Abstract

This study examines the effects of workload and work-life balance on Generation Z's decision to leave Surakarta, with job satisfaction as a mediating factor. The approach adopted in this research is a causal association design using a quantitative method. The information used in the study came from a survey conducted among Generation Z employees in the region surrounding Surakarta, using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The study's conclusions demonstrated that workload positively affects turnover intention, that work-life balance positively affects job satisfaction, that workload negatively affects job satisfaction, and that work-life balance has no direct impact on turnover intention. Additionally, it was established that turnover intention is negatively impacted by work satisfaction. Regarding the test of the mediating variable, it was confirmed that job satisfaction mediates the impact of work-life balance on turnover intention, but not the impact of workload. The research's conclusions indicate that work-life balance and workload are very important, as appropriate work-life balance can improve job satisfaction and decrease turnover intention amongst Generation Z workers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk analisis pengaruh kompensasi, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja pada kinerja pegawai PDAM Tirto Negoro Sragen. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai permasalahan kinerja seperti keluhan pelanggan, pelayanan yang lambat, dan kurangnya komunikasi di tempat kerja. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah kuantitatif dan mengikuti pendekatan eksplanatori. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 150 pegawai PDAM yang dipilih melalui sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan metode least squares (PLS) dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas kompensasi, yaitu: motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja, memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kompensasi yang memadai memberikan rasa dihargai kepada karyawan sehingga mendorong mereka bekerja lebih optimal. Motivasi kerja, baik secara intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, terbukti meningkatkan semangat dan produktivitas. Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif juga membantu menciptakan kenyamanan dalam bekerja, sehingga mendukung pencapaian target organisasi. Dengan hasil ini, manajemen PDAM Tirto Negoro Sragen diharapkan dapat meningkatkan strategi kompensasi, menciptakan motivasi kerja yang berkelanjutan, serta memperbaiki lingkungan kerja untuk mendorong kinerja yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, which affects almost every aspect of life, has also transformed the consumption behavior of the millennial generation toward digital domains. This study aims to analyze trends and changes in millennial consumer behavior in the digital era as an impact of online learning. Using bibliometric methods and VOSviewer visualization, data were collected from international publications (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar) during the 2020-2025 period. The findings show that online learning has accelerated the adoption of digital consumption behaviors among millennials, with key terms such as consumer behavior, machine learning, e-commerce, and millennial forming interconnected clusters. The study also identifies a research gap related to loyalty and postpurchase behavior among millennials in the digital ecosystem. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for strengthening educational policy, digital economy development, and digital literacy to support the national agenda for superior human resource development and digital transformation in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Internship Experience, Soft Skills, and Hard Skills on Job Readiness (a study on students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta). A quantitative approach was employed to examine the student population at the university, involving 150 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results reveal that internship experience, soft skills, and hard skills positively and significantly influence students' job readiness. The research model demonstrated a good Goodness of Fit, with path coefficients indicating a significant contribution of each independent variable to job readiness. These findings underscore the critical importance of developing soft and hard skills during university years to better prepare students for the workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of Academic Achievement, Work Motivation, and Self-Efficacy on the Job Readiness of final-year students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The research subjects include all final-year students in the faculty, with a total of 120 respondents obtained through an online survey using Google Forms. The sampling technique adopts a non-probability sampling approach with the purposive sampling method. In data analysis, tests for validity, internal consistency (reliability), and detection of inter-variable relationships (multicollinearity) were conducted using Smart PLS analysis in the Outer Model. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing was carried out through the Inner Model using the same tool. The findings of this study indicate that Academic Achievement, Work Motivation, and Self-Efficacy have a positive and significant impact on students' Job Readiness.