Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to show the cause of the appearance two versions of art Rentak Kudo for wedding celebration in Rawang village. Method of research is qualitative. The collecting data : 1) Literature study 2) Observation 3) interview 4) Documentation 5) Photography. The analysis of data classified by using Primer Data and Sekunder Data, after separated then arranged sistematically. The result of research got that there are two versions of Rentak Kudo because the change os sense of community between each of Rentak Kudo versions have their own supporter. The appearance of the new Rentak Kudo because of the old Rentak kudo did not have standard entertain qualified of community nowadays.   Kata Kunci: Studi, Rentak Kudo, Pesta Pernikahan,Rawang

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the implementation of learning musical ensemble in 9th grade students of IIS 3 at SMA 1 Painan. This type of research is qualitative research that uses descriptive methods. The object of this study was the students of grade XI IIS 1, amount of students are 34 students who were attending cultural arts learning that contained music learning with music ensemble material at SMA 1 Painan.Based on the results of research, researcher found in the field, it can be explained that the learning of musical ensembles at SMA Negeri 1 Painan has an implementation process which is not in accordance with the lesson plan used by the teacher in the classroom. The incopability of the implementation in class room caused by several reasons expressed by the teacher, they are the Lesson Plan was  made by other parties and lack of musical instruments at schools so students need to provide their own musical instruments. Even though, the result of  learning in grade XI IIS 1 runs well. Students are taught to be able to arrange a simple musical ensembles independently. Students are also required to be able to work together and be active in groups to discuss and think creatively as the government's goals about character building for students. Keywords: Learning, Music ensemble

