Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Menguji keefektifan, kelayakan dan kepraktisan model yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D). Model yang dikembangkan yaitu pembelajaran pengelolaan usaha boga. Studi pendahuluan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa diperlukan tindak lanjut terhadap pembelajaran pengelolaan usaha boga untuk meningkatkan kompetensi wirausaha siswa. Model PPUB terbukti efektif dari adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 0,371% kreteria “sedangâ€. Terbukti layak dari respon guru dengan rata-rata 3,25 kriteria “sangat layakâ€. Terbukti praktis dari respon siswa dengan rata-rata 3,4 kreteria “praktisâ€. Dengan demikian model PPUB dapat meningkatkan kompetensi wirausaha siswa jasa boga. Saran agar hasil penelitian model perlu disosialisasikan kepada guru SMK Jasa Boga agar dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran pengelolaan usaha boga.This study aimed to determine: Testing the effectiveness, feasibility and practicality of the catering business management learning model which was developed. This study used Research and Development (R&D). The model that developed was the learning of catering business management. The preliminary study in this study indicated that follow-up to the learning of catering business management is required to improve the students’ entrepreneurship competence. The development stage of catering business learning model included product design from learning media development and the strategy of learning model. The PPUB model proved that it was effective from the improvement of student learning outcomes by 0,371% with “medium†criteria. The PPUB model proved that it was feasible from the teacher responses with an average grade of 3.25 with “very feasible†criteria, and the model proved that it was practical from the student responses by obtaining an average of 3.4 with “practical†criteria. Thus, the model could improve students’ entrepreneurs catering services competence. The suggestion from result of this study is model of PPUB needs to be socialized to the teachers of SMK Jasa Boga in order it can be apply in management of catering business learning

This  devotion  activity  carried  out  with  the  aim  to  help  problems  that  were  be- ing faced by small business sellerof martabak “Bangkaâ€. Activity specific target of this de- votion is to generate the external aspects of production such as: making dough mixer machine of sweet martabak that is rotated with electric motor. The methods used for the imple- mentation of this activity was done in various ways that support each other, namely: coordina- tion, machine building, training of machine operating, accompanying partners during the ac- tivities in progress and evaluating activity results. The result of this devotion activity is dough stirring machine with ¼ PK that time of the stirring becomes five times faster, stirring dough results  become  smoother,  production  increases,  as  well  as  income  and  increasing  its  profits

This activity was carried out with the aim to resolve the problems faced by the partner with businesses in the field of making traditional ice cream in Semarang. The implementation employed the following methods; with lecture / extension for the theoretical material and motivation, demonstration to deliver practical material / skills, direct practice by partners, and mentoring activities. The results of community service activities are: 1) in the aspect of production, a set of machine ice cream maker was produced, two sets of coconut grater machines, supporting equipment of ice cream production, and the arrangement of the production site, 2) In the aspect business management, the partners have been given assistance on simple accounting, promotions, and marketing of products, 3) the partner may improve the productivity and quality of products that have an impact on increasing revenues.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berupa pelatihan guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan ini adalah: (1) Melakukan upaya agar kompetensi guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan setelah mendapat pelatihan akan lebih baik dari pada sebelum mendapat pelatihan, (2) Meningkatkan kompetensi guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan setelah mendapat pelatihan.Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode Training Within Industry yang langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut: (1) persiapan, (2) peragaan, (3) peniruan, dan (4) praktik. Hasil dari pelatihan yang dilakukan sebagai berikut: (1)Hasil pelatihan guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan adalah dari sebelumnya kompetensinya rendah setelah dilakukan pelatihan kompetensinya menjadi tinggi, (2) Ada peningkatan yang cukup tinggi kompetensi guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruandi kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan sesudah mendapat pelatihan dibandingkan sebelumnya.

The target of this devotion is to make the enterprise of toast bread “Maju Terus Jaya†helps making the milling machine of toast bread dough that has quality. And for the “Ivan†toast bread enterprise is uploading the advertisement on the internet in order to be better known by the so- ciety surrounding Sampangan, Semarang and making the packaging of toast bread wrapper. Method to resolve the problem is using several ways that supporting one and the others and adapted with the steps that will be done. The steps of the method as follows: counseling, demonstrations, train- ing, making an advertisement and mentoring. The results of this activity to the enterprise of toast bread “MajuTerus Jaya†is the manufacture of a dough milling machine that produces qualified toast bread with the inside structure that more subtle, chewy, and soft. And for the enterprise of toast bread “Ivan†has been successfully created an advertisement that is uploaded on the internet and making the packaging of toast bread wrapper more attractive. The impact of the results of activity that done is the production of toast bread that is sold being able to increase so that the net profit of the enterprise of toast bread “Maju Terus Jaya†and the selling of toast bread “Ivan†increases

