Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop and implement Assemblr Edu-based learning media to increase the learning interest of fourth-grade students at SDIT Nur Hasan. Methodology: The research uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation and interviews conducted at SDIT Nur Hasan. The focus is on analyzing the impact of Assemblr Edu media on student engagement and interest. Results: The implementation of Assemblr Edu learning media proved effective in enhancing students' learning interest. Data analysis indicated an average increase of 81% in students' enthusiasm and participation after using the media. The media was deemed highly feasible and suitable for classroom application. Applications/Originality/Value: This research highlights the potential of augmented reality-based platforms like Assemblr Edu as an innovative and engaging tool to foster learning interest in elementary education. Its success at SDIT NUR HASAN during the 2023/2024 academic year demonstrates its relevance for broader application in similar educational settings.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis Community Service Program (PKM) aims to increase awareness of child-friendly collaborative learning management with programs that refer to strengthening competencies and social emotions that are appropriate to children's developmental needs. The methods used in the community service program include 2 activities, namely guidance activities and mentoring activities. The mentoring activity provides 2 stages of activities, stage I training to improve teacher competency in the social emotional field, stage II training to increase awareness of learning management, while the mentoring activity includes teacher learning clinics and real action activities in the classroom.The results of the community service program in mentoring activities stated that social emotional had a significant impact on the child-friendly learning process, while mentoring activities showed that 71% of teachers were interested in the teacher learning clinic program and 21% of teachers were committed to empowering learning management by compiling teaching modules so that they had an impact on collaborative learning. This means that the activities carried out in the community service program have an impact on cultivating teachers in collaborative, child-friendly learning at Surakarta Elementary Schools.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes and interest of fifth grade students at SDN Sondakan in light material, through the application of the Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 27 fifth grade students at Sondakan Elementary School. Data collection is carried out through observation, tests and documentation. The research results show that the application of the VAK model can improve student learning outcomes significantly. In the pre-cycle, only 35% of students achieved the Learning Goal Achievement Criteria (KKTP). After implementing the VAK model, the percentage of completion increased to 73% in cycle I and reached 92% in cycle II. Apart from that, students' interest in learning has also increased, which can be seen from four indicators. The overall average student interest in learning increased from the fairly high category in cycle I to high in cycle II. Thus, the application of the VAK learning model has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and interest.

Abstract

In the modern digital era, various distractions that disrupt students’ focus during learning pose a significant challenge. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing scheduled brain breaks in improving the concentration and academic performance of third-grade students in Natural and Social Science subjects at SD N Sondakan 11. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cyrcles, each consisting of phases of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects included 25 students. Data were collected through observations, tests, and questionnaires to measure students’ focus duration from an average of 5-10 minutes to 15-20 minutes and improved the average academic performance scores from 50 to 73.60. this research provides evidence that physical interventions such as brain breaks can positively contribute to enhancing students’ concentration and learning outcomes while recommending educators integrate this technique into daily teaching practices. Therefore, this study is expected to significantly contribute to the development of more effective teaching methodes athe elementary school level.

