Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the ability to write children's poetry in fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation, while the instruments I used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis, it was stated that the ability to write poetry for fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Mallengkeri I, Makassar City obtained good results but still needs to be trained. Obstacles in writing children's poetry and how to overcome them in class V students at SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar City, namely especially in writing spelling as well as the relationship between one paragraph and another paragraph, limited by the time given by the teacher so that students are unable to think quietly. The way to overcome this is that they are often given more practice and given special guidance in writing or repeated writing and given directions and explanations about using good spelling.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in reading comprehension skills through a whole language approach for class IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Sambung Jawa 1 Mamajang District, Makassar City. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was carried out at UPT SPF SD Inpres Sambung Jawa 1 Mamajang District, Makassar City with 30 class IV students as research subjects. The instruments of this research were an observation sheet and a reading comprehension test. Observation, test and documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the reading comprehension ability of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Sambung Jawa 1 through the whole language approach which can be seen in the percentage of students who completed the first cycle, 63% and in the second cycle, the percentage of students who completed it was 93%.

Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran seharusnya dapat diatasi melalui riset yang dituangkan dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah dengan melibatkan teman sejawat, kepala sekolah, pihak-pihak terkait sebagai studi empiris serta melakukan studi literatur sebagai pendekatan teoretis sebagai studi pendahuluan dalam rangka mencari solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan terhadap mitra sebagai langkah awal kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM), ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru, seperti kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah. Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di lingkup Yayasan Perguruan Islam Bontote'ne dilakukan dengan pendekatan terstruktur dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan guru pada sekolah mitra. Pengabdian yang dikemas dalam bentuk Pelatihan Penulisan Karya Ilmiah untuk Guru. Pendekatan tersebut berupa observasi awal terhadap kebutuhan guru di sekolah mitra sehingga dapat dirumuskan Upaya solutif terhadap kebutuhan tersebut. Oleh karena itu dirumuskan langkah-langkah kegiatan yaitu audiensi; observasi awal; perumusan desain program pelatihan dan pelaksanaan program pelatihan. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan antusiasme dari peserta kegiatan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan pada saat kegiatan, peserta menunjukkan keaktifan dalam menggali informasi dan pengetahuan terkait penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Hal tersebut menunjukkan keinginan guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan pengembangan diri sebagai tenaga pendidik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher performance in terms of planning, implementation, evaluation, communication, and competency development. This study used a descriptive quantitative design to analyze the performance of Indonesian language teachers. The population in this study were all Indonesian language subject teachers who taught at Madrasah Aliyah in Makassar City, totaling 46 people. The sample in this study were Indonesian language subject teachers who taught at 3 State Aliyah Madrasahs in Makassar City totaling 17 people. Data collection using a questionnaire given to Indonesian language subject teachers. The data collected were then analyzed by descriptive statistics. Before analyzing the data, researchers will process the data through editing, coding, and tabulating. The data will be presented in the form of frequency distribution tables and percentages. The results showed that the performance of Indonesian language teachers was still moderate. It needs improvement in planning, implementation, evaluation, communication, and competency development. Strategic steps are needed: improving students' initial analysis and technology in lesson plans, focusing on time management, interesting learning methods, evaluation with appropriate items, good communication, and competency development with class action research and scientific work. A comprehensive approach through professional development, innovative learning, continuous evaluation, open communication, and competency development is key in improving the performance of Indonesian language teachers.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the lack of short story writing skills in class V students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. So the researchers used Bolding media (rolling balls). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Bolding media (rolling balls) on the short story writing skills of class V students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. The data source in this research was 15 class V students at SD Inpres Kampung Parang, Eremerasa District, Bantaeng Regency. Data collection was carried out using the results of the assessment of short story writing skills. The data obtained was then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. After analyzing the data, researchers found that student learning outcomes before using Bolding (rolling ball) learning media were relatively low, namely the average score of the Pre-test results was 58 .33, then the average value of the Post-test results is 85.67. After obtaining tCount 9.223 and tTable 2.14479, we get tCount > tTable or 9.223>2.14479. Based on the results of tCount and tTable, it can be said that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the use of Bolding (rolling ball) learning media is effective on short story writing skills for class V elementary school. Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI SD yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya dukungan orang tua, dan media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran word wall untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah (R&D), dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg & Gall. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 28 siswa kelas VI,. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Analisis data mencakup uji normalitas, uji T-test, dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian yaitu media WORD WAL dinilai layak tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 88-94. Hasil uji N-gain menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan membaca siswa kategori sedang. Disimpulkan media yang dikembangkan dan layak serta efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI SD. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup peran media dalam pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan Aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA siswa dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran cooperative the learning cell dan pembelajaran konvensional serta menganalisis pegaruh penerapan Model pembeelajaran cooperative the learning cell terhadap Aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 6 Bulu – Bulu . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis true eksperimental desaign dengan desain penelitian Posttest only Control desain. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 52 siswa terdiri dari 26 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 26 orang kelas kontrol. Teknik pengmpulan data kemampuan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan tes, aktivitas siswa dan respon siswa. (1) Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan Model pembelajaran cooperative the learning cell lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Indikator hasil belajar siswa pada penelitian ini adalah Skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah diberi perlakuan (posttest) adalah 82,08 dengan standar deviasi 8,265, sedangkan rata – rata hasil belajar IPA untuk kelas kontrol adalah 77,38 dengan standar deviasi 6,634. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh bahwa 25 siswa (96,15%) mampu mencapai nilai ketuntasan dan 1 siswa (3,85%) tidak mencapai nilai ketuntasan yang berarti bahwa ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal telah tercapai, ini berarti bahwa ketuntasan secara klasikal telah tercapai hasil analisis inferensial juga menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan dengan nilai p-value > 0,532 yang berarti ditolak yakni rata – rata hasil belajar posttest lebih dari 69,99. (2) Aktivitas siswa yang terlibat aktif pada kelas eksperimen dalam pembelajaran yaitu 83,64%. (3) Rata-rata persentase siswa yang merespon positif pada kelas eksperimen terhadap pembelajaran yaitu 85,31 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan Model pembelajaran cooperative the learning cell terdapat pengaruh positif pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Negeri 6 Bulu - Bulu.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Terpencil 350 Kahaya, Kecamatan Kindang, Kabupaten Bulukumba, tahun 2023/2024. Kemampuan membaca permulaan merupakan dasar pendidikan di SD, sesuai dengan UU No. 20 Tahun 2003. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil penelitian. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat siswa dalam membaca permulaan meliputi malas belajar dan lebih asik bermain. Solusi yang diterapkan guru adalah inovasi baru dalam pengajaran membaca dan perhatian khusus bagi siswa yang kesulitan. Hasil penelitian melalui observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 siswa, 10 siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan. Sebanyak 20% siswa belum mengenal huruf, 20% belum lancar membaca, dan 38% kurang dalam membaca nyaring dan pemahaman bacaan.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the greeting patterns of the Indonesian language used by junior high school students at Unismuh Makassar. The data in this study consists of the oral utterances of Unismuh Makassar junior high school students that contain greetings or various forms of greetings spoken by the speaker. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative. The primary data is information obtained directly through observation of student conversations and interviews related to the required data, consisting of 10 questions. Meanwhile, the secondary data is information obtained from other sources regarding the junior high school students of Unismuh Makassar. The observation method technique is used in this research. The results of this study are as follows: (1) At Unismuh Makassar Junior High School, students' multilingual verbal interactions reflect a combination of Makassar and Indonesian languages. Students use greetings such as "mauka," "kakak," "adik," "Ibu," and "Bapak," as well as informal greetings like "Cika," "Beb," "Eh," and "Weh." These greetings indicate a variety of contexts, from formal forms that show respect to informal ones that indicate closeness. (2) Unismuh Makassar junior high school students demonstrate the integration of Indonesian and Makassar languages in their greeting patterns. They combine both languages, such as using "mauko" when meeting friends. In formal situations, like interacting with teachers, students use the Makassar language as a form of respect. This reaffirms the role of both in students' daily communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the use of blog media on learning interest in writing skills, and personal experiences of class V students at SDN 179 Tanah Beru, Bulukumba Regency, in terms of the use of student interest response questionnaires. The type of research used is pre-experimental research. The research design used is a one-shot case study, namely experimental research carried out by demonstrating the strength of measurement and scientific value of a research design. The experimental subjects in this research were 19 students as a trial class to apply the use of blog media. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire technique of student learning interests or student responses. The research results show that from the results of the data analysis of the student interest in learning questionnaire, the ideal score is 92.89%, which is in the very good category. So, it can be concluded that the influence of using blog media on interest in learning the personal experience writing skills of class V students at SDN 179 Tanah Beru, Bulukumba Regency is in the very good category.
