Abstract

Song lyrics have some purposes, reasons, and messages. It contains various themes such as current and social issues and issues that the songwriter wants to share through the ideology, thoughts and feelings expressions. This research aims at finding out the text analysis, social cognition and social context of the All Will Be Fine song. The research used a qualitative research design. The key instrument of the research is human instrument. In validating the data, this research used the triangulation technique. Further, the data were analyzed using Van Djik's analysis model. It was analyzed through the dimensions of text (macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure), social cognition and social context. The research used Agih method to analyze three stages of text dimensions and Padan method to determine the social cognition and social context of the song lyric. Based on the analysis that has been done, the results provided that the words of discourse were cohesive, coherent and communicative. In addition, the social cognition diction of the song lyrics has been relatable to the current condition and Covid-19 all around the world as social context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh minat belajar bahasa terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman, (2) pengaruh penguasaan gramatik terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman (3) pengaruh minat belajar bahasa Jerman dan penguasaan gramatik secara bersama-sama terhadap keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian jenis ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Dengan teknik simple random sampling, sample penelitian ini adalah 40 peserta didik. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua variabel bebas yaitu minat belajar bahasa Jerman (X1) dan penguasaan gramatik (X2), serta satu variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan membaca bahasa Jerman (Y). Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket dan tes. Validitas instrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Uji validitas setiap instrumen terdiri dari validitas isi, validitas konstruk, dan butir soal. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) minat belajar Bahasa Jerman berpengaruh pada keterampilan membaca Bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. (2) Penguasaan gramatik juga berpengaruh pada keterampilan membaca Bahasa Jerman, peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. (3) minat belajar Bahasa Jerman dan penguasaan Gramatik secara bersama sama memiliki pengaruh terhadapa keterampilan membaca Bahasa Jerman peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. The effect of language learning interest and grammatical mastery toward German reading skills of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Abstract: This research aims to determine (1) the effect of language learning interest on German reading skill, (2) the effect of grammatical mastery on German reading skill Sedayu, (3) the effect of both German learning interest and grammatical mastery simultaneously toward German reading skill of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. This research is ex post facto research. The population in this study is class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. Using a simple random sampling technique, the samples in this research were 40 students. The study consisted of two variables, i.e., German learning interest (XI) and grammatical mastery (X2), and one dependent variable, i.e., German reading skill (Y). The data in this research were obtained using a questionnaire and test. The instrument validation used the formulation of product-moment correlation. The validity test of every instrument consisted of content validity, construct validity, and question item. The reliability test used the formulation of Alpha Cronbach. The results of this study indicate (1) learning interest in the German language affected the reading skill in the German language of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu, (2) grammatical mastery also affected the reading skill of the German language of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu, (3) both German learning interest and grammatical mastery affect simultaneously toward German reading skill of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu.

Abstract

This study aims to improve (1) the listening skills and (2) motivation to learn German of students of class XI A SMAK St. Fransiskus Xaverius Ruteng through the use of audiovisual- based multimedia. This classroom action research (PTK) involved 35 learners and was conducted in two cycles from November 4 to December 4, 2024. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages with four actions. Data collection was conducted through interviews, questionnaires, observations, field notes, documentation, and learner-learning outcomes tests. The results showed a significant improvement in listening skills, with the average score increasing from 84 in the first cycle to 92 in the second cycle. In addition, learning motivation increased from 40% in pre-action to 64% in the first cycle and 91% in the second cycle. Although there were obstacles, such as the speed of the video and difficulty understanding vocabulary, students showed high enthusiasm. Therefore, this study recommends the development and optimization of multimedia-based learning media to increase students' engagement and understanding in learning German.

Abstract

Indonesian: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan: (1) Penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman  peserta didik SMAN 1 Ngaglik melalui teknik permainan Mystery Bag dan (2) Keaktifan peserta didik SMAN 1 Ngaglik melalui teknik permainan Mystery Bag. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research (CAR) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Strategi penelitian ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif anatara peneliti dan guru. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Keberhasilan proses dan (2) Keberhasilan produk. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Ngaglik yang terdiri dari 33 peserta didik. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi kelas, wawancara, angket, catatan lapangan, dokumentasi, dan tes penguasaan kosakata. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik permainan Mystery Bag dapat meningkatkan: (1) Penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman peserta didik SMAN 1 Ngaglik. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata tersebut sebesar 28,45%, yaitu dari 57,67 (sebelum diberi tindakan) menjadi 86,12 (setelah diberi tindakan) dan (2) Keaktifan peserta didik kelas XI C1 SMAN 1 Ngaglik pada pembelajaran bahasa Jerman. Peningkatan sebesar 22,22% yaitu dari 42,17% (sebelum diberi tindakan) menjadi 64,39% (setelah diberi tindakan). English: The reasearch aims to improve: (1) the German language vocabulary mastery of students of SMAN 1 Ngaglik through Mystery Bag game technique and (2) activeness of students of SMAN 1 Ngaglik through Mystery Bag game technique. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This research strategy was conducted collaboratively between researcher and teacher. The indicators of success in this research are (1) the succes of the process and (2) the succes of the product. The subjects in this research were students of class XI SMAN 1 Ngaglik consisting of 33 students. The data in this study were obtained through classroom observation, interviews, questionnaires, field notes, documentation, and vocabulary mastery tests. The data were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this research indicate that the Mystery Bag game technique can improve: (1) the German language vocabulary mastery of students of SMAN 1 Ngaglik. The increase in the average score was 28.45%, namely from 57.67 (before given the action) to 86.12 (after given the action) and (2) The activeness of students of class XI C1 SMAN 1 Ngaglik in learning German. The increase was 22.22%, from 42.17% (before the action) to 64.39% (after the action).

Abstract

This study describes the application of a perennial perspective in teaching politeness and its impact on students' character development, particularly in the context of Indonesian language education. Using a qualitative research approach, this study employed content analysis of existing literature on perennials and politeness in educational settings. Data collection techniques used were reading and note-taking, enriched by literature review and documentation studies. The research findings indicate that incorporating a perennial perspective in teaching politeness increases students' moral awareness and strengthens their capacity for ethical and empathetic communication. Perennialism, which emphasizes timeless moral principles, offers a strong foundation for cultivating politeness, particularly in an era of rapid social and technological change. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on how a perennial approach can positively impact the moral and social dimensions of language learning. AbstrakPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan perspektif perennial dalam pengajaran kesantunan berbahasa dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan bahasa Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi dari literatur yang ada tentang perennial dan kesantunan berbahasa dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat, dan diperkaya dengan studi literatur dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggabungkan perspektif perennial dalam pengajaran kesantunan berbahasa meningkatkan kesadaran moral siswa dan memperkuat kapasitas mereka untuk komunikasi yang etis dan empatik. Perennialisme, yang menekankan prinsip-prinsip moral yang abadi, menawarkan landasan yang kuat untuk menumbuhkan kesantunan berbahasa, khususnya di era perubahan sosial dan teknologi yang cepat. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada semakin banyaknya literatur tentang bagaimana pendekatan perennial dapat berdampak positif pada dimensi moral dan sosial pembelajaran bahasa.
