The third stage is the evaluation and reporting stage. The evaluation was carried out by comparing the conditions of partners before and after the program's implementation with interview and observation methods. After that, a report was prepared for further publication. The material presented in the socialization was in the form of the Legality of BUMDes, as well as the benefits and goals of BUMDes towards increasing development and prosperity for all communities in the village. Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the influence of climate change on the viability of the fishing industry across Asia, Oceania, Africa, and the Americas, with particular attention to Indonesia’s fisheries sector. Study Design/Methodology/Approach: The research applies Wavelet Fisher-Z Meta Analysis to 25 peer-reviewed studies published between 2016 and 2024. This method enables the identification of temporal patterns and regional variations in climate impacts on fisheries by stabilising effect size estimates across different environmental and institutional contexts. Findings: The analysis reveals significant impacts of climate change on fisheries in countries including the United States, Colombia, and Vietnam, while moderate effects are observed in Indonesia. The study confirms that elevated sea surface temperatures, erratic weather patterns, and sea-level rise reduce fisheries’ productivity and threaten economic sustainability, particularly in small-scale fishing communities. Originality/Value: This study highlights the urgency of strengthening policy integration, stakeholder coordination, and adaptive capacity in the fisheries sector. It recommends enhancing sustainable fishing practices, establishing marine conservation areas, and investing in infrastructure resilience to withstand climate variability. These findings contribute to ongoing efforts to align national strategies with the Sustainable Development Goals in securing food systems and economic stability.

Abstract

Early knowledge about the quality of human resources in North Sumatra Province is essential to enhance the effectiveness of human resource development plans, thereby contributing to equitable improvements in community welfare. This study employs an indicator-based approach to analyze human resource quality across all regencies and cities in North Sumatra Province. These indicators represent four fundamental aspects of strengthening human capital: education, health, housing environment, and employment. The study utilizes secondary data obtained from official publications of relevant institutions. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) is employed to identify the key factors determining human resource quality in North Sumatra Province. The results of the EFA are then used Cluster Analysis to group regencies/cities based on similarities in human resource quality characteristics. The findings reveal two primary factors influencing human resource quality in North Sumatra Province: (1) socio-economic resilience and (2) socio-economic participation. The regencies and cities can be categorized into five distinct clusters based on these determining factors.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between customer complaint management and its impact on customer satisfaction and subsequent purchasing behavior in Denmark. We developed a refined complaint handling model, emphasizing fairness across three key dimensions: distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice. These dimensions are hypothesized to significantly influence customer satisfaction, which, in turn, affects purchasing intentions. Using online surveys, we assessed customer perceptions of complaint handling, focusing on these critical dimensions. Data collected from 250 Danish consumers, each having filed at least one complaint, were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The analysis revealed a significant link between effective complaint management and enhanced customer satisfaction, which notably influences purchasing intentions. Initially, our model did not demonstrate a direct impact on purchasing behaviors, leading to its refinement. The revised model indicates that customer satisfaction with the resolution process predominantly dictates future purchasing decisions, while dissatisfaction with the complaint handling does not directly affect future purchases. This research is distinguished by its innovative complaint handling model and the application of PLS methodology, providing deeper insights into the dynamic interactions between studied variables. The focused and highly relevant sample underscores the study's significance, particularly in the e-commerce sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate how climate change is influencing the risks within the tuna fishing sector in Indonesia. Changes in the environment, like increasing sea temperatures and shifting ocean currents, have impacted the movement and migration patterns of tuna, directly impacting the industry sustainability. The significance of this study lies in the pressing necessity to comprehend the ways in which climate change is impacting the risks encountered by businesses operating in the tuna fishing industry. This research aims to assess the risks that tuna fishing businesses encounter as a result of climate change and to determine how they affect the company's stock value. To conduct this research, a panel data evaluation approach was employed using seven publicly traded companies engaged in the tuna industry as sample subjects. The data used was sourced from company filings with the Indonesia Stock Exchange and capital market figures from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The research utilizes an Altman Z Score model to evaluate the financial health and risk of bankruptcy of a company by incorporating dummy variables associated with increasing sea temperatures into its analysis. This study aims to offer policymakers evidence-based guidance regarding the consequences of different management strategies for addressing climate fluctuations. Furthermore, the research underscores the significance of taking factors into account when managing financial risks, especially in ensuring the long-term viability of the tuna fishing sector. The uniqueness of this study is found in its approach of merging financial risk analysis with risk assessment methods by utilizing a model that integrates both biological and economic elements to offer a holistic framework for decision-making within the sustainable fisheries sector.