Abstract

Child-friendly mathematics learning is urgent in strengthening collaborative skills. A child-friendly approach encourages students to engage in deep conceptual communication. Collaboration has become increasingly important due to rapid global changes. This study aims to: 1) describe the culture of students learning with mathematics teachers, 2) describe the culture of students learning with peers in mathematics, and 3) explore the culture of students' independent learning in mathematics. This is a qualitative-ethnographic study conducted at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Surakarta City, Central Java, from March to June 2025. The research data include both primary and secondary sources. Research subjects consist of the principal, teachers, and fifth-grade students at the research site. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and document analysis. The researcher served as the key instrument. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. Data were analyzed inductively. The findings reveal: 1) the implementation of child-friendly strategies by mathematics teachers has transformed the student learning culture with teachers to become more active, reflective, and collaborative, thereby strengthening collaboration; 2) an enjoyable learning culture was developed through child-friendly approaches to support collaboration enhancement. The success of collaboration heavily depends on the teacher as facilitator, the provision of challenging tasks, and process-based assessment; and 3) child-friendly mathematics learning promotes a culture of independent learning and supports collaboration. The role of teachers and professional support are critical to sustaining the transformation of the collaborative learning culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar dalam mempelajari geometri spasial melalui penggunaan alat evaluasi berbasis teknologi, GEOFUN. Dengan pendekatan berbasis permainan interaktif, GEOFUN dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep geometri, seperti mengenali ciri-ciri bangun ruang, menghitung volume, dan memahami hubungan spasial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta analisis dokumen hasil asesmen peserta didik kelas VI SDIT Al Kiram. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Triangulasi metode digunakan untuk memastikan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GEOFUN tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual peserta didik tetapi juga membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan interaktif. Meskipun terdapat kendala terkait fasilitas teknologi dan adaptasi guru terhadap metode baru, GEOFUN terbukti efektif dalam mengatasi kebosanan peserta didik dan mendorong mereka untuk berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Adanya permasalahan pembelajaran IPAS yang menimbulkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan hasil belajarnya menurunyang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar IPAS melalui model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada peserta didik kelas V di SDN Pajang 01 Surakarta yang berjumlah 27 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil pra siklus menunjukkan rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar 47,42% dan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebesar 65,22% sedangkan pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar 61,38% dan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar IPAS sebesar 74,96%. Kemudian pada siklus II menunjukkan rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar siswa sebesar 78,64% dan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebesar 91.48%. sehingga simpulan penelitian ini yaitu melalui model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of desmos media in elementary mathematics learning and to analyze its role in fostering students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at SDN 01 Jatikuwung through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured using source and method triangulation, while data were analyzed inductively through organizing, interpreting, and concluding processes. The findings show that the school supports the integration of digital media, and desmos math provides a positive impact on students’ learning. Students’ critical thinking skills increased significantly from an average of 29% before using Desmos to 85% after its implementation. The interactive visualizations helped students understand coordinate concepts, analyze information, and solve problems more systematically. Thus, Desmos Math is effective in enhancing conceptual understanding and strengthening students’ critical thinking abilities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran joyful learning dengan game edukatif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa pada materi pecahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental dengan desain nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh siswa kelas V di salah satu SD Negeri Surakarta, dengan sampel yang diambil menggunakan simple random sampling. Sebanyak 24 siswa termasuk dalam kelompok eksperimen dan 24 siswa lainnya termasuk dalam kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-Test dan n-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok dan nilai n-Gain kelompok eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Disimpulkan bahwa joyful learning berbasis game edukatif berpengaruh positif dan efektif. Temuan ini menyajikan strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika dasar yang inklusif dan menyenangkan sesuai dengan salah satu tujuan dari Sustainable Development Goals pada poin pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tidak hanya menguraikan cara penggunaan alat GeoGebra dalam pengajaran matematika di tingkat pendidikan dasar, tetapi juga mengeksplorasi potensi alat ini untuk merangsang kreativitas siswa. Dalam studi ini, metode kualitatif serta pendekatan deskriptif diterapkan. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah PK Muhammadiyah Kertonatan, yang berada di wilayah Jawa Tengah. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari sumber literatur. Untuk menjamin keandalan data, pendekatan triangulasi yang mencakup berbagai sumber dan metode digunakan. Prosedur analisis dilakukan secara induktif dan meliputi pengumpulan, pengorganisasian, penyederhanaan, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan dari data. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa GeoGebra meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri, minat belajar siswa, serta kreativitas dalam matematika melalui visualisasi tiga dimensi, penjelajahan interaktif, dan pembentukan tahap kreativitas dari benda yang sederhana hingga yang dinamis, yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan penyelesaian masalah yang bersifat kontekstual.