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan yakni faktor determinan keberhasilan organisasi yang berakar pada kualitas input individu serta tingkat profesionalisme kerja yang konsisten. Studi dimaksudkan guna menelaah keterkaitan lingkungan kerja, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Yafindo Marico Indonesia, ditinjau secara parsial maupun simultan. Studi memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel studi sejumlah 100 karyawan yang difilter melalui purposive sampling. Data dihimpun melalui pendistribusian kuesioner dengan skala Likert kemudian dianalisis memanfaatkan SPSS versi 21. Teknik analisis yang diaplikasikan mencakup uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Temuan menginformasikan lingkungan kerja, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja secara parsial berkontribusi positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, temuan secara simultan membuktikan bahwasanya ketiga variabel tersebut secara simultan berkontribusi positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Yafindo Marico Indonesia. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, implementasi kedisiplinan yang berkesinambungan serta penguatan motivasi sebagai elemen krusial dalam mengakselerasi performa pegawai. Studi mengarah pada penguatan literatur empiris sekaligus menyediakan kerangka kerja bagi manajemen dalam menyempurnakan strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kegiatan organisasi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja dan employability mahasiswa semester akhir di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian evaluatif dan bersifat explanatory. Variabel penelitian meliputi efektivitas organisasi mahasiswa sebagai variabel independen, soft skills sebagai variabel mediasi, serta kesiapan kerja dan employability sebagai variabel dependen. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup berskala Likert 1–5 yang disebarkan secara daring kepada mahasiswa semester akhir yang aktif berorganisasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 240 mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) melalui pengujian outer model dan inner model serta bootstrapping untuk menguji hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas organisasi mahasiswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap soft skills, kesiapan kerja, dan employability. Selain itu, soft skills terbukti memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh efektivitas organisasi mahasiswa terhadap kesiapan kerja dan employability. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran organisasi mahasiswa dalam pengembangan kompetensi non-akademik dan peningkatan daya saing lulusan di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Employee Engagement, Psychological Capital,Organizational Citizenship Behavior, dan Religiusitas Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di UniversitasMuhammadiyah Surakarta. Analisis dilakukan secara kuantitatif, dengan cakupan populasi yangmeliputi pegawai di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Tercatat sebanyak 204 orang berpartisipasisebagai sampel. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakanteknik PLS-SEM dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EmployeeEngagement, Psychological Capital, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, dan Religiusitas memilikipengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai, besarnya pengaruh variabel EmployeeEngagement, Psychological Capital, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, dan Religiusitas TerhadapKinerja Pegawai yaitu dengan nilai 0,566 atau 56,6%.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has encouraged the increasing use of buy now pay later (paylater) services on e-commerce platforms, particularly among university students as digital natives. Easy access, payment flexibility, and fast transaction processes have made paylater services increasingly popular. However, the use of these services also creates financial risks, such as consumptive behavior and potential payment defaults. This study aims to analyze the effects of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, and perceived risk on the behavioral intention to use paylater services among students in OKU Timur. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method through online questionnaire distribution to students who use paylater services. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit positively affect behavioral intention, while perceived risk has a negative effect. The most dominant variable influencing behavioral intention is performance expectancy. This study concludes that perceived usefulness is the main factor encouraging students to use paylater services, whereas perceived risk tends to reduce their intention to use such services.

Abstract

Penelitian diarahkan guna menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan Super Indo di Solo Raya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di sektor ritel modern yang memiliki dinamika kerja tinggi serta tuntutan pelayanan yang cepat dan optimal. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana kuesioner disebarkan kepada 154 karyawan Super Indo Solo Raya selaku responden. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam studi ini menerapkan purposive sampling dan accidental sampling. Guna menguji hipotesis, analisis data dilakukan dengan metode SEM-PLS memanfaatkan program SmartPLS. Temuan menginformasikan beban kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Temuan membuktikan kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan serta memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kombinasi antara alokasi tanggung jawab yang objektif dan kenyamanan lingkungan tempat kerja terbukti secara signifikan bertindak sebagai stimulus utama dalam memperkuat kepuasan serta capaian kinerja pegawai. Atas dasar tersebut, organisasi dituntut untuk mengevaluasi sekaligus membenahi situasi kerja karyawan secara komprehensif demi menstimulasi produktivitas kerja yang optimal.
