Abstract

Pusat Listrik Tenaga Diesel Gas (PLTDG) Pesanggaran menjadi salah satu pembangkit yang ada di Bali yangmempunyai posisi penting dalam sistem 150 kV Bali, kinerja kestabilan dari PLTDG Pesanggaran saat terjadigangguan merupakan hal krusial yang perlu diperhatikan. Pendekatan model SMIB untuk analisa kestabilanpada PLTDG Pesanggaran digunakan untuk memudahkan analisa, dengan cara mereduksi sistem multimesinmenjadi SMIB dengan Losses Concept. Dari hasil simulasi model tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai overshootdan settling time dari tanggapan perubahan sudut rotor dan tanggapan frekuensi pada model SMIB PLTDGPesanggaran.

Abstract

Modern electrical systems are characterized by extensive interconnection systemswith the need for electrical energy and control depending on the control system. Oneelectricity system that has been widely interconnected is the Bali electricity system. The Balisystem using island mode has four generating units that can supply electrical energy needsincluding UP Pesanggaran, UP Celukan Bawang, UP Gilimanuk and UP Pemaron. But itmust be remembered in supplying electrical energy needs are also affected by the constantchange in load, resulting in instability in the electrical system. So the need for a controlsystem that can increase the value of damper such as the Power System Stabilizer (PSS). PSScan be used to reduce frequency oscillations when interference occurs, but for PSS design itgives less good performance in different operating conditions. Problems with PSS occur dueto errors in modeling, input value input, and topology variations. Efforts are made to reduceerrors in PSS by using methods that are expected to overcome this problem, namely the fuzzylogic controller.The results of the analysis show that the system performance index usingfuzzy logic is 78.6064. Fuzzy logic has the ability to damp better and reduce errors better.

Abstract

Abstrak—Masih kurangnya suatu aktifitas manajemen energi yang berdisiplin untuk mematikan AC pada saat keluar dari ruangan yang berakibat pada tidak efisiennya penggunaan energi listrik. Dari hasil kajian Kementrian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral menunjukan bahwa setengah dari pemakaian energi listik pada sebuah gedung di pergunakan untuk pemakaian AC.Dengan mengacu pada permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan metode studi kepustakaan metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan membaca literatur-literatur yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan kontrol AC otomatis. Maka di rancang suatu sistem control Air Conditioning automatis berbasis passive infrared receiver (PIR). yang dapat membaca gerakan dan setiap signyal hasil pembacaan akan dikirim ke mikrokontroler ATmega16 kemudian akan mengirimkan signyal ke AC. Setelah AC menyala LCD akan menampilkan hasil pembacaan PIR dan LM35 yang bekerja sebagai sensor suhu. Bila suhu pada AC tidak sesuai dengan yang diinginkan pengguna dapat merubah sesuai dengan keinginan, agar tidak mengurangi rasa kenyamanan penggunana.Dari hasil yang didapat pada sistem control Air Conditioning automatis, sudah dapat melakukan ON/OFF automatis pada AC dengan perangkat yang portable. Rancangan control AC automatis ini ialah bekerja pada saat merespon aktifitas manusia dalam sebuah ruangan. Dengan mempergunakan sensor Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) dan sensor LM35 berbasis mikrokontroler ATmega16.Kata kunci: PIR, ATmega16, control AC automatis.

Abstract

The Bali Provincial Information and Statistics Communication Service requires a Trouble Ticket application to report and document internet problems that exist in the offices of the Bali Provincial government. In addition to having functions as needed, the Trouble Ticket application must also pay attention to UI and UX. The method that has been widely used to create UI designs is the Golden Ratio. In addition to the Golden Ratio, there is a Ratio that has not been developed in the field of UI design, the Ratio is the Supergolden Ratio. Supergolden Ratio is the ratio obtained from the Ratio Limit Narayana Sequence which is worth 1.4656. In this study, a Trouble Ticket application design will be designed using the Supergolden Ratio method. The Trouble Ticket and UEQ application designs are given to users to determine the user experience (UX) when using the Trouble Ticket application design. The UEQ results show that the user experience of the application design that is designed using the Supergolden Ratio method produces positive results. Aspects of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, and simulation showed excellent results, while the novelty aspect showed good results.

Abstract

Diesel oil demand as energy source at industrial, transportation and electric generating sector are increasing and it resulted with the decreasing of fossil energy source backup. Biodiesel as an alternative energy source to substitute diesel oil can be utilized from used fried oil of sardine flour. The purpose of this research was to develop the technology to convert used fried oil of sardine flour to become biodiesel using one step trans-esterification technic as an alternative of renewable energy source and also to utilize waste of used oil. Biodiesel made using one step trans-esterification technic with NaOH catalyst concentration 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0 (% m/m) from total weight of oil and methanol. Trans-esterification process run for 30, 60 and 90 minutes at 65 temperature. The biodiesel obtained was analyzed using gas chromatography and mass spectrometer (GC-MS). The quality was determined by comparing its physicochemical properties and compared to the SNI standard 04-7182-2015. The result of GC-MS showed 10 peaks corresponding to ten methyl ester (biodiesel): octanoic acid methyl ester; decanoic acid methyl ester; dodecanoic methyl ester; tridecanoic acid, 12-methyl-, methyl ester; pentadecanoic acid methyl ester; hexadecatrienoic acid methyl ester, 9-hexadecenoic acid methyl ester, 9-hexadecenoic acid methyl ester, trans-13-octadecenoic acid methyl ester, hexadecanoic acid methyl ester. The biodiesel obtained has a density of 908 kg/m3, viscosity of 3.13 mm2/s, acid value of 0.29 mg-KOH/g found in treatment 1.5% NaOH and time process of 60 minutes. Viscosity and acid value were in a good agreement with SNI standard 04-7182-2015. The research shows that used fried oil of sardine flour has possibility as biodiesel source. Abstract

