Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the strategy of the Government of Kliwonan Village, Banyuurip District, Purworejo Regency to increase public awareness in paying for land and building taxes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Purposive sampling used to determine the informant. Observation, interviews, and documentation used for collecting data. This study shows the strategy undertaken by the government is collaborating with the Banyuurip District Government, optimizing all village officials, mobilizing PKK and Dasa Wisma Mobilization Teams, conducting socialization, and visiting taxpayers directly.

Abstract

The central point of constitutionalism is the problem of Right Fundamental humans. related to this, the role constitution is very important which is not only just to give guarantee and protection in a manner written, however Also to provide various values used by the institution of Justice in the interpretation and elaboration of rights. the Objective article explains the connection between the Constitution and the right of basic human which include content, meaning, place in the Constitution, and consequence arrangement of the right of basic man in the Constitution. The method of research used is the literature review method. Results study article This is put a right basic man in constitution No only make it as fundamental rights, but rather as right highest constitutional.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of the mass media in strengthening the modern rule of law. This type of research is library research carried out using literature from previous studies. This systematic literature review method is a research method that identifies, assesses, and interprets all findings on a research topic, to answer predetermined research questions. The mass media can help maintain press freedom, increase government transparency and accountability, and provide information and public oversight that can help ensure that laws are enforced fairly and democratically. In addition, the mass media can also encourage public participation in the legal process, provide a forum for discussion and debate on controversial legal issues, and give voice to the community in terms of voicing their aspirations and interests. However, the mass media also need to pay attention to the challenges in their role, such as ensuring that they not only strengthen the interests of existing governments or economic forces, but also help safeguard the interests of society and justice

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teachers and schools in actualizing the value of local wisdom into PPKn (Civic Education) learning so that it becomes a strengthening of national character with religious values, independence, nationalism, mutual cooperation, and has integrity values. This study employed a descriptive approach with qualitative case studies conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul. The subjects were selected purposively, and data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The actualization of these values was analyzed as strengthening the national character of students. The research highlights the importance of cultural context in education and its role in fostering a sense of national identity. By identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process, the study provides insights that can inform educators, policymakers, and curriculum developers about effective strategies and potential challenges in promoting local wisdom within civic education. This contribution is crucial for enhancing educational practices that align with Indonesia's cultural heritage while promoting national character development among students.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, khususnya dalam media sosial, telah membawa dampak signifikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk di kalangan santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon, Singaparna, Tasikmalaya. Meskipun media sosial menawarkan berbagai manfaat seperti akses informasi cepat dan peluang berdakwah, penggunaan yang tidak bijaksana dapat menimbulkan risiko seperti penyebaran informasi palsu, cyberbullying, dan pelanggaran privasi. Hal ini diperparah oleh kurangnya pemahaman santri terhadap Undang-Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE) yang mengatur penggunaan teknologi informasi di Indonesia. Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengawasan ketat dan edukasi yang benar mengenai UU ITE dan etika bermedia sosial bagi para santri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperkuat kebijaksanaan santri dalam menggunakan media sosial melalui pemahaman yang mendalam tentang UU ITE, sehingga mereka dapat menjadi pengguna media sosial yang bijak, bertanggung jawab, dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pesantren. Luaran yang ditargetkan adalah terbentuknya generasi santri yang cerdas digital dan beretika dalam bermedia sosial, yang tidak hanya memanfaatkan media sosial secara efektif untuk berdakwah, tetapi juga mampu menghindari dampak negatif yang merugikan. Selain itu, mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai pesantren dalam penggunaan media sosial yang akan dicapai melalui pendidikan yang berkelanjutan, pengawasan yang ketat, serta pelatihan yang relevan, yang diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan digital yang lebih aman dan positif di kalangan santri. Keberhasilan upaya ini akan menjadi langkah penting dalam membangun kesadaran digital yang kuat di pesantren, yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Islami yang dipegang oleh Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon.

Abstract

Human rights education (HRE) has been shown to be an effective tool in combating bullying in schools. This study aims to explore the integration of HRE into school curricula across cultures and its impact on bullying behavior. Through case studies in several countries, including Indonesia, the United States, and Finland, the study found that a human rights-based approach not only increases students’ awareness of their rights and those of others, but also creates a safer and more inclusive school environment. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in formulating effective strategies to reduce bullying in schools.

