Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of cooperation development between the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business and partners from various institutions both domestically and abroad in order to achieve a Faculty with a global reputation. The research method used is a qualitative method where data collection is carried out by conducting in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and Focus Group discussions. The results of this research show that the development of partnership cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia with domestic and foreign partners includes education, research and community service. Educational activities in the form of lecturer and student exchanges, seminars, proceedings, guest lectures, visiting lecturers/professors, curriculum benchmarking. Collaboration in the field of research takes the form of joint research, joint publication, joint editor and journal reviewer. Collaboration in the field of community service takes the form of outreach activities, training, mentoring and demonstration activities related to partner needs. So far this collaboration has shown a significant positive impact. The results of the research findings can add theoretical and methodological studies to the repertoire of scientific development regarding the study of the importance of collaboration in an organization, especially for higher education institutions. The contribution of this research adds to the study of the importance of cooperation, not only for the benefit of both parties but also for having an impact on the progress of institutions and society. Contribution for educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, to continue to build partnerships and to socialize the importance of cooperation to increase institutional progress, building more networks to strengthen cooperation. The practical implication of this research is that the Faculty of Economics and Business continues to strive for collaborative networks with the aim of increasing and strengthening collaboration networks in accordance with the vision and mission of the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business. Priority programs in the context of achieving a global reputation can be used as main topics for collaboration with partners. This implication also adds to the study for educational and non-educational institutions that by collaborating, relationships are created to share knowledge, experience and resources to achieve common goals and contribute to the development of society and the nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect locus of control and the campus environment towards personal financial management which is mediated by the learning outcomes of Intermediate Financial Accounting 1. This type of research is quantitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The population of this study were students of the Accounting Education Study Program class 2020 – 2022 who had taken the Intermediate 1 Financial Accounting course and the sampling technique used simple random sampling. The data analysis technique uses SPSS version 29 analysis. The results of the research are 1) there is a positive and significant influence locus of control and AKM 1 learning outcomes towards personal financial management, 2) there is no influence between the campus environment and personal financial management, 3) there is a positive and significant influence locus of control and the campus environment on AKM 1, 4) learning outcomes simultaneously locus of control, campus environment, and AKM 1 learning outcomes influence personal financial management, 5) AKM 1 learning outcomes are able to mediate locus of control and the campus environment towards personal financial management.

Abstract

In the digital technology era, schools are expected to be able to implement teaching materials through technology-based media to deliver learning content effectively. Therefore, the PKM team aims to assist teachers at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) in developing technology-based teaching materials. The results of the training and mentoring sessions show that teachers are highly interested in the training on digital-based teaching materials. The teachers stated that the material presented during the training was clearly explained and easy to understand, particularly in the context of implementing online learning. The time required for the training activities was very efficient and effective, and the teachers found it to be much-needed. A total of 100% of the teachers agreed to use digital teaching materials after receiving the training. The conclusion of this community service is that the assistance provided aligns with the teachers' needs, as technology-based teaching materials are well-suited for both online and offline learning, enabling students to learn anytime and anywhere. The teachers' response to the teaching materials training was very positive. This program has had a significant impact on enhancing the teachers' understanding of developing digital teaching materials, which can contribute to improving the quality of education at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to overcome the spread of Covid-19 within the Faculty of Economics, State University of Surabaya through education for education staff to always apply health protocols through the 5M and MIO movements and increase immunity through consumption of nutritious food during WFO (Work From Office) so that it is expected to be able to increase immunity and will not be easily infected with Covid-19. The results of this PKM activity can be seen from the emergence of habits in implementing the 5M and MIO movements and always consuming multivitamins and intake of nutritious food to increase immunity so that currently there are no records of positive cases of COVID-19 patients among Faculty of Economics Unesa education staff.

Abstract

Technological developments in digital financial services have simplified the way students carry out transactions and access various financial platforms. Nevertheless, this convenience does not automatically lead to build of stronger financial management abilities among students. This study examines the involvement of family financial education and fintech usage on students’ financial management, with financial self-efficacy as a mediating variable. A quantitative design was employed with 177 students from study programs of Accounting and Accounting Education at the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Surabaya as respondents. The data collection process utilized a Likert-scale questionnaire, followed by analysis with SEM-PLS 4.0 to assess relationships among variables. The results show that both financial self-efficacies along with students’ financial management are significant positive influenced by family financial education. Fintech usage also positively influences financial management, although it does not significantly influence financial self-efficacy. Furthermore, a significance for enhancing students' financial management is attributed to financial self-efficacy, it also acts as a mediator in the relationship between family financial education and financial management. However, its does not mediate the relationship between fintech usage and financial management.