Nowadays, technology development in cultural aspect has been rapidly evolved. The main reason for technological development in cultural aspect is to preserve the culture of previous era in this globalization age, particularly in Indonesia. Indonesia has many ethnics, races, languages, and cultures which have been passed from our ancestors, one of which is Kawi language. Kawi language is one of the languages which used in Javanese Hindu-Buddha Kingdoms. It was used in many literatures. At this time, only a few people understand Kawi language, particularly in Bali, so a preservation action must be done. Technology became a media to preserve and enhance understanding of Kawi language. Natural Language Processing like e-translator is the one that can be used to achieve the cultural preservation. E-translator application is a tool for translating one language to another. It translates Kawi to Balinese language word by word. Stemming methods used in this application are Bobby Nazief and Mima Adriani Algorithm, perfected by Kawi wording regulation. Translated results from Kawi to Balinese language can be in a form of a word, sentence, or paragraph. Quality measurement of the translation system has an accuracy of 82,27%. Hopefully, this application can be one of the media to preserve Kawi language in Bali and Indonesia.

Abstract

In a company, it's important to think about inventory patterns. Because without inventory management, companies can suffer losses. Perceived losses if the goods owned in the company's stock are lacking but the interest in goods is very high can cause consumers to switch to other companies and will reconsider making transactions. This also happens if the goods available in the warehouse have a large amount but the consumer's interest in the goods will experience a slight loss especially if the item has an active period so there is a buildup or loss. Therefore an item management strategy is needed. One company that can use both of these methods is Starbucks Legian. Because using the Economy Order Quality method can determine the number of subsequent orders and using a priori algorithm can help companies determine the items that need to be held more and can be given as promos with other products sold or given discounts. Using these two methods will attract consumers to shop at Starbucks Legian.

Abstract

One of the factors that affects the detection system or face recognition is lighting. Image color processing can help the face recognition system in poor lighting conditions. In this study, homomorphic filtering and intensity normalization methods used to help improve the accuracy of face image detection. The experimental results show that the non-uniform of the illumination of the face image can be uniformed using the intensity normalization method with the average value of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) obtained from the whole experiment is 22.05314 and the average Absolute Mean Brightness Error (AMBE) value obtained is 6.147787. The results showed that homomorphic filtering and intensity normalization methods can be used to improve the detection accuracy of a face image.

Abstract

Although many methods for optimizing DGplacement and its size in a network with the target of reducingsystem power losses and voltage profile have already beencommended, they still lack from several weaknesses. As a resultmuch can be done about to happen with new algorithms. Theproposed algorithms commonly have stressed their formulationson real power losses only and ignored the reactive power losses.Power systems reactive power injection plays an important rolein voltage stability control, thus the reactive power losses need tobe incorporated in optimizing DG allocation considering theirvoltage profile improvement. Whereas Particle SwarmOptimization (PSO) approach was proposed for finding theoptimal size of DG. This study work intended to apply both realand reactive power flow, power loss sensitivity factors and PSOmethod in finding the candidate buses for DG placement and itssize on Bali’s 150 kV transmission networks. The experimentalresults show that the proposed algorithm is indeed capable ofobtaining a good quality solution efficiently

Abstract

The internet has provided tremendous impact in educational development throughout the world. E-Exam system is one of educational component which has been used increasing dramatically for evaluating educational process. As an e-exam feature, uniformity of system access and time duration of the exam to all examinees is very important to be considered. Exam manager usually utilizes a fixed network to connect all e-exam terminal in order to maintain service stability on e-exam systems. However, the use of a fixed network will be difficult to be implemented if the number of examines is large. There are not many Education institutions have adequate ICT infrastructure or e-exam terminals for all students. Most institutions develop WLAN networks as an alternative to being able to provide ICT services to all students. With the development of mobile device technology (Handphone or Laptop) that strongly supports the learning process through mobile devices. This research aims to develop application of the Time Adaptive for Mobile E-Exam (TAMEx) Model. It serves to maintain the reliability of e-exam implementation on WLAN networks. The possible connection disruptions is anticipate by seeking time compensation only to participants who has experienced the connection problem. The time compensation must be accordance to the duration of the occurrence of connection loss. Application development has been carried out and is functioning properly. The report of application shows that it has succeeded in identifying the connection disturbance duration and provide time compensation to the proper examinee.