Abstract

Social welfare is a crucial element of a nation, which involves various aspects of life such as health, education, economy, environment, social, and politics that are included in the concept of welfare state. The implementation of Article 34 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution in practice displays various obstacles faced by the government in actualising social welfare. This study indicates the significance of the welfare state as a critical review and evaluation and an effective scheme, so that it is used as an antidote by focusing on the constitutional mandate which is the basis for this research. This research uses a normative legal research study method with a conceptual approach and a regulatory approach. The results of this study highlight the significance of the welfare state in creating welfare according to the constitutional mandate that has been stated. Focusing on the concept of the welfare state, examining the active role of the state in ensuring a fair distribution of social welfare, and protecting human rights through social security. This reflects the commitment of the Indonesian government to fulfill the fundamental rights of its citizens, especially those who are still less fortunate. These actions reflect the dedication of the state to addressing social and economic disparities through various redistribution measures. The constitutional mandate emphasizes the central role of the welfare state in the layout of the national development of Indonesia. This comprehensive analysis is expected to provide significant contributions in improving the implementation of social welfare policies and achieving the constitutional goal of optimally caring for the less fortunates and neglected children.Keywords: Justice, Welfare, Welfare State. AbstrakKesejahteraan masyarakat adalah aspek penting dalam suatu negara, melibatkan berbagai aspek kehidupan seperti kesehatan, pendidikan, ekonomi, lingkungan, sosial, dan politik yang tercakup dalam konsep welfare state. Implementasi Pasal 34 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 pada praktiknya, menunjukkan berbagai kendala yang dihadapi pemerintah dalam menciptakan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kajian ini memperlihatkan kebermaknaan welfare state sebagai tinjauan dan evaluasi kritis serta skema efektif, sehingga dijadikan sebagai penawar dengan berfokus sesuai amanat konstitusi yang menjadi landasan pada penelitian ini. Riset ini mempergunakan metode kajian penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual dan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti kebermaknaan welfare state dalam menciptakan kesejahteraan sesuai amanat konstitusi yang telah dicantumkan. Fokus pada konsep welfare state, mengkaji peran aktif negara dalam memastikan distribusi kesejahteraan sosial yang adil, serta melindungi hak asasi manusia melalui jaminan sosial. Hal ini mencerminkan komitmen pemerintah Indonesia untuk memenuhi hak-hak dasar warganya, khususnya mereka yang masih kurang beruntung. Tindakan tersebut mencerminkan dedikasi negara dalam menangani disparitas sosial dan ekonomi melalui langkah-langkah redistribusi yang beragam. Amanat konstitusi tersebut menegaskan peran sentral welfare state dalam pembangunan nasional Indonesia. Analisis komprehensif ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memperbaiki implementasi kebijakan kesejahteraan sosial dan mencapai tujuan konstitusional untuk memelihara fakir miskin dan anak terlantar secara optimal.Kata Kunci: Keadilan, Kesejahteraan, Negara Kesejahteraan.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the development of the Constitutional Court Decision in addressing the Dispute on the Presidential and Vice Presidential Election Results (PHPU) and the impact of the said decision on the legitimacy of the election results and the political stability in Indonesia. This is a normative legal research with a library study approach and literature study. The results of the study conclude that, first, Constitutional Court Decisions which address the Disputes on the Presidential and Vice Presidential Election Results since 2004, 2009, 2014, 2019 and 2024 have repetitively rejected the application thus the PHPU lawsuits have never been granted. However, in the 2024 trial, three justices posed their dissenting opinion. The dissenting opinion in the 2024 trial was the first to occur in the history of the Presidential Election disputes in Indonesia. The dissenting opinion presented by the three Constitutional Court justices is evidence that there remain critical voices that are committed to the principles of justice and democracy. In general, the development of Constitutional Court decisions display significant evolution in terms of procedural, substantive, and interpretive aspects with the increasing use of stricter and more transparent legal principles, as well as efforts to ensure the fairness and validity of the election process. Second, the impact of Constitutional Court decisions on the legitimacy of election results and the political stability in Indonesia, namely maintaining public trust in the election process, can contribute to a peaceful transition of power, and strengthen the democratic system. Public trust in the Constitutional Court is a fundamental pillar in maintaining constitutional justice and the supremacy of law in Indonesia.Keywords: Constitutional Court Decision, Development, General Election Results Dispute, Presidential Election. AbstrakTulisan ini menganalisis perkembangan Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam menangani Perkara Perselisihan Hasil Pemilihan Umum (PHPU) Presiden dan Wakil Presiden serta dampak putusan terhadap legitimasi hasil pemilihan umum dan stabilitas politik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan, pertama, Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam menangani PHPU Presiden dan wakil Presiden dari sejak tahun 2004, 2009, 2014, 2019 dan 2024 menolak permohonan pemohon dan tidak pernah terjadi pengabulan gugatan PHPU. Namun, pada sidang 2024 tiga hakim memiliki pendapat berbeda (dissenting opinion). Dissenting opinion pada sidang 2024 merupakan yang pertama terjadi dalam sejarah sengketa Pilpres di Indonesia. Dissenting opinion yang disajikan oleh tiga hakim MK menjadi bukti bahwa masih ada suara-suara kritis yang berkomitmen pada prinsip keadilan dan demokrasi. Secara keseluruhan, perkembangan putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi menunjukkan evolusi yang signifikan dari aspek prosedural, substansial, dan interpretatif dengan peningkatan penggunaan prinsip-prinsip hukum yang lebih ketat dan transparan, serta upaya untuk memastikan keadilan dan keabsahan proses pemilihan. Kedua, dampak putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi terhadap legitimasi hasil pemilihan umum dan stabilitas politik di Indonesia yakni menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap proses Pemilu, dapat berkontribusi pada transisi kekuasaan secara damai, dan memperkuat sistem demokrasi. Kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap Mahkamah Konstitusi merupakan pilar fundamental dalam terpeliharanya keadilan konstitusi dan supremasi hukum di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Pemilihan Presiden, Perkembangan, Perselisihan Hasil Pemilihan Umum, Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi.

