Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang sangat menentukan keberhasilan pelaksanaan brachyteraphy terhadap penderita kanker adalah faktor kejelian dan kematangan petugas radioterapi dalam perencanaan perlakuan. Hal-hal pokok yang menjadi dasar pembuatan perencanaan perlakuan kanker antara lain : informasi medis pasien, teknik penyinaran, simulasi dan verifikasi, serta perhitungan dosis yan tepat. Melalui penelitian ini dirancang sistem perencanaan perlakuan untuk model kanker prostat menggunakan penanaman seed I-125 sejumlah 16 seed pada jarak 0,5 cm, 1 cm, dan 1,5 cm dari tumor. Simulasi brachyterpy dilakukan menggunakan program EGSnrc dengan model 6711 seed I-125, menggunakan data pembanding TG-43. Sistem perencanaan perlakuan brachyterapy yang digunakan untuk target (kanker prostat) dirancang dengan ukuran volume 4x4x4 cm2, jarak voxel 11-30 untuk x, 11-30 untuk y, dan 11-30 untuk z. Pada bladder dengan ukuran volume 2x2x2 cm2, dengan ukuran 31-40 untuk x, 21-40 untuk y, dan 31-40 untuk z. Pada rektum dirancang menggunakan ukuran 1x1x1 cm2 dengan jarak voxel 1-5 untuk x, 21-25 untuk y dan 21-25 untuk z. Jaringan sehat disekitar kanker dirancang dengan ukuran volume 40x40x40 cm2 dengan jarak voxel 1-40 untuk x, 1-40 untuk y dan 1-40 untuk z. Sistem perancangan perlakuan brachyterapy dilakukan dengan menanam seed yang berisi radioaktif I-125 pada target (kanker). Hasil distribusi dari dosis dihitung menggunakan Electron Gamma Shower nrc (EGSnrc). Katakunci: perencanaan perlakuan, kanker prostat, brachyteraphy.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the variation effect of the amount and the location of seed  I-125 in dose absorbing behaviors of the target (prostate) and other organs at risk (bladder and rectum). The phantom model is 8x8x8 cm3 cube-shaped with 0.2x0.2x0.2 cm3 voxel size.   I-125 seeds are implanted into the prostate with variation of spacing and number. DOSXYZnrc is implemented to calculate doses.  To analyze dose distribution of each organ, the Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) program is developed using MATLAB. From this investigation, the effect of location of seeds influences the dose volume histogram for all organs. For example, the volume of prostate that receives 20% or more of the maximum dose (VB20) decrease around 40%, if the spacing among the seeds increases from 0.5 cm to 1 cm. But the spacing of seeds has insignificance effect on VB100 for each organ. This fenomena also appears if the number of seeds is changed. The spacing - and the number of seed have important role in the dose distribution not only on the target but also on the organs at risk. Therefore, the optimization for both parameters is needed.Key words: Brachytherapy, Prostate, DOSXYZnrc, DVH

Abstract

This study aims to determine factors influence teenage mothers were married to the mother's reproductive health disorders in Jorong Bukik Apik Nagari Padang Tarok Kabupaten Agam of West Sumatra in 2012. The research method used in population study by the survey technique, where the number of teenage mothers who were married at age totaled 35 peopleBased on the results of the study found that factors influencing maternal age married mother Adolescent reproductive health is the lack of knowledge of the signs of pregnancy, pregnant women are at risk, as well as the lack of check gestation. Mother's knowledge about reproductive health will be improved by providing intensive counseling to these mothers.Key words: reproductive health, Jorong Bukik Apik

Abstract

One treatment for cervical cancer is to use radioactive sources that directly target the cancer cell called brachytherapy. This study is aimed to determine dose distribution at phantom pelvis using the DOSXYZnrc Monte Carlo code. The phantom was derived from a CT scan image of the DICOM-type pelvis with a size of 50 × 50 × 28.8 cm obtained from Santosa Kopo Hospital. The source used was Ir-192, which makes an asymmetrical beam with a size of 0.45 × 0.09 × 0.09 cm. Monte Carlo simulation was performed to determine the dose distribution of the Ir-192 source on cervical cancer CT images based on the Manchester system. The Monte Carlo simulation was divided into two models with distance variations on the applicator. Model A used TPS data with a distance between sources of 0.9 cm, while model B had a distance between sources of 0.5 cm. The distribution of dose resulting from the Monte Carlo simulation was analyzed and compared with TPS data. The results showed that at the range of 50 %, dose distribution in model A reaches the end of 3.9 cm. When compared to the range of 50 % dose distribution at the TPS results that reaches the point of 4 cm, it produces a deviation value of 2.5 %, which is still within the tolerance range. Model A and Model B provide different dose distribution. In model B, it reaches 3.86 cm, resulting in a deviation of 1.02 %, which is still within the tolerance range. The resulting γ-index value for the 50 % dose distribution was 2.26, while the whole area's GPR value was 94.13 %. This indicates a difference in dose distribution between the two models. Therefore, the smaller the distance between the sources, the shorter the dose distribution range with relatively more uniform dose distribution.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada dunia pendidikan. Proses pendidikan yang awalnya dilakukan secara tatap muka telah bergeser menjadi pembelajaran daring. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa merasakan penurunan kemampuan belajarnya terutama dalam hal literasi. Siswa yang baru mulai belajar membaca di sekolah dasar dianjurkan untuk belajar di rumah secara daring bersama orang tuanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kategori kemampuan literasi siswa di SD Negeri 21 Pasir Tinggi, Kabupaten Agam. Orang tua siswa yang sebagian besar adalah karyawan PT AMP bekerja dari pukul 08.00 hingga 17.00 WIB, sehingga tidak bisa mendampingi siswanya saat belajar daring di rumah. 2 dari 10 orang tua/wali siswa juga menderita buta huruf. Pada malam hari, orang tua memilih untuk melakukan kegiatan lain untuk menambah penghasilan. Hal ini mengakibatkan sangat sedikitnya dukungan orang tua terhadap anak dalam kegiatan belajar. Akses internet juga menjadi pemicu keberhasilan e-learning, namun SD Negeri 21 wilayah Pasir Tinggi, merupakan salah satu daerah terpencil yang jaringan internetnya sulit. Oleh karena itu, untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes yang penulis amati pada tabel “Reading Observation Checklist”. Data penelitian yang diperlukan diambil dari seluruh siswa SD Negeri 21 Pasir Tinggi yang berjumlah 31 siswa dengan memperhatikan perilaku membaca siswa dalam 10 kali pertemuan. Hasil analisis kemampuan siswa menunjukkan bahwa 55% dari seluruh siswa di SD Negeri 21 Pasir Tinggi tidak menguasai membaca, sehingga sulit menerapkan pembelajaran sesuai tingkatannya.