Science and technology activities for the people (IbM) was conducted with the aim of resolving the problems faced by tofu small industries in Bandungan, Semarang regency, Central Java. There are two IbM partners, namely Mrs. Biyati and Mrs. Widari. There are two aspects of the problems to be addressed, namely the aspects of production and management. As a team implementing these activities are lectures and students with expertise in accordance with the needs of the field. In the implementation of some of the methods that are used to support, among others, with lectures for the theoretical material and motivation, demonstration to deliver material practice / skills, practice directly by the partners, and mentoring activities. In this activity has generated output production and management aspects. Outputs aspects of production: 1) soy grinding machine with a gasoline motor power source so that the sound is smooth and does not interfere with citizens, 2) equipment using steam boiler (steam boiler) so that the kitchen space free of smoke, knows not of bitter and feel better, 3 ) Stamping tools screw system making it easy to operate / lighter. Outputs management aspects: 1) bookkeeping financial / business better, and 2) further increased marketing / marketing a wider range.

Program kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh usaha kecil pembuatan tempe “Jumari†yang mengalami permasalahan dalam produksi dimana pengelupasan kedelainya masih dilakukan secara tradisional dengan menginjak injak kedelai, sehingga proses pengerjaan lama, kualitas tempenya tidak bersih dan hasil produksi tempenya tidak maksimal. Solusi untuk membantu permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah dengan membuatkan mesin pengelupas kedelai, memberikan pelatihan penggunaan mesin, mendampingi sampai dapat meningkatkan produksi tempe dan melakukan evaluasi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari pengabdian yang berupa pemberdayaan ini adalah telah ddapatkan mesin pengelupas kedelai dan ada peningkatan produksi, dimana waktu untuk mengelupas kedelai lebih cepat dari sebelumnya, kualitas hasil tempe lebih bersih, dan adanya peningkatan laba bersih

This research was motivated by the absence of an instrument for assessing the independence of students in basic beauty subjects that were tested for validity and reliability. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and reliability of the content of the students' independence assessment instruments in basic beauty subjects at SMK that had previously been compiled. The instruments developed were observation sheets for teachers and self-assessments for students. Analysis of the content validity of the instrument used the Aiken V coefficient and the reliability of the instrument content was determined by the ICC In this validity and reliability test, it involves 3 expert judgments to assess the instrument. The three expert judgments are development and research experts, beauticians, and beauty practitioners. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the observation sheet and self-assessment are proven valid with the Aiken'V coefficient of 0.69 where the score is> 0.3 and reliable with the Alpha Reliability coefficient > 0.874 and ICC = 0.698, because rxx > 0.6 thus the character assessment instrument for vocational school students can be said to be reliable. Based on the results of this research, the instrument for assessing the independence of students in basic beauty subjects at SMK in skin and hair expertise competency is suitable for use. The benefit of this research is that it can be used as a standard guide in measuring the content of students' independence instruments in learning basic beauty in SMK.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas isi media audio visual gambar teknik yang akan digunakan untuk pembelajaran gambar teknik dan menganalisis efektifitas penerapan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar gambar teknik dengan mengambil sampel dari siswa jurusan teknik pemesinan di SMK N 1 Semarang dengan 2 kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pada hasil yang diperoleh media audio visual ini valid untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran gambar teknik karena tingkat kelayakan ahli mendapat semua sangat sesuai. Media audio visual tersebut efektif untuk meningkatkan membaca gambar teknik karena karena pada hasil uji t pada posttest mendapatkan thitung posttest sebesar 6,366 dan ttabel sebesar 1,67 maka hasil yang diperoleh thitung > ttabel. Peningkatan untuk pembelajaran menggunakan audio visual sebesar 65% dan pembelajaran dengan ceramah yang selama ini digunakan sebesar 8%. Jadi peningkatan hasil pembelajaran media audio visual lebih besar dari pada hasil pembelajaran menggunakan ceramah.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan lembar kegiatan siswa gambar proyeksi Amerika, mengetahui kepraktisan dan peningkatan hasil belajar. Model penelitian adalah Research and Development/R&D. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain uji true eksperimental jenis pretest-posttest two group control design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKRO 1 untuk kelas control dan X TKRO 4 untuk kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing-masing 33 siswa. Hasil uji coba ahli media memperoleh presentase kelayakan sebesar 85,3% sedangkan ahli materi sebesar 87%, keduanya memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Peningkatan rata-rata pretest dan posttest sebesar 65,21 untuk kelas control dan 78,82 untuk kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,235 untuk pretest yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan, sedangkan hasil analisis uji-t untuk posttest diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara yang menggunakan lembar kegiatan siswa dengan pembelajaran biasa. Hasil perhitungan uji kepraktisan memperoleh rata-rata hasil uji sebesar 4,12 maka lembar kegiatan siswa dikategorikan sangat praktis digunakan.