Abstract

Pelatihan Pemahaman Perlindungan Hak-Hak Anak di SMA Negeri 1 Singaparna, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya merupakan kegiatan penyuluhan yang direncanakan pada tanggal 26 Juni 2024. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan staf pengajar mengenai hak-hak anak serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya perlindungan hak anak di lingkungan sekolah. Dalam analisis situasi, terlihat bahwa masih terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi perlindungan hak anak di sekolah, seperti kurangnya pemahaman praktis dan tingginya angka pelanggaran hak anak. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang hak-hak mereka, pencegahan kasus-kasus pelanggaran hak anak, serta keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam mendukung perlindungan hak anak. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman dan mendukung bagi perkembangan anak-anak di SMA Negeri 1 Singaparna.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Pemahaman, Perlindungan Hak-Hak Anak, Penyuluhan.

Abstract

The issue of traffic violations has been discussed by the general public for a long time. This shows a low level of discipline. This study aims to analyze the formation of disciplinary character and honesty related to the implementation of ETLE. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 2 high school Civics teachers, 2 counseling teacher, 1 high school student affairs teacher, 3 police officers, and 3 11th grade high school students. Data collection in this study was conducted by interview and documentation. Data validity checks were carried out using crosscheck techniques. While data analysis uses qualitative analysis techniques with stages: data collection, data reduction, data display and verification and confirmation of conclusions. This study resulted in the findings of the formation of Discipline Character in high school applying positive discipline because the teachers set a good example first and socialize what the benefits of school rules are. The method of forming honesty only relies on exams, reprimands and students who consult BK. Supervision related to this is also carried out when students are at school and wearing uniforms. If outside of that the school leaves it to the parents. The application of ETLE does not fully foster the character of discipline and honesty, especially in high school students. Because there are still those who violate invisible rules such as not having a SIM and ETLE can still be cheated by covering the vehicle license plate.