Abstract

This work aims to study the characteristics of photon beams through phase space file (PSF) analysis using Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. 6 MV photon beams from the Varian Clinac iX were simulated using PRIMO software. The beam parameters were validated by evaluating the percentage depth dose and dose profile. A full PSF was scored at the downstream end of the linear accelerator (LINAC) upper and lower parts and analyzed to determine the beam fluence profile, energy fluence profile, angular distribution, and spectral distribution. The results show that within PSF 1, the photon beam has an average scattering angle of 10.74° and a mean energy of 1.18 MeV. In PSF 2, the average scattering angle decreases to 2.63° while the mean energy increases to 1.50 MeV. The field size variation at 20×20, 30×30, and 40×40 cm2 affects both the angular and spectral distribution of the photon beam. The photon beam in PSF 2 exhibits an average scattering angle of 4.56, 6.31, and 6.66°, with corresponding mean energy values of 1.40, 1.32, and 1.30 MeV, respectively. These findings show that as the field size increases, the photon beam scatters at a larger angle while the energy decreases.

Abstract

PRL Rajo Tigo Selo Farmer Group is a community service partner of Bukittinggi Prima Nusantara University in 2024. The partner is an environmentally friendly farmer group located in Jorong Babukik, Nagari Kamang Mudiak, Agam Regency, with 21 group members. These partners are divided into three divisions: the Agriculture Division, the Livestock Division, and the Agricultural and Livestock Products Processing Division. PRL Rajo Tigo Selo has been involved in agriculture and livestock since the establishment of this farmer group. The problem faced by the partners is the lack of innovation in processing agricultural and livestock products. Well-packaged products are not only attractive to consumers but also meet hygiene and food safety standards. This innovative food processing product is being applied through packaging technology activities to several micro, small, and medium enterprise products belonging to farmer groups, such as galo-galo honey, roasted salted eggs, vegetable nuggets, and green lado duck. The packaging technology using a vacuum sealer and sterilisation tools can extend the shelf life and resistance of products to microbiological damage. Based on this, the community service team conducted training on packaging technologies for farmer group members and UMKM stakeholders in Jorong Babukik to increase the competitiveness of local products. The results of this community empowerment are being used as the main source of stunting prevention in Jorong Babukik, Kamang Mudiak, Agam Regency. The activities carried out include providing counselling on stunting. Agricultural development activities are carried out by using household waste to transform it into compost using biocompost techniques.

Abstract

Kamang Magek District is one of the sub-districts located in the eastern part of Agam Regency. Many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are developing in Kamang Magek District, several UKM and farmer groups produce various by-products of organic waste which often become environmental problems. In addition to MSME waste, there is also household waste and market waste which often cause environmental pollution. These wastes can be used as feed for maggot development. Maggot cultivation apart from being a solution to environmental pollution is also a good source of protein for poultry feed which can increase livestock productivity. The community problems encountered in Kamang Magek District are the large amount of organic waste that pollutes the environment, the low productivity of livestock and the income of farmer groups. Community service is carried out through lectures, discussions, socialization of science and technology and demonstrations of how and how to apply maggot as animal feed. The Community Service was held in the BPP Hall of Kamang Magek District attended by 15 duck breeders, chicken breeders and catfish breeders selected by BPP Kamang Magek District. Based on the discussion results, more than 75% of breeders only provide feed in the form of rice bran and household waste residue and only 15% of breeders provide feed in the form of self-formulated feed using corn, bran and concentrate purchased at the poultry shop and 10% of breeders provide concentrate feed that has become the result of a feed factory formulation. Of all the breeders, there are no breeders who use maggot as feed for their livestock, this is because there are no breeders who have succeeded in cultivating maggot even though they have tried several times but failed. Based on the results of discussions with participants, breeders are interested in developing maggot cultivation because of the large amount of waste used as maggot feed as a cost-efficient solution for duck or chicken feed.