Abstract

Pembelajaran akuntansi masih menghadapi kendala akibat kompleksitas materi dan terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif, khususnya pada materi jurnal penyesuaian perusahaan dagang. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan, motivasi dan pemahaman peserta didik, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan media yang inovatif, lebih menarik dan adaptif dengan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan respon peserta didik terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan Adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian Adalah 36 peserta didik kelas XI Akuntansi di SMK Negeri 2 Buduran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, telaah, validasi ahli, dan penyebaran angket kepada peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar wawancara, lembar telaah ahli, lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa, serta lembar angket respon peserta didik, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sangat tinggi dengan persentase validasi ahli materi sebesar 88%, ahli media 96%, dan ahli bahasa 95%. Respon peserta didik juga menunjukkan kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 95%. Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially dinyatakan layak, efektif, dan relevan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, serta pemahaman peserta didik pada materi jurnal penyesuaian perusahaan dagang.

Abstract

Pembelajaran pada materi persediaan masih memanfaatkan media yang terbatas, seperti PowerPoint, file PDF, dan papan tulis, sehingga pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran belum optimal dan peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan memahami materi. Selain itu, pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Software Articulate Storyline 3 yang secara khusus dirancang untuk materi persediaan masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Software Articulate Storyline 3 serta mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan produk, dan respons peserta didik terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar telaah ahli, lembar validasi ahli, dan angket respons peserta didik. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 20 peserta didik kelas XI Akuntansi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Software Articulate Storyline 3 pada materi persediaan dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 95%, ahli media sebesar 99%, dan ahli bahasa sebesar 97%, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 96% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat layak. Selain itu, respons peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 99% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Software Articulate Storyline 3 yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak dan memperoleh respons sangat baik karena mampu meningkatkan daya tarik pembelajaran, membantu peserta didik memahami materi, serta mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menjawab tantangan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, khususnya dalam penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video interaktif berbasis Google Sites yang mendukung pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi Akuntansi Perusahaan Dagang kelas XI Akuntansi di SMKN 10 Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, serta tes pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sangat tinggi, yaitu 96% dari ahli materi, 88% dari ahli media, dan 96% dari ahli bahasa. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada 30 siswa kelas XI Akuntansi dan menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 53,3% menjadi 83% dengan N-Gain 0,63. Respon peserta didik juga sangat positif dengan persentase kepraktisan sebesar 93%. Kesimpulannya, video interaktif berbasis Google Sites sangat layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam materi Akuntansi Perusahaan Dagang di SMK

Abstract

This community service program was motivated by the low skills and income levels of housewives in Magetan Regency, despite the region’s rich natural resources. The purpose of this activity was to enhance creativity and economic independence among housewives through environmentally friendly batik ecoprint training. The implementation methods included preparation, socialization, theoretical and practical training, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants were trained to use leaves and flowers as natural dyes in the batik-making process, accompanied by entrepreneurship and product marketing sessions. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, skills, and motivation to develop independent ecoprint-based businesses. In conclusion, the training successfully increased creativity, fostered entrepreneurial spirit, and contributed to family income growth and the development of the local creative economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran mata kuliah manajemen keuangan, literasi keuangan, dan herding behavior terhadap keputusan investasi saham mahasiswa di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kepada mahasiswa dari beberapa perguruan tinggi di Surabaya yang telah menempuh mata kuliah manajemen keuangan dan melakukan investasi saham. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran mata kuliah manajemen keuangan dan literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi saham mahasiswa, karena mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan analisis dalam pengambilan keputusan. Sementara itu, herding behavior juga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan investasi, yang menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan mahasiswa mengikuti keputusan kelompok dalam berinvestasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi faktor pengetahuan keuangan dan faktor psikologis berperan penting dalam membentuk keputusan investasi saham mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan literasi keuangan diperlukan untuk mendorong pengambilan keputusan investasi yang lebih rasional.