Abstract

The purpose of this lesson is for students to understand concepts and types and be able to play ensemble music. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The stages of data analysis are data classification, data purification, data analysis, data description, and data inference. Based on the results of this study, it was revealed that in meetings I, II, III, and IV, the process of implementing learning, on average, students already understood the basic concepts of ensemble music. Still, some students did not understand the types of ensemble music, and examples of ensemble music could not be classified. Students already know how to play the recorder  well, although a few students have not mastered how to play the recorder  with ascending and descending techniques. However, overall, the ensemble music learning in class VII MTsN 03 Padang City is good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan Talempong VST Instrument Plugin bagi para praktisi dan akademisi dalam pembelajaran Musik Digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Instrumen VST Talempong sebagai media yang valid dan praktis. Metode penelitian ini mengadopsi Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari (1) Define (mendefinisikan); (2) Desain (desain); Mengembangkan (pengembangan); dan (4) Menyebarkan (menyebarkan). Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yaitu praktisi musik digital sebagai ahli validasi data valid, dosen dan mahasiswa. Validitas ahli media sebesar 87%, penilaian hasil uji kepraktisan oleh dosen dan praktisi sebesar 91% dan penilaian kepraktisan oleh mahasiswa sebesar 90,6%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Instrumen VST Talempong layak dan praktis untuk digunakan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam naskah drama “mencari taman” karya Norca M. Massardi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah naskah drama “mencari taman” karya Norca M. Massardi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara membaca dan memahami naskah, lalu mengidentifikasi. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data adalah mengidentifikasi data, mengklasifiksi data, menyimpulkan dan membuat laporan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat sepuluh nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah drama “mencari taman” karya Norca M. Massardi diantaranya yaitu nilai pendidikan karakter religius, nilai pendidikan karakter jujur, nilai pendidikan karakter toleransi, nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin, nilai pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu, nilai pendidikan karakter mandiri, nilai pendidikan karakter bersahabat/komunikatif, nilai pendidikan karakter cinta damai, nilai pendidikan karakter peduli sosial, dan nilai pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab. Dalam naskah drama terdapat dialog yang berupa ungkapan yang diucapkan oleh pemberi tuturan dan dijawab oleh penerima ujaran dan disitulah dipaparkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. This research aims to find and describe the values of character education contained in the script of the drama "looking for a garden" by Norca M. Massardi. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a content analysis method. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself. The source of data used is the script of the drama "looking for a garden" by Norca M. Massardi. The data collection technique is carried out by reading and understanding the manuscript, then identifying. The steps of analyzing data are identifying data, classifying data, inferring and creating reports. The results of this study revealed that there are ten character education values in the drama script "Looking for a Garden" by Norca M. Massardi, including the value of religious character education, the value of honest character education, the value of tolerance character education, the value of discipline character education, the value of curiosity character education, the value of independent character education, the value of friendly/communicative character education, the value of peace-loving character education,  the value of social care character education, and the value of responsibility character education. In the drama script there is a dialogue in the form of expressions spoken by the speaker and answered by the recipient of the speech and that is where the values of character education are explained.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the form of the Siontong Tabang song in the Gandang Tasa ensemble in Nagari Sunua Kurai Taji Pariaman. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with the researcher as the main instrument, assisted by writing tools and a camera. Data were collected through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis carried out through the steps of data collection, description, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Gandang Tasa is a traditional art from Pariaman, performed by an ensemble consisting of 6 to 7 players, including 6 Gandang players and 1 Tasa player. Gandang Tasa is usually performed at certain events, especially in the Tabuik ritual, to boost the spirit and solemnity of the community. The songs commonly performed in the Tabuik ritual include Oyak Tabuik, Sosoh, and Katidiang Sompong. The Siontong Tabang song plays an important role as pangka maatam in the Tabuik procession, with a short repetitive rhythmic pattern starting with Tasa playing. In the modern era, Gandang Tasa is no longer limited to traditional or ritual processes but also serves as entertainment and a means of cultural preservation for the people of Pariaman and its surroundings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the perceptions of students of class XI F.8 towards learning cultural arts (music) at SMAN 1 Suliki District. This research is descriptive in nature using a quantitative approach. The method used in this research is survey method. The object of this research is the students of class XI.F 8 SMA N 1 Suliki, which was chosen to explain the perception of students on the learning of cultural arts (music). The research data collection was carried out in the following ways. 1) Observation, 2) Interview, 3) Questionnaire, 4) Literature study, and 5) Documentation study. Data Analysis Techniques in this study using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been described, it can be concluded that the perception of students of class XI F.8 towards learning cultural arts (music) SMAN 1 Suliki District is good. A good student perception of learning will allow students to understand the subject matter and achieve their learning abilities and goals. The better the student's perception of learning, the better the student's understanding of the subject matter so that the competence achieved will also be good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics and techniques contained in the song Vals Venezolano. No. 2 Antonio Lauro's work on classical guitar by Ana Vidovic in a 2015 video performance at the Asamsaal building in Ettlingen, Germany. Tavi jinariu, on Elite Guitarist Youtube account in 2018. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, in this case it will describe, describe and describe the characteristics and techniques and training methods to be able to master the technique. The object of research became the center of attention and the target of research was the classical guitar playing technique in Vals Venezolano No. 2 by Antonio Lauro. This research instrument is the researcher himself with the help of several tools to process data such as audio and audio visual recording devices, recording sheets and interview guidelines. This type of data uses primary data taken from Antonio Lauro's Vals Venezolano No. 2 score and secondary data taken from video recordings from Youtube, books or literature and interviews with experts. The step in analyzing the data is the acquisition of interviews from sources, observation and documentation. The results showed that the techniques used in Antonio Lauro's classical guitar: Vals Venezolano No. 2 were apoyando, tirando, harmonic, barre, slur. The characteristics in this song are rubato, syncopation, hemiola, con grazia and waltz. In a special game technique, Ana Vidovic added a 3-string harmonic to fret 12 as a closing style of Ana Vidovic personally that was not listed on the score.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the effects of learning arts and culture post-COVID-19 on behavior, especially study habits, in Class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kepahiang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research instrument was the researcher herself, assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments, observation notes, and cellphone cameras. Data collection techniques carried out by way of literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation the steps for analyzing data are classifying data, clarifying problems, analyzing data, describing data, and concluding data. The results of the study stated that the results of post-covid observations of cultural arts learning had shown a lot of progress, especially in their study habits. By implementing face-to-face learning, it can be said that it has quite an effect on class XII MIPA 1 students. This effect is due to the direct supervision of the teacher within the scope of the school. When learning returns to offline, where students are able to follow the learning process coherently, get good supervision from the teacher, and are more creative in expressing their imagination, As well as direct communication between teachers and students, this helps students better understand the learning material provided by the teacher, and of course, their study habits become regular and vice versa. If learning is not supervised by the teacher, students will be lazy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of students' music ensembles using the peer tutor method in grade XI F 6 SMA Negeri 3 Padang. This study used Classroom Action Research. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The data is analyzed by a percentage formula. The use of peer teaching methods can improve students' ability to play ensembles at SMA Negeri 3 Padang. The application of peer tutor methods in learning mixed music ensembles in groups can raise students' enthusiasm and performance in learning activities. The results of learning completeness in cycle I were 60.25 with fairly good criteria, in cycle II learning completeness increased which was obtained 86.50 with good criteria. The increase from cycle I to cycle II was 26.25%.
