Abstract

WeChat Pay is a Chinese payment platform that makes it easy for users to make mobile phone payments using the Quick Response Code (QR) technology in cooperating merchants. The purpose is to know the characteristics and factors that influencing Chinese tourists doing payment transactions using WeChat Pay in Bali by taking case studies at Discovery Shopping Mall Kuta, and the sample is Chinese tourist who has made a payment transaction using WeChat Pay at Discovery Shopping Mall Kuta. Sampling technique using purposive sampling on 110 respondents. Data collection techniques were conducted in several ways, including: observation, questionnaires, interview, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis techniques done with several stages, including: validity test, reliability test, and factor analysis. The result is there are seven factors that influence the decision of the China's tourist to make a payment transaction using WeChat Pay at Discovery Shopping Mall, including: (1) ease of various transaction activities, (2) increase efficiency, (3) the cost of charge, (4) ease of using/operation, (5) ease of understanding and learning, (6) improve performance, and (7) user satisfaction. The results of factors analysis is ease of work becomes the most dominant factor. This factor consists of several variables, including: Ease of various transaction activities, improve accessibility, availability of payments, and transaction capabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing strategy of tour package at Truly Asia tour and travel through online system. SWOT analysis is the method for this research and implemented into SWOT matrix table to find out the right strategy for the tour package at Truly Asia tour and travel through online system. Now days Marketing strategy through online system very popular and the conclusion of this research is Truly Asia as a company need to improve their variant of tour package in order to make tourist more interest to visit the company website. Besides that, increase the cheap price must be accompanied by quality of products to suit with the target, providing accurate information on the website is rather tourist confidence crisis, as well as using the internet connection system that has good quality, in order to minimize system error.

Abstract

Every tourism potential owned by Bali needs to be studied, researched and developed in order to meet the needs of the economy community. One of the tourism potential that needs to be developed in Bali is the wine tourism. Buleleng Regency is one of the largest wineries and also the house of the oldest wine factory on the island of Bali. But there are still many foreign tourists who are not aware of the existence of the wine producing region. This study aims to determine the perception of tourists about the wine products and to know the development strategy that must be done in order to support the activities of wine tourism in Buleleng Regency. The results of this study showing that the tourists perception regarding Bali wine product shows that they feel the quality of the products is good and also shows their interest to do wine tourism in Buleleng Regency. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, there are several strategies that can be applied to develop the wine tourism such as increasing the promotion of tourism in Bali to be better known by foreign tourists, government working together with the wine-producing companies to jointly develop wine tourism activities in Buleleng, and the last by expanding the area of wineries in the district of Buleleng so there is an image or existence of wine tourism in Buleleng. In connection with the results and discussion in this study, the suggestion that is expected to be done by the government is to work with companies that produce wine in improving the quality of products and services, and pay attention to periodicity and innovation on a regular basis.

Abstract

The tourism development in many tourism destination appears to ignore history. Geneology or social record as a history of the formation of existing conditions is considered less important. This study try to understand by apply the tourimsmorphosis concept in Badung, Banyuwangi and East Luwu. Tourismmorphosis as the evolution of tourism can be both progress and regress as an inevitable change. Consisting of the introductory stage, the reaction stage, the institutionalization stage and the compromise stage. The research paradigm is qualitative with qualitative methods and techniques, hermeneutic data analysis techniques and thick descriptive data presentation. The research results understanding that Badung was at the compromise stage, Banyuwangi at the institutional stage and East Luwu at the introductory stage. Hence, the consider of research findings could be used as a basis for future tourism development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya isu yang mencuat terkait dengan pesawat low cost carrier yang dikatakan bahwa pesawat low cost carrier tidak aman dan hanya disukai oleh para wisatawan karena murah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan wisatawan dalam menggunakan maskapai penerbangan Airasia. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling dimana sampel yang digunakan adalah para wisatawan yang pernah berpergian menggunakan Airasia untuk tujuan berlibur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 155 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis faktor. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa responden yang mengisi kuesioner terdiri dari 81 orang wisatawan Indonesia dan 74 orang wisatawan Asing dengan komposisi 85 orang pria dan 70 orang wanita dan diantaranya sebanyak 111 orang berusia 18-28 tahun, 23 orang berusia 29-39 tahun dan 21 orang berusia diatas 39 tahun. Faktor yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini ada 9 yaitu faktor harga dan pelayanan, faktor layanan khusus dan tambahan, faktor asuransi, kebersihan dan ketangkasan petugas darat, faktor model pesawat dan layanan check-in, faktor jaminan dan keramahan petugas darat, faktor keramahan selama terbang, faktor kebersihan dan penampilan faktor layanan selama terbang dan faktor penampilan pilot. Faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan wisatawan dalam menggunakan maskapai penerbangan Airasia adalah faktor pelayanan. Diharapkan Airasia dapat terus memperbaiki hal-hal yang dinilai kurang memuaskan bagi wisatawan seperti kebersihan di atas pesawat, penampilan pramugari, keandalan pilot menerbangkan pesawat, pelayanan pramugari selama penerbangan serta penampilan pilot.

Abstract

Virtual tours are a form of online communication marketing born in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 due to the use of the internet of things as the backbone of movement and connectivity between humans and machines. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online communication marketing through a virtual tour on the Museum of the Asian-African Conference's website. The operational definition of the variables used was the AIDA variable consists of attention, interest, desire, and action with 14 total indicators. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. The researcher used the quota sampling technique by determining the number of samples taken was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used was a quantitative descriptive analysis using the Customer Response Index (CRI) calculation. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of online communication marketing through a virtual tour on the website of the Museum of the Asian-African Conference has an average AIDA score of 3.28, which is on a scale range of 3.25 - 4.0 in a very effective way and has a CRI value of 50.7% of the overall measurement of respondents which means effective.

