Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the use of financial technology, lifestyle, peer interaction, and self-control on the personal management of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This type of research is explanatory research, with the study subjects being students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, specifically the Class of 2021 in the Bachelor of Accounting Education, Bachelor of Accounting, and Bachelor of Management study programs. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which involved a total of 188 students. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25. The results of the study show that (1) the use of financial technology, lifestyle, peer interaction, and self-control has a simultaneous effect on students' personal financial management. (2) The use of financial technology does not have a significant effect on students' personal financial management. (3) Lifestyle affects students' personal financial management. (4) Peer interaction affects students' personal financial management. (5) Self-control affects students' personal financial management. The adjusted R-squared value in this study was 46.9%, which means that the contribution of the influence of the use of financial technology, lifestyle, peer interaction, and self-control on students' personal financial management was 46.9%. While the remaining 53.1% was influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of cooperation development between the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business and partners from various institutions both domestically and abroad in order to achieve a Faculty with a global reputation. The research method used is a qualitative method where data collection is carried out by conducting in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and Focus Group discussions. The results of this research show that the development of partnership cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia with domestic and foreign partners includes education, research and community service. Educational activities in the form of lecturer and student exchanges, seminars, proceedings, guest lectures, visiting lecturers/professors, curriculum benchmarking. Collaboration in the field of research takes the form of joint research, joint publication, joint editor and journal reviewer. Collaboration in the field of community service takes the form of outreach activities, training, mentoring and demonstration activities related to partner needs. So far this collaboration has shown a significant positive impact. The results of the research findings can add theoretical and methodological studies to the repertoire of scientific development regarding the study of the importance of collaboration in an organization, especially for higher education institutions. The contribution of this research adds to the study of the importance of cooperation, not only for the benefit of both parties but also for having an impact on the progress of institutions and society. Contribution for educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, to continue to build partnerships and to socialize the importance of cooperation to increase institutional progress, building more networks to strengthen cooperation. The practical implication of this research is that the Faculty of Economics and Business continues to strive for collaborative networks with the aim of increasing and strengthening collaboration networks in accordance with the vision and mission of the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business. Priority programs in the context of achieving a global reputation can be used as main topics for collaboration with partners. This implication also adds to the study for educational and non-educational institutions that by collaborating, relationships are created to share knowledge, experience and resources to achieve common goals and contribute to the development of society and the nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect locus of control and the campus environment towards personal financial management which is mediated by the learning outcomes of Intermediate Financial Accounting 1. This type of research is quantitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The population of this study were students of the Accounting Education Study Program class 2020 – 2022 who had taken the Intermediate 1 Financial Accounting course and the sampling technique used simple random sampling. The data analysis technique uses SPSS version 29 analysis. The results of the research are 1) there is a positive and significant influence locus of control and AKM 1 learning outcomes towards personal financial management, 2) there is no influence between the campus environment and personal financial management, 3) there is a positive and significant influence locus of control and the campus environment on AKM 1, 4) learning outcomes simultaneously locus of control, campus environment, and AKM 1 learning outcomes influence personal financial management, 5) AKM 1 learning outcomes are able to mediate locus of control and the campus environment towards personal financial management.

Abstract

In the digital technology era, schools are expected to be able to implement teaching materials through technology-based media to deliver learning content effectively. Therefore, the PKM team aims to assist teachers at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) in developing technology-based teaching materials. The results of the training and mentoring sessions show that teachers are highly interested in the training on digital-based teaching materials. The teachers stated that the material presented during the training was clearly explained and easy to understand, particularly in the context of implementing online learning. The time required for the training activities was very efficient and effective, and the teachers found it to be much-needed. A total of 100% of the teachers agreed to use digital teaching materials after receiving the training. The conclusion of this community service is that the assistance provided aligns with the teachers' needs, as technology-based teaching materials are well-suited for both online and offline learning, enabling students to learn anytime and anywhere. The teachers' response to the teaching materials training was very positive. This program has had a significant impact on enhancing the teachers' understanding of developing digital teaching materials, which can contribute to improving the quality of education at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to overcome the spread of Covid-19 within the Faculty of Economics, State University of Surabaya through education for education staff to always apply health protocols through the 5M and MIO movements and increase immunity through consumption of nutritious food during WFO (Work From Office) so that it is expected to be able to increase immunity and will not be easily infected with Covid-19. The results of this PKM activity can be seen from the emergence of habits in implementing the 5M and MIO movements and always consuming multivitamins and intake of nutritious food to increase immunity so that currently there are no records of positive cases of COVID-19 patients among Faculty of Economics Unesa education staff.
