Abstract

 Autism was the interference which influence in their daily life. The austims sufferance in Indonesia has increase every  single years. A mother has an important role in the growth of the children. This research has a purpose to know the  identification the level of mother knowledge about casein free and gluten free diet to the autism child with quantitative  research with descriptive research design. The sample of research 58 people respondent which get by the inclusion  criteria from some school on SLB Pekanbaru City with using consecutive sampling technique. The measuring technique  is using multiple choice questions to know the mother knowledge about casein free and gluten free diet. The data  analysis which using descriptive. The result of this research shows that from 58 respondent, there are 28 respondent  (48,3%) have a good knowledge which 30 respondent (51,7%) have a less knowledge. This research is recommended to  the mother to be increase  their knowledge about casein free and gluten free diet with the right way to the children.Keywords: Autism, casein free, gluten free, knowledge, mother

Abstract

Stress is a physical and psychic reaction in the form of uncomfortablefeeling, or depressed to a pressure or demandsbeing faced. One of the demands faced by final-year students is the process of 'research writing. It results in manystudents experience stress while compiling the research. This study aimed to determine the factors that affect the stressof nursing program transfer students who are preparing the research. This research used descriptive correlationaldesign with cross-sectional approach. The sample was 73 respondents taken by total sampling technique. The resultsshowed that 4.1% of respondents experienced mild stress, 91.8% of respondents experienced moderate stress and 4.1%of respondents experienced severe stress. The result of the research also pointed that there was an influence ofbehaviortowards students’ stress (p-value = 0,028), there was a cognitive influence to student stress (p-value = 0,049),there wasan emotional influence to students’ stress(p-value = 0,038), there was an influence of physical environmentto students’ stress(p-value = 0,026) whereas physical condition did not affect the students’ stress (p-value = 0,158)and socio-cultural environment also did not affect thestudents’ stress(p-value 0.794). It is expected that students who are in writing a research to prepare themselves physically and psychologically to face research so that it can prevent or minimize the stress due tothe research.Keywords: factors, nursing, research, stres, student

Abstract

ABSTRACTOsteoartritis is a type of arthritis that most often encountered with relatively high prevalence and is a major cause of disability associated with the disease in individuals. This study was to describe of incident osteoartritis genue in poli orthophedic Dumai City Hospital. Design of the study was descriptive study, with random sampling tecknique. Sample of this study was 72 respondens in taken respondent with inclusion criteria. The univariate analysis was conducted to know frequency distribution. The result showed most of responden 37,5% (27 respodent) was in obesity 1 categori, and frequency of pain was in mild pain 45,8% (33 respondent). Level of osteoartritis most of respondent was in form small spur category 40,3% (29 respondent). This result of this research was recommended to the health workers, specially to the nurse to increase role into give the care osteoartritis genu patient. Keywords: Descriptive, osteoarthritis genu

Abstract

Abstract Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is the most frequent illness in children, so we need maximum effort to minimize, one of them likes self medication and self care intervention by family. The purpose of this research is to identify self medication and self care by family with child acute respiratory infection (ARI) at Public Health Center of Harapan Raya in the year of 2017. The research design is descriptive study by using consecutive sampling technique. Samples of this research were 142 families. The research instrument was a questionnaire with sub variables self medication and self care that has been tested good validity ang reliability. This research used univariate analysis to know the distribution of frequencies self medication and self care. The result of this research showed from 142 families majority has self medication and self care that less adequate as many as 138 families (97,2%) 129 familis (90,8%). The result of this research showed that adequate self medication the most from 10 questions about medication of reducing temperature that was given when child was fever, and the medication was paracetamol and ibuprofen that was 135 families (95,1%). The result about self care that was adequate the most of 6 questions was about given orange fruit when child was sick as many as 116 families (81,7%). The conclusion from this research, the adequate effort may be that was many communication, information and education from health workers. This research recommended that family has active participation for do the self medication and self care until we can reached the traditional and complementary program. Keywords: Child acute respiratory infection (ARI), families, self medication and self care

Abstract

The system of family care gives big influences to misuse drugs in teens. The aim of this research is to know the system of family care in misusing of drugs connected among teens in SMK Kansai Pekanbaru by correlation descriptive research and cross sectional appoach. The sample of the research is based on the inclution of criteria by using stratified random sampling technique to 81 boys. The means of measure is questionary, univariate analysize is used to know distribution frequency and bivariat the chi-square test. The result of the research is to knows the majority of teens in 15-17 age range about 61 teens (75,3%), the most of them got demokratic family care system about 32 teens (39,5%). The result of statistic test used chi-square test is found the significant relationship between the system family care and the risk of drugs for teens with the score p = 0,004.Keywords: caring, drugs, family, teens

Abstract

AbstractAIDS have symptoms caused by the HIV virus. It is contagious. The viruses damage the immune system. HIV will develope to AIDS stage for approximately 7-10 years after HIV transmission,the aim of this study todescribe knowledge of people living with HIV in Puskesmas Dumai City. The study design is simple descriptive with 34 respondents taken bypurposife sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire“knowledge of HIV transmission". The results of this study are a good knowledge (47,1%) insufficient knowledge (41,2%) and lack of knowledge (11,8%). It is expected that health centers provide more information about HIV prevention in order to reduce HIV transmission to others and could develop this research further. Keywords                  : HIV, HIV tranmission, knowledge

