Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Lampung is an industrial company that processes rubber processed materials into the rubber of type SIR 20. The problem that occurs with this type of product is that the PO content does not comply with predetermined quality standards. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of product damage using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, to obtain the greatest risk of failure in the production process in the value of the Risk Priority Number (RPN), and to provide recommendations for its improvement. The results of the data collection analysis are described through a Check Sheet Diagram to determine the damage from several rubber data samples of the SIR 20 type, then described the Cause Failure Mode Effect (CFME) to determine the factors that cause damage to PO levels originating from human, material and work environment factors. After that, describes the FMEA analysis to determine the RPN value, where the highest RPN value is the different rubber freezers, loud engine sounds and vibrations, and the operator's lack of accuracy in regulating the temperature of the dryer. The recommended improvement proposal is to receive good quality raw materials and increase the price of raw materials, as well as provide guidance to farmers about good types of rubber freezers, requiring the use of earplugs so that machine noises do not interfere with the operator's work, providing training and warning to operators not to make mistakes, and carry out intensive inspections of operators.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Every industry must make gradual improvements in order to be able to compete in the era of globalization. King's Bakery is a home industry that produces bread. The condition of bread marketing in the King's Bakery business has not been maximized. This study aims to determine the order of priority criteria and sub-criteria in the selection of a bread marketing strategy at King's Bakery and which strategy should be chosen by King's Bakery based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method for ranking decision alternatives and selecting the best one with several criteria. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) develops a numerical value to find a ranking or priority order of various alternatives in solving a problem, based on the extent to which each alternative meets the decision maker's criteria. The results of this study obtained an assessment of the importance of the criteria in the selection of a bread marketing strategy showing the following priority or weighting scale: the first priority was place (0.546), the second and third priorities are products and distribution channels with the same value (0.231), and the fourth priority was the organization (0.104). From the results of the assessment of the level of alternative importance in the selection of bread marketing strategies, the priority scale or weights are as follows: the first priority was strategy A (3.614), the second priority was strategy C (2.366), the third priority was strategy B (2,000). The best bread marketing strategy that can be used as an alternative to improve bread marketing was strategy A, because it has the highest overall weight value. With technological innovation, it will accelerate production and facilitate marketing for the company.

Abstract

Many local companies were that engaged in the manufacturing of coffee beans into semi-finished carelessly ready for export. To maintain the product to fit customer demand, it is very necessary quality control. The problems are the following: (1) The destruction of coffee still within the limits of control or not. (2) Any type of damage that occurs in coffee product were produced. (3) The factors that cause damage to the coffee product. (4) Application of statistical tools in controlling product quality coffee and pressing the occurrence of damage to the product. This study aims to determine how the implementation of quality control using statistical tools useful in efforts to control the level of damage to the product in the company. P control chart analysis results indicate that the process is in a state of uncontrolled or still experiencing irregularities. Based on Pareto diagram, priority repairs that need to be done is for the dominant type of damage that the black seed (25.68%), broken seeds (19.23%), brown seeds (17.60%) and more than a hollow seeds (15.99%). the causal diagram analysis can be seen from the factors that cause damage to human factors/workers, machine production, work methods, materials/raw materials and the work environment, so the company can take precautions and repair the damage.

Abstract

CV. Meuble Puspa Jaya adalah perusahaan industri rumah tangga yang bergerak di bidang produksi dan penjualan meubel. Produk CV. Meuble Puspa Jaya adalah kursi goyang bali. Permasalahan yang dialami perusahaan adalah belum optimalnya pengendalian biaya persediaan bahan baku kayu yang mencakup biaya pesan, biaya simpan, dan kapan tersedianya untuk membuat kursi kayu goyang bali. Tujuan yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis biaya persediaan bahan baku kayu pada produk kursi goyang bali dengan beberapa metode alternatif teknik lot sizing, yaitu metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Part Period Balancing (PPB), Period Order Quantity (POQ), Least Unit Cost (LUC), dan Minimum Cost per Period (Algoritma Silver Meal). Berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh periode yang paling optimal yang digunakan dan dengan biaya persediaan yang paling minimum adalah metode Minimum Cost per Period, yaitu dengan total biaya persediaan bahan baku yang digunakan sebesar Rp 477.000,00.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam program kualitas yang baik, yang akan secara efektif mengeliminasi pemborosan dan meningkatkan kemampuan bersaing perusahaan, harus diwujudkan. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana pelaksanaan pengendalian kualitas kemasan glukosa dengan metode SQC (Statistical Quality Control) dan menemukan penyebab terjadinya cacat produk Glukosa dengan kemasan jerigen 20 liter proses sacharification, decolorization, deionization dan evaporation. Metode menggunakan alat bantu statistik berupa check sheet, histogram, peta kendali p, diagram Pareto dan diagram sebeb-akibat.. Hasil analisis peta kendali p menunjukkan bahwa proses berada dalam keadaan tidak terkendali atau  masih mengalami penyimpangan. Prioritas perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan untuk menekan jumlah cacat dapat dilakukan pada 2 jenis kerusakan yang dominan yaitu kerusakan kemasan tutup (43,75%) dan volume (40,34%). Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kerusakan produk adalah mesin, metode, lingkungan. Sehingga perusahaan dapat mengambil tindakan pencegahan serta perbaikan kerusakan.