Abstract

This research discuss, Chinese tourist preferences on cultural tourism product in Bali, and its characteristics. The aim of this research is to identify the characteristics and to determine how Chinese tourist preference on the cultural tourism product in Bali. The method of data collection utilized observation, questionnaire, literature study, and documentation. The result shows that the characteristic of the Chinese tourist in Bali from point of view tourists descriptor are dominated by Chinese tourist whose age are 25-44 years and their job as private employees who have married. Based on trip-descriptor are dominated by the purpose of their traveling to Bali are the holiday. Most of them got information from the internet, and arranged by tour package with the length of stay is 4-7 days in Bali. Preferences of Chinese tourist toward cultural tourism in Bali are in term of historical buildings prefered to Tanah Lot Temple, in term of historical places prefered to Bedugul, in term of traditional dances prefered to Barong Dance, in term of local food prefered to Suckling pig, in term of handicrafts prefered to traditional statues, in term of indigenous village tours prefered to the traditional village of Panglipuran, in term of Subak prefered to the Subak in Tegalalang, in term of cultural festival prefered to the Bali Arts Festival, in term annual ceremony prefered to have tour during on Nyepi day, in term pre-wedding tour prefered to wear traditional Balinese costume, and in term spa product prefered traditional Balinese massage.

Abstract

Pembelian kebutuhan perjalanan wisata secara online merupakan bagian dari transaksi business to-customer (B2C). Produk yang ditawarkan biasanya terdiri dari: pemesanan paket wisata, penjualan tiket pesawat dan kereta api, kamar hotel dan penyewaan transportasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendorong wisatawan melakukan keputusan pembelian tiket pesawat melalui mobile booking pada situs Traveloka.com serta faktor yang paling banyak berkontribusi dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner online dan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara langsung (offline) kepada 250 responden, penentuan responden ditetapaka menggunakn metode purposive sampling, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis faktor. Hasil analisis faktor yang didapatakan menjelaskan 67,066% dari keseluruhan total variance, dan hasil analisis data menunjukkan empat faktor terbentuk yang mendorong wisatawan melakukan keputusan pembelian tiket pesawat melalui mobile booking pada situs Traveloka.com, yaitu: kemudahan dan sistem informasi website (24,396 %), pelayanan konsumen/customer service (15,211%), citra perusahaan (14,681 %), dan motivasi pembelian (12,779%), adapun faktor yang paling berkontribusi dalam mendorong wisatawan melakukan keputusan pembelian tiket pesawat melalui mobile booking pada situs Traveloka.com adalah faktor terbentuk yang memiliki faktor laoding tertinggi dari keseluruhan faktor yang terbentuk, yaitu faktor “Kemudahan dan Sistem Informasi Website”, faktor ini terdiri dari 13 variabel yakni: (1) Kemudahan pencarian situs web, (2) kecepatan waktu mengakses (load time), (3) nama domain perusahaan, (4) kemudahan pemesanan, (5) Informasi yang lengkap, (6) Informasi yang akurat, (7) Informasi yang menarik, (8) Pemaparan informasi yang tepat, (9) Ketersediaan dan aksesibilitas, (10) Harga yang kompetitif, (11) Pengalaman secara keseluruhan, (12) Keamanan data pribadi, dan (13) Keamanan sistem pembayaran.

Abstract

This paper addressed the process of the development of community-based rural tourism products in Pinge Tourism Village. Community-based rural tourism products are acknowledged as a tourist attraction in rural areas created by local communities be based on the tourism resources that possess by communities themselves. Pinge Tourism Village has a various of tourism resources that can be developed as a local community-based rural tourism product. From the inside of the physical environment resources to the diversity of social and cultural heritage. In adaptation with the mapping of tourism resources, can be determined the themes of development of community-based rural tourism products. There are four themes that can be considered for the development of community-based rural tourism products in Pinge Tourism Village, specifically spiritual routine, agricultural routine, gastro-cultural routine, and communal routine. These four themes further form the basis for determining community-based rural tourism products or special interest tourism activities of traditional villages in Pinge Tourism Village. There are several guidelines for the development of community-based rural tourism products that can be developed in Pinge Tourism Village such as spiritual tourism, agritourism, culinary tourism, and rural nightlife attraction.

Abstract

Tour guide has an importan role in tourism activities. It can be seen from the function of a tour guide as such are conduits for privileged 'inside' information on the tourist destination. The purpose of this study is to find out how the tourist perception to the quality service of tour guide in Bali.Data collection techniques used in this research is a questionnaire and literature study for determine this sample was using purposive sampling by gave questionnaires to 400 respondents. The data was analysis used descriptive quantitative. There are two types of respondents, domestic tourists numbered 263 respondents and foreign tourists numbered 137 respondents, each divided according to the proportional 0.05. This study used five variables and consists of twenty indicators.Data collection techniques used in this research is questionnaires and literature study. In determining the sample was using purposive sampling by distributed questionnaires to 400 respondents. Data analysis techniques used in descriptive quantitative. There are two types of respondents domestic tourists amounted to 263 respondents and foreign tourists numbered 137 respondents, each divided according to the proportional 0.05. This study uses five variables and consists of twenty indicators.The results of this research is the tourist perception overall consisting of domestic and foreign tourists can be concluded, tourists perception of the tour guides service quality in Bali is already very good.
