dynamic analysis of mathematical models of fishing systems (a case study of the Nusantara Brondong fishing port), mathematics as a tool for efficient fisheries management and economic growth in Gashua, application of optimum control on fish harvesting models in non-reserved zones taking into account reserve zones, mathematical modeling applied to renewable fisheries management, mathematical modeling of predator-prey fisheries in polluted water ecosystems, mathematical modeling applied to sustainable management of marine resources, marine capture fisheries production, rainfall, and sea surface temperature with vector autoregressive (VAR) models, mathematical models of fish harvesting with selective harvest policies, and least square method mathematical models (least square method) on body shape fishing boat

Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes are one measure of the success of learning in the classroom. Learning outcomes will be related to the learning environment and learning processes related to the learning methods applied by educators. Choosing an appropriate method in a learning environment requires a study or research. The aim of this research is to find out whether the project based learning method can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) by measuring students' cognitive learning outcomes using multiple choice tests for high school level in Geography lessons. The research results show that the application of the project based learning method can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes both classically and individually. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes from an average of 75.24 to 76.67 and individually from a very high percentage of 14.29 to 23.81 with learning implementation of 86.66% to 93.33%.

Abstract

Ornamental fish are a fishery commodity that has high economic value because of their attractive pattern, shape and color, especially freshwater ornamental fish. Betta fish (Betta sp.) is a type of ornamental fish that is very popular among Indonesian people, from children to adults because it does not require difficult care. One of the main attractions of betta fish is their unique fin shape and color pattern. This research aims to describe the effect of the color of the container on the brightness of the color of Betta fish (Betta sp.). This research is a type of experimental research that uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Data collection uses observation and documentation techniques. This research used 4 different container treatments, namely: A: clear container, B: black container, C: blue container, and D: red container. Primary data collected included: (1) Changes in the brightness of the color of the betta fish, (2). Fish survival rate, and (3) Water quality parameters (temperature, pH, DO, ammonia). The observation results showed that treatment C (blue container) gave the highest increase in color brightness for betta fish, namely 2.25. Meanwhile, the lowest brightness value was found in treatment A (clear) = 0.75. However, the results of the Anova test showed that the use of different container colors did not have a real effect on increasing the brightness of the color of the betta fish

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the magnitude of the design flood discharge at various return periods of 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100 years, and to analyze the peak discharge, peak time and bottom time on the Nae River using the Snyder Synthetic Unit Hydrograph. This research method is a quantitative study with flood analysis designed by the Snyder Synthetic Unit Hydrograph. The results of the calculation of the design flood discharge with a return period of 5 years is 62,154 m3, a 10-year return period is 124,419 m3, a 20-year return period is 249,389 m3, a 25-year return period is 311,929 m3, a 50-year return period is 623,913 m3, a 100-year return period year of 1247.881 m3. The results of calculations using the Snyder HSS method are obtained, the peak time (Tp) is 7.59 hours, the peak discharge (Qp) is 4.131 m3, the base time (Tb) is 26.831 hours

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of vehicle volume on the level of road damage. And Knowing the Types of Damage that occurred on Jalan Darul Hikmah, Mataram City. The type of research used is a survey research method. The results of this study are road damage (Nr) on Jalan Darul Hikmah by 33%. There is a relationship between the volume of the type of vehicle with a road damage value of 230.88%. The higher the Vehicle Volume, the greater the damage that will occur

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of hatchery techniques in optimizing the survival rate of goldfish (Carrasius auratus) fry. This research is participatory research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the research show that the technique for hatching goldfish (Carrasius auratus) is carried out using seeding stages starting from preparation of containers and media, selection of broodstock, rearing of broodstock, feeding, spawning process, hatching of eggs, rearing of larvae and rearing of fry. The effectiveness of natural goldfish hatchery techniques is classified as optimal with a fertilization rate of 87%, hatching rate of 89.6% and survival rate of goldfish seeds of 76.9%.