Abstract

One of the efforts to improve the health status of the community and the success of social health insurance program is the participation in BPJS’ Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) which focusing on promotive and preventive health service. This study aimed to identify the description of BPJS ‘Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) implementation in Siak Hulu III Community Health Center. The design of this study was descriptive. The samples were 30 respondents that were taken by saturated sampling technique. The measuring instrument was a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data was analyzed by univariate analysis to identify the frequency distribution. The results of the study showed that the description of prolanis implementation who all of respondents chose the yes answer about 30 respondents (100,0%) for medical consultation program at the first question about the chance for consultation, the second question about disease explanation, and the third question about the health workers who listen the disease complain, while for home visit activities program at the first question about giving the self healthy education and the second question about the environment health education, and for club activities program at the first question about giving of club activities facility, and for monitoring health status activities program at the first question about giving a chance to re-control and the second questions about giving a chance to observation of disease. Abstract

Abstract Medical personnel must achieve the target of MDG's 2015 to improve the health of infants and toddlers. One effort of improving the health of infants and toddlers is to increase mothers' knowledge with health promotion that depend on media. The purpose of this study was to known comparison of the effectiveness of health promotion with audio visual media (video) and leaflet for the level of mothers' knowledge about the management of fever in infants and toddlers. This study was quasy experiment with pretest and posttest design with two comparison treatments that obtained before and after being given health promotion with audio-visual media (video) and leaflet in the Working Area of Puskesmas Simpang Tiga Pekanbaru. The sample were 30 people who are taken by purposive sampling techniques. The instruments were questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis can be used univariate and bivariate analysis using a paired t-test and unpaired t test. The results showed an increase significantly the level of mothers' knowledge about the management of fever in infants and toddlers in the experimental group with the audio-visual media (video) after given health promotion on the management of fever in infants and toddlers with p value ( 0.000) <α (0.05). It means that health promotion effective to improve the mother's knowledge about management of fever in infants and toddlers with audio-visual media, so the knowledge increase. Abstract

Nursing transfer is one of the competencies that nursing students must master. This competence can be achieved through a learning process with various media. The use of audio-visual media can make the delivery of information more real than module media. This study aims to determine the difference in the effectiveness of audio-visual media and modules on increasing the knowledge and skills of undergraduate nursing students in carrying out bed transfer. This study used a quantitative method with a quasy experimental design with pretest and posttest design with two comparison treatments. The research sample was 68 respondents who were taken simple randomly by drawing the respondent's name. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the T test. Results: There was an increase in the average knowledge of students after being given audio-visual learning of 7.73 and p value 0.000 (p <0.05) and in the module group of 6, 38 and p value 0.002 (p <0.05). There was an increase in the average score of knowledge which was higher in the audio visual group than in the module by 1.706 and a p value of 0.501. Meanwhile, for skills there was an increase in the average skills of students after being given learning through audio-visual of 10.29 and p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and in the module group of 8.59 and p value of 0.000 (p <0.05). ). There was an increase in the average score of skills that was higher in the audio visual group than in the module of 1.853 and a p value of 0.021. Audio-visual media has a higher influence on students' knowledge and skills in carrying out bed transfer. Keywords: audio visual, module, bed transfer, instructional media

Abstract

Air susu ibu (ASI) eksklusif semestinya diberikan sesaat bayi lahir hingga usia 6 bulan karena ASI eksklusif sangat baik bagi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan bayi. Fenomena saat ini masih rendahnya cakupan ASI eksklusif, khususnya di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sidomulyo Kecamatan Tampan yaitu hanya 31%. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor–faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi cakupan ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sidomulyo Kecamatan Tampan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan retrospektif dengan teknik cluster sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sidomulyo Kecamatan Tampan dengan populasi 469 orang dan sampel 136 orang. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square dan fisher. Hasil analisa univariat diperoleh mayoritas ibu berusia 26-35 tahun (55.1%), berpendidikan SMA/SLTA (52.9%), bersuku melayu (46.3%), IRT/tidak bekerja (65.4%), sumber dukungan berasal dari suami (68.4%) dan ibu yang sehat (91.2%). Ibu yang memiliki sosial budaya yang mendukung pemberian ASI eksklusif (75%), tingkat pengetahuan ibu yang baik mengenai ASI eksklusif (90.4%), keluarga yang mendukung pemberian ASI eksklusif (69.9%), serta ibu yang tidak ASI eksklusif (62,5%). Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukkan variabel yang berhubungan terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif yaitu usia dengan Pvalue = 0.014, sosial budaya dengan Pvalue = 0.011 dan kesehatan ibu dengan Pvalue = 0.031 serta variabel yang tidak berhubungan terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif yaitu pendidikan dengan Pvalue = 0.549, tingkat pengetahuan dengan Pvalue = 0.766, pekerjaan dengan Pvalue = 0.745 dan dukungan keluarga dengan Pvalue = 0.267. Diharapkan pemberian ASI eksklusif ini dapat meningkat pada ibu yang sehat berusia 26-35 tahun yang memiliki sosial budaya yang mendukung.
