Abstract

Monitoring temperature and humidity in cold storage is very important to prevent damage to food raw materials. Checking the temperature in the cold storage is carried out every 4 hours with the results manually written on the log sheet by the working staff and also sometimes there are staff who do not close the cold storage door tightly so that it causes an increase in temperature. Therefore an IoT-based cold storage temperature monitoring system is created using Wemos D1 R2 in real time which is very necessary. The design of this prototype uses hardware, namely the WeMos D1 R2 microcontroller because it is based on ESP8266 which can be connected to WiFi, DHT22 temperature sensor, and HC-SR501 PIR sensor. The software used is blynk and google spreadsheet. The results of this prototype design are being able to read the cold storage temperature and humidity properly which can be seen in the blynk application on a smartphone by displaying the temperature and humidity values. This prototype also has a feature that sends notifications to smartphones when the temperature is read more than 5°C and has temperature data stored on Google spreadsheets. The conclusion of this study has succeeded in designing and making a prototype of an IoT-based cold storage temperature monitoring system. The testing of the prototype can work well. The results of applying the prototype to cold storage Room 21 obtained an average temperature of 2.9°C and an average humidity of 86%.

Abstract

Abstract

Load imbalance occurs due to unequal distribution of load in each phase, this can occur in low voltage network distribution lines, one of which occurs in the DS0588 transformer, Merdeka feeder, Denpasar. Based on the data obtained, the percentage of DS0588 transformer load unbalance is 14%. The DS0588 transformer is one of the transformers at the Merdeka Denpasar Feeder with a capacity of 160 kVA which is located on Jalan Badak Agung, Renon Denpasar. Load unbalance data obtained at PLN UP3 South Bali. The research was carried out by the method of redistribution of the load on each phase under unbalanced load conditions, so that the total load of the three phases is the same or close. The results obtained were that the percentage of unbalanced loads in unbalanced conditions was 14% and when balanced conditions decreased to 2.2%. The losses in the distribution network when the unbalanced condition is 25 kW and the balanced condition drops to 23.3 kW, this shows that the load imbalance has an effect on the low voltage network losses. The higher the load imbalance, the higher the losses incurred.

Abstract

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is a dye-based organic solar cell as a photon absorber developed by Prof. Gratzel (1991). Natural dyes are a solution to replace synthetic dyes which are commonly used for DSSC because they are affordable, available in large quantities, environmentally friendly and sustainable. The aims of this study was to analyze the effect of immersion time on the disposition of flourine-doped tin oxide – Titanium dioxide (FTO-TiO2) in the natural dye chlorophyll on the current, voltage and power produced. Using papaya leaves extract with a direct gap energy of 2.428 Ev, FTO-TiO2 deposition was immersed in chlorophyll with 5 levels of immersion time and 3 groupings. Current and voltage measurements were made at the output of the DSSC prototype. Using the Solar Power Generation System, the output voltage (Voc) is 341.167 mV, the current (Isc) is 64.755 ?A and the output power is 1.49 x 10-5 w/cm2 at 60 hours of immersion.

Abstract

Indonesia has a great opportunity to utilize new renewable energy sources for conversion to electric power. One possible use of renewable energy is solar power plants (PLTS). The average potential of solar energy in Indonesia is around 4.8 kWh/m2/day. Therefore, this study is related to the design of PLTS on the roof of PT. Geber Samudra is off the grid. The design of this solar power plant is made with the help of Helioscope software with a total roof area of 125.71 m2 and a roof slope of 20°. The potential power generated is 9.8 kWp and the total annual energy production is 15.56 MWh. It takes 28 pieces of UKSOL UKs-6M 350wp solar panels, 1 Solax X3 HYBRID 10.0 T type inverter with a capacity of 10 kW, and 6 units of 48V 100Ah batteries assembled in series. Based on the results of PLTS roof design can be analyzed that the planning of PLTS roof at PT. Geber Samudra is considered worthy because it meets the criteria of net present value (NPV) of Rp. 25.603.062 is greater than zero. The Benefit-Cost Ratio (B-CR) is greater than one which is 1.12, and the discounted payback period (DPP) is 21,8 years and is achieved at the age of PLTS with the assumption of operating for 25 years.