Abstract

Optimal production is the main goal in a business, which is to achieve maximum profit. CV. Roti Ca is a company engaged in food products. CV. Roti Ca was established since 2011 producing sandwiches and flatbreads with chocolate and green bean flavors. This study aims to determine the optimal combination of products so as to get maximum results using linear programming. The method used in this study is linear programming which can be applied to produce bread with a simplex model in order to obtain the optimum solution so that profits can be achieved. The results showed that the optimal sales obtained by the factory was Rp. 2,084,568,000, and the number of breads that can be produced each month is 2,605,711 pcs with ca 1,185679 pcs of chocolate sandwiches, ca 306,913 pcs of chocolate flatbread and 1.131,119 pcs of green bean flatbread. Keywords: Linear Programming Method, Simplex Method, Optimization, Bread, Qm For Windows

Abstract

Abstrak. Greyoung Bakery merupakan perusahaan industri roti yang sedang berkembangkeberadaanya. Pada perusahaan ini, pemilik usaha belum melakukan pencatatan khusus mengenaistrategi dalam usahanya serta faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk menganalisis strategi bisnis dengan pendekatan SWOT. Dalam penelitian ini diperlukanpenelusuran data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Metode ini selanjutnya digunakan untukmenganalisis faktor-faktor dan strategi pengembangan analisa SWOT. Dari pengolahan data, hasilSWOT dari faktor internal dan eksternal diperoleh nilai X>0 yaitu 1,075 dan nilai Y yaitu 1,155,dimana pada nilai ini posisi matriks kuadran SWOT berada pada strategi agresif yaitu denganmenggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkanbahwa dari analisis SWOT perusahaan dapat mengembangkan usahanya karena perusahaan memilikikekuatan dan peluang

Abstract

Motorcycle Competition in the Indonesian automotive market very tight, the motorcyclemanufacturers competing issued their flagship products in order to attract the attention of the market.The point is PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra which one purchase for brand Honda motorcycle in area Mesuji.Purchase for brand Honda motorcycle is decrease of competitive with another dealer in area Mesuji.Detailed of research to do writer in PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra. The method used in this study isobservational methods and statistical data processing. Observation method is done by directobservation, research questionnaires distributed to respondents. While the statistical data processingis to process the data from the respondents' assessment based on the level of perceived and expectedto test the validity, reliability testing, simultaneous test and partial test in to SPSS 15. From theanalysis performance rating of the quality of electric service that gets the highest order of 2,742 is theproduct image, 1,992 is the company image, while the lowest level of -,577 is the user image. Theexplanation research conclusion is variable brand company and variable brand product have toinfluence positive for apart decisions variable, meanwhile variable brand user have to influencenegative for purchasing decisions. Suggestion for PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra (TDM) Mesuji is alwaysimprovement about promotion, because we doing promotion can be increase purchasing decisions bycustomers. Meanwhile for PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra (TDM) Mesuji and brand image Hondamotorcycle, more than famous by people in area Mesuji.

Abstract

Companies engaged in food and beverage processing is a company that can not beseparated from the problem of market competition. Therefore we need appropriate strategies toaddress the competition problems so that they can attract the attention of consumers, strengthen itsposition in the market, and withstand the pressures of competition. The first step in determining thecompetitive strategy is to make a list of questionnaires and distributing questionnaires to employees ofPT. Keong Nusantara Abadi followed by testing the questionnaire with validity and reliability testingand further by analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats through a SWOT analysis.The results showed that PT. Keong Nusantara Abadi has several factors that affect the strength,weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Where the company's position is in progressive positions orpositions that indicate a strong organization and opportunity. In other words the organization in goodshape so it is possible to continue to expand, enlarge growth and achieve maximum progress. Thecompany has had the right strategy but still have to fix some of the weaknesses of the company and toavoid or defend against the threat of companies that have better service with by developing theexisting strategy

Abstract

Abstrak. Kinerja perusahaan merupakan gambaran tentang kondisi keuangan suatu perusahaan. Analisis rasio keuangan adalah angka yang diperoleh dari hasil perbandingan dari satu pos laporan keuangan dengan pos lainnya yang mempunyai hubungan yang relevan dan signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profitabilitas perusahaan rokok yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Variabel yang digunakan untuk mengukur profitabilitas perusahaan terdiri atas empat rasio profitabilitas, yaitu Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), dan Earnings per Share (EPS). Sampel data studi ini terdiri atas 3 perusahaan rokok yaitu PT. Gudang Garam Tbk., PT. Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk., dan PT Bentoel International Investama Tbk. periode 2010-2014. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data sekunder, yaitu data kuantitatif berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan rokok dad tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2014 yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. memiliki kinerja keuangan yang kurang baik, dimana nilai rata-rata GPM = 21,6%, NPM = 9,4% , ROA = 11%, ROE = 17,2% dan EPS = 2367. PT. Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk. memiliki kinerja keuangan yang cukup baik, dimana nilai rata-rata GPM = 27,6%, NPM = 14,4%, ROA = 37,2%, ROE = 73,6% dan EPS = 2058 dan PT Bentoel International Investama Tbk. memiliki kinerja keuangan yang buruk, dimana nilai rata-rata GPM = 17,6%, NPM = (-4,4%), ROA = (-5,8%), ROE = (-54,8) dan EPS = (-86,4). PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk yang kekurangan modal dan mengalami kerugian. Maka dad itu kemampuan PT. Bentoel dalam menghasilkan laba semakin menurun.