Abstract

Decision-making errors are fatal in company operations and often result in reduced profits. In making the right decisions, in-depth internal and external data analysis is required. One effort to increase decision-making accuracy is to apply a forecasting algorithm for existing transaction data. This research uses data mining and Forecasting for car repair companies. The information system being built is expected to be able to display a list of satisfied customer data, group transaction data based on the level of damage, and provide forecasts for the number of panels, number of units, and total revenue for the next period. From this data, it will be easier for management to determine the number of workers, additional tools, and stock of materials for the vehicle repair process. This information system was built by applying three algorithms, namely C4.5, K-Means, and Holt Winter Multivariate. The C4.5 algorithm will help group customer types, K-Means will help cluster vehicle damage levels, and Holt-Winters will be used for experience. The tests carried out included testing the accuracy of each algorithm, the black box system, and the system time so that the accuracy results were 100% for the C4.5 classification algorithm and 92.28% for the accuracy of K-Means which was tested with the purity measure. Meanwhile, the MAPE value for forecast testing was between 9 – 11% for each forecast.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Time-To-Live (TTL) caching within a Content Delivery Network (CDN) model that incorporates API integration, structured to simulate a hierarchical configuration of CDN edge servers across Indonesia's administrative tiers. The analysis centers on the influence of TTL configurations on critical performance metrics—namely latency, cache hit ratio, throughput, and bandwidth consumption. Special focus is placed on scenarios in which a 1 MB data object originating from the Central Government (Level 1) is primarily accessed through edge servers positioned at the village level (Level 5). The simulation envisions a CDN architecture where in the Central Government functions as the Main Server/Origin Server, with edge servers extending across 38 provinces (Level 2), 514 regencies (Level 3), 7,277 districts (Level 4), and 83,763 villages (Level 5).

Abstract

The increasing amount of internet content makes it difficult for users to find information using the search function. This problem is overcome by classifying news based on its context to avoid material that has many interpretations. This research combines the Uncased model BiDirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer (BERT) with other models to create a text classification model. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) architecture trains a model to categorize news articles about traffic violations. Data was collected through the crawling method from the online media application API through unmodified and modified datasets. The BERT Uncased-LSTM model with the best hyperparameter combination scenario of batch size 16, learning rate 2e-5, and average pooling obtained Precision, Recall, and F1 values of 97.25%, 96.90%, and 98.10%, respectively. The research results show that the test value on the unmodified dataset is higher than on the modified dataset because the selection of words that have high information value in the modified dataset makes it difficult for the model to understand the context in text classification.

Abstract

Indoor temperature and humidity control plays an important role in creating a comfortable and energy-efficient environment, especially in tropical areas such as Denpasar, Bali. Manual use of air conditioners (AC) is often less than optimal because it does not consider the actual environmental conditions as a whole. This study designs an AC control automation system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) concept that can be controlled via a web interface. This system combines several sensors, such as LM35 for temperature, DHT22 for humidity, and PIR for motion detection, and is controlled by an Arduino UNO microcontroller. In addition, data transmission is carried out via the HM-10 Bluetooth module and a web-based monitoring interface built using the Python programming language. The developed system is able to display temperature, humidity, and user presence data in real time, and automatically regulates AC operation based on these environmental conditions. Tests show that the LM35 sensor has an error of 1,42% and the DHT22 sensor is 0.73%, with an effective range of PIR and IR sensors of up to 4 meters. Overall, this system has succeeded in saving AC energy consumption by up to 35.49%. Based on these results, this system is considered feasible to be applied in real environments as an efficient and adaptive temperature control solution.
